Nearly read the entire Medoran Chronicles series and can confirm he is THE book boyfriend, (and I’m genuinely in love with him too) and without spoilers or context, I’ll explain.

Firstly, he:

- Made his intentions and feelings clear

- Understood that she couldn’t be in a relationship right now and waited for her, didn’t push or pressure her into anything

- Answered all her weird and random questions without judging her or being suspicious

- Covered for her when she did suspicious things

- Gave her time in private for mourning and being upset

- Scaled the wall around their tower like 500m in the air so he could climb in her window and comfort her

- Stood up to her friend and yelled at him for the rude things he’d been yelling in their argument

- Respected and supported the fact she wasn’t ready to spill her secrets yet to her friends

- Kept her company during this time and ordered food for them to have, so she could still eat without having to face her friends and being uncomfortable.

- Physically comforted her sweetly, but not going over the line

- Planned to make their first kiss as romantic and special as he could

- Never once doubted her or went against her but continually supported her, even when her decisions were hard to understand or questionable

And honestly so many other things I can’t remember, I’ll keep it going
