The young girl smiled at the sight of a well-done haircut and makeup that perfectly matched her hair color, and then quickly found your person to show off your new image; she was always curious about your reaction. Unfortunately, you were standing a few meters from Gumi, very interested in new boots, clothes and jewelry; you wanted to find something perfect for today’s afternoon music show, something that will make fans smile and your employer happy.

“...Y/N, Y/N~!” You heard suddenly, and literally a short second later you felt the weight of a small teenager on your back. “Do you have something nice for me?” Seven years younger idol asked curiously, and you just smiled under your breath. Since you started working with the ever-smiling star, you felt parental feelings towards her.

“Gumi, if you keep amusing me like this, I’ll never find you a perfect outfit for today’s performance...” You said shaking your head and the girl just laughed. “I was thinking about mid-thigh pants and a green T-shirt. It will match well with a long jacket with copper buttons and low-heeled shoes. What do you think?”

“Ahh, Y/N-chan always chooses such pretty clothes for me... I like it!”

“I am very happy then.” You said with a slight smile and only then did Gumi pull away from you, thanking you for the clothes and modest accessories in the form of a silver necklace and a few (also silver) rings.

After all, as soon as the singer dressed in a new outfit, you corrected the last imperfections like the crumpled fabric on the jacket or the tangled curls on the back of her head. These are the words that you anxiously repeated to yourself, as you fiddled with your fingers, foot tapping on the ground. This is fine, you are fine, everything will be okay.

Usually, repeating these words over and over would be able to ease your troubled mind in the end. But today, something felt different. It was harder to just casually meander your thoughts away. They stayed, they stayed swimming in circles in the depths of your brain, and they were not leaving.

You put your head down, resting it in between your legs. It wasn’t long before, unwillingly, the tears started to come. Just a few drops, sliding down your face. While it wasn’t a lot, it was enough, and you begun to quietly sob, doing your best to tune out everything around you.

Until.

“𝐘/𝐍?”

You didn’t move from your position. You recognized that voice, yes, but even the sound of her wasn’t enough to ease you.

“Y/N, are you alright?” she continued, and you lifted your head slightly, turning it to face your girlfriend, Meiko. Under any other circumstances, you’d be delighted to see her, but now all you wanted to do was crawl into a ball and sink down into the floor.

“Y/N…” Meiko trailed off, moving to sit next to you. She reached out a hand to grasp yours, but you shoved it away, a single tear rolling down your face. Her own face shifted with understanding, and she sat herself slightly away from you, but still fixing you with a worried glance.

“Mei-chan,” you began, then shuddered. “I -“

You wanted to talk to her, you really did. But the words, they just were not coming out. Meiko gave a small nod, as if she understood what you were trying to say without you having to make a sound.

It was moments like these where you realized just how much you truly did appreciate Meiko. While she put up a stubborn, strict exterior around others, she cared, so, so much. And you found yourself moving closer to her, close enough for her to wrap her arms around you and pull you close.

And there you two were, laced together, silent.

“I will tell you,” you spoke up quietly. “Later. Just -“

You nodded, and she pressed her head to yours.

With a frustrated sigh, you slammed your bedroom door and flopped down in your bed. It was so exhausting taking care of everyone else around you, and getting nothing in return. Of course you aren’t some selfish person who always expects compensation, but it would be nice if someone cared for you in return. As those thoughts swam in your head, a bright light went off in your phone. Lo and behold, Kaito made an appearance. Perhaps he sensed that something was wrong.

His usual cheerful demeanor dropped at seeing your tired state. “What’s wrong?” He asked in a soft voice, taking a seat next to your sprawled out body.

“Just…” you let out a groan as you started spilling everything that bothered you, like a volcano finally erupting.

Realizing you rambled more than you meant to, you gave a sheepish look to the vocaloid “Sorry… I didn’t mean to dump all that on you so suddenly”.

“There’s no need to be sorry, I asked, after all. Besides…” he ran his fingers through your scalp. “I’m here to help you” a warm smile grazed his features, making you smile slightly in return, though it quickly dropped.

“C’mon, where’s that smile?~” he cooed teasingly, poking at your cheek.

You let out an amused snort, playfully swatting at his hand. Suddenly, he scooped you into his lap, cradling you. Your cheeks flared up as bright as Meiko’s outfit.

“Shhh, it’s okay. You’re okay, you’re safe now. I’ll take care of you” he whispered in a sweet voice against your ear, your body practically melting.

Once he saw you more calm and relaxed, a mischievous twinkle flashed across his eyes. “I still wanna see that smile though~” with that, he started to playfully scribble and squeeze along your sides. The sudden touch making you flail with no rhyme or reason.

“Wahahait! Thahat’s not fahair!” you protested lightheartedly, despite you basically leaning towards his touch.

Kaito let out a chuckle of his own, his fingers growing more confident in their touch as he targeted all the spots that made you hysterical. “Please, what’s not fair is if I went tickle tickle tickle~” he playfully whispered against your ear, knowing it was another awfully sensitive spot as you squealed. “Haha, see? Isn’t it better to laugh all your worries away instead of sulking? And that adorable blush really suits you~”.

You let out a giggly whine, hiding your face against Kaito’s chest. Lightly gripping at his coat as you shook in laughter. He was right, laughing certainly was much better than giving into any negative thoughts. Not like you’d say that out loud.

He laughed alongside you, his fingers moving to lightly trace your ears to keep you all giggly and cute. “Even your ears have changed in color, how adorable~”.

You lightly shoved at his chest, a playful gesture, though maybe not a smart move. He gently grabbed your wrist, your palm facing upwards. “Don’t think that I’ve forgotten about these sensitive, little hands of yours~” his fingertips lightly traced the lines along your palm, sending you into a renowned fit of giggles and whatever happy sounds your throat produced against your will.

He nuzzled his head against your face, letting his hair tease the skin of your cheeks and jaw as he kept working his magic on your palm.

Once you were all tickled out, he slowed down to a stop and simply held you in his arms. “You did so well, I’m proud of you” he smiled down at you, placing a kiss on your forehead.

There was a bright, genuine smile on your face, and a dusty, pink color adorned your features. You felt so much more safe and at peace compared to earlier. Safe enough that you dozed off right there in his embrace.

“Sleep well” he softly whispered as to not disturb you, happy seeing you be more like your usual self. You really have been handling yourself well, but now it’s time to let go and relax.

You were a new vocaloid. A character for everyone to love! Well...you have actually been around for a year as of now, but compared to the others, it was quite short. You had always felt a bit left out compared to all the others. But it was alright..you hung out with some of the newer-ish vocaloids like vflower and fuiro. But you had always wanted to meet the older vocaloids like luka, rin, len, meiko, kaito and ESPECIALLY hatsune miku. She was your IDOL. You looked up to her with everything in your heart. You wanted to be just like her one day. And today was the most amazing day of your entire LIFE. Today, crypton decided that you would be in a LIVE concert with HATSUNE MIKU. When you first heard, you had locked yourself in your room and squealed with excitement, already planning for the big day. The day had finally come and you were quite nervous. You REALLY did not want to mess this up. You were pacing around the hallway thinking to yourself. You didn't even notice that vflower was watching you."Are you....ah.......alright?" She inquired with a concerned look. You snap put of your thoughts and look at her. "O-oh YEAH- I mean- yeah...yeah..I'm fine...nothing to worry about here" you say nervously. She sighs. "Kid, is it about the concert?" She asked, not really in a question sort a way though. You look away, not wanting her to know that you were worried. "Kid, listen, you'll be fine. You literally sing for a living. You're not gonna mess up and you know that. You're just getting in on your own head." She says, trying to be reassuring. You take a deep breath and nod. "Right." A few hours pass and it was finally time. Before you knew it, you were on the stage, lots of lights everywhere, on stage and in the crowd. There were so so many people...and...they looked genuinely excited! The concert began as it was supposed to and the two of you were singing! Nothing went wrong! And while singing...she even WINKED at you! You felt butterflies in your stomach. This feeling made you feel funny...but good! And...you weren't really intimidated by her like you used to be...no...you...you wanted to be friends with her! It was an overwhelming urge! After the concert you just had to ask. You approach her. "M-miku?.." you muster out."Yes Y/N?" She smiles. "I-i u-um...i-i wanted to ask if i-i..w-we..IF WE COULD MAYBE POSSIBLY BE FRIENDS?!" You blurt out, now covering your face in anticipation, thinking she'll decline. "Of course we can! You're very fun to sing with hehe" she says. You're eyes sparkle. This was definitely the best day of your life.

Ichika:

There is an incredibly high chance that Ichika heard about you before the two of you even met!

She's probably one of the biggest vocaloid fans out of the entire cast, so the majority of her music taste is vocaloid music

Because of this, she's learned all about different styles and different producers...None of them had ever drawn her in like your music did though!

She would always be checking in to see whenever you would post a new song, and would immediately learn it on her guitar-

When she meets you in person, she thinks you're really awesome! When you reveal that you're one of her favorite producers? She freaks out-

She asks you a ton of questions about all of your songs, and definitely asks for your help in making songs for Leo/Need. She might even ask you to make an appearance!

Minori:

While idol music had always appealed to Minori, she found herself drawn to vocaloid songs after the forming of the Sekai!

It's more likely than not that she'll be drawn to your music if it's similar to idol music, but either way, she really enjoys your style!

She's very curious about the whole process when it comes to making vocaloid songs, she's astonished by the skill you have!

Any time you upload a new song, she'll literally cheer in her room, and probably try to learn the choreography if your songs come with music videos-

She's drawn to you immediately when you both first meet in person, but when you reveal that you're one of her favorite producers, she starts fangirling immediately!

She'll gush about how awesome your music is, and she definitely rambles about you to MMJ! whenever she can-

Kohane:

Kohane never really knew too much about music in general, but vocaloid music was always cool to listen to!

She probably discovered your music through Shiho or An, but either way, she was drawn in almost immediately!

Your style of music was very unique, and she loved to cool down after practices with VBS by listening to your music

There were a lot of times where she brought your songs to the Sekai and asked Meiko to play them on her speakers-

She thinks you're cool when you first meet, if not a little intimidated, and is only in even more awe when you reveal that you're her favorite producer-

She will very sheepishly admit to you that she listens to your music all the time, and asks for any tips you have when it comes to developing a style!

Tsukasa:

While Tsukasa was always more focused on being a star, he found vocaloid music to be a nice genre to listen to!

It was the most ordinary Wednesday in the world – the sun was hidden behind huge clouds, the temperature outside was really tolerable, and you and Meiko finished classes at the University two hours earlier than scheduled (one of the professors canceled the meeting due to troublesome disease). That’s why you and your friend came up with the idea of going to the nearest shopping mall; you both planned to buy a few clothes and trinkets at the drugstore, and at the end go to eat something warm and drink coffee in your favorite coffee shop.

“... What do you think of this dress?” The twenty-year-old asked, spinning around in a knee-length black dress. The small neckline harmonized well with her bust, and the light frill on the skirt perfectly emphasized her figure.

“Oh, wow. Great as always. She will be perfect with that jacket you bought and those black diamond heels you wore at the last party.” You replied, slightly adjusting the bottom of her dress. “What do you think about these pants? Aren’t they too long? Lately I’ve been wearing only skirts... I don’t remember what it’s like to wear pants.”

“Loose, black pants are in vogue lately. Why don’t we buy a belt too, so they fit better on you?”

With a few bags full of shopping, you and Meiko went to the restaurant area of the huge gallery. You debated what to eat for a while, but eventually opted for warm Subway’s sandwiches. Over the meal, you talked about studies, the upcoming exam, but also about health problems, family, holidays, flower care and about the upcoming ‘Barbie’ movie starring Margot Robbie.

Thanks to this, the sandwiches tasted better than normal, and you forgot about all the unpleasantness for a moment, then you threw the garbage into the nearest bin and decided to take a quick walk and stop at a coffee shop.

“... Caramel latte with double syrup?” You asked the brown-haired girl as soon as you crossed the threshold of the smell-filled building.

“Of course. I'll take our seats.” She replied with a slight smile, and you went to the store employee; you ordered your favorite coffees and two pieces of delicious-looking fruit tart. You paid and with a small tray went to your friend sitting by the window.

“Thank you, Y/N. I’ll pay next time.” She bowed slightly, clasping her hands together, then took a sip of the warm coffee. “Delicious as always.”

~ as you're placing the books on the 'drama' aisle, toya walks beside you and places a handfill of books in the same shelf. you turn to look at him, and notice how admirable his grey eyes are, really. as you're lost in thought- meerly daydreaming over here, toya turns his head to look at you.

~ then, a simple phrase comes out of your mouth. "i like you" you don't even realize you say it until you see toyas cheek warm up. he looks like as if he's just seen a ghost, but his eyes then soften up.

~ "yo" akito calls out, gaining the two vocaloids attention. meiko waves, and miku smiles before standing up and making her way over to you both. "hi, akito! and.. you must be..- [name]?" she says. you nod in response, but don't question how she knows your name. "yeah yeah, c'mon" akito says while grabbing your hand and leading you to the counter and sits on the stool.

~ "would you two like anything?" meiko asks, walking over. as you sit down, you nod and request a simple drink. as for akito, he asks for pancakes. meiko smiles and makes her way to the back of the counter and begins to make the items.

~ "hey, akito?" you say to him. "yeah?" "i like you a lot." and in that moment, you see his face practically turn a light pink. he covers his lower face with the back of his palm, and mutter something incoherent. he quickly leans into your face, and lands a kiss to your cheek. "i like you too.."

~ sitting on the rooftop with rui is nice. the setting is warm, followed by a light breeze. he asked if you wanted to hangout with him at the rooftop for a little, in which you happily oblieged.

~ your thoughts differ to the one sat beside you, rui. you never really realized how much you liked him anyways. but now, it struck you like lightning. i mean, he has a nice personality. deep in thought, you hear rui giggle. ~ you and tsukasa stayed behind at PXL to practice for the upcoming show for a little bit. it was tiring, yes, but being with tsukasa made it all worth it in the end. now it being 20 minutes since the rest of the troupe left, you both started packing your stuff to leave.

~ as tsukasa was changing, you were waiting for him outside the stage and sitting in the audience chairs. you thoughts shifted to tsukasa and perfect he was in your eyes. i mean, just look at him. not keeping track of the time, you feel a hand on your own, and turn to your right side and see tsukasa grinning.

~ "you ready?" he asks, standing up. you nod and stand up with him, and begin walking home together. you both lived near each other too, so it was fine. the sun setting sky made a pretty purple-ish ombre in the horizon.

Aquaman 2! I haven't seen the first one but I thought it was really fun. It felt like. It was made for women? Which is a weird thought to have during a film but I noticed the lack of male gaze and was sort of transfixed by that lack.
