HOW IS MY UPCOMING MERCURY MAHADASHA, A CASE STUDY
The native wants to know about his upcoming mercury mahadasha as per Vedic astrology of his horoscope and only wants to good results.
Based on the given birth details DOB 08.12.1996 at 16:09 pm in Falticeni, Romania and the analysis is done as per KP Vedic astrology padhatti / system.
The plotted horoscope shows vrushab lagna / taurus ascendant with mars in 4th house, rahu in 5th house, venus n moon in 6th house, sun in 7th house, mercury n Jupiter in 8th house and Saturn n ketu in 11th house.
The moon is in Vishaka nakshatra in thula rashi / moon in libra sign and the current ruling mahadasha is Saturn.
In order to learn about the current running mercury mahadasha one need to study the significances house signified by mercury and study their significances as per the significances of the sublord of those houses.
From the horoscope the upcoming mahadasha is mercury and its signifying 2,3 and 8th house in the planet level as well as in the sublord level and ketu signifying 5,7,8,9,10,11 and 12th house in the nakshatra level.
Ketu is in conjunction with Saturn signifying 10 and 11th house.
There are many analyses I have not presented here due to constrain of time and more over the article will become too lengthy and boring.
From the analysis I conclude that the native experience a mix kind of results of good as well as bad.
The native will experience a transformation in his life during this mercury mahadasha ruling period.
He will be in good job and have status with equal job responsibilities and job pressure. He will need to travel a lot in his career life.
The earning will be good with equal good expenditures and so the native should learn to have a check on it.
Over all a good period with few this and that and it is there with everyone in life and native will handle it smartly. The native asked for good predictions only and I did so.

Omg thank you so much, now everything is much clearer! 🧡🧡
ur welcome angel 💛
for the unversed, this is an overly simplified summary of the mahadashas (keep in mind that this is a massive generalization and how u experience ur dasha depends on ur chart/placements)
Sun mahadasha - confident, slayy gaining recognition? whatever u do is a hit or if u have an afflicted Sun then the exact opposite 😬
Moon- 🤠 life is like a melodrama, extreme emotional highs and lows, lots of situations with women/mother,, imagine just being emotional for a couple of years and not being able to turn it off? yeah, that
Mercury- 💸🤑💸🤑cash money eraaa, use ur head and get that baggg
Venus- 😍✨🤌🏼trophy wife lifestyle even if ur not a woman or a wife, things just flow to u, people come to u like flies attracted to honey, whatever u do will be appreciated
Mars- 🏋️ girl boss era, could struggle with appearance but otherwise AMBITIOUS SLAYY
Jupiter - contrary to popular belief, Jupiter does not cover u in dollars bills, it tests u and if u are worthy, u will be rewarded
Saturn- 🥲learn everything slowly , be a late bloomer, learn things the hard way, struggle to keep up, wonder why u have to suffer more than others and then realise it's bc it's ur goddamn Saturn MD and then work your butt off to appease Saturn
Rahu- 🤪🥳😌 delusional era , on a serious note I feel like rahu md can make people paranoid bc they're literally too in their head 😬but it can give really exaggerated results and blow things out of proportion, I think doja cat is in rahu mahadasha rn and she's so different now compared to like her juicy era ??
Ketu 😳😤😩faith will help you bc nothing else will not to fearmonger but 😮💨girlies be so detached from life sometimes they stop living (figuratively or literally 💀) soooo many celebs have died during their Ketu MD im being so srs rn (not saying u will tho <3)

Financial indicators in Vedic astrology
Here, we will see some of the financial indicators.
1. Lakshmi- Narayan yoga
This yoga is formed when venus and mercury are in same house. In short, conjunction of venus and mercury form lakshmi- Narayan yoga.
Lakshmi is known as goddess of money.
Result:
Native will gain money gradually in his life.
They will not be facing poverty
They will not be facing any issues to satisfy their basic needs.
2. Chandra- Mangal yoga
This yoga is formed when moon and Mars sit in the same house. In short, conjunction of moon and Mars form Chandra- Mangal yoga
Moon (Chandra) represents heart and Mars (Mangal) represents energt
Result:
Native will have a lot of will tk earn money
Their mother will have a lot of energy. They will have soldier like qualities
Their mother will also have aggressive nature but will be really strong
Native themselves will have a lot of anger.
3. Viprit raj yoga
This yoga is formed when:
6th house lord is in 6th, 8th or 12th house
8th house lord is in 6th, 8th or 12th house
12th house lord is in 6th, 8th or 12th house
6th, 8th and 12th house are considered worst houses in astrology. So, when their lord is in these particular house, it is said to give good result.
Result:
Native will not face any financial issues.
Observation: I have seen that many people have this yoga. But on the other hand, there is a concept known as raj yoga, which makes native extremely rich. Maybe I will make a post about it soon.
4. Upchaya bhav yoga
This yoga is formed when:
3rd house lord is in 6th, 10th or 11th house
6th house lord is in 10th or 11th house
10th house lord is in 11th house
Result:
Native will not face any financial issues
They will be fairly stable in their life.
STRENGTH INDICATOR
Yogas give best result in 1st, 5th, 9th and 11th house. So if you are having chandra-mangal or lakshmi- Narayan yoga in these houses, then it gives best result.
Result is not so effective when these both yogas are in 6th, 10th and 12th house.
Other houses give mediocre result
These show best result when you are in that particular planet's mahadasha (a long time period ruled by a particular planet)
For example, if you have Lakshmi- Narayana yoga and you are undergoing mercury's mahadasha and when mercury will be inside venus (mercury- venus), then these yoga will give extremely good result.
Planet should not be combust. Note that, mercury is combust in more than 90% cases, so it is given blessing that combust will not effect its power
However, if venus, moon or any other planet is combust, then the strength of the indicator will lessen.
If you have any doubt, then feel free to send an ask.

Atmakaraka Series - Part 5
Atmakaraka is the planet with the highest degree in the birth chart.
Short note : atmakaraka can give good or bad results depending on the strength of the atmakaraka planet.
Atmakaraka in 5th house:-
The person needs to take care of children, it can be their own or somebody else's. You will also be forced to learn things that go against your beliefs.
Sun atmakaraka in 5th house - you can get really lucky during your sun mahadasha. For you, education is very important and you guys will probably do a PhD, or just a lot of diploma courses, you could also be more interested in dual degree programmes. If sun is making a conjunction with jupiter then you can be really good at speculative business. If it's with saturn, then refrain from engaging in such things. You are probably interested in learning ancient texts, especially the religious people, you will learn the language in which the texts were originally written so that you can understand them even better. If you have this placement in libra, leo or scorpio then you guys can be really good actors, if you're interested in acting, then I would suggest you to go for it.
Moon atmakaraka in 5th house - you guys are pretty criers, that's a fact. I have also noticed this placement in a lot of actors who are really good at portraying mental disorders on screen, especially, personality and eating disorders and schizophrenia. But if moon is weak, then you shouldn't do roles like these, because a lot of these actors went into depression because they played their characters "too well". I feel like even if you don't want to have children, you will end up doing a job that requires you to interact with kids. Kids really like you too, you maybe the kind of person who can very easily put kids to sleep, this is because they feel safe with you. This is also a stay-at-home parent placement. I know a woman with this placement, and she genuinely likes taking care of her kids, this is what she wanted to do, and she's happy with her life.
Mercury atmakaraka in 5th house - you are someone who likes to invest in education. I know a girl with this placement and her parents wanted to marry her off after she completed her schooling but she left her house, started earning money on her own and then went to college. I personally think that this is a REALLY REALLY good placement to have if you live in India or in a country where parents give more preference to a girl's marriage then her education, because it gives you the courage to fight for your education. You could be a very skilled performer, and have the ability to charm an audience. You guys are probably sapiosexuals. I know someone with this and one day a guy approached her and was talking to her and then he just suddenly says "she's probably loose" and majority of the women would get offended by this statement because it's misogynistic but she was more disgusted by the fact that he was stupid enough to think that a vagina could be loose, she is a medical student and so she basically gave him a 2 hour lecture explaining the structure of the vagina and how it works, it was.... funny...and sad.
Venus atmakaraka in 5th house - you are so lucky if you have this placement (if not aspected by saturn) you are literally supposed to have fun in this life. You can be good at all things that require creativity; painting, acting, singing, directing, etc. This is also an indicator of your first child being a girl, she would be very beautiful, and even if it's a boy, he would be more pretty than handsome. If venus is also the 7th Lord, then your spouse can be really good looking as well. But if venus is weak, then you can be superficial, and can also have the tendency to go for himbos/bimbos. I don't really have a lot to say about this placement, I mean.. Just have fun guys, do whatever makes you happy.
Mars atmakaraka in 5th house - you guys would be the type of parents who want their kids to excel in every single sport. You can have be good at technical things, like technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science and stuff. With this placement, conjunctions matter a lot, I know a girl with this who has her Mars AK in 5th conjunct venus and she's a ballet dancer, which requires streghth and creativity. I also know another girl with Mars AK in 5th conjunct Mercury and she's a lawyer and a pretty good one at that. You are more likely to pursue technical education if Mars is alone. You will be the parent who wins all the parent marathon and dance competitions. The type of parent to bully their kid's bully, and act oblivious afterwards.
Jupiter atmakaraka in 5th house - you will be blessed with all the things that 5th house represents, this placement also indicates having A LOT of kids (if jupiter isn't retrograde) they can be biological or adopted, doesn't matter. I have noticed that most of the time your parents are the ones who motivate you to study and encourage you to go to college and pursue higher education. You will also have to travel for higher education, it can be outside of your state, country, or continent. If you decide to have a child, then they will make you feel very happy and you can start earning more money after the birth of your first child, you will also be able to start your own business.
Saturn atmakaraka in 5th house - there can be a delay in childbirth and education. It can take you longer than others to complete your education. You are also someone who doesn't know how to enjoy, you can be very awkward in social situations. I have noticed that a lot of people with this, are those class monitors who are like, "if I see you talking again, then I will write your name on the board", this can also be one of the reasons why your classmates don't like you very much. This placement is easier to deal with if saturn is in conjunction with venus or Mercury, as this can make people see you as someone who is disciplined but also knows when to let loose.

10 facts about Saturn in Astrology
Sometimes you wonder why your life is so difficult when you seem to be doing everything properly. This is what the planet Saturn is supposed to do for you. It deals with discipline, challenges, delays, obligations, dealings, and occasionally denials.
It wants you to put in a lot of effort, work hard, and learn from your mistakes so that when you do experience success, it can still keep you grounded and modest despite your abundance of knowledge. As a result, Saturn is a stern instructor who is austere but just for the sake of the pupil.
In terms of astrology, Saturn is associated with discipline, karma, hardwork, patience, time management, and meeting deadlines while keeping the constraints in mind. Saturn, however, couldn't be categorised as a bad planet because of the way it can turn rags into gold.
But, it requires you to be brave even under the most trying circumstances. In Vedic astrology, Saturn is also associated with the aged, with the grace of old age, with traditions, with established ways of doing things, and with authority. It rewards you for tenacity and penalises you for impatience and shortcuts.
Saturn Astronomical Information The Sun is the largest planet in the solar system, with Saturn coming in second. 1.35 billion kilometres separate this ringed planet from the sun (closest distance). It rotates once every 10 hours and 40 minutes and takes approximately 29.5 years to complete one revolution around the sun.
Saturn has 62 satellites, similar to how Earth has the Moon as its satellite. Moreover, it makes an annual appearance in retrograde for about 135 days.
Saturn travels through the zodiac in around 30 years and spends about 2.5 years in each sign.
Essential Details about Saturn Transit in each sign 2.5 years Direction West Metal Iron Gem Blue Sapphire Day Saturday Color Blue Temperament Strict, Sorrowful Gender Male Ruling Body Part Legs, nervous system, chronic diseases Status in Imperial Stars Advisor Friends Mercury, Venus Enemies Sun, Moon, Mars Neutral Jupiter Own Sign Capricorn, Aquarius Exalted in Libra Debilitated in Aries Mool Trikon Aquarius Mahadasha Period 19 Years Relation Servants and Elderly People Professions Mining, labor, oil, petroleum, agriculture, freezing, coal, leather goods, butchery, lead, blue sapphire.
Significance of Saturn in Vedic astrology
As a result of our past life karma, Saturn places restrictions and pain on us. By doing this, it enables us to identify our flaws and shortcomings, make adjustments, and finally accept responsibility.
According to Vedic astrology, the region of life where a person may struggle is determined by where Saturn is positioned in the horoscope. Yet, the strength of the sign in the horoscope indicates whether the individual will be resilient enough to face challenges or prone to breakdowns.
Strong Saturns in the horoscope are typically hard workers who may labour nonstop to achieve their objectives. Also, these people have a stronger feeling of duty and loyalty. They take a structured approach to life, are rather sombre, and are rigorous by nature.
When Saturn is afflicted, it indicates that person's inability to handle problems in life. Such people's escapist inclinations make matters worse because Saturn wants you to work hard.
In rare situations, a weak Saturn in the horoscope can result in mental anguish, aloofness in personality, addictions, and even chronic illnesses. If you give up and succumb to shortcuts to avoid suffering, problems could get worse.
The greatest solution is to lead a disciplined lifestyle and put in a lot of effort, which will eventually lead to purification and the pursuit of one's true self. The consequences of a Saturn affliction last for a very long time because Saturn is a sluggish planet. Once the moment of tenacity and laboriousness is over, there there will be rewards both in spiritual as well as other sense.
Top 10 Saturn Facts As well as being a beauty, the ringed wonder is also a fascinating world.
Saturn has 62 confirmed moons.
The planet is tilted on its axis by 26.7° and therefore has seasons. Each lasts just over seven years because Saturn takes 29.45 years to orbit the Sun.
Saturn is a gas giant planet; it is mainly made up of hydrogen and helium. It's thought that a rocky core exists at its centre.
On average, Saturn is 9.5 times farther from the Sun than Earth is.
Each day on Saturn is only 10.55 hours long. This means that there are 24,470 Saturnian days in one Saturnian year — that's a lot of sunrises and sunsets!
Saturn is slightly flattened: its equatorial diameter is 120,536km while its polar diameter is 108,728km. You could fit 9.5 Earths across its disc.
The ring system out to the A ring is 273,550km wide, but only 1km thick.
Saturn is a windy planet, with gusts measured by Voyager at 1,800km/h.
Titan, Saturn's largest moon, has a nitrogen atmosphere and liquid lakes of methane on its surface.
Roughly every 30 years, a great white storm appears in Saturn's northern hemisphere.

Which Astrological Remedies Can Help in Early Marriage?
Marriage is a big step in life, but delays can bring frustration and worry for some. Astrology can explain why there might be delays and suggest ways to encourage an earlier marriage. Let’s look at what signs in a horoscope can show a delayed marriage, reasons for the delay, favourable combinations that support early marriage, the best timing to marriage, and effective remedies based on zodiac signs.
Signs of Delay in Marriage in Your Horoscope
Certain planets in a horoscope may show delays in marriage, such as:
Saturn’s Influence: Saturn is known for causing delays. It may delay marriage if it’s in the 7th house (the marriage house) or affects this house.
Problems in the 7th House: If Saturn, Mars, or Rahu trouble the 7th house or its ruling planet, it can lead to delays.
Weak Venus or Jupiter: Venus represents love, and Jupiter represents a partner (especially for women). Marriage may be delayed if either weak or in a difficult position.
Manglik Dosha: When Mars is in certain houses, such as the 1st,4th,7th, 8th, and 12th, it forms Manglik Dosha, which can delay marriage or cause relationship issues.
Reasons for Marriage Delay
Common astrological reasons for delay in marriage include:
Karmic Influences: Saturn is a planet related to karma and may delay marriage due to unresolved past life issues.
7th House Problems: If Rahu or Ketu affects the 7th house or its ruling planet, it can create obstacles in marriage.
Weak Venus or Jupiter: Marriage prospects may suffer if Venus or Jupiter is weak.
Planetary Periods (Dasha): Timing in marriage is also influenced by planetary periods. Marriage can be delayed if a favourable period like Venus or Jupiter is missing.
Combinations for Early Marriage in Your Birth Chart
Some planetary combinations are believed to support early marriage: Venus or Jupiter in the 7th House: When Venus or Jupiter is in the 7th house, it often brings early marriage.
Benefic Aspects on the 7th House: Early marriage is possible if planets like the Moon or Mercury are in or influencing the 7th house.
Strong Ascendant (Lagna): A strong ascendant or its ruling planet can support timely marriage.
When is Early Marriage Favorable?
The best time for marriage depends on favourable planetary periods (Dasha), especially Venus or Jupiter’s Mahadasha. An astrology consultation can help find this time, along with horoscope matching to ensure compatibility for a happy marriage.
Remedies for Early Marriage Based on Zodiac Sign
Here are some simple remedies for each zodiac sign 2025 that may help in bringing early marriage:
Aries: Recite Hanuman Chalisa and offer sweets to Lord Hanuman on Tuesdays.
Taurus: Consider wearing a diamond or white sapphire (consult an astrologer) and fast on Fridays.
Gemini: Chant Mercury’s mantra and wear green on Wednesdays.
Cancer: Worship Lord Shiva and pour milk over a Shivling regularly.
Leo: Recite the Sun’s mantra and offer water to the Sun every morning.
Virgo: Fast on Wednesdays and gift green bangles to unmarried girls.
Libra: Do remedies for Venus and wear white on Fridays.
Scorpio: Chant Mars mantras and visit Hanuman temples on Tuesdays.
Sagittarius: Worship Lord Vishnu and offer yellow flowers on Thursdays.
Capricorn: Donate black items on Saturdays and pray to Lord Hanuman.
Aquarius: Chant Saturn’s mantra and wear black or dark blue on Saturdays.
Pisces: Worship Lord Vishnu and donate yellow food on Thursdays.
For best results, consult an astrologer for personalized remedies. These practices can help overcome delays and open doors for a harmonious marriage.

Understanding Navagraha Samithu: The Key to Balancing Planetary Energies
In Vedic astrology, the nine planets, known as Navagrahas, are believed to have a profound influence on our lives. These celestial bodies govern various aspects of our fate, personality, health, and success. To mitigate the negative effects of planetary positions and enhance the positive, rituals like the Navagraha Samithu are performed. In this blog, we explore the significance of Navagraha Samithu and how it helps in balancing planetary energies to bring harmony into your life.
What is Navagraha Samithu? Navagraha Samithu is a sacred offering or ritual performed to appease the nine planets in Hindu astrology – Sun (Surya), Moon (Chandra), Mars (Mangal), Mercury (Budh), Jupiter (Guru), Venus (Shukra), Saturn (Shani), Rahu, and Ketu. Each of these planets is believed to exert a specific influence on an individual's life depending on their position in the horoscope.
When the planets are not in favorable positions, individuals may face obstacles, health issues, financial problems, or relationship turmoil. The Navagraha Samithu is a potent remedy that helps in reducing these negative influences and balancing the planetary energies for personal growth and well-being.
The Importance of Balancing Planetary Energies: Every planet has a distinct role in shaping our lives. For instance:
Surya (Sun) governs authority, health, and career.
Chandra (Moon) influences emotions and mental peace.
Mangal (Mars) is linked with courage, energy, and aggression.
Budh (Mercury) represents intellect, communication, and decision-making.
Guru (Jupiter) brings wisdom, wealth, and spiritual growth.
Shukra (Venus) relates to love, beauty, and luxury.
Shani (Saturn) tests patience, hard work, and discipline.
Rahu governs materialistic pursuits and ambition.
Ketu is associated with spiritual enlightenment and detachment.
When these planets are out of alignment in your horoscope, they can create doshas or afflictions, resulting in challenges in different areas of life. Navagraha Samithu is designed to balance these energies and neutralize negative planetary influences.
How is Navagraha Samithu Performed? Performing the Navagraha Samithu requires following a specific set of rituals. It often begins with a purification process, followed by chanting of Navagraha mantras, offering specific items to each planet, and conducting homams (fire rituals) to invoke their blessings. The offerings usually include items such as grains, flowers, specific colors, and metals associated with each planet.
An experienced astrologer or priest performs the ritual, ensuring that the individual’s horoscope is properly analyzed to understand which planet needs attention. Through these rituals, the planets are appeased, reducing their negative influence and enhancing their positive impact on the individual’s life.
Benefits of Performing Navagraha Samithu:
Remedy for Doshas: Navagraha Samithu acts as a powerful tool to remove or minimize planetary doshas like Shani Dosha, Mangal Dosha, and Rahu-Ketu Dosha, which may be responsible for problems in career, relationships, or health.
Improves Mental Peace: By balancing the energies of the Moon and Mercury, the Samithu can help in improving emotional stability and mental clarity.
Enhances Career and Wealth: Appeasing the Sun, Jupiter, and Venus brings prosperity, professional success, and financial growth.
Strengthens Health: Weak planetary influences affecting health can be strengthened through Navagraha Samithu, ensuring physical well-being and vitality.
Spiritual Growth: This ritual can also help in attaining spiritual balance and inner harmony by working with the energies of Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu.
When Should Navagraha Samithu Be Performed? This ritual can be performed on auspicious days, preferably during planetary transits, or when major planetary periods (Mahadasha) and sub-periods (Antardasha) are causing significant challenges in an individual’s life. Consulting with a knowledgeable astrologer is essential to determine the most beneficial time for conducting this ritual.
Conclusion: The Navagraha Samithu is a powerful remedy to bring balance and harmony by appeasing the nine planets that influence your life. Whether you are facing personal, financial, health, or relationship issues, this ritual can be a key to unlocking positive energies and reducing the obstacles posed by unfavorable planetary positions. If you feel the impact of the planets in your life, performing the Navagraha Samithu under the guidance of an expert can lead to transformative changes.

How does this Mahadasha Calculator work?
A Mahadasha calculator is a tool used in Vedic astrology to determine the current or upcoming planetary period (Mahadasha) for an individual based on their birth chart (natal chart). In Vedic astrology, a person's life is divided into specific periods, each ruled by one of the nine planets (including the North Node and South Node of the Moon, known as Rahu and Ketu).
Here's how a Mahadasha calculator typically works:
Birth Information: You start by providing your birth date, time, and place of birth. This information is crucial for accurately calculating your birth chart and Mahadasha periods.
Calculation of Natal Chart: The Mahadasha calculator uses the provided birth information to calculate your natal chart. This chart is a graphical representation of the positions of the planets, stars, and celestial bodies at the time of your birth.
Determining Mahadasha Period: Based on your natal chart, the calculator determines which planet is currently ruling your life as per the Mahadasha system. The Mahadasha periods are assigned in a specific sequence: Sun, Moon, Mars, Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Ketu, and Venus. Each Mahadasha period typically lasts for a fixed number of years, which can vary from person to person.
Displaying Results: The calculator then displays the details of your current Mahadasha period, including the ruling planet, the duration of the period, and the influence it may have on various aspects of your life. This information is interpreted based on Vedic astrology principles and can provide insights into career, relationships, health, and other life events.
Antardasha and Pratyantar Dasha: In addition to the main Mahadasha period, Vedic astrology also considers sub-periods called "Antardasha" and further sub-periods known as "Pratyantar Dasha." These are calculated and displayed by the Mahadasha calculator to provide more detailed insights into specific time periods within the main Mahadasha.
It's important to note that Vedic astrology and Mahadasha calculations are based on ancient astrological principles and beliefs. Interpretations and predictions made using these systems should be taken as one perspective and not as absolute truths. Different astrologers may have varying interpretations of Mahadasha periods, and the accuracy of predictions can vary widely.
Before using a Mahadasha calculator, You can learn about mahadasha calculator at astrology-seek.com. It's essential to understand that astrology, including Vedic astrology, is considered a pseudoscience by the scientific community, and its efficacy is a matter of personal belief. If you choose to explore astrology, it should be approached with an open but critical mind.

What are Dashas in Astrology?
Introduction to Dashas – Meaning and its Significance in Astrology
September 25, 2019 by Team Jothishi
Astrology attempts to study the movements and the positions of celestial bodies and the effect they have on terrestrial events, including human life. Astrology takes various factors into account to arrive at specific conclusions. It includes several belief systems, often not compatible with the scientific method, that claim planetary positions have a direct influence on human lives. Additionally, dashas assume a pivotal role in the study of astrology.
An Introduction to Dashas
Dashas play an important role in astrology and affect several events in an individual’s lifetime. If astrology is the way to analyze the effects of planetary positions, then Dashas are the way to know when the effects will take place. In other words, Dashas include the transit, the ruling, periods of planets and heavenly bodies.
There are several instances where contradictory indications occur where there are opposing forces influencing the birth chart. The Dashas will help you determine when each incident will occur. Dashas are the systems astrologers use for determining the time of potential fruitful and unproductive events in various aspects of life.
Popularity of Dashas
Among several Dasha systems, Vimshottari Dasha is the most significant one with nakshatra-based foundation. This popular Dasha system incorporates Nakshatras to determine the beginning of Dasha cycle. It’s also one of the types of Mahadasha that includes Antar dasha, Pratyantar dasha, Sookshma dasha, and Pran dasha.
While determining an individual’s birth chart, it’s important to note the movement of each planet through Antra Dasha in the period of Mahadasha. Dashas in Astrology claim that every planet gives distinct results based on the Dasha or the Antar Dasha. These include auspicious and inauspicious results based on the positions in the period of Mahadasha.
Mahadasha and Dasha Bhukti
To start with, every Mahadasha is further divided into a planetary period called Dasha Bhukti Period. Here is the list of the duration of each planet during its Mahadasha:
Sun for 6 years
Moon for 10 years
Mars for 7 years
Rahu for 18 years
Jupiter for 16 years
Saturn for 19 years
Mercury for 17 years
Ketu for 7 years
Venus for 2 years
In these years of Mahadasha, that happen to be different Dashas in Astrology, every prime planet can also observe the Dashas of other planets. This is specifically called Antar Dasha. The prime planet, with the Lord of Antar Dasha, give their effects. Taking these readings into account, you can arrive at specific auspicious and inauspicious incidents. Inauspicious results are the effects of the Antar Dasha of a malefic planet combining with the Mahadasha of the prime planet. Likewise, auspicious results are the results of Mahadasha of the prime planet meeting an auspicious planet in Antar Dasha.
Due to the transition period, when Dashas change, there will be major shifts in energy, resulting in a sudden change in someone’s behavior. This can be observed in advance by studying the preceding Bhukti period.
More About Dasha Bhukti
We already know what Mahadasha means and its divisions called Dasha Bhukti. Going further, it’s important to notice that last Bhukti of each Mahadasha is the opening phase or the transition time for the next Mahadasha to begin. This means the last Bhukti of a planet and the combination with the upcoming planet will have different effects depending on the planets in focus at that time.
There will be varying effects of Antar Dasha for each Mahadasha that depends on the strength of the Dasha Lord. Their relationship is very similar to that of a driver and his vehicle. This means, Mahadasha is the vehicle and Antar Dasha is the driver. For the vehicle to cruise well, the driver should drive and also control the vehicle properly. There will always be some limitations in the vehicle though.
Every Antar Dasha is again divided into Paryantra Dashas that follow the Mahadasha with identical order and in proportional length.
Vimshottari Dasha System
The introduction to dashas includes Vimshottari Dasha that follows a 120-year cycle and, for this reason, an individual cannot experience the Mahadashas of all the planets. The effects of a Dasha an individual experiences depends on the number of degrees the moon has travelled in the Nakshatra. According to this calculation, the first Dasha diminishes proportionately.
The Final Word
Taking an Introduction to Dashas is the first step for learning a simple and practical approach to Vedic Astrology. While studying the Dashas and their effects, Nakshatra is the prime factor to determine the Lord of the Dasha. If these two are compatible with each other, the results will also be positive.

Adoption & Astrology
Those who know me know i've been interested in the topic of adoption since i was very young, so it's no surprise that when i got into astrology i was interested in looking at several things related to it. mainly i wanted to know why i was so interested in this topic, and then how would this show up in the charts of people who had been adopted. this is not a full study as of yet because i'm still finding stuff related to it while doing other types of research, but so far what i have gathered is the following:
in a little sample study of 88 adopted children it was found that the most common moon placement was libra moon, particularly in 4H. unsurprisingly, taurus moon, the exaltation point of moon, was found to be the least common! when it comes to aspects, they found the conjunction, square, or opposition of sun and moon are very common, followed by uranus conjunct moon, then uranus conjunct ascendant and mars conjunct pluto are the absolute highest placed aspects. not surprising either that those aspect can signify extreme changes, unexpected events, and transit in which moon, as the natural significator of home and family, are not in great shape... Interestingly, though, after noticing this i've also noticed these patterns in the charts of people who were not adoptees but did have difficult relationship with their immediate family. even for people with libra moons that i've talked with they all expressed some type of disconnected feeling from their parents, or being raised by other family members, even sometimes living far away from their parents for some part of their formative years. while researching this from a vedic point of view i found astrologer joni patry, who said jupiter, karaka of children in vedic astrology, placed in 5H (also associated with children) could very much mean the person either will not want kids or maybe just won’t have them... however i found something interesting: jupiter in retrograde in 5H could override this prediction, as it's often the case with natal retrograde planets, and be indicative of becoming a parent specifically through adoption. furthermore, looks like any planet in retrograde that’s in 5H could show the person being interested in adoption from a young age! now in vedic astrology there's certain nakshatras and planets that could show this interest in having children by non-biological means, such as rohini nakshatra being associated with surrogacy and fostering of other's children because of her relation to krishna, who was born under the influence of rohini and raised by surrogate parents. once again, though, jupiter is brought up in the themes of adoption and surrogacy! following the myth of how chandra (the moon) seduced tara (guru/jupiter’s wife) resulting in the birth of budh (mercury) whom guru (jupiter) chose to accept as his own son when tara returned. after finding this myth and this information provided by joni patry, personally i would go ahead and say that while any planet in retrograde could mean the native will be interested in adoption, jupiter and mercury could show the strongest desires to adopt more so if they're aspected by or conjunct moon in 5H. also worth talking about how anuradha sharda, when talking about prashna kundali (horary astrology) mentions looking at the following in the rashi chart (d1): lagna, 8H+8HL, 10H+10HL, saturn; not as indicators of adoptions, but to see if this wish will be fulfilled. a particularly well placed saturn + strong 10H would mean there’s good karma to be fulfilled between you and this child you’re trying to adopt, and that it would probably go well! however it’s still important to check the whole chart to make sure, maybe even creating a composite chart of the parents and the child(ren). another interesting house to look into when talking about this topic is the 11H. this house traditionally rules adoption, so it maybe can give you insight on the child you may adopt. interestingly kapiel raj also mentioned the time during jupiter mahadasha or the mahadasha of the 5HL or 11HL between ages 18 to 42, could also be indicative of *when* you’re having children/becoming a parent. so once again we can see how jupiter is tied to parenthood and how it became the karaka of children.
as i've mentioned earlier i'm still not done doing research on this topic and will be updating this post in the future when i find more information. i'm also planning on analysing the charts of some of clients who were adopted as children or who have adopted siblings to gain some "everyday" insights on how all this information plays out (or doesn't play out at all!). any questions you may have on this topic, feel free to submit them and i'll try to help you!

WHY I DONOT HAVE JOB SATISFACTION AS PER ASTROLOGY, A CASE STUDY
The native in question donot have satisfactory career and so he wanted to know why as per vedic astrology, as he has inspite of moon and Jupiter in Kendra.
Based on the given birth details DOB 15-08-1987 at 3:56 AM in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India and the analysis is done as per KP vedic astrology padhatti / system.
The plotted horoscope shows karkat lagna / cancer ascendant with sun mercury n venus in 1st house, mars in 2nd house, ketu in 3rd house, Saturn in 5th house, rahu in 9th house and Jupiter n moon in 10th house.
The moon is in ashwini nakshatra in mesh rashi / moon in aries sign and the current ruling mahadasha is moon.
In order to learn why the native has unsatisfactory job, one need to study the 6th and 10th cuspal sublord. The current ruling mahadasha will let us know how the dasa lords are giving its effect on the career of the native and many more events in the life of the native during its ruling period.
From the horoscope the 6th cuspal sublord is venus and its strongly signifying 1 and 11th house as its untenanted in the planet level, mercury strongly signifying 1,4 and 12th house as it is in own nakshatra in the nakshatra level and rahu strongly signifying 2,5,6,9 and 10th house as its untenanted in the sublord level.
Venus is in conjunction with sun signifying 2 and 3rd house.
Venus is in conjunction with mercury signifying 1,4 and 12th house.
Mercury is in conjunction with venus signifying 1 and 11th house.
Mercury is in conjunction with sun signifying 2 and 3rd house.
The 10th cuspal sublord is Saturn and its signifying 5,7,8 and 9th house in the planet level, mercury strongly signifying 1,4 and 12th house as it is in own nakshatra in the nakshatra level and venus strongly signifying 1 and 11th house as its untenanted in the sublord level.
Mercury is in conjunction with venus signifying 1 and 11th house.
Mercury is in conjunction with sun signifying 2 and 3rd house.
Venus is in conjunction with sun signifying 2 and 3rd house.
Venus is in conjunction with mercury signifying 1,4 and 12th house.
The current ruling mahadasha is moon and its strongly signifying 1,2 and 10th house as its untenanted in the planet level, ketu signifying 1,3,4 and 12th house in the nakshatra level and Saturn signifying 5,7,8 and 9th house in the sublord level.
Moon is in conjunction with Jupiter signifying 6 and 10th house.
From the analysis I conclude that the native will NOT HAVE A SATISFACTORY CAREER as it is not promised in his horoscope.
A planet can only give good result when it signify good and favorable houses for that event. Here in the native’s horoscope few planets are not favoring the career event and so he is not experiencing the feel of satisfaction in his career.

Do you think dasha periods can be applied to d9?
Interpreting Dasha Periods for D1 chart with help of D9 chart
Yes, in a sense that you should always view D1 planets through the prism of linking them with their D9 counterparts. So for each Dasha period, even Antardasha if you want to be thorough, look at the planet's position both in D1 and D9.
There is no point in looking at Antardasha with just D9 separately, divisional charts are interpreted in context of D1. I sometimes answer people's questions about just D9, because I assume people looked into their D1 already, and when I give them extra context on D9, they will understand the underlying energy better by mixing what I said about their D9 with what they already know about themselves. But in a private reading, I would always look at both charts simultaneously, that's the purpose of divisionals.
To put this in perspective for you, I understood my Saturn Mahadasha so much better after I looked also at Saturn in D9. I will give you my conclusions, hopefully it will help you synthesize your own chart.
My Saturn Mahadasha started when I was only 1 month old and it lasted till I was 20 (bye bye Jupiter Mahadasha for this incarnation lol). My D1 Saturn is in Capricorn in the 4th house in Moon ruled Shravana, squaring the Vishakha Lagna, my Saturn in D9 is in Ardra Gemini in the 3rd, closely conjunct Venus and squaring Rahu in Revati in 12th and Ketu in 6th in Hasta. Until I analysed this connection, I never understood why my earlier life was so focused on intellectual education and academic performance, the bulk of it being always oriented towards foreign languages.
Shravana is a Nakshatra of emotional devotion, the 4th house is about a personal spiritual safety point that we all carry inside, that is also shaped by our heritage and ancestry. Forced devotion towards my family and their way of approaching things, even if their values differed from mine, was the main theme of my life this entire time. But nothing in my D1 Saturn position spoke about academic performance. Everything in my D9 Saturn however, does. Ardra is a very intellectual Nakshatra, being influenced by both Rahu and Gemini energies, the 3rd house is the house of self-made intellectual efforts, the aspect of Venus gave me a balanced education. Ketu in Hasta in 6th is all about mastering one's past life gift for intellectual and academic problem solving, and applying it towards expansion through study of foreign languages (12th house). My whole childhood my family always kept telling me "make sure you are well educated, so that you can expand your horizons beyond what we had and you don't have to struggle with money the way we always did, you are super smart, you should use it to get a good degree and emigrate".
While I always agreed on wanting to go further than my family has in life, I was unclear on how I should do it since I was so young and wanted to find myself. Because of Saturn's pressure however, I felt like no one asked me if mainstream education is what I actually wanted. I expressed interest in a whole bunch of creative pursuits when I was a kid. I always wanted to play an instrument, go to dance class, and all my interests outside of my family's expectations were dismissed as not practical and "too expensive". Funnily enough, already in primary school I expressed interest in palmistry due to my born interest in esoteric and spirituality, but since I was 11 at the time, I had nothing to say. I remember this planetary period as being really largely stuck inside my head, focusing on my individual efforts, obeying as much as I was forced to, and just endlessly expanding intellectually. I had many awards at school and always entered the best schools based on my academic performance, and I got used to the fact that working hard for everything brings best results.
When my Saturn Mahadasha ended and Mercury Mahadasha started, all of this simply stopped working for me. I was a University student at a time, and I only got my degree out of sheer practicality, since I figured I should finish what I started, and to get my family off my back. However, it was painful to do it the entire time, as it simply felt wrong. That is because my Mercury is in Anuradha, which is a Nakshatra of fulfilling one's heart's desire. Being in the 2nd house, I wanted my own stability, without having to rely on my family forcing me to do things.
The problematic part is that my Mercury in D9 is in Vishakha 7th house, squaring my Moon Mars conjunction in Ashlesha in 4th. Unlike the 3rd house of self-made effort, the 7th house doesn't support going at anything alone. This whole time, I found myself disillusioned with my family, ultimately detaching from them emotionally and trying to instead find other people that I could cooperate with. It is a sad reality of this planet, that noone can survive alone, and god knows I tried. My Mercury Mahadasha is still ongoing, and this entire time I have been doing my best to fill my life with the right partnerships for me. Mostly with people who are weirdos, social outcasts or occult/astrology fans themselves. That is because both Vishakha and Ashlesha are outcaste Nakshatras, pointing towards non-mainstream environments. Which essentially forced me to release my authentic weirdness, and find an environment where I can be myself, as opposed to doing someone else's bidding.
Sadly, while trying to find that freedom and stability I never had, I had a very limited choice of people, and even those people over time were not compatible with me, and I found myself burning through so many friends and acquaintances, most of which were simply not in synch with me at best, or just didn't treat me well at worst, all in an effort to have anything that would be right for me. Compared to a 3rd house D9 influence, 7th house D9 influence is much more difficult, and being forced to rely on people for stability, when it's hard to find anyone trustworthy has not been fun. 7th house influence even through D9 creates a dependency in what you can accomplish for yourself, based on people you interact with. That's frustrating especially when you have 7th house as a resource to support a 2nd house dasha. The key is to choose best and do best with what you have in front of you, depending on what's available. Ultimately, we all depend on others in this life, for better or for worse. It just has been a time when I learned this the hard way, and I hope for payoff, since there have to be SOME good connections existing for me on this entire planet, 7 billion people and all. We all incarnate with the right people and things available to us somewhere, I would say I have become an expert at discriminating what I want for myself by now lol
You can see through this example, how D1 describes the main "goal" of the Mahadasha, but the D9 shows how exactly the goal is going to be achieved.

The Black Swan Strikes Again
And it’s not over yet!
Not by a long shot!
Expect another shift starting on Sunday or early next week.
So let’s start off with Trump since he is POTUS. The above shows transits from Tuesday, 29 September, when Saturn went direct after being retrograde since May. (Inner square is his chart, outer square shows the transits.)
Saturn stationed at 1:11 Capricorn directly opposite his natal Saturn, which is at 00:42 Cancer, and his natal Venus at 2:38 Cancer.
Saturn rules his 6th and 7th houses. Venus rules his 10th house/career. Both Saturn & Venus are in his 12th house. (Leo ascendant with Mars in 1st house.)
Jupiter is transiting Sagittarius currently. (You can see it in the bottom left-hand corner.)
Because Jupiter is aspecting Leo, Trump’s ascendant, via its trinal aspect (5th & 9th houses from where Jupiter is placed) until November 20th, I don’t think Trump is at risk of dying before the election. I suspect he’ll be fine. When Jupiter moves into Capricorn on November, then Jupiter will be aspecting Taurus, where Trump’s natal Sun is placed. Sun rules Leo, so this can still protect him. I still believe that Trump will finish out his term, which will end on 20 January 2021 at noon.
Back to Saturn stationing at 1:11 Capricorn, which as I just mentioned is directly across from Trump’s natal Venus. Venus is the indicator of marriage and wife. Saturn’s stationing across from his natal Venus probably isn’t a good sign for Melania. As I mentioned with Jill Biden earlier this year, Pluto stationed at 0:51 Capricorn on 26 April 2020. That’s within a degree and a half opposite Trump’s Venus. Likely Melania will probably be more impacted by the coronavirus. At least within the next few months.
There is a total solar eclipse that happens on Trump’s natal Moon within a couple of degrees on 14 December 2020. Hard to say exactly at this moment what that could portend. The Moon rules Trump’s 12th house and is an indicator of the mind, mother, the public in general, and females. By that time I believe he will already have lost the election. Not entirely sure that the eclipse is specific to Trump’s personal life or the country (USA) in general since he is the chief executive (President). Perhaps it’s both. We’ll probably have an idea of what is likely to happen by the time we get to the end of November and beginning of December.
I don’t normally like to talk about minor’s (kid’s) charts, but I think it’s important to take a look in this case. Barron Trump--the youngest Trump kid at age 14--is now running his Mercury mahadasha/time period. Mercury is placed in Purva Bhadrapada nakshatra/lunar mansion. One of the symbols of Purva Bhadrapada is a funeral cot. (Purva Bhadrapada is the front legs of a funeral cot while Uttara Bhadrapada symbolizes the back legs of a funeral cot.) The funeral cot is, obviously, a symbol of death and that life is temporary.
Barron started his Mercury-Mercury period on 26 December 2019. There is also a lunar eclipse in his 4th house/Taurus on 30 November 2020. His natal Mars isn’t specifically eclipsed this time. However, given that it’s happening in the 4th house and there are some not-so-good transits happening to Trump’s natal Venus, I do suspect something will probably happen to Melania. Perhaps she may end up becoming seriously ill with covid. I’ll be honest, it doesn’t look particularly good because Barron has his Venus, which is lord of his 4th house/mother, in the 12th house of loss. Also, his natal Moon, the indicator of mother, is in Scorpio, its sign of debilitation.
Honestly, given the current news and events, I feel bad for the kid. He may lose his mom within a year, and then he’ll probably lose his father a year or two after that. Or sooner. Regardless of what you think of the Trumps, Barron is a 14-year-old kid who may lose one or both his parents within the next couple years. Or sooner.
Moving on to the Bidens.
Yes, I know their current test results are negative. However, false negatives have a higher rate in the first few days of infection. If that changes in a couple days, such as Sunday or Monday, don’t be surprised.
We’re going to start with Jill Biden.
Now, Jill Biden has the same exact problem with her natal Venus that I described with Trump above. Her natal Venus is in the range of 2:29 to 03:31 Cancer. We don’t know the exact degree because we don’t know her birth time, which is why the time is listed as 12:00 (noon).
Just to recap, Jill had Pluto station within three degrees of her natal Venus this May. Given Joe Biden’s age, this is not a good sign. Pluto, signifier of transformation & transubstantiation, is commonly known as the lord of death. Saturn just stationed at 1:11 Capricorn on Tuesday, 29 September, opposite her natal Venus. Saturn isn’t the most positive planet to have station opposite the planet that signifies marriage (Venus). Something happening to Jill’s marriage partner within one year of Pluto stationing opposite that natal Venus is completely possible and--given Joe Biden’s age & condition--likely. Pluto made that station while going retrograde on 26 April 2020. IF Joe Biden passes away before 26 April 2021, I will not be surprised.
These are Joe’s transits from Tuesday (29 Sept), which is why the Moon is in Aquarius. (Transits are in the outer layer.)
Joe Biden is a Scorpio ascendant, which means his ascendant lord is Mars. Mars is currently retrograde in Aries. Mars will move back into Pisces on Sunday. This Sunday, October 4th. That is significant because currently Jupiter is aspecting Mars in Aries. (I noted “Jupiter” in every sign that it is aspecting from Sagittarius.) Jupiter is currently protecting Joe Biden. That’s going to change on Sunday when the transits look more like this.
Mars will move into the last degrees of Pisces starting Sunday, just after midnight EDT. Mars will be in an unfortunate position called gandanta. “Gandanta” means “knot’s end” but is associated with drowning, either metaphoric or literal. The first 3:20 of fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) and the last 3:20 of water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) are gandanta areas. Gandanta in a water sign tends to be more significant, particularly with “drowning.” Last degree of water sign tends to be the worst though.
Starting Sunday, Joe Biden’s ascendant lord Mars will be gandanta and not protected by an aspect of Jupiter. That’s why I’m not confident in the Bidens’ currently negative coronavirus tests that are making the rounds. Things are probably going to change next week.
These are transits to the USA’s chart. Shit might hit the fan Monday morning, so to speak, when the Moon moves into Taurus, which is occupied by Rahu (north node of the Moon). Likely this will agitate things. Totally expect cable news to be going batshit crazy next week. Moon won’t move into Gemini until around midnight Wednesday night/Thursday morning.
However, to me one of the more significant things is that both the USA’s ascendant (Sagittarius) and the USA’s natal Moon in Aquarius will be hemmed in by malefic planets. This is called papa kartari yoga. Basically, think of it like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Fenced in is another way to think about it. It doesn’t make things impossible, but it’s going to suck for awhile until things change. It requires more effort to be positive and do positive action. The USA’s natal Moon is hemmed in by Mars in Pisces and Saturn in Capricorn. Sagittarius is hemmed in by Saturn in Capricorn and Ketu (south node of the Moon) in Scorpio.
The papa kartari yoga won’t be broken until Venus moves into Scorpio in the afternoon of Thursday, 10 December. We will have a nice Venus transit in Libra before that, but still, by the time we get to 10 December, we’ll be in the middle of the last eclipse season of the year.
Batten down the hatches, y’all. Crazy times and The Long Night of the USA are upon us.

Sun in Astrology & Sun in various houses
Sun in Astrology
Sun is a luminary, a star that shines bright enough to light the whole world. Without its heat and light, we are nothing but an ice-ball. Sun is what makes things up; it is the life giving force. Its energy is profound, and decides whether you become a radiant smiling face or hide behind the clouds of ego and aggression. Sun in Vedic astrology represents the Soul. It is the representation of your outer self, of how you project yourself to the world and what makes you stand apart from the rest. It is the crux of one’s identity and how it is preserved. It is the courage and confidence you employ to fight off the everyday challenges.

Significance of Sun in Vedic astrology
Sun in Vedic astrology occupies the position of king due to being at the center of it all. Being our natural father, it stands for all the masculine influences in one’s life including Father, husband, and male children. It is the king so represents authority and relation with government too. While Sun represents our innermost self - the soul, we as individuals tend to only manifest the outer self or ego. It gives the natives the ability to lead, desire to earn name and fame, an ambitious attitude, optimism, and a strong will to tackle challenges effectively.
Sun in astrology is also considered to have a regal air so it rules royalty, state and the higher positions as well. It also signifies good health, vitality and wellbeing. A strong Sun in horoscope indicates a person with leadership qualities. Such a person usually enjoys a higher position in society and shares a cordial relationship with father. Native with positively placed Sun is also dependable, generous, and mature.
This fiery planet can be detrimental to health if negatively placed causing baldness, headaches, weak eyesight, blood circulation related problems, bone weakness, and heart problems. A weak Sun in horoscope can also affect one’s relation with father or cause problem to father. Natives with weak Sun usually suffer from low stamina, self-esteem, and indecisiveness. Too strong Sun can result in a domineering or aggressive personality. Such a person may be self-centered and someone who always seeks to be at the center of all action.

Understanding Mahadasha
UNDERSTANDING MAHADASHA
******************************************
( This is a research post so read it carefully and try to understand it. If you know basics of KP system, you will understand more clearly )
What is Mahadasha ? Mahadasha means Moon's progress journey through a star or nakshatra after birth.
In Vimshottari mahadasha total 120 years are allotted between 9 Nakshatras. For example, Ketu dasha is of 7 years. What does that mean ? That means Moon will cross Ashwini Magha and Mool Nakshatras in just 7 years. Venus dasha is of 20 years so Moon will take 20 years to cross Bharani, Purva Phalguni and Purva Shadha. This way Moon will take 120 years to cross 9 nakshatras.
Every Nakshatra is divided in 9 parts and the length of each part is fixed as per the length of the mahadasha. Sun mahadasha is the shortest of 6 years so Sun part is the smallest in each Nakshatra. Venus dasha is longest of 20 years so Venus part is the longest in all Nakshatras. The Nakshatra lord is the owner of first part in all the Nakshatras. If it is Ashwini then first part will be of Ketu. If Bharni nakshatra then first part will be of Venus. Ketu, Venus, Sun, Moon, Mars, Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury is the order.
Now suppose at birth time Moon is at Aries Sign 17°13'. This means that Moon is in Bharani Nakshatra which starts from 13°20' and ends at 26°40' in Aries Sign. At 17°13' it is Moon part of Venus Nakshatra. (You can well understand if you know KP system. If you don't know please check KP Tables chart to understand this post well. ).
Here I have a question but I don't know the answer. In mahadasha equal years are alloted to a planet in all his owned nakshatras. Suppose Moon Dasha is of 10 years so moon will take 10 years to pass through Rohini Hasta and Shravana. Is this means that all these 3 nakshatras are of same length ? Obviously it is not possible astronomically. Same way why Moon is passing through Sun's nakshatras so fast just in 6 years and Venus nakshatras in 20 years ? So something is missing or I don't know the reason. But we will accept !!
Now let us focus on the main topic. My concern is to locate the Moon's position at particular mahadasha and antardasha and know the results of Moon's progressed degree as we see in progressed chart in western astrology.
We have to see whether Progressed Moon is in Conjunction, Opposition, Trine, Square or Semi sextile with any beneficial or malefic planet in the natal chart. Also we have to watch the transits and aspects of benefic and malefic planets on this progressed Moon as per vedic system and modify the results of mahadasha antardasha accordingly. Will explain with one example.
( Male chart. Date of Birth 16.05.1972 16.54 Hours Ahmedabad )
Marriage on 08.12.1995 ( Dasha Saturn /Mercury when Progressed Moon was at 5°26' to 7°20' in Cancer as per KP tables)
Purchase of new flat on 21.05.2008 ( Saturn/ Jupiter when Progressed Moon was at 14°53' to 16°40' Cancer )
Promotion in MNC job 17.08.2016 (Mercury/Sun when Moon was progressed at 21°33' to 22°13' Cancer )
Lagna Libra 2°, Sun Taurus 2° (8),
Moon Gemini 18° (9 ), Mars Gemini 9° (9), Mercury. Aries 12° (7), Jupiter Sagittarius 14° (3), Venus Gemini 9° (9), Saturn Taurus 14°(8) Rahu Capricorn 6° (4), Ketu Cancer 6° (10) Uranus Virgo 21°(12) Neptune Scorpio 10° (2)
Research is my subject. I tried to justify these 3 major events through Dasha Antardasha but not satisfied. See postmortem is very easy to justify any event but prediction is hard. I applied this progressed Moon theory one day and was really surprised and was satisfied too.
Let us understand the chart above. When he got married his Moon had progressed to 6 degrees in Cancer as per Saturn/Mercury dasha. Now Ketu is seated at 6 degree in Cancer. Rahu Ketu has past life karmik relations and marriage is also a karmik binding. So this event was destined at that time.
When he purchased flat he was running Saturn/Jupiter so as per KP tables Moon was reached at 14 degrees Cancer in 10th. Saturn is at 14 degree in 8th and aspecting 10th house. Saturn also is lord of 4th (property) so when Moon touched the 14th degree of Cancer, the semi sextile (60°) relation with natal Saturn at 14 degree was created. Also on that date Mars, the ruler of property was at 12° Cancer so very close conjunction with this Moon at 14°. He got property.
He got unexpected promotion in his MNC job with high package when he entered Mercury/Sun dasha when Moon has reached to 21 degree Cancer as per KP tables. See this 21° Moon is now in exact Semi sextile (60°) with 21° Uranus in 12th. We all know that Uranus always gives unexpected results in progressed chart.
I hope these 3 important events are enough to explain my concept. We have to watch the position of progressed Moon as per Dasha antardasha in KP tables and see the aspects with natal Planets as well as transiting planets with this Moon. I remember one case when a native lost his mother when Saturn in transit was on the same degree of progressed Moon.
Moon while in such dasha progress crosses or in exact degreecal trine to Saturn in Cancer Leo and Pisces Ascendant natives, the time frame of that antardasha proves to be most negative, depressed and natives faces deaths of their relatives. The same way when such Moon crosses or in exact degreecal trine to Saturn in Aries Gemini Capricorn and Aquarius Ascendant people, this time frame proves to be a good progressive and also spiritual period. For Taurus and Libra Ascendant people, this is one of the best dasha period.
Same way watch the antardasha period crossing and in exact degreecal trine to Sun Jupiter and Venus like planets. It will also be a noticeable dasha period depends upon the Ascendant.
Also watch the transits from this progressed Moon as if it is a Lagna degree and you will find amazing results. I have tested this but can't narrate all examples in one Post.
Astrology is like an Ocean and we have to explore so many unknown areas of predictions to unfold the future events.
