Behind the Bastards: just finished up the three part series on Steve Jobs.

Astonishing Legends: I re-listen to their Mothman series at least once a year. Most recently I did The Lost City of Akakor with Kinga Phillips. (I'm convinced Tatunca Nara was just a serial killer, if anyone wishes to discuss.)

The Cryptonaut Podcast: I'm part of their Patron and was a member of their Discord until I deleted my account. Currently going back through old Patreon episodes, but do love their series on the Varginha Incident, and again their deep dive into the Mothman (and the slow erosion of Rob's sanity as that series went on.)

Citation Needed: Action Park episode is the best thing. Today's episode was on the Dutch East India Company.

It Could Happen Here: podcast about things falling apart. I normally just listen to the compilation episodes on the weekends while I'm driving to and from work.

Pure Dog Talk with Laura Reeves: what it says on the tin. Purebred dog fancy, training, showing, health, etc. Sometimes they do dives on specific breeds. One of my favorites was on the Norbottenspets, because I've taken several classes from the breeder they had on and she's very sweet.

i wanna talk about this more on here because ohohohohoh. ohohohoh

its getting increasingly common to see ai art in place of covers or visuals. specifically from the artists i named, lsdream used ai visuals at lostlands and probably more since then, and marshmello used ai visuals in the svddendeath/marshmello set at redrocks (at the very least he used them one time, but there were other times it was very very possible the visuals were ai.)

this, while i dont draw very often, is so fucking dissapointing. both of them make amazing music!! like i loved lsdreams stuff, and the mellodeath set was very fun but. holy shit. the more i see ai cover art and visuals the more i want to fucking scream. i dont see any other people getting mad about this or talking about it in the edm community either, which fucking just,,,, man,,,,,,,

The last time Marshmello and SVDDEN DEATH teamed up was for “Sell Out,” nearly a year ago today. Now they’re back with their next fiery collab, “Crusade.”

MELLODEATH combine for a true combination of sounds and styles, with the sweet melodies and synths of Marshmello shining through in between the caustic and deadly bass of SVDDEN DEATH. The first drop pushes more of the melody, while the second is entirely more abrasive — but it a good way.

No doubt fans of both artists will be headbanging when this one gets thrown into sets. You can check it out below.

OHHHHHH I was actually on a trip last month so this is fitting (LAST MONTH dear god it only feels like it's been two weeks I miss Chicago and Mellodeath so badly I SHOULD GO TO MORE CONCERTS I'll rant about that in another post)

Mr. Puzzles - Hasn't traveled much, but is absolutely ECSTATIC at the idea of going to big cities. That's where they film all the big shows!!! We're both extremely bad at planning though, so we have to drag someone else along that actually knows what they're doing. Most of the time when we travel it's for a concert, so he tries to enjoy ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING IN THE CITY ALL HE CAN before it actually starts. We gotta be there as early as possible to beat the line BUT ALSO ENJOY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND VISIT ALL THE PLACES THEY FILMED THE STUFF

Ghostface - Of course he's an expert at travel and planning, he's been to New York before! Out of all my f/o's, he's probably the best at planning everything. Though he can get a little too serious, he's so busy planning out what order we'll see the landmarks in he forgets to actually enjoy them. But hey, I'm there to drag him out of all that and start messing around :]

Vox - "OH YEAH I'VE GOT THIS!" *doesn't actually know what he's doing*

I love him and all but for the love of god do NOT give him the wheel his GPS WILL miscalculate and get us lost. He's good with money though, he can find us the best place to stay that doesn't rob our wallets or give us diseases. When we actually get there he’ll start taking photos of himself at every slightly photogenic thing and I have to remind him to actually enjoy the scenery lolz. Also souvenir buying is a MUST

V - Good at planning the route, bad at actually getting us there. Normally she’d just fly there, but when luggage and other people are involved, it becomes a problem. So we have no choice but to drive there but NEITHER OF US ARE GOOD AT IT (I’m better at it but I can’t handle longer distances), so we just. Drag someone else along. As for when we actually get there, she will have NO IDEA where she is going or what we’ll do so she’ll just awkwardly follow me the whole time (unless it’s a theme park, then she’ll gravitate to every intense ride and drag me along)

Marsha - Contrary to popular opinion, she doesn’t travel outside our town all that much. Reason being, she’d hate for her trip to get rudely interrupted by being pulled into another match. We have to meticulously schedule our trips just so we can enjoy them to the max. And it’s a good thing we live in a state where there’s a bunch of cities and theme parks I’ve been to SO MANY of them. We try to get front seat on everything and try to get photos with every mascot character we come across. One time she got overexcited at seeing the Hershey mascot and almost tackled the poor guy-

How are you and your F/O(s) with traveling? Is one excited? Is one really bad at handling travel? What shenanigans do yall get up to or how does one try to comfort the other till it's over and done with?
