My hero academia has had 2 official analysts books on characters in the series. One is the Ultra Archive Book, released in 2016, and the other is the Ultra Analysis Book, released in 2021. Manny of the characters listed get rankings and profiles for themselves, measuring the stats into multiple different categories.

For the Ultra Archive Book the stats are ranked out of 5, with each one being:

Power

Speed

Technique

Intelligence

Cooperativeness

For the Ultra Analysis Book the stats are ranked out of 6, with each one being:

Power

Speed

Technique

Wits (just another way to say intelligence, book just changed it)

A fifth thing that’s now character specific, and is funny for said character.

Now, I decided to only check and complete a tier list of all of the students in UA with a ranking to see their intelligence and their wits. The results may, or may not shock you:

Clarification: This ranks every character here up to season 3 and was released in 2016.

This ranks every character up to season 5-6 and was released in 2021, some characters being added and some placements being changed.

Make of this what you will, as this is all 100% canon and are currently definitive ;)

After finding the boyfriend you've been with since you were at UA cheating, your best girl friend is there for you.

It's angst. A lot of angst with the comfort of friendship mixed in. Not a happy ending, but a hopeful one.

There's an expectation, you see. A way you need to act when something like this happens. Be sad, devastated. But never act on it. Take the high road.

You can't keep it up and you definitely can't stay like this forever.

Listless.

Too catatonic to cry out.

In times like these, ‘the high road’ is the bullshit protecting careless men from the consequences of their own actions.

Peace is no longer an option.

She knows that, taking you out the door to nowhere in particular. The movement picking up in your feet feels more productive than a single word anyone has spoken to you all week.

She'll never pacify you or tell you how to handle your own emotions.

Honestly, your brain is so restless you haven't figured out what to do with yourself yet anyways. Your thoughts are running a mile a minute and they all conflict.

You know everyone is human. Everyone makes mistakes. But that knowledge hangs useless in the back of your mind, as if it's only there to dismiss the pain of your own experience.

This isn't just a mistake, he hurt you.

She listens without dismissal. She's genuinely there for you, not just pacifying your discomfort for the sake of keeping it from spreading.

She lets you feel what you need to.

The days have droned on wearily up to now and no one is quite sure what to say.

Sympathy is your new hello and you hate it.

You're done with the eggshells.

And you've had it with the niceties.

You want to scream and burn bridges.

You want to make him a warning not to fuck with you. You're a force to be reckoned with so why are they all treating you like a stepped on flower? Fragile, pitiful, and quietly falling apart.

She doesn't see you that way.

She's the drop of a roller coaster when you're at a precarious height.

She's the turbulence on a long flight reminding you there's still air beneath your feet, holding you up.

She's there for you in a way no one else knows how to be.

The wind blows across your face and you're running. You sprint so fast your lungs burn and your throat aches.

But for a moment, you forgot to drag it all with you. The look on his face, more concerned with being caught than any pain he'd inflicted upon you. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders. Gently dancing over the place you thought was only yours. The way he said she was just a friend for months and made you look crazy for ever implying otherwise. You couldn't even sleep without the image haunting your dreams, but for the first time in nights it pauses.

Your thin soled shoes weren't made for this. The sting shoots up your shins while you chase her through the vacant parking lot without a single care.

He's probably in her arms tonight. He gets comfort while you're scraping for acceptance.

Some part of you is glad it's not you in his bed anymore, not with who you know he is now.

Your knees give and the cool pavement holds you. She drops down to join you. Gulping your breaths until your heart steadies, then screaming until you giggle and lose your voice entirely.

Nothing can stop this, but it helps.

The thoughts keep hitting you in waves. Just as you make it past one, another fills it's place. And when you think you've found your respite, it all comes flooding back at you.

It'll be a while before you're okay.

She knows that.

And she's here for it. To run with you, sit with you, cry and scream by your side until it is okay.

You won't be alone.

Like, there are so many that seem neurodivergent to point that I wonder if Mr. Horikoshi himself is a lil funky that way…
