Trying out huel for a bit. I ordered some earlier this month and it finally came in. I struggle with getting decent nutrition and my daily vitamins have been giving me headaches due to the vitamin A content (I think this has contributed to my migraines as well) so I'm going to try out complete meal replacement shakes.
So far I have tried the chocolate and vanilla. the chocolate kind of just tastes like chocolate soylent but the vanilla is pretty tasty I can imagine it's a great base for smoothies.
Normally I eat a lot of canned beans so I'm not to worried about gastro issues due to the fiber content but I'll update if they do upset my stomach.
I like that the black edition doesn't have artifical sweeteners which is something I avoid since they trigger my chronic pain symptoms for some reason.

foremost sorry if this ask is unnecessary, but i really relate to the post you made about being frustrated with health monitors & meal replacements being marketed towards able bodied people. i've tried almost every dairy free meal replacement shake i could find and my personal one i use when i'm too sick to eat hard food is a bottled soylent & a scrambled egg. the strawberry one tastes like fruity pebbles milk imo. i hope u find something that makes life easier for u
this is very sweet! i know @suspicious-whumping-egg added a list of options in the notes of that post. I personally used Kate farms shakes when I was in the US and use Huel in the UK, which are both gluten free, vegan, and a bunch of other —frees because I am allergic to many things. they’re also both complete meal replacements which is important for me. I wish you good soylent and tasty eggs!

As the nieces are getting older, they're slowly weeding out their mid-day naps short of being sick or not sleeping well. Which means Aunt Js lunch time is getting shorter and shorter meaning I need things that are quick, keep me full and won't break the bank. Ideally things I can prep for 2 or 3 days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) that I can grab and dash out the door as it's early in the morning and blenders aren't known for being quiet. I'm open to meal replacement shakes, protein shakes, budget friendly meals etc. I need roughly 3 weeks worth of ideas. Anyone got a good site etc. I can pop by?

ive talked to a lot of ppl who have taken vyvanse now and i think ik a bit more on how i need to live on it
#1) dopamine drops on lower dosages or high dosage but in the evenings feel like hell and it wont ever stop you have to just breathe#you will stop breathing well and you wont notice it so you have to remember to breathe deeply. this helps immensely for some reason#2) you will stop processing the existence of food as a consumable thing and not just an object like Table or Cardboard. you will not want to#eat anything. you have to buy meal replacement shakes. sweetness is one of the only pleasant flavours. eat protein. eat as much protein as#you can. down those meal replacament shakes. get enough for a day. try not to into calorie deficits on vyvanse.#3) your mind will be searching for cognitively complex tasks and everything else dwarfs in comparison. dont lay down. do something.#4) you have to exercise. fully exercise at the gym not a home 20 min work out. you need to push your body right now so that you can be ok#5) nothing will be as intense and vivid and beautiful and there will be a layer of seperation between you snd reality even on a lower dosage#this is fine. this is the primary price. sunlight helps and so does doing complex tasks but you cant avoid this. remind yourself that this#is a self-induced thing and its temporary and itll fade.#6) youve been ship of theseus'd into a new person and this effect only increases later into the day. any conclusion you reach about yourself#is most likely not applicable to your non-vyvanse self.#7) carry chapstick around. keep drinking water. dry mouth starts 5 minutes after taking it#8) some of your friends have a reduced range of emotion and this makes them more stable but less capable of experiencing intense joys#and sadnesses. look at them. listen to their perspective. live like them when youre on the medication.#9) music is still gorgeous#10) you will feel very hot very fast. wear layers you can take off.#11) pick up a bow and shoot. keep shooting. keep going. shoot at least 50 arrows if you can. feel the pain in your arms and your shoulders#and then keep shooting.

rly don't know if i have an ed or if it's just depression or what but my motivation to eat has been almost nonexistent for the past 3-4 weeks it's gotten so bad i wanna cry (but tbh it's always kinda been a problem since i was a kid lol). basically rn i can bring myself to drink smoothies and maybe small snacks like fruit, yogurt, chocolate, salad... the only food that seems appetizing is pizza lmao and i usually only eat one meal a day if even that. idkk why it's so hard like fuck im so hungry all the time. i'm incredibly picky when it comes to food and don't really derive much joy from eating except for a small handful of things, so i'm guessing that is the main factor, but even things that i previously enjoyed just aren't doing it for me anymore. i'm v frustrated about this and i should prob see a professional but tbh i'm scared of what they'll tell me lmao. like fr i don't want to get put into inpatient or something brooo i just want to enjoy eating like everyone else fuck!!!

good news!!! my rheumatologist was basically an entirely different person today! i mean it was literally the same person as last time but she was way more attentive and actually, like, did her job 🤷🏼‍♀️ physical exam and all of the questions and everything ✨ also she didn’t mention my weight or tell me to go on a diet like last time but i am down to 221 pounds and i would like to thank my protein shakes which have definitely helped me from binge eating or eating unhealthy shit 😂
