Sobre os pronomes They/Them

AVISO: Esta é apenas a minha opinião, se não concorda, tudo bem, apenas não me ataque por isso e a arte abaixo não é minha, apenas encontrei ela no Pinterest, então créditos ao seu devido criador

Ultimamente eu tenho pensado bastante sobre os personagens que usam os pronomes They/Them, como os personagens de Cookie Run (principalmente os dragões que são mais populares, mas também existe outros personagens que usam pronome neutro como Cream Unicorn Cookie), ainda mais pelo fato de que não tem pronomes neutros oficiais na língua portuguesa (apesar do Elu/Delu existir aqui, ele não é oficial e eu não me sinto obrigada a usá-lo)

Por isso, eu pensei numa solução que talvez funcione, que é usar qualquer pronome pra tal personagem, que vai depender de sua preferência

Exemplo: Se você é brasileiro e prefere chamar Lotus Dragon Cookie de Ela/Dela, tudo bem, mas se prefere chamar como Ele/Dele ou até Elu/Delu, está tudo bem também, é apenas a sua preferência

Mas isso só pode ser usado para línguas onde NÃO tem um pronome neutro oficial, caso a sua língua tenha pronome neutro oficial (Como a língua inglesa, com o They/Them), use eles, como forma de respeito aos pronomes do personagem

Tanto que, nas versões inglesas que eu faço do meus próprios posts, pros personagens que usam pronomes neutros, eu ainda permanecerei usando o pronome neutro para eles

This is one of my favorite Spectrobes in the series, Zaza themselves are really cute, and their evolution line is one of the best in my opinion.

Fun fact, this line is one of the two evolution lines where we see sexual dimorphism, a.k.a. different designs based on gender.

Esta es una de mis Spectrobes favoritas de toda la serie, las Zaza se me hacen muy tiernas y su línea evolutiva es una de las mejor diseñadas en mi opinión.

Como dato curioso, esa es una de las dos líneas evolutivas donde se ven dimorfismo sexual, es decir que el diseño es diferente dependiendo de si son machos o hembras.

Zazane They see her rollin’ They hatin’! Actually I hope not because I really like her! I was already a fan of the original Zozane design, and the female version looks great as well!

No Adverturer's Bible é dito que os gêmeos Floke estão atualmente estudando a língua comum. Eu me pergunto se isso significa que eles não dominam o idioma (o que poderia até explicar os dois falarem tão pouco) ou que apenas se interessam na área mesmo e querem estudar... Não lembro se os gnomos têm um idioma prório e também não sabemos se os gêmeos, antes de serem acolhidos pelos Floke, falavam uma língua diferente da comum

Eu ja tinha notado essa parte mas nunca parei pra pensar por que eles tão estudando common, sabemos que os gnomos tem ao menos escrita diferenciada que nem elfos e anões então creio que eles também tem a propria linguagem falada (aqui um post que tem exemplos)

E o Kuro também ta estudando a lingua comum para poder falar com Mickbell. Eu não acho que os gemeos tariam estudando comum academicamente ja que não é mecionado nada do tipo? Só consigo imaginar que é similar ao Kuro então.

Acho que eles deviam falar uma lingua diferente e terem aprendido gnomish em vez e common quando foram adotados? Pelos extras a gente vê que eles realmente cresceram rodeados de outros gnomos, e a Dungeon que eles tão estudando agora na ilha existe a pouco tempo, vai ver por isso estão estudando comum agora?

Aqui diz que eles começaram a acompanhar os Floke depois de adulto, que é 16 para tallmen, então como eles tem 20 aninhos devem ta acompanhando eles a só 4 anos, vai ver começaram a estudar por isso?

Tudo especulação claro, fora essa partezinha eu não lembro de ser mencionado mais das origens deles antes da taverna

I had already noticed that part, but I never stopped to think about why they're studying Common. We know that gnomes have at least a different writing style, just like elves and dwarves, so I think they also have their own language (here's a post with examples).

Kuro is also studying the Common language so he can talk to Mickbell. I don't think the twins would be studying Common academically, since nothing like that is mentioned? So I can only imagine that it's similar to Kuro. I think they must have spoken a different language, and learned Gnomish instead of Common after they were adopted?

From the extras, we can see that they really grew up surrounded by other gnomes, and the Dungeon they're studying on the island now has only been around for a short time. Maybe that's why they're studying Common now?

It says here that they started accompanying the Flokes after they became adults, which is 16yo for tall men, so since they are 20 they must have been going with them for only 4 years, maybe that's why they started studying?

All speculation, of course. Apart from that little section, I don't remember any other mentions of their origins before the tavern.

🇺🇸 Part of chapter 13: Buying flowers

“Oh! You’re Sonic, right?” she asked, eyes lighting up with recognition. “Are the flowers for Amy? How is she doing?”

Sonic stiffened. “Uh… yeah. She’s stable.”

“I’m glad to hear that!” she said sincerely. “Do you know her favorite flowers?”

Sonic blinked. Her favorite flowers? He turned to the vast display of bouquets, his eyes darting between them. So many colors, shapes, scents. Did Amy even have a favorite? Had she ever mentioned it? He thought.

Tails quickly picked up on his dilemma and stepped in. “What about roses?”

Sonic glanced at him, then nodded, though his expression was mixed with disappointment.

“Perfect choice!” the florist said enthusiastically. “And what’s her favorite color?”

Sonic froze. That should have been an easier question. But for some reason, his mind was blank. Pink? Red? Blue? He had never really paid attention.

Tails, ever the lifesaver, stepped in again. “What about one of each color?”

The florist noticed Sonic’s hesitation and softened her tone. “That’s a lovely idea! I’ll prepare the bouquet right away.”

Sonic received the flowers, but as they left the shop, his steps grew slower until he finally stopped walking.

“¡Ah! Eres Sonic, ¿verdad?”, preguntó, con los ojos iluminados al reconocerlo. ¿Son flores para Amy? ¿Cómo está ella?

Sonic se puso rígido. "Eh... sí. Está estable".

"¡Me alegra oír eso!", dijo con sinceridad. "¿Sabes cuáles son sus flores favoritas?"

Sonic parpadeó. ¿Sus flores favoritas? Se giró hacia el vasto despliegue de ramos, con la mirada moviéndose rápidamente entre ellos. Tantos colores, formas, aromas. ¿Acaso Amy tenía alguna favorita? ¿Alguna vez lo había mencionado? Pensó.

Tails rápidamente captó su dilema e intervino. "¿Qué tal rosas?"

Sonic lo miró y asintió, aunque su expresión estaba mezclada con decepción.

"¡Perfecta elección!", dijo la florista con entusiasmo. "¿Y cuál es su color favorito?"

Sonic se quedó paralizado. Debería haber sido una pregunta aún más fácil de responder. Pero por alguna razón, tenía la mente en blanco. ¿Rosa? ¿Rojo? ¿Azul? Nunca le había prestado atención.

Tails, siempre a su rescate, intervino de nuevo. "¿Qué tal una de cada color?"

La florista notó la vacilación de Sonic y suavizó el tono. "¡Qué idea tan bonita! Prepararé el ramo enseguida".

Sonic recibió las flores, pero al salir de la tienda, sus pasos se hicieron más lentos hasta que finalmente se detuvo.

Yes… I know I already made a post yesterday but… I just can't help it—tomorrow I’ll finally post the first two pages of Ecos de Umbra! Yey! 🥳

So I couldn’t hold back my excitement and wanted to share something today as well, especially since I just finished page 03. There's something I’m really enjoying about this process: each page has a completely different color palette. To show what I mean, here are images of one panel per page, along with their corresponding palettes.

It's not only about showing different places or moments—it's about using color as a tool to convey emotion and contrast. I think I’ve mentioned it before, but I try to take a lot of inspiration from Skydoll in terms of color, because I absolutely love what Barbara Canepa does with her palettes. Hopefully someday I’ll reach that level! But that’s part of why I started this fancomic: to practice while keeping things fun and motivating. 💜

I’m also including a test page here. It doesn’t belong to any specific moment in the story, so it has no dialogue. You’ll recognize her, but maybe not him… and honestly I’m not even sure if he’ll appear or not, because even though I have most of the plot in my head, things keep evolving as I work on them.

Looking at this first test page compared to the ones in Ecos de Umbra, I feel like I’m improving little by little. 😊

I really hope you’re just as excited as I am to see Ecos de Umbra tomorrow! I hope you enjoy it. ❤️

Si… ya sé que ayer ya hice una publicación pero es que… ¡Por fin mañana público las dos primeras páginas de Ecos de Umbra! ¡Yey! 

Así que no he podido contener la emoción de publicar algo hoy también, por que además, he terminado la página 03 y quería mostraros una cosa que me está pareciendo muy divertida de hacer y es que, cada página tiene una paleta de color completamente distinta. Y para muestra las imágenes de una viñeta de cada página con su correspondiente paleta de color. Ya no es solo por el momento y el lugar, si no que creo que es la mejor forma de transmitir ciertas cosas. Creo que alguna vez ya he mencionado que para el color trato de inspirarme de Skydoll por que amo el color que Barbara Canepa aplica ahí, Ojala llegar algún día a ese nivel. Pero, parte de eso consiste el estar haciendo este fan cómic, practicar sin que se me haga tedioso y con una motivación. 

Tambien adjunto una página de prueba que no pertenece a ningun momento concreto de la historia, de ahí que ni diálogo tenga, con dos oc. A Ella la reconoceréis a él no, y realmente no tengo muy claro si va a salir o no, por que aunque esta todo em mi cabeza, según lo plasmo voy cambiando cosas. 

Sinceramente, comparo esta primera página de prueba con, las de ecos de umbra y creo que estoy mejorando poco a poco. 

¡Espero que tengáis tantas ganas como yo de ver mañana ecos de umbra! Espero que os guste ❤️

Dicho esto ¿aue os parece esta elección de paletas de color por ahora? ¿Que creéis que está pasando?¿O de que va a tratar la historia? 👀

Lo he mencionado varias veces, he salido con personas que a la vista superficial de algunos lo categorizarían como "feos" soy algo sapiosexual así que la personalidad y naturaleza de alguien son factores más relevantes para mi que su apariencia, aunque no te voy a negar que el físico también me atrae pero no de la misma manera, por ejemplo, me atrae que alguien se cuide, que procure verse limpio, que huela rico, que esté presentable, ya si es gordo, flaco, alto, bajito, me es indiferente, si cuida de su salud y se ama, es suficiente para mi. 😉😘
