was a little jealous of the egg bc fan was a WAY better father figure than cobs-

NEEDS schedules, if something goes off schedule he'll get upset

genuinely doesn't understand how to act "normally" around people, and especially doesn't know how to make friends

dyslexic, GAD and autistic

massive fear of blood, like he feels sick whenever he sees it bc he's not used to seeing it at all

all mephones files are keyboard smashes or dumb phrases

feels so awkward holding a regular sized phone, he doesnt know wether it's like holding a figurine of yourself of holding a baby

speaking of babies he has no clue how that shi works, for a while he assumed that everyone else was ALSO artificially made until mepad informed him they arent, but when he inquired further mepad just laughed and shook his head, to this day mephone still doesnt know

he also doesnt know how to take care of a baby, or a child, since he basically is a child-

used to stim (autistic ass /j), doesnt anymore bc cobs always told him to stop (grrrr i hate corn)

has trouble putting his feelings into words/telling people how he feels (eg, "i feel sad" or "im doing good!") since he doesn't even understand 90% of his emotions anyway

This dynamic makes me AOUGHHH. I will say after the show ended I haven't thought too much about them, aside from the passing "thank fuck they're free," but I feel like this isn't quite it.

As an angst lover, tearing these too apart would be, a chef's estranged kiss, but as I break down what 3gs is saying here. I just can't help but feel like it wouldn't stay like this. At some point, maybe between learning what Mephone has done and everything, 3gs might feel this way. The anger of being forever in the mental shadow of someone who could be considered worse than you is real...They're both technically pretty fuckin bad now that think about it. One aided in colonizing and destabilising a whole society and the other created and traumatized like 30 people. Both are pretty bad.

I love this and hate this dynamic for them- I love the meeple plot point so much you don't understand oh my fuckign god

random age hc ramble time ..!!! yay!!!

i like to think theres two age “factors” that a mephone (technically all meeplings but i like the phones the most. 💔) has, technical and . like. mental?

technical age corresponds with when their apple equivalent release date (since they’re the same? im guessing idk), so like 3GS is 15, 4 is 14, etc. basically how old their body/hardware is. shrugs!!!

mental is how long they were/have been like, active. but it’s odd ??? i need to flesh this out more but sometimes they have a “set” age at first 🤨 like 5S and 5C wouldn’t be super young mentally (i see them as like a middle aged married couple HELPP) but like idek how that’d work LMFAO

but the main example !! this is how i see 4 being the “older brother” role, because he’s been active for much longer (3GS would be younger despite being technically older due to. being. you know. shut down in the closet)

I hc mephone4 is very insecure about his higher emotional drive compared to mepad. The fact that the one he saved ends up taking care of him daily is an ego hit, and causes old wounds to open up.
