If you're me, then...

She's always wanted to be tall. This is a bit much, though. Way too high off the ground, and no balance-keeping subroutines to rely on. Humans do this all manually? This is awful. And then there's the... sensations. Do humans know they've always got fluids moving around and their bodies are making weird gurgling noises and there's nothing to filter every feeling bombarding her and the red is hurting her eyes and the air smells weird why does she think that what's going on?

"Ooh, this sucks. This sucks," groans Uzi. "Is this what human nausea feels like? I'm gonna be sick. I think?"

It's adjacent to drone nausea, but without the helpful pop-ups. She doesn't even have a HUD anymore, so it's just one awful thing after another. She looks over and up, then reminds herself she's tall now, and then looks down at her companion. Or, herself. Because it wasn't bad enough that Uzi became someone else, but someone else also became her.

"Hey, Suletta. Don't you have any frickin'... I dunno, any powers? Can you fly? Are you psychic? Magical? Cyborg? Literally anything?" she says, frowning. "Or is it just my luck I got stuck with a frickin' normie?"

"Suletta? Your actually here?" For awhile 621 was pretty sure they had just fallen off the face of the city. Or according to other people may have found her way back home. But there was no denying that very bright red hair in the distance. Even if they never really spoke too often.

"I thought you had gotten back to your own world safely. Or you know...something worse."

Lloyd smiled at the girl, bright and wide as she finished up wrapping a bandage around his hand. Of course, the one time he went without his gloves, he got himself hurt-- it was nice that she was there at the right time to help him out, but.. he did feel a little bad that she had to in the first place. Not that she seemed to mind at all, to his surprise.

"You've already done enough with this-- I'm sure I'll be better in no time, but I'll let you know if it gets any worse. I promise."

Luz held out a chocolate eclair bar to the other, shaking the packaging gently, as though that might further tempt her into taking it.

archer likes nature the way a plant likes the sun. their stone needs sunlight to recharge— it's their primary energy source. without any contact to the sun, they'd be asleep similarly to their hundred year nap, and would only awaken after laying in the light for a while.

they need the sun for energy, but they love and enjoy every other aspect of nature, as well. they like to sit in a meadow and feel the warmth of it on a hot summer day, or the wet dew on a chilly morning. they like smelling rain in the air and taste fresh snow. it somehow connects to their humanity— archer is a comet, and their home is the sky, the nothingness around diana. but their own nature, their own self, loves the planet below, the nature that it inhabits, the one that can't be found in space. they were made on diana, and they deeply connect to this other home of theirs.

somewhat related, they get nervous if they're cooped up for too long. sometimes that can't be avoided due to their disabilities and their need to rest, but they prefer being outside. if they're stuck inside, they get anxious and upset.

"Suletta?" Eri had spent most of the day wandering about in an attempt to get her bearings and find her family, relief flooding her chest when she identified her younger sister. Everything was confusing right now- Aerial was tiny, she couldn't connect to the data storm anymore, and she had a physical body. But things were looking up now, and she was certain she could make sense of it all once she found mom.

"Suletta! What h- ah!" Still unused to the feeling of gravity and need to balance herself while walking, she stumbled forward; clunky space suit not helping. "Urgh..."

"Do I look like one of them? I didn't make a "eghhh" noise or anything right." It was the only thing she could think of saying once someone managed to bump into her, even if she brushed it off with a smile "Just trying to lighten the mood. As I stand I'm pretty much not one of those monsters outside."

Which probably was a good thing. Last enemy anyone needed was a boat girl with enough firepower to level a block on top of creatures trying to break into your homes and safe zones...

"Nah if I ended up as one of those things I think I'd have to reconsider my life choices. I mean think about it, the Indomitable Black Dragon getting taken down by a few zombies? Or well I guess they LOOK like zombies but I don't really know if its the same exact thing. You get me right?"

Still they were going to be surrounded if the two stayed in here. But judging from the message the BB read NJ could put a few things together.

"Going out there even with that big ass mech is probably a death sentence sweetie. Everyone's a little shocky right now. And most of us don't do well when that many volts go through our bodies."

IN FOR A SHOCK

☆ Suletta didn't like the looks of this. In the Calibarn she had been safe, but something had happened with the Glitched. A modifier had supercharged them all with electricity, and that was not only interrupting the Gundam's navigational systems but had eventually led to a surge akin to a mini-EMP that had took down the power temporarily.

She had to climb down with the retractable step for the time being. They seemed to be attracted to people, and if the Calibarn was swarmed with them she'd have a hard time escaping later. Fortunately, she was near a gas station. She slipped inside, and immediately ran face first into someone. "Ah!?"

In a typical Suletta fashion she was the one to fall backwards and landed on her butt. "S-Sorry! You're not one of those monsters, are you?"

★ : it's been quiet lately. miorine finds that she's been in something of a haze - and then the memories had flooded in. there's so much she wants to talk to suletta about, and it feels like there's just not enough time in the world for any of it.

or maybe here there is too much time. it gives her too much time to think by herself, alone with a whirl of emotion and stress and regret and guilt that is overwhelming. what happened to the world they left behind? what happened to everyone else?

when she spots suletta, all she does is rush forward, the only audible sound the clack of her shoes upon the tile floor, and collides with the other girl with a force that would have probably knocked anyone else over.

not suletta, though. miorine keeps her face buried in her chest to hide any stain of wretched emotion from bubbling up to the service. this is her anchor; suletta is a safe place now, she realizes.

'don't question me right now.'

"So no, is what I'm hearing. Really... frickin' awesome." Uzi sighs, screwing her eyes shut tight. Ugh, too tight, now her head hurts. Why are humans made like this?

If they weren't going through some kind of glitchy zombie apocalypse right now, Uzi might think this whole thing was kinda neat. They'd probably learn some kind of lame lesson at the end of it, like humans and robots aren't so different after all, or what-the-hell-ever. But now it's some stupid forced cooperation story, along with a lame bodyswap. We're just picking fic tropes out of a hat now, huh?

"I mean, pilot skills aren't worth anything if there's nothing to pilot, so unless you're hiding one of those mobile suits under a tarp nearby, gonna go with 'not helpful.'" Uzi glances over her shoulder; even her lame human senses can pick up on the moaning and groaning on the main street, and if the two girls hang around much longer they're going to be glitched chow.

There's something about the term 'mobile suit' that's familiar, something on the tip of her tongue... But that's not something to worry about when they could be eaten in the next few minutes.

Uzi shoots her ex-tail a glare, raising a hand to slap at it before remembering it's not her body anymore. "Yeah, it is alive," she sighs. "And it's a psycho, so whatever you do, don't listen to it. Anyways, unlike some people, I have cool and awesome powers, but they're the 'comes with a heavy price' type, so don't try 'em unless we're about to die. Alright? Now, let's..."

Let's what? Let's run aimlessly? Get eaten by not-zombies? Uzi sighs and scratches at her head. Real hair feels weird. "I dunno. You got any ideas?" she says, looking down at Suletta.

☆ Everything felt... weird. Everything had been normal one moment (aside from the zombies) and the next she'd become smaller? Not just smaller. Her movements felt weird. Thinking felt weird. All of the sensations that she associated with her body just weren't there. There was something beating within her chest, for example, but it didn't really feel like a heart. Her vision had... a HUD? Like a video game?

Her eyes squeaked when they moved. Actually, were they eyes? A robotic hand touched her face. It was a screen. Well, that kind of made sense. She was pretty sure she'd swapped places with the robot girl she'd just bumped into.

"E-Eh!?" The sound of her own voice speaking to her in a super casual way snapped her out of the trance she'd been in when she tried to come to terms with this new drone body. "P-Powers? I mean, I'm a Replichild I guess... I'm kind of strong? And really athletic... But what I'm really good at is piloting Mobile Suits."

The threat of the Glitched still loomed. Calibarn wasn't here, and even if it was? She wouldn't be able to pilot it. Uzi's body probably wouldn't be able to work with the Permet properly. There was something else, too. Suletta had a million questions, but something was creeping out. "Why... does your tail keep staring at me? It's not a-alive, is it?" It had a stupid face, with its tongue hanging out.
