We were recently in China researching the re-urbanization process that is happening across the country. This is Huaxi Village. What was once a small rural town, is now the number 1 village in China with 5 firms and producing 50 Billion RMB revenue in 2010. 50 years ago, Mr. Wu one of the villagers, foresaw great change coming and started to build what you see today. After 2001, Huaxi annexed 12 nearby villages to become one, helping ensure the positive impact of what was to come would benefit the majority.
