Sometimes you don't realise how much a particular piece of media has influenced your thinking until your attention is drawn to certain vocabulary you weren't consciously aware you were using.

Like playing Tears of the Kingdom and abruptly noticing what the voice in your head has been calling the weapon fusion mechanics for short.

i’ve started thinking about enemy types for my au.

i thought it would be fun to start by redesigning the patra from zelda 1, there’s a lot of potential in the design since it doesn’t have any modern appearances.

not so much of a design lol as it is just an idea. the face of a goddess statue which lifts up to reveal a massive skulltula or gohma (or other monster). if i end up using it, i’d put more thought into the actual design of it tho
