hey. im all for adhd and autism headcanons but have you considered….

mental illnesses like bpd, did, schizophrenia, npd, depression, ocd, etc. that are nearly always over exaggerated in media. (hint for hc-ing with these: we’re pretty much the same as everyone else)

canes, wheelchairs, crutches, really ANY mobility aids. spice things up in fandom!!! able-bodied people aren’t the only ones worthy of blorbo-ification!!!

knee/elbow/ankle braces, compression gloves, athletic tape, etc. joints amiright

Into what a group of psychiatrists proven to not know what the fuck theyre talking about (being unable to diagnose bpd and npd without a gender bias, creating a mental illness literally characterized by. not conforming, historically creating "mental illnesses" that are just "women are crazy bitches disorder", creating "mental illnesses" that are just "black people wanting to escape slavery disorder", creating "disorders" that are just "autistic people functional enough we dont have to sterilize them disorder", creating "mental illnesses" that are just "gay people are actually just sociologically disturbed disorder", considering having dysphoria as necessary criteria for being trans, having no fucking clue and consistently misdiagnosing bpd for autism or cptsd and vice versa, using cluster B personality disorders as proof an individual is dangerous and shoving it into their permanent records to bar them from a shitton of legal rights, considering cluster B disorders and especially bpd's desires for validation as just the evil and malicious version of the less problematic GAD desire for validation, constantly underdiagnosing forms of neurodivergencies especially adhd and asd specifically because of changes in criteria and views of the disorders, implementing bpd as a diagnosis in the dsm in the same year hysteria was removed, constantly misunderstanding DID to the point of creating a whole other diagnosis, OSDD, to signify "fuck all else we cant categorize as neat DID",) dictate and regulate what the concept of identity is.

You might as well be trusting philosophers at this point, except theyre the ones theorizing about the id, ego, and superego, while the APA is officially considering equally subjective concepts as diagnostic criteria . When the DSM changes the criteria of being plural to include endogenic systems and headmates, like they've drastically changed multiple diagnoses' criteria (such as PTSD, CPTSD, schizophrenia, etc), will anti endos really consider that objective proof their hatred is misdirected, or will it just reveal their biases and terror at being considered a shameful identity? At regulating how seriously people have to take them by using the DSM's criteria as a ruleset for how real systems operate? Will they stop harassing other people based on how they experience their own identities in earnest and good faith? Be so fucking honest with yourself, you sound like transmedicalists whining about transtrenders.

I don’t usually take requests because I came back to writing in order to let my AuDHD run wild like a toddler with a pair of scissors, completely unbound by earthly restraints. However, I do take suggestions, if you’d like to send one in my Asks.

Pen name and meaning: Tsukime Fuku or Fuku-Chan. I wanted something to resemble the owl I feel like, most of the time (I have terrible sleeping issues). Fukurou (梟) in Japanese means Owl, so I just decided to shorten it in katakana (フク). I wrote Tsukime in kanji (疲明) mixing up the gloomy and tired aspect from “Tsuki” with the bright one from “Me”. I’m a tired, gloomy, somewhat optimistic millenial owl.

My letters from the LGBTQIAP+ community: B for kissing multiple genders and A for demisexual (I can’t spell, sorry). Also, I’ve got a wife.

Where I’m from: A country well known for being God's wild random sandbox experiment 🇧🇷 For that reason, English is not my native language (you can communicate with me in Portuguese, Spanish and English. If by any chance you say something in Italian, please make it three-year-old friendly).

My writing process goes about like this: I get an idea. It plagues my every waking moment. If I don't write it, I realistically believe it might consume me into oblivion. So I write. Should I write because it's fun? Sure. Do I write to quench the thirst for dopamine of my inner demons (that have many voices, one of them is Carol)? Absolutely.

I got diagnosed with ADHD in my early 20's, and autism in my late 20's. These were definitely my roaring 20's, and we don't talk about it.

I try to be a kind person when I can. As a lady in her late 20's with some life and trauma experience involving mental illnesses, addiction, grief, and much more, you can always DM me if by any chance you need to talk about anything. I don't bite (much).

I realized I've been chatting with an online acquaintance that lives with a 12+ hour difference. That's how fucked my sleep schedule is — you can't fuck up your sleep schedule if you have none, amiright?

I need a soundtrack for everything I'm doing. It makes talking to people in real life very difficult.

I never know what day of the month it is. It's led me to receive happy birthday's unannounced and feel very confused at the people congratulating me on "my special day". I had done nothing special. It made no sense.

I tend to write very fast. It's the monkey's fault.

My most unpopular opinion: HIMYM ending was the correct choice, and made perfect sense for Ted and Robin.

My favorite quotes in English are the ending to The Great Gatsby (“so we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past”) and a tidbit from Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest (“Truth is rarely pure and never simple”).

My favorite poem of all time is "Tabacaria" by Fernando Pessoa.

Something you’ll NEVER see me writing in love stories is romanticized jealousy and possessiveness. Everyone has their thing, but that’s really not mine, and I don’t enjoy writing it. When I DO write about jealousy, I like to explore the underlying insecurity and pain behind it.
