Say Goodbye to Wrinkles! Mediheal Retinol Collagen Lifting Pads Review
Let's be honest, hitting your thirties can be a wake-up call for your skin. Suddenly, those late nights and laugh lines seem a bit more permanent than you'd like.
For many of us, this is when the search for the best anti-ageing toner pads or retinol wrinkle reducers begins. That's when I discovered Mediheal's Retinol Collagen Lifting Pads.
Mediheal's Retinol Collagen Lifting Pads
Made with a powerful combination of 99% pure retinol and 300 Dalton low-molecular collagen, these Korean toner pads target wrinkles, sagging skin, and fine lines to provide a noticeable lifting effect for a more youthful appearance.
Convenient & Hygienic Toner Pads
Each box comes with 100 hypoallergenic toner pads and a handy pair of tweezers to help you pick them up hygienically. Plus, you get to reuse the box once you’ve finished the toner pads.
Gentle Yet Effective Retinol Treatment
Worried about the potential irritation of retinol? Mediheal's innovative micro-encapsulation method keeps the retinol and collagen safely locked away until they reach your skin.
This targeted delivery system provides deep nourishment without irritation, making these pads perfect even for sensitive skin.
Clinically Proven Results for Firmer Skin
Don't just take my word for it! In clinical tests, these pads showed a whopping 106% improvement in firmness around the cheeks and eye area after just one use. Plus, they helped fill expression lines by an impressive 124%.
Plant-Powered & Eco-friendly
Made from 100% plant-derived ingredients and vegan fibres, these pads are gentle on your skin and the environment.
Additionally, the fibres help deliver all those hydrating and moisturising ingredients deep into your skin for a long-lasting effect.
3 Ways to Use Mediheal's Retinol Collagen Lifting Pads
The Mediheal's Retinol Collagen Lifting Pads are more than just a toner. Depending on your specific skincare needs, you can use them in different ways.
Elastic Lifting: Target wrinkles, smile lines, under-eye areas, and your neck for a lifted and rejuvenated look.
Power Lifting: For an intensive firming treatment, apply the pad to specific areas and gently stretch it for a targeted lift.
Firm Skin Texture: Gently wipe your cheeks with two pads to achieve a smoother and firmer complexion.
Mediheal Retinol Collagen Lifting Pads: My Honest Review
Even though Mediheal's Retinol Collagen Lifting Pads are retinol pads, I experienced zero irritation even after leaving them on for a longer time. They have a subtle, pleasant fragrance that isn't overpowering. My skin felt instantly hydrated and moisturised after application.
I usually apply them as a face mask for a quick pick-me-up after a long day. The stretchy material is great for conforming to different areas of the face, although it can be a little easy to overstretch. This also allows them to cover a wider area, which is a plus.
My skin definitely had a noticeable glow after using the pads. While long-term effects like reducing fine lines will require more consistent use, I'm excited to see the cumulative benefits of continued use.
Where to Buy Mediheal Retinol Collagen Lifting Pads
You can conveniently purchase Mediheal’s toner pads on Shopee and Guardian online and in stores.

the ultimate guide to glowy, clear skin
so your skin looks great with and without makeup for your summer glow up 🫶🏽
things you should never skip:
- double cleansing at night
- SPF 50 during the day
- spraying a mist before applying hydrating ingredients
- getting 6-8 hours of sleep every night
- washing your hands before touching your face
- washing your pillowcases, hair wraps, and bedding once a week
- using paper towel to dry your face
the main way to have glowy skin? maintaining the skin barrier.
Find everyday products with the following ingredients:
- prebiotics + probiotics
I always use the Axis-Y Biome Radiating Essence
- fatty acids, cholesterols, and ceramides
I always use the Stratia Lipid Gold Serum/Lotion and Aestura Cream
- hydrators: Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid, Betaine, Panthenol
I always use the Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid lotion and Mediheal NMF Ampoule Mask
- anti-inflammatories, antibacterials and antifungals: Propolis, Heartleaf, Centella Asiatica, Cica
I always use the Cosrx Propolis Ampoule and Abib Heartleaf Essence
the other part of having glowy skin? minimal texture, radiance, and clear pores.
These are things you’d use 1-2x a week:
- a surface exfoliator: Lactic Acid (darker-skin friendly; is also hydrating), Glycolic Acid
I always use the Paula’s Choice Lactic/Mandelic Acid exfoliator
- a deep exfoliator: Salicylic Acid, EX-07 enzyme, PHAs
I always use the numbuzin no.4 Pore Zero toner pad
- Vitamin A derivatives/alternatives: retinol, tretinoin, bakuchiol, resveratrol
I always use the 23 Years Old Bakuchiol A cream
You can use your surface and deep exfoliators together, but never mix an exfoliator with Vitamin A!
The biggest help to your skin being healthy and clear? Your diet.
EAT YOUR SKINCARE INGREDIENTS (not literally)
What’s going on inside your body reflects directly on your skin - from constipation, to period cycle stage, to lactose intolerance, and more.
The essentials:
• Collagen and Vitamin A
- BB LAB Collagen powder (also has hyaluronic acid and vitamin C)
- Grass-fed Gelatin Gummies
- Country Farms Super Reds
- Leafy Greens, Carrots, Pumpkin, Cantaloupe, Mango
• Prebiotics and Probiotics
- Country Farm Super Greens
- Seed Daily Synbiotic
- Kombucha
- Kefir
- Yogurt
• good ole H20 :)
- at least 64 ounces (8 cups) a day
Wanna keep your skincare routine simple? You’ll only need 5 things.
1. Oil Cleanser (PM only)
2. Gel/Milky Cleanser
3. an all-in-one toner (hydrates, nourishes, calms)
4. a great moisturizer (preferably with fatty acids and ceramides!)
5. SPF
Just make sure your diet, exercise routine, and sleep routine are the best they can be! 💘

Mediheal Toner Pads Review: The Answer to Glowy Skin
In a world where we barely have time to catch our breath, the days of slathering on seven layers of toner for the latest skincare trends are officially over.
Instead, we now introduce the Mediheal Toner Pad, an all-in-one toner pad that seamlessly doubles as a treatment pack - ideal for busy individuals.
Wipe to Tone, Wear to Treat: Mediheal's 2-in-1 Toner Pads
Mediheal's 2-in-1 toner pads are a real game-changer for folks with jam-packed schedules. Say goodbye to using a mask sheet and toner separately, you can now do both with this product.
Whether you choose to use them as toner pads or for precise mask treatments, these pads offer a great solution for both your daytime and nighttime skincare routines.
Plus, with a generous supply of 100 pads per box, you're in for a long-lasting skincare experience.
Generously Sized Pads with Rounded Corners
Our square pads are a generous 67mm in size, ensuring ample coverage for your entire cheek.
The rounded corners of the pads make them perfect for a smooth and easy application, ensuring every inch of your targeted area gets the attention it deserves.
Hygienic Tweezers for Easy Application
Nobody wants to deal with contaminated skincare products that can wreak havoc on your skin. That's why Mediheal includes a pair of slender tweezers that are easily accessible from the top of the cover.
This ensures a convenient and contamination-free application process, giving you peace of mind for a flawless skincare experience.
Reusable Containers
Mediheal not only care for your skin but also for the environment.
Once you've used up the treatment pads, just toss the inner opaque container and repurpose them as your own storage solution.
These transparent, stackable containers save space and let you keep tabs on your items.
Suitable for All Skin Types, Including Sensitive Skin
These pads are a blessing for every skin type, especially individuals with sensitive skin. They have undergone rigorous skin irritation testing, achieving a flawless score of 0.00 on the skin reaction scale.
What's more, they're crafted with vegan-certified “silk” microfiber that not only delivers moisture and active ingredients effectively but is also gentle and safe for every skin type – with some even offering gentle exfoliation to keep your skin looking its best.
Six Varieties to Choose From
Mediheal's toner pads come in 6 varieties, each tailored to address specific skincare needs:
Tea Tree Trouble Pad: Calms and balances acne-prone, sensitive skin.
Madecassoside Blemish Pad: Ideal for post-blemish care, it evens out post-acne skin and reduces blemishes and dark spots.
Collagen Ampoule Pad: Nourishes and firms ageing and sagging skin, targeting wrinkles and fine lines.
Watermide Toner Pad: Hydrates and cools dry, puffy skin.
Phyto-Enzyme Peeling Pad: Banishes pores and blackheads with sub-acidic LHA.
Vitamide Brightening Pad: Brightens and hydrates the skin with seven essential vitamins.
The best part is, that you can mix and match these toner pads to suit your skin's changing needs.
For instance, try using the Tea Tree Trouble Pad on your T-zone to tackle any excess oiliness, and give your cheeks a hydrating treat with the Watermide Toner Pad.
Mediheal's Madecassoside Blemish Pad – Best Seller
Mediheal's Madecassoside Blemish Pad is a crowd favourite, and for good reason.
Crafted with Centella Asiatica and Madecassoside, it does a fantastic job soothing and smoothing post-acne skin, even on the most sensitive skin types.
Plus, the vegan-certified super adhesion gauze pad provides a gentle touch, ideal for those with rough skin seeking a little TLC.
After using it, you'll reveal in a refreshing, non-sticky sensation that's sure to leave you satisfied.
Mediheal's Madecassoside Blemish Pad Review
Packed with Centella Asiatica and Madecassoside, which gives it a hint of refreshing minty herb scent, the blemish pad is fully saturated with essence.
Its gauze texture ensures it adheres snugly to your skin, giving you the freedom to go about your routine while it works its magic. There's also enough essence for your neck.
After a week of using it as both a toner and treatment pad, I noticed a reduction in acne formation and improved hydration. It didn't irritate my slightly sensitive skin as well.
Mediheal's Collagen Ampoule Pad
Say goodbye to ageing and sagging skin with Mediheal's Collagen Ampoule Pad. Packed with ceramide, 300Da micromolecular collagen, and milk protein, this pad works wonders to enhance the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
With the help of the CollagenFactor complex and a liposome delivery system, it leaves your skin firmer and smoother after usage.
Additionally, it's gentle enough for sensitive skin, making it your go-to solution for tackling sagging skin issues while deeply moisturising and nourishing your face.
Collagen Ampoule Pad Review
The collagen ampoule pad boasts a delightful sweet scent and is generously saturated with essence, ensuring it adheres to your skin while you multitask.
I particularly love applying it to my cheeks for an added firmness boost, helping me restore the youthful bounce to my cheeks.
My skin also appears smoother, brighter, and better hydrated, not to mention feeling noticeably more supple.
Mediheal Toner Pads Review
As someone with combination skin, I've found the Collagen Ampoule Pad perfect for my U-zone and the Madecassoside Blemish Pad for my T-zone.
While the pads are generously soaked in essence, making them a bit challenging to separate, I've come to love them more as treatment pads than toner pads.
After regular use, my skin appears brighter, smoother, and more hydrated.
These pads are a great fit for those with busy lifestyles and diverse skin concerns. In addition, the eco-friendly aspect, with reusable containers, is a fantastic bonus.
You can conveniently purchase Mediheal's toner pads on Shopee and Guardian online and in stores.

soooo agree about the mediheal toner!! i hear so many good things about it but i really cant justify wasting like at least 2 cotton pads a day 😵💫😵💫
If only there was a way to just buy the liquid toner 🥲🥲🥲 maybe with all the online hype they’ll release it
#I also rarely use sheet masks for this reason ugh#I wouldn’t call myself a sustainability girly in any way bc there are so many other ways I could be improving LOL#but I def only use my (clean) hands for skincare#anonymous#to: linde

Haikyuu Skincare Routines
I know most of these hoes would actually just use the bar soap they just used on their pubes on their faces but I’m a skincare whore and that’s unacceptable. This is mainly going to reference kbeauty bc that’s what I’m most familiar with. This is unedited brain heartburn please be wary
Kuroo would come across that one™ heavily quoted vit c research paper (15% ascorbic acid, 0.5% ferulic acid and 1% vit e in alpha tocopherol form) and literally only use that serum (he uses the wishtrend 15% with ferulic acid bc fuck skinceuticals and their $150+ serum) in his routine in combination with the Good Morning cleanser from Cosrx bc it’s cheap and the first thing that popped up when he searched for low acidity cleansers. Uses a combo spf moisturizer from clean and clear bc he hasn’t ‘gotten that far’ into skincare
Hanamaki would be the anti-skincare guru and only believe in cetaphil and whatever prescription his derm gave him but still wonder why his skin isn’t getting better. Uses Elta md sunscreen which is good but there’s so many better options out there honey (get out of your asshole we know you can see the results on your friends)
Mattsun would take a page out of makkis book but prob would opt for curology instead bc he doesn’t have the spare money to see a whole ass derm+/saw the ad somewhere and it worked for him so he kept the subscription. Doesn’t use spf like a heathen
Akaashi would have a solid three or four step routine depending on his mood for the day consisting of: 1. a cream to foam cleanser (bc he doesn’t like the way his face feels tight after super stripping cleansers) 2. probably that galactomyces toner from cosrx except he sprays it onto a cotton pad, tones his face, and then sprays it directly for a good pat down 3. (Optional) a lululun facemask or serum sample he got when he bought his toner 4. A thin layer of a rather dense cream but opts for a lighter cream in the summer or daytime but sometimes whatever bokuto got bc he basically shares akaashis stuff. Spf when he’s going to be out and about that day, but not to school bc he considers that indoors even with the windows flooding uv rays into the room but ok
Bokuto would use whatever akaashis using bc it looked cool to have a routine but then realized after following it for a while that he likes the super clean feeling after washing his face and would probably buy perfect whip by senka bc the foam is super satisfying to play with and it leaves him feeling super clean. He would feel bad about using akaashis products all the time and replace them every now and then with whatever he saw on a commercial or with whatever he got suckered into buying from the super convincing attendants at the beauty counter. One time bokuto used all his savings and bought the flagship pitera cream from skii bc if it’s the most expensive and best it’s gotta be good right? Akaashi sighed and tried using it but the fragrance broke him out and he couldn’t muster up the heart to tell bokuto so he just replaced the insides of the jar with the snail cream from cosrx and the placebo affect made bokutos skin shine like he belonged on the face of Elle. Doesn’t know spf exists unless it’s on a beach
Tendou would fall into any skincare fad and try it once. Has a billion products he’s tried once and thrown away bc it ‘didn’t work out’. Has definitely fucked up the pH balance of his skin, over exfoliated more than once, destroyed his skin barrier, and sometimes combined all of these in one sitting. Needless to say his skin is screaming all the time because it’s so damn sensitive from the torture he puts it through but he thinks the stinging is the product ‘working’, When he ‘tries’ a product he goes straight in without patch tests and applies w a y too much. Gets intoxicated with the feeling of slippy slidy on his face which makes him feel like the product is sinking into his skin better. Definitely makes faces and contorts his face while doing so. Does not actually have a semblance of an actual skincare routine other than doing it for fun. For some reason he always uses spf and remembers to reapply.
Ushijima would be the king of spot treatments and moisturization. Knows more than basics, and definitely incorporates skincare into his routine because he just likes the word routine jk he just gets frustrated from the occasional spot that typically comes up on his chin, otherwise he has immaculate skin. Moisturizes with a gel cream (probably the water bank cream from laneige) because he likes the feel of the oil/water balance on his face. Definitely tries the occasional fad with Tendou but in moderation and picks up whatever he likes/whatever tendou wants to throw away. Favorite products would probably be benzoyl peroxide spot treatments and would only use acne patches overnight. Uses spf occasionally but forgets most of the time unless tendou reminds him.
Kenma would accidentally click an ad for a gimmicky all in one skincare product but then whirlpool himself into the world of skincare and pick up a thing here and there and use it most of the time. If he’s on a gaming binge he won’t wash his dusty face until his eyes water and the crap his long eyelashes have so desperately kept away for the last 18 hours get mixed into his eyeballs and then he’ll finally wash his face. Probably uses good morning cosrx cleanser like kuroo (they get 1+1 deals together) and then the anti stress carrot pads by bellamonster bc he liked the flip top and the big pads bc it’s faster to finish his skincare with more wiping surface area. Finishes with dr jarts cicapair cream bc he’s got somewhat sensitive skin and it doesn’t bother him for his long wear hours. Knows that he should wear sunscreen but still opts out bc he rationalizes it by saying that he prob doesn’t even get enough sun to get his vit d requirement so he doesn’t really need it and to that I say touché
Hinata watched a hadalabo commercial on tv when he was young so he has a firm! belief that your skin should be sticky enough so that the van der waals forces between your palms and cheeks feel like peeling tape after you’re done with your skincare routine. An absolute hyaluronic acid whore, started off with hadalabo but the paraben scare ultimately made him switch to isntrees hyaluronic acid toner plus, not to be confused with the normal one because the more diverse the molecule sizes, the better, no? He doesn’t really understand but he understands that it sinks in better than the original and he likes the dark blue color of the toner on his counter because it makes him feel 0.00001% more manly. Also uses the sleeping mask from the same line before tournaments to mentally(?) prepare himself. Doesn’t use spf unless playing outside because hyaluronic acid is all he knows about actual skincare
Asahi would probably try to find an oil that’s good for his beard and his face. A true connoisseur of cleansing oils as well because he got sucked into it after overhearing from the girls in class that it helps with clogged pores. He always needed something to help with that because he had been getting ingrowns ever since he started getting facial hair. It took a lot to muster up the courage to ask for recommendations and even though he started off with the kose speedy cleansing oil hes made his way all the way up to shu uemuras anti pollution cleansing oil. He doesn’t keep it in the open because he doesn’t want anybody to mistake it for hand soap (ahem nishinoya) and it’s kind of his little secret because he treats it as a mini stress reliever at the end of his day. Doesn’t use spf because he thinks it’ll make him tan unevenly
Osamu looooves using apothecary themed skincare or skincare with essential oils. Probably a whore for the klairs supple preparation toner and innisfree as a brand. The type to cup his hands around his nose after using a product on his skin and breathe it in. Solid skincare routine (that he actually makes a routine) equipped with regular sheet mask sessions every week. His skin is positively glowing and glorious and it makes atsumu mega jealous but he really just doesn’t put in the same effort as osamu does and it shows. Thinks if the packaging says ~derived from natural ingredients~ it’ll have less chemicals or something. If he ever went on a trip to Korea he probably went to jeju as well to experience the innisfree green tea/osulloc luxury tea shop (2 birds with one stone, ya know?). When he was younger he probably liked skinfood (I’m sorry I had to) or tonymoly bc it was cheap, gimmicky, and fun to play around with with atsumu. Hates it when atsumu steals his sheet masks, especially if they’re the mediheal ones he keeps at the back of his drawer. Uses spf at the end of his routine always but forgets to reapply sometimes.
Atsumu really likes fragranced skincare bc he thinks it makes the product more luxurious. Forgets to wash his hands between hair care products and skincare products which makes him break out from time to time. He thinks he has a routine but in reality it’s just the normal 2-3 step he puts on occasionally for the ~vibes~ but is still worried about that line or two starting to form around his eyes. Loves sheet masks, especially the cellulose ones where it feels like agar jelly on your skin. Honestly just likes masks in general (eye masks, wash off masks, sleeping masks, modeling packs) but he likes getting them done at the spa (he takes osamu with him when he steals one too many of his mediheal masks). Washes his face regularly with whatever osamus using because he’s too lazy to bother getting his own but too invested in looking good to ignore the pretty bottle of face wash just begging to be used. Uses spf when he remembers that uva=wrinkles

Here it is!
𝒎𝒚 𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒏 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆
*𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐑: This is what works for me, my skin may be different from yours so it’s no guarantee that this will work for you too! My skin is very sensitive, that’s why I can’t even wear foundation, my skin acts up fast so I always think twice before I add or change something in my routine. I also don’t spend too much for my skin care routine, so a lot of these are very affordable (especially if you’re on a student budget like me)! Read the comments below to see how I use it altogether ⬇
1. 𝙀𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙡 (𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙨) 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙒𝙖𝙨𝙝
To remove the oil and dirt from my face, I always use Eskinol (for teens because I find it less harsh than the regular one). I know that people usually avoid using cleansers with alcohol in them and lean towards micellar water, but Eskinol works for me! If you prefer micellar water, I highly suggest Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water for Sensitive Skin.
After, I wash my face with Ponds once or twice (depending on how oily your skin is). Whenever I have pimples, Ponds helps me avoid it or dry it up and lighten it. I’ve been using Ponds all my life. Although I’ve tried others, my skin always ends up reacting badly.
2. 𝙝𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙃𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙡 𝙏𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙋𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙡
I only use this toner at night because I use a different one in the morning. After washing my face, I put this on a cotton pad and apply it all over my face to stay hydrated.
3.𝙂𝙊 𝙂𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙎: 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙫𝙚
This is actually 2 parts to a whole set of 4 products. Check out their account @thegoglass.ph to see it all! The entire set is only P370 which makes it super student-budget friendly. (In the morning!) After washing my face, I apply this toner all over my face using a cotton pad. After, I apply the sunblock that the set came with. I wasn’t able to take a photo of it because I ran out. After that, you can apply your make up. I just put on eyebrows, but that leaves your skin looking a bit shiny because of the sunblock, but you can just apply some powder to matte your face (I don’t).
The Skin Salve you only apply at night. I apply it right after the Thayers Witch Hazel Toner. I only use my fingers to do so, but make sure it’s absolutely clean (Though you can also opt to use a jade roller)!
4. 𝙈𝙀𝘿𝙄𝙃𝙀𝘼𝙇 𝙏𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝, 𝙋𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢, 𝘼𝙡𝙤𝙚 𝙑𝙚𝙧𝙖 𝙂𝙚𝙡(*𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚)
There was a time in university where I really broke out, so I had to have a stable routine to removing acne. This is mine. Whenever I break out, I only cleanse my face using Eskinol and Ponds, and I skip the toner and skin salve because I don’t want it getting worse.
The MEDIHEAL Trouble Dressing Patch is a bit over P300, but I say it’s worth it because it already comes with 80 patches. I only apply this at night, and after I’ve thoroughly washed my face. Make sure not to abuse the patch because repeatedly using it can cause that area where you applied the patch to burn. Use it, at most, twice in the same area, never more. Usually, after the first night, it should already be dry. When that’s the case, I just repeatedly wash my face and then apply the day cream, strictly no make up so it doesn’t get irritated.
Prior to using pimple patches, I always used toothpaste. It’s an old and traditional hack, but it works to dry the acne. Apply toothpaste using a cotton swab directly on the acne before sleeping and wash your face when you wake up. Make sure not to mix Eskinol and toothpaste because you could end up burning your skin (it’s happened to me).
The Ponds Day Cream helps me lighten the dark spots that are left by acne. Like the facial wash, I’ve used this all my life too.
Another way to lighten pimples is by applying Aloe Vera gel to your face (also helps hydrate it). I only apply Aloe Vera when I know the pimple is completely dry. I also store it in the fridge so it’s cool on the face and closes your pores.
5. 𝙎𝙩. 𝙄𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙣 𝙀𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣 𝙈𝙤𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙧
This moisturiser is magic. It’s also very affordable. If I remember correctly, a tub is below P300. Before, when I didn’t use toner or didn’t apply some sort of serum like the Skin Salve at night, I only applied this on my face before sleeping and I would always wake up to baby soft skin. I always always recommend this moisturiser to my friends and they always love it just as much as I do.

What is your skincare routine? I’ve recently started one so I was curious. You’re skin always looks so glamorous in pictures ♡ - aimee
D’aww thank you so much. Well i’m really extra when it comes to my skin because if i’m not i’ll constantly break out. Ok well make sure you wash your face twice a day, I use panoxyl which is the only cleanser I’ve found that works for me. After that I use Mario Badescu aloe vera toner, it’s pretty expensive (about 30$ for a 16oz bottle) but you can find a different toner but make sure it doesn’t have alcohol in it because it’ll just dry your skin out and make your acne worse.
I use a cotton pad to pat it over my face then I use Simple micellar water afterwards and do the same thing and let it dry. I also do MediHeal sheet masks three times a week, which are also expensive but they make my skin really soft ( if you end up doing sheet masks make sure you moisturize afterwards! Not many people know that you need to moisturize afterwards) Make sure you have a good moisturizer too, I use Hada Labo milky lotion which isn’t that expensive but I have to buy it pretty often so it adds up. Also make sure you exfoliate once a week, make sure it’s only one time a week because exfoliating too much isn’t good for your skin.
I don’t know if you have acne or not but for a spot treatment I use Mario Badescu drying lotion, it is the best damn spot treatment I have ever used (again it’s pretty expensive, 17$ for a 1oz bottle) but it lasts a while and it’s amazing, you just dab a little bit on a blemish before bed and then it’s practically gone when you wake up. Also make sure you wash your sheets once a week, bacteria can build up on your pillowcase and make your acne even worse. I’m pretty sure that’s all haha, hopefully my advice helps!

K-Pop Group BTS Reveals Its Biggest Beauty Secrets for Glowing Skin
Last month, BTS, a K-Pop group from Seoul, cemented itself in American pop culture by winning the Top Social Artist Award at the Billboard Music Awards. The second the boy band hit the magenta red carpet, thousands were exposed to the wonders of K-Pop. Since then, people have been quick to call BTS, which is short for Bangtan Sonyeondan (or Bulletproof Boy Scouts in English), the One Direction of South Korea. However, that's just an easy way to give them some context. In reality, BTS is actually completely different. Why? The seven-piece group's performances are complete with flawless choreography, expert rapping, high-fashion looks, and insanely catchy vocals. Oh yeah, and they look damn good while doing so.
No matter where BTS is, their skin is forever smooth and has an enviable glow to it. Their eyes are typically adorned with a subtle smoky eye look, which both Jin and Jimin told me is their favorite part of wearing makeup. Their lips always have that popsicle-stained look that everyone's been craving lately. Their hair colors are constantly changing, too. In 2017 alone, Jimin's hair has been bubblegum pink, platinum blonde, sandy blonde, and caramel brown. If they had to choose just one shade, though, Rap Monster tells Allure that he prefers "ash gray and ash blue because these complement my skin tone well." Agreed. Also, Suga added that his favorite hair color is blonde because "I just need to de-color and that’s it."
The beauty aspect of BTS's fame alone separates them from the likes of One Direction, the Jonas Brothers, and the Backstreet Boys. And their legions of fans, lovingly called A.R.M.Y., live for it. YouTube is filled with makeup tutorials inspired by looks from BTS's music videos. A whole Tumblr account called Dewy Bangtan is even devoted to tracking down the beauty products BTS uses based on screenshots from behind-the-scenes videos.
If the names I mentioned above didn't ring any bells, let me give you a quick summary of each of the seven members of BTS.
Jin
At 24, Jin is the oldest member of BTS, but he doesn't act like it. He has a very specific skin care-related reason for that. In a recent video, he said, "I have a motto of my life, 'If you behave young, your face becomes young, too.'" Noted. His good looks went viral after the Billboard Awards. On Twitter, he was called the "third one from the left", accompanied by dozens of heart-eye emojis. His response? He's "worldwide handsome."
Suga
Many will identify with Suga, one of the group's rappers, on a spiritual level, as I do. When he isn't working his ass off producing, writing, and composing songs, he just likes to lay. Same. Just as his hair color preference suggests, he's the most low-maintenance of the Bangtan Boys as far as beauty routines goes. He's basically a granddad trapped in a 24-year-old's body.
V
V's interests lie in the finer things in life like Gucci, Van Gogh, and photography. The 21-year-old also makes some of the most hilarious facial expressions and has the most velvety voice in BTS. Some consider him to be the most handsome in the group, but I'll let you decide.
Jimin
Jimin is the king of selfies. BTS's Twitter is filled with evidence of this statement. In their music videos, you can pick him out by his sharp dance moves. In a group photos, you can pick him out by his seriously adorable baby face. Don't let it fool you — he's not the youngest. He's 21. And if anyone was wondering, he's what K-Pop fans call my "bias," aka my favorite. His pink hair sealed the deal for me.
Jungkook
Ok, now it's time to talk about the youngest member of BTS. Jungkook, 19, is a classic, hard-working millennial. He can do everything, including sing (in English), dance, and rap, and do it all incredibly well. When not suited-up in a dress shirt or velvet bomber jacket on stage, you can catch him wearing a white T-shirt and Timberlands.
Rap Monster
Meet the leader of the group. BTS was literally built around the 22-year-old. As you probably could have guessed, Rap Monster, well, raps. He's also BTS's mouthpiece. Fluent in English, he usually takes the lead in stateside interviews. (Watching Friends helped him learn the language.) He has a habit of winking in photo shoot and making people across the world melt. Cringe-worthy hairstyles from BTS's debut in 2013 aside, Rap Monster has some of the best looks of BTS.
J-Hope
I'm convinced J-Hope's ever-positive personality is the true secret behind his glowing skin. (More on his actual secrets later.) Also 22, he's like BTS's portable charger, giving them (and fans) energy and encouragement. Watching him dance will give you strength, too. Trust. He's s-o g-o-o-d.
Now that we're all on the same page, here's the best part: BTS took a break from their massive world tour, which has made stops in the US, Australia, and Brazil, to chat with me about their skin care routines. Yup, you're about to find out some of their secrets.
Why is it important to you to take good care of your skin?
Jin: "Skin is what completes my appearance. I value my looks very much, so it’s equally important to take good care of my skin — that’s a pivotal part of my face."
J-Hope: "Taking good care of your skin is the No.1 rule for all celebs. I get to meet a lot of fans face-to-face at fan meetings and similar events, and I’d like to look my best for them."
What’s your biggest skin concern?
Rap Monster: "My skin is dry most of the time, and my biggest concern is keeping it [moisturized]. I get zits from time to time and that concerns me as well."
Jungkook: "I get pimples sometimes, and it’s very stressful."
You guys travel a lot. Do you do any skin-care treatments while you’re on the plane to keep your skin from freaking out?
V: "On the plane, I dampen cotton pads with toner and put on lotion twice as much."
Jimin: "I don’t really do anything extra special for my skin on the plane, but I try to drink as much water as possible."
What are some of your favorite beauty products?
V: "I’ve been looking for my absolute favorite beauty product for a long time because my skin becomes dry and oily relatively fast. I haven’t found the right one, but I’m not giving up! Any recommendations?"
What is your skin routine like?
J-Hope: "[In the morning, I use] toner and face cream. [At night, the steps are] toner, essence, acne care, lotion, cream."
Jungkook: "Toner and cream for night and morning routine."
A lot of people find skin care routines to be a form of self care. Do you agree?
Rap Monster: "I totally agree. My favorite brand is Mediheal, and it has a variety of sheet masks you can choose from after a long day of work."
Jimin: "I do agree because I try to clear my mind by cleansing my face after performances."
Do you have any bad skin care habits?
Suga: "My bad habit is that I don’t take care of my skin."
V: "I don’t particularly have a bad habit, but I’m worried about my skin having lack of elasticity. How can I prevent this?"
Are there any Korean beauty trends that you particularly love?
Jin: "I love sheet masks. I try to put them on whenever I feel my skin is dry and exposed too much to the sun. They help me make up for lost moisture and brighten my skin."
Do you have any go-to skin care tips for clear, glowing skin?
J-Hope: "I try to go to the dermatologist when I have some free time after work."
Jungkook: "I wish I had one! Let me know, and I’ll try."
Excuse me while I send Jungkook my list. If I learned anything from the Bangtan Boys, it's staying diligent with toner, using it day and night (and on the plane). If you need a recc or two, Allure editors are loving the Kopari Coconut Rose Toner and the Milk Makeup Matcha Toner right now.
