“I’m wearing burgundy leather loafers (my favorite style of shoe), striped wide leg trousers that I accidentally spilled bleach on but ended up making a tie dye effect I now love. A multicolor abstract stripe turtleneck that I believe was originally a discarded sample I got when I was working in fabric and textile recycling. A vintage leather trench left behind by a former roommate. The 70s are probably my favorite era so it always makes me feel like I’m in Super Fly haha. I’m Caribbean but grew up in CT so I’m inspired by the clash of those cultures. The bold color, confidence and inventiveness of island dressing mixed with the austerity of prep culture. My personal style philosophy is BCS…always have something Bold, Commanding and Seductive.”
