Also i find it funny that during lemres's route in puzzle pop, when meena summons an illusion of lemres to distract him, the illusion lemres uses the alt voice. Imagine being lemres and having to fight this scarier version of yourself loll

Japanese gaming websites have released a Summary of Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop's plot

I took the freedom to translate it

Amitie wakes up, feeling like somebody was talking to her in a dream. A strange feeling in her chest, she decides to go on one of her usual walks to clear her head, meets Arle and Carbuncle by the roadside and decides to have a Puyo Battle with them. When she does so, the group suddenly encounters Ringo, who isn't even supposed to be in this world right now. That is when a little creature named "Meena" appears, introducing themself as the "Guide of the Dream Realm", telling them "You are all currently in the Realm of Dreams." After a conversation with Amitie's senior from another school, the Comet Warlock Lemres, Amitie and her friends learn that Meena had, to their delight, apparently just been lent a huge amount of magical power from somebody, but as they are unable to control such power it is possible that the knock-on effect of their actions has caused everyone to become trapped in the realm of dreams. Meena must have a "accomplice" to blame for all this, and by Puyo battling people maybe it will be possible to learn who is acting suspicious enough to be the accomplice in question. The adventure to escape the Realm of Dreams starts here!

New characters as well as characters from multiple generations of Puyo Puyo's history appear as 3D models, telling a fully voiced, completely new story for you to enjoy via Manzai Demos. Further, with small exceptions, every single character has their own story episode to enjoy. By the way, on initial release the story will end on a cliffhanger. Further updates down the line are planned to add the rest of the plot.

Okay so the Puyo Official Twitter account has announced another community livestream, they even made a little video for it. Nothing really of note but developer interviews, online play with viewers, WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!?!
