underrated funny aspect of gintama is how they just straight up kill people in this show. yeah the anime will censor some of the blood but the people are still getting megakilled. “is it ok to kill other human beings” not even a question raised once in 700+ chapters by the underage naive characters shinpachi just cut off a guy’s arm and gintoki was like awesome job but the guy didn’t bleed out due to powerful cable management

I think my favorite part in video game challenge videos is the beginning where they explain just why whatever criteria they chose is fucking bullshit and sucks to play.

Like a video will be titled like "Can I beat X with ONLY the megakill greatsword?" and then there's a full 5 minutes where they go over how the megakill greatsword is the fucking worst thing ever put in X, it does negative damage, it removes your ability to walk, it can't hit flying enemies and 80% of enemies fly, it fucks your mom

So Elion is a member of the Warlock Council (I've mentioned them briefly. They're the ruling body (officially subservient to the King; technically they're in charge though) that Casimir serves on in the campaign I run).

He used to be a wizard. A very powerful wizard. For a long time. However, his party (and his apprentice) was killed in a tragic event, and after some time wallowing in his grief, he entered a warlock pact in exchange for resurrecting his apprentice (who got like MegaKilled, so normal means Were Not Working).

So where he used to be the world's greatest wizard, he's now just a mid-Warlock. He's quite bitter about it. Especially because he comes from a long line of Very Powerful Wizards, and now he's this boring ass level 14 Warlock.

He's also incredibly old for an elf, pretentious, judgy, and a bit rude. He also is the one that's been helping the party (he teleports them places, he buys them magic items, he gets them jobs, all this).

Half the party hates his guts. The other half is willing to let him do stuff for them. One of them is trying to flirt with him. He's perfect.

i tried playing coteries of new york with darcy as a ventrue but ehhh. i still miss mar quite often and i think her reactions to the situations that crop up often in the vtm setting are more entertaining/interesting... my stupid shimbo chef macgyver who falls in love way too easy bc of the toreador-ness and generally dislikes manipulation / the fact that people keep making her part of their schemes and she has to use her Actually Good intuition/people skills to stop herself from getting megakilled. she's young as far as vampires go, uninterested in politics, and honestly comes off as kinda dumb (and she is, a bit, but smarter in more useful ways than egomaniacs give her credit for) - probably a wonderful target for semi-unwilling recruitment by bigger players, but she doesn't get So involved or So powerful that she goes with her 'employers' when they inevitably fall.

anyway what i'm saying is ex-texan vampire who was a cali transplant for awhile went to visit new york and had a terrible time. and i'll probably play shadows of new york too, soon, so we'll see where that goes.

i think klee as a powerful dps is so funny like she is just like that and i love her. i hope she can megakill soon

i just ascended to wl5 and im so scared (i was wl3 before) like i just did it last night but i got impatient with my awful artifacts and wanted better ones.... i might drop down to wl4 maybe but we'll see how commissions go today to see! until then i will consume the martial artist ones
