MBBS in Egypt for Indian Students 2024
Since 2019, pursuing MBBS in Egypt has become increasingly popular among Indian students. Egyptian medical schools confer the basic medical degree as MBBCh (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery). The program spans five academic and clinical study years, followed by two mandatory years of clinical rotations. The issuance of the MB BCh degree occurs upon completing these clinical rotations, resulting in a comprehensive seven-year curriculum encompassing academic study and clinical experience.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is responsible for organizing and overseeing Egypt's medical education system. Eligible students, who have successfully completed 10+2 Grades or an equivalent qualification, can apply to Egyptian Medical Universities. The Bachelor's in Medical Education is structured into three parts:
1. Pre-Clinical,
2. Clinical,
3. Internship.
Becoming a doctor in Egypt typically involves the following progression:
Internship: Upon graduation from medical school, students embark on a two-year internship program conducted in a hospital affiliated with the Medical University. This period provides practical instruction and hands-on experience in their chosen specialty.
Residency: Following the completion of the internship, graduates have the option to apply for a residency program in their preferred specialty. Residency programs often span three to five years and involve additional instruction and practical experience.
Specialization: Graduates can further pursue specialization by applying for a specialized program in a specific branch of medicine after successfully completing their residency.

If picking a family from the Operation Olive Branch spreadsheet feels overwhelming then let me share a family with you.
Tumblr media
This fundraiser is for Alaa Ayad and her family. Alaa was a college student in her final year when her family was first displaced by bombing. Since then they've been forced to relocate six more times.
This family needs food, water and medication and they are trying to escape Rafah for safety in Egypt.
Please donate if you can. As always, any little bit can make a difference in someone's life. It all adds up together towards the same goal. This is a real family vetted through Operation Olive Branch that needs help.
If you can't donate then please at least reblog and share. The more people that see this, the more likely it is for people to donate. Currently at the time of posting (5/28/24) they've reached less than 5% of their goal. Please help Alaa and her family get the resources and safety they need.

CAIRO—Although Egypt has refused to accept refugees from the Gaza Strip, more than 100,000 Palestinians have crossed the border into Egypt since the start of Israel’s offensive in Gaza following Hamas’s attack on Oct. 7, 2023.
Khaled Shabir, a 29-year-old man, is one of the Palestinians who managed to flee. He entered Egypt in March, four months after the Israeli army bombed his house in the southern Gazan city of Khan Yunis. The attack killed his parents, but he survived with crushed bones in his foot, thigh, and hand, which landed him in a hospital and then a field medical facility.
Some Palestinians are able to get a free medical transfer to Egypt for life-threatening conditions. But Shabir had to go the route of most who have fled: paying Hala Consulting and Tourism, the only company that secures passage from Gaza into Egypt. Hala, whose owner reportedly has close ties with the Egyptian authorities, charges $2,500 to $5,000 per person crossing over—much more than most Palestinians can afford.
Shabir did not have the money. But with a crowdfunding campaign, he was able to raise $5,000 to cross into Egypt. “Doctors at the hospital were sympathetic to my condition and waived their financial fees for my surgeries,” he wrote in a text message from his hospital bed in Cairo on June 4.
Like most Palestinians who have recently arrived in Egypt, Shabir has found himself in a strange position: Because he is not technically a refugee, he isn’t eligible for most international aid for refugees, unlike his counterparts back in Gaza. Eight Palestinians in Egypt interviewed for this story said they hadn’t received any humanitarian relief from international organizations. This has left them dependent on the goodwill of others—and increasingly at risk of being unable to get by.
Palestinians who have fled are reaching Egypt at a time when the country is experiencing its worst economic crisis in decades. In recent years, Egypt’s inflation rates have reached all-time highs, rent and food prices have soared, and millions of people have fallen into poverty.
It is especially difficult for Palestinians to navigate Egypt’s crisis. The majority of recent arrivals do not have official residency documents, so they cannot enroll their children in public school, apply for jobs, or receive health care and other benefits, according to an official from the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo who spoke with Foreign Policy on the condition of anonymity.
The official said on June 30 that just three international organizations have provided assistance to Palestinians who have fled to Egypt, and it has only reached a small portion of them. This aid includes $200 from the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization for 500 students, as well as medical and psychological care from Save the Children and UNICEF for a few injured infants.
Even for those with more resources, life has grown tough as their savings have run low. Nagham, a 23-year-old college student majoring in commerce, left Gaza at the end of January to stay with relatives in Cairo after the Israeli military destroyed her home and her husband’s barber shop. Because she had residency papers and was already enrolled at Cairo University, Nagham—who preferred to use only her first name—did not have to pay for entry. (Before the war, she studied online and only went to Cairo for exams.) But after arriving in Cairo, Nagham had to sell her wedding ring and other jewelry to raise the funds needed to pay transit fees to bring her husband to safety.
Now, she said, “we’re in a really bad financial situation.” As of April, she was being treated for a cervical infection she contracted from contaminated water in the first few months of the war. In May, Nagham sought financial aid from the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo, but it did not provide any help. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), meanwhile, included her name in a registry tallying the number of Palestinians in Egypt, but she is not sure whether this implies any forthcoming aid.
“We’re starting over from scratch,” Nagham said. “I feel like we are in a nightmare.”
Kamel Mohamed, a 23-year-old who left Gaza in April, said that the majority of university students he knows from Gaza are running out of money, especially after paying the transit fees. He is currently applying for scholarships to study at a university in Egypt or other Arab countries. But in the meantime, international organizations have not provided any support, leaving him dependent on monthly aid from two local charities in Egypt.
“We are from a region devastated by war, and the people there have lost everything,” Mohamed said. “International organizations need to play a part and provide assistance.”
Jeff Crisp, a visiting research fellow at the University of Oxford’s Refugee Studies Centre, echoed this sentiment. “It should be the responsibility of the UN as a whole (UNHCR, WFP, UNICEF, IOM, etc.) to step in and support the Palestinians,” he wrote via email.
One major problem is that those who have fled Gaza are not considered refugees. This means that the two U.N. refugee agencies—the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), which protects non-Palestinian refugees, and UNRWA, which is solely responsible for Palestinian refugees—can’t support them.
UNRWA spokesperson Tamara Alrifai wrote in an email to Foreign Policy, “UNRWA does not have programs in Egypt, in the way it runs schools, health centers and social support in the areas where it has a mandate to operate.” She added that UNRWA, unlike UNHCR, “does not have a mandate to resettle refugees into new countries.”
The Egyptian government has refused to recognize Palestinians as refugees since 1978, instead referring to them as “our guests” or “our siblings.” It has long opposed both the establishment of a UNRWA operational office in Cairo and the displacement of Gaza’s population into its territory, citing potential threats to regional security and fears that Israel would not allow displaced Palestinians to return to the coastal enclave.
But many experts, including the U.N.’s special rapporteur on torture, argue that Egypt has legal obligations to accept refugees. Crisp stated in his email, “Egypt is a signatory to the UN Refugee Convention and should do what it can to support any that arrive from Gaza.” He added that Palestinians who fled war should be treated as displaced people.
For now, without residency papers, most of the Palestinians who recently arrived from Gaza are at risk of deportation. The Palestinian Embassy in Cairo is urging Egyptian authorities to provide papers as soon as possible so that children who have left Gaza can attend school in the fall, according to the embassy official.
The Egyptian government has, however, supported some Palestinians who have been injured in the war. Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said in May that around 5,500 injured people had been evacuated from Gaza for medical care in 160 hospitals across Egypt since the start of the conflict. These individuals are treated at the Egyptian government’s expense.
The process, however, is not easy. “It was a torture journey,” said Um Qusai, who was able to leave Gaza so that her six-year-old daughter, Noor, could get eye surgery. One of Noor’s eyes had fallen out after debris from an Israeli bomb fell onto her bedroom in October.
After six months in the European Hospital in Gaza, Um Qusai finally secured a medical transfer for Noor, making their entry to Egypt free. But because they did not have passports, she had to wait with Noor and her two other children for 12 hours at the Rafah border crossing, while Noor was in agonizing pain, before border authorities let them in.
Once they arrive in Egypt, many Palestinians who received free medical transfers are not allowed to leave the hospital. A number of those patients, along with family members accompanying them, told Foreign Policy that they felt trapped inside hospitals and would only be permitted to leave if they returned to Gaza.
Egyptian volunteers have arranged trips to bring Palestinian patients food, medication, and clothing. However, some volunteers, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said they had to undergo lengthy bureaucratic procedures to obtain authorization from Egyptian officials to visit the patients due to strict hospital security measures.
For now, many Palestinians in Egypt must rely on the support of local charities and grassroots initiatives to get by.
In November, Sherif Mohyeldeen, an Egyptian researcher and nonresident fellow at the Carnegie Middle East Center, launched For the People, a grassroots group with about 60 members, to support injured Palestinians and their families in Cairo and Alexandria, Egypt. So far, he said, the initiative has collected donations to support more than 1,200 Palestinians with food and cash assistance for rent.
“People have come here with only their clothes,” Mohyeldeen said. “There is a huge amount of psychological and physical suffering.” The Palestinian Centre for Policy and Survey Research has reported that more than 60 percent of people in Gaza have lost family members since Israel’s war—which has killed more than 40,000 people in the territory, according to the Gaza Health Ministry—began in October.
Sherif added that his group has yet to find solutions for families who need prosthetic limbs or chemotherapy, both of which are extremely expensive, as well as Palestinian students whose annual university tuition in Egypt exceeds $4,000.
Abdullah Abu al-Aoun, a 26-year-old man from a wealthy family in Gaza, is also trying to help others who have fled. His family owned many buildings and two restaurants in Gaza’s Remal district, all of which were bombed by the Israeli army. After fleeing Gaza with 22 members of his family in February, he opened a Shawarma restaurant in Cairo. His mother’s Egyptian passport and the family’s savings of more than $100,000 helped him establish the business.
Aoun has hired three young men from Gaza in his new restaurant and has been helping other Palestinian families in Cairo with cash assistance. “Although there is still war in Gaza, some aid is getting in,” he said on May 25 while sitting in the restaurant, where four men from Gaza were dining. “Here, the families who left for Egypt are not getting any support.”
But individuals and small charities can only make so much of a difference compared with international organizations—and many Palestinians, including Aoun’s family, know that they may have to stay in Egypt for years to come due to the scale of destruction in Gaza. According to the Palestinian Embassy official, many more Palestinians are expected to arrive in the coming months. With no humanitarian relief on the horizon and Cairo so far refusing to provide residency permits, they sink deeper into uncertainty with each passing day.
“What really scares me is the unknown future,” Naghan said. “When will the crossing open again? If we return, will we live in a tent or on the rubble of our house?”

“It’s definitely not cancer,” your neurologist had assured you. “Completely benign. But when it’s causing symptoms like this, it does need to come out, unfortunately.” Your face had fallen, and she’d looked at you sympathetically. “I’m going to refer you to the best surgeon I know,” she’d told you. “He’s — a bit odd, maybe, but he’s a genius. You’ll be in excellent hands.”
And now you’re here, waiting nervously to meet the man who’s going to be cutting into your brain, and it’s getting later and later and you’re about to run out screaming, when he walks through the door and smiles at you. And somehow, without anything having changed at all, you feel like you’ll be okay.
“Hello,” he says with a little wave, and oh God, he’s got a British accent, one of your known weak points, and deep brown eyes, another, and you absolutely cannot do this because it’s beyond inappropriate, but you’re melting anyway. “I’m Steven. Uh, Dr. Grant, that is. Dr. Steven Grant, with a V, and I’m probably not filling you with a lot of confidence here, am I?” He smiles ruefully, and that’s the third pillar knocked out from under you because he’s an adorable dork, and it all comes crumbling down. All you can do is stare at him as he comes closer and takes your hand in both of his and looks deep into your eyes. “But I promise you, I’m very good at what I do, and you’re going to be just fine.”
Steven — Dr. Grant, you have to remind yourself — spends a solid hour with you, patiently answering all your questions and making you wish you hadn’t turned down that 8 AM neuropsych class in college. Who knew the human brain was such a fascinating thing? Or is it only fascinating when you’re learning about it from a dark-eyed, sweet-voiced man?
“How big of a scar will I have?” you finally dare to ask him. You’ve been coping with the whole thing by focusing on the more minor aspects; whether or not that’s healthy is between you and your therapist, but this is the spot your anxiety’s decided to settle down and get comfy in.
A big grin lights up his face at your question, and he runs a hand through his disheveled curls, confirming how they got that way in the first place. “Absolutely nothing anyone will see,” he assures you. “I’ve had a good long look at your scans and there’s no reason at all we can’t do this the way we usually do these days. Do you happen to know much about Ancient Egypt?” The apparent non sequitur catches you by surprise, and you shake your head no. “It’s a bit of a — special interest of mine,” he says, smiling sheepishly, and you notice for the first time that his rumpled tie is patterned with hieroglyphics.
“What does it have to do with the surgery?”
“Right,” he says. “Your surgery. You won’t have a visible scar because we’re going to go up through your nose. I know it sounds unpleasant, but this really is the best way to do it. Better all round — minimizes the pain and the risk to you, and shortens the recovery process.” He grins at you, tilting his head. “And, back in Ancient Egypt, that’s how they removed the brains of those they were preparing for mummification — they’d go right up the nose, just like we’ll do. But fortunately, your brain’s going to stay right where it belongs, minus the little bit that’s causing you all the trouble.”
You can’t help laughing at his explanation. “That’s really helpful to know, actually. Thank you.”
“We try to be as non-invasive as possible.” His eyes twinkle, and you have a sudden urge to kiss the little creases around them. “We know you’ve got a life to get back to, after all.”
You start wondering about his life, then: there’s no ring on his finger, no happy family photos decorating his office wall. Maybe you’re imagining things, in your state, but you feel like he’s been holding eye contact with you just a little too long, leaning a little too close to you to point out something on his screen.
You don’t mind imagining that — not even a little bit.
And when the appointment’s finished, and he squeezes your hand and says he’ll see you again when it’s all over, you find yourself thinking about his hands, gentle and strong and capable.
For the first time in a long time, when you ask yourself what is WRONG with my BRAIN, you don’t mean it literally.
***
You’re still a bit groggy when Dr. Grant makes his post-surgery rounds. “Everything went brilliantly,” he tells you, squeezing your hand. He’s wearing a different Egyptian-themed tie this afternoon, one with little cats and ankhs, and it makes you smile. “No problems whatsoever, and you should have a smooth recovery, but once you’re home I want you to call me if you have any questions or concerns at all.”
The warmth of his hand and the last foggy wisps of anesthesia are suppressing your usual filter, and you blurt it out before you can stop yourself. “Can I call you even if I don’t? Like — for a date?”
The tips of his ears go red, and he clears his throat. “I — I’m flattered, really I am,” he says softly after a moment. “Immensely so. But… I can’t date a patient of mine. It’s not right, ethically, and I’d be in quite a lot of trouble with the hospital, and… and I’m sorry.”
“Oh.” You try to hide your disappointment, but you’re not doing a very good job of it.
He holds up a hand, a smile beginning to hover around the corner of his mouth. “But. What I was going to say is, you’ll have one more appointment with me in a few weeks, to follow up, and then you’ll officially be discharged back to your regular neurologist. She’ll handle all your care from then on.”
He’s waiting for you to cotton on, and you finally do. “Discharged — that means I won’t be your patient anymore, then?”
He dips his chin briefly in acknowledgment, and the smile turns into a boyish grin. “Nothing wrong with your brain,” he compliments you. “And I should know.”
“That’s good,” you murmur, suddenly feeling sleepy again. You settle back against your pillow and give him your most dazzling smile, or at least your best post-anesthesia approximation of one. “Wanna take you out after that, then. ‘S only fair — you’ve already been inside me.”
He chokes, and you fall asleep still smiling.
Tumblr media
author’s note (yeah, you get two, suck it up): This is a piece of pure self-indulgence; last year, there was a point at which I thought I’d be facing the same surgery as Reader, and the idea of our lovely Steven as a doctor was a comfort to me. Fortunately, brain surgery was not required in my case, and this remained a fun thought until I dusted it off and wrote it up for the bingo event!
That said… while I was lucky, a very dear friend of mine was not, and I’m dedicating this to her. If you enjoyed reading this and you feel willing and able, please consider making a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association, or your local equivalent, to help fund research that aims to improve and extend the lives of people like S.

Hello, I am Nora Maliha from the devastated Gaza Strip. I am 24 years old, studying special education, and was about to graduate. I come from a academically accomplished and ambitious family. My father works in the occupied territories, and my mother is a homemaker. I have two sisters (Dina and Farah) and three brothers (Ahmed, Mohammed and Amr)
Dina:-
A teacher, graduated with honors from university after achieving a 98.9% GPA in high school in 2014. A determined and ambitious girl who faced life's challenges alone despite our difficult financial circumstances, managing to make a difference in society as a woman
Ahmed:-
A third-year college student majoring in software engineering, my elder brother trying to shoulder responsibilities in the absence of our father. Life seems bigger than him as a young man unable to secure his daily
Farah:-
The cheerful girl who graduated high school with a 90% GPA, started her educational journey at university in her first year. Farah, who never gave up, spoke to us about her ambitions and visions for the future.
Mohammed:-
The beautiful child, thirteen years old, excelling in his studies. Unlike the rest of the family, Mohammed suffered from a severe respiratory crisis and chronic inflammation of the airways. His companion was the respiratory device he couldn't live without. What broke Mohammed's heart was leaving his device behind when we were forced to flee to southern Gaza.
Amr:-
Eleven years old and very bright in his studies, Amr is mischievous, aiming to become a mechanical engineer.
Our Story:
Since childhood, we've lived in a rented house, and our father worked tirelessly abroad to afford us a home of our own, but we never achieved that dream. We led a quiet and stable life, dreaming of studying hard to build our future.
All these dreams shattered on October 7th. We lost contact with our father in the occupied territories and haven't heard from him since. Until now, we receive unverified news. We endured the early days of war in northern Gaza, refusing to evacuate to the south, hoping for its end. We couldn't sleep at night due to intense bombing and heavy artillery until November 15th when the occupation forces stormed our home, forcing us to flee on foot to the south. My mother, siblings, and I passed through the occupation forces' checkpoint, forcibly searched and terrorized by gunfire. I can't describe how much we cried that day. We headed to the Red Crescent headquarters in Khan Yunis, where we stayed for about a month and a half without any assistance. We received news of the occupation army entering and destroying our home completely. Here begins Mohammed's story as he started feeling extreme fatigue due to the air pollution from the smell of gunpowder and rockets. The Red Crescent had to resuscitate him using medical devices insufficient for all the patients. One dark night, the Israeli army bombed the Red Crescent without any prior warning, prompting my mother, siblings, and me to flee to Rafah. We set up a tent on the beach in the freezing cold, unable to afford food, water, or Mohammed's medication. Rafah is no longer safe; the Israeli army threatens to invade, and we have no shelter or place to escape to. We feel deep sadness and extreme despair for our devastated lives, for our father far away, whom we haven't been able to contact for five months, alone without a provider, worried about Mohammed's inability to tolerate the smell of gunpowder. His health condition is critical, and action needs to be taken immediately to save his life. He and his family seek help and assistance for evacuation to Egypt. However, we cannot cover all these expenses, and those in charge shouldn't leave us to suffer the psychological and physical trauma that has accompanied us and worsened during the genocide in Gaza.
All we wish is for you to help us cross the Rafah crossing to Egypt to start anew.
Information and cost for crossing to Egypt via its only agent, "Yahala Company":Information and cost for crossing to Egypt via its only agent, "Yahala Company":
$5000 per adult (we are five adults), totaling $25,000.
$2500 per person under 18 (2 children), totaling $5000.
Renting an apartment in Egypt costs $166 monthly ($2000 for a full year).
Total amount: $32,000.

You always leave your cool headcanons in the tags! If you're up to it, do you have some for Simon and Betty your up for sharing? I'd love to hear them 🥺
lol sorry ha ha! I like whispering in the tags a lot lmao. And sure! I don't think I ever really gave headcanons on these two disasters but I have a ton so buckle up, and thanks for the ask. ^^
Betty
She was born to Russian Jewish first-gen immigrants somewhere in New England. They were medical doctors by trade, running a practice together and everything. She is an only child. Her parents worked a lot so she was often alone at home when she got old enough.
Due to relative solitude at home, Betty became an avid reader and allowed it to occupy her time when she was lonely. She has a particular penchant for mystery novels that persisted into adulthood. Her general love of the unknown led her into being interested in real world mysteries.
Her birthday is April 11, 1966 - making her an elder Gen X and an Aries.
Has always been very smart, especially in regards to mathematics and has a minor in it. It's definitely her forte, if not made obvious by Temple of Mars.
She is bipolar II and has learned to manage it well over years, as long as no major stressors enter her life she is pretty good to go [crying cat giving thumbs up image]
Loves plants and mushrooms! She's especially fond of succulents. Very adept at fungi identification and foraging properly.
When she's not deep into her work, she likes taking nature hikes either on foot or on her bike. She's always loved the outdoors.
Betty loves all genres of music, but is particularly partial to Depeche Mode and Journey.
She also loves all animals, but really enjoys alligators and crocodilians. The first time she went down South and saw an American Alligator just casually hanging out near a river, she nearly burst into tears.
Simon
His birthday is August 25th, 1965. He is a Virgo because of course he is. Just misses Boomer status, as Gen X began in '65 lmao.
His father was a first-generation Russian/Yakut immigrant, while his mother was a second generation Filipina American. They were borderline hippies that met at a music festival, but break the (objectively flawed) stereotype by being very well educated with successful careers in teaching.
Simon had a younger sister and developed Older Sibling Syndrome that defines part of his personality to this day.
Stemming from his parents, Simon has always had a thirst for adventure. In addition to being exposed to camping at young age due to his family taking him to festivals in his youth, he also has always had a general inclination to explore the unknown.
Loves 60s-70s rock and roll a la Mountain and Jimi Hendrix, but just prefers the genre in general. This manifests later a bit in Ice King's love for Marceline's music, which is of course rock-centric.
He is autistic; his first special interest was cryptids, something that never really left him. He eventually developed one for playing the drums (also seen in IK later) and Cheers obv. His main interest is by far ancient artifacts. He was the kid that checked out books on Ancient Egypt every week.
Got his PHD in Archaeology by 27 due to being wicked smart and starting intro college classes all the way back in his Junior/Senior years of high school.
Unironically tuned into Art Bell's radio show because of his cryptid and conspiracy fascination. He never actually bought into any of it (mostly), but it was fun for him!
Is a cat person full stop. He will sometimes take walks in his neighborhood and be greeted by all the outside cats that he has made a point to get to know!
Simon and Betty
Met at a University-held science and sci-fi convention right before Betty was to leave for Australia. Simon held a small panel on the Enchiridion, talking about its history and his search for it. Betty fell fast and hard. They both did. After the panel they talked for hours about it.
Their shared love for mysteries and adventure made them a perfect match. They shared a ton in common and became inseparable almost instantly.
Were the couple that rarely ever fought, but they also possessed a level of obvious codependency. Betty was the first person to ever make Simon feel so seen and he loved her wit and eccentricity, and Simon proved so smart and sweet and genuinely interesting that their pull was magnetic.

Hi I'm wondering if you can do headcanons of the Yu-Gi-Oh boys reacting with having an s/o with ADHD?
(First request that I’ve had and I’m in love w/ this idea <3 I don’t have adhd (even though my mom is positive that I do) but I tried my best to make it accurate!
Yu-Gi-Oh boys w/ a S/o that has ADHD
Tumblr media
Yugi Muto
He is the definition of the best boyfriend
Doesn’t matter what’s going on; verbally and physically he’s there for you
You forget a lot? Don’t worry he remembered. Oh you have trouble sleeping and have a lot of stuff on your mind? Tell him, he wanted to stay up to do some stuff anyways. You have trouble concentrating and get sudden mood changes? It’s ok talk to him about it, he’ll understand
He understands that he’s not your parent and that he’s your partner so he will never lecture you about doing something wrong or just do everything by himself
I can’t stress this enough but communication is so big with him
He wants to know how your feeling and wants you to know the same
There have been a couple times where he asks advice from Yami however he soon realized that Yami doesn’t understand ADHD at all so he mostly relies of google now
If your in public and start talking a lot because of nerves of are just nervous then he’ll subtly reach to grab your hand
However if your not a fan of physical touch then he’ll give you looks of reassurance and whisper word of affection into your ear
The best boyfriend award immediately goes to him
Tumblr media
Yami Yugi
This poor boy oh my lord-
I’m just going to say it, he has no idea what to do
I mean in his defense he was trapped inside of a puzzle and before that he was living in Egypt as the Pharaoh before being weird or an outcast was ok
Its like teaching someone from the 1600s that just because someone is a women doesn’t mean that they are a witch y’know?
He tries his best but sometimes trying isn’t good enough I mean he’s still trying to figure out how to use a phone
He does have his moments though
While he doesn’t understand how to communicate that well, he will always be there for you physically
Your having a tough day? So is he, you wanna cuddle while watching a cute tv show, I mean he’s down if you’re down
If you don’t want to cuddle being in the same room close to him is enough to make him happy
He will always listen to you. Doesn’t matter if it’s 1 am and you woke him up to tell him you had a dream about a talking jalapeño or being accepted into your dream college either way he’ll listen
He might not talk to you about it, but he notices everything that you do; the figeting, mumbling, playing with your hair, everything he notices
He remembers a lot so likely if you forgot something just ask him and he’ll tell you
He is awesome with time; just by looking at the sun he can tell what time it is which also means he always reminds you at the same time everyday to take your medication
He always tries to be subtle with this because he doesn’t want you to think that he’s trying to take control of you life
At any point if you think he’s to much you can just tell him and he’ll try to back off
Tumblr media
Joey Wheeler
I fully believe this man has ADHD too-
We got two peas in a pot over here oh my lordy
Both of you literally forget everything; it not even funny how sad it is… jk it is
You’ll tell the other one to remember something then two seconds later they’ll forget
I mean it has ups and downs
On one hand he understands what your going through (even though he won’t admit to having ADHD) so if your up then chances are that he is up to
Not just to help you but instead his mind is really active and is just not tired
Like I said though, you both forget literally everything which gets really annoying at times and can start minor arguments but eventually you get through it together
You guys are an overreacting duo
You both get the other one fired up to add more fuel to the fire which far away is pretty funny… and close up too
You both suck at social cues yet one of you don’t realize it *cough* Joey *cough*
Joey definitely does random noises when the air feels awkward… making it more awkward
You to understand each other perfectly allowing no words to be said and yet you already know what your partner is thinking and the other way around
Tumblr media
Duke Devlin
Imma be honest… I forgot a lot of stuff about him.. but I mean I remover he likes a dice game and was popular or something
He first saw you on his first day of school with you sitting in a desk crisscross while your other friends were standing in front of you
Live at first sight… for one of you
While he fell immediately, it took you a while to just get minor feelings for him
He would always love to hear you ramble on about your day (even though he was there for most of it) while walking you home
You guys live pretty close which he only noticed when he was stalking behind you one day—
That also means he was able to push himself into things that he wouldn’t have been able to had he live far away
He told your parents he was an adult so he could babysit you when they went on a week long trip
As soon as they left the house he was slapped on the back of his head and lectured from you and was told to go back home which he did, but he came back the next day
So you can only expect your parents reactions when they found out that you and him just started dating
You both were in trouble
It somehow got worse when you told them he was actually a month younger than you—
Duke didn’t know that you even had ADHD until 2 month after you guys started dating when you just randomly brought it into the conversation
Bro was baffled
“If I had the choice to choose between dying or just still having ADHD I would chose dying.”
“You have ADHD??”
“Uh… yes? Did you seriously not know this??
“You never once mentioned it…”
“I’ve mentioned it atleast 10 times, Duke.”
“So didn’t.”
“So did.”
Yeah that caused some squabbling between you two
Once he found out he made sure not to treat you any different knowing it would piss you off and he would probably get annoyed with himself too
Tumblr media
Seto Kaiba
This man has no empathy—
You forgot something? Sounds like a you problem. You’re feeling really burnt out? Well that’s too bad.
Don’t worry tho you atleast got Mokuba
Mokuba is the sweetest boy alive
He will get you anything you want in the whole world because he admires you almost if not more than Seto
Seto acts like he doesn’t care but really he does
He already knew a lot about people having ADHD but when you and him started dating he did some more just to be on the safe side
He’ll give you quick words of encouragement sometimes like saying things like “Good job” or “You did better than I expected.”
Even though he says that if you forget then it’s your problem, he remembers everything for you
Sure he’ll scold you but then just sigh and tell you what you forgot
If your angry then he’ll just let you be unless someone else is causing that rage then he’ll kick them out and act like nothing happened
Alone when he has time he’s pretty sweet and MIGHT cuddle you if you wanted
He makes sure not to treat you any differently just because you have ADHD
Why would he?
He’s really subtle about his affection; he doesn’t want anyone to know how you can make him weak in the knees
If you need medication but don’t have the money he’ll gladly pay it for you no matter how much you fight against it
Overall he’s a sweet boyfriend (but not as sweet as Mokuba)

“My father used to work as a doctor in our city of Gaza, but now he is unable to work due to the current circumstances. His office was destroyed by the bombs and there is no money to live on.”

"The camp she lives in lacks electricity, clean drinking water, and sufficient food. With no income, her father struggles to provide for his family of eight. Layla and her brothers are tirelessly striving to make ends meet. She contributes to household chores by cleaning dishes and assisting her mother with cooking. Despite the challenges, Layla remains resilient in her efforts to support her family by helping other camp dwellers.
Due to the lack of clean drinking water Layla recently fell ill and upon diagnosis by a camp doctor, she received the terrible news that she is suffering from Hepatitis A. She and her family were devastated when they learnt about this chronic disease. She now needs constant medication and vaccination."
"We (myself along with Layla and her family) are now requesting for funds for Layla's safe travel to Egypt with her family (parents, siblings, and grandparents), for her treatment at a good hospital to recover from this curable disease as she could have a long active life ahead of her, care for her mother and grandparents, completing her degree to become a pharmacist and a source of livelihood for her father such as a small hotel/guest house in Egypt in a rented property with a few rooms so that he can start earning for his family. The funds will help furnish the property with beds, chairs and air conditioners so that the hotel/guest house can be started. The eventual goal will be for her and her family to return home after the war, where she belongs. Let us give Leila her life back and for her to realize her dreams and give back to society where she belongs."
