Adam confused upon seeing all the angels surround Lucifer. Lilith and Eve tried to grab into him as he passes but he shrugs them off.

Adam: w-what’s going on?

Lucifer: Adam! You’re here!

Sera: Do not address the first human! You have betrayed fathers will!

Lucifer: shut up! You don’t know what you’re talking about!

Sera: Lucifer you have been found guilty on trying to corrupt humanity

Lucifer: corrupt!? Is that what you’re calling it!? It wasn’t corruption! I just wanted Adam!

Sera: You tried to give him the apple of knowledge before he was ready, before any of the humans were ready!

Lucifer: I love him!

Sera: you almost damned him!

Growling, Lucifers white wings begin to turn red. He turns to Adam who had come to close in his naive innocence

Lucifer: Adam! Adam! I love you! I love you so much! You can trust me okay! The other angels they lied to you, they’ve manipulated you! I’m the only one who’s looking out for you!

Adam: I don’t understand. Why are you hurting Lucifer?

Sera: stay back Adam, it’s for your own good

Adam: but lucifer has never hurt me

He moves closer towards the Angel. Lucifer seeing as it might be his wonky change grabs into Adam wrist

Lucifer: I love you Adam, don’t you see what they’re trying to do ? They’re trying to keep us apart!

Adam jumps as the ground below them begins to grumble away. He struggles to keep himself on the grassy ground of Eden.

Lucifer: remember what we talked about!? Remember what you said!? You told ME you don’t want to be controlled and dictated! That you don’t want to be used as a farming cow!

Adams eyes beginning tear up, growing wide with confusion. Lucifer is beginning to tug him down into the pit with him. It gets to the point where Adams on his knees at the edge of the hole.

Lucifer: You said you wanted to be free!? If you come with me now you can be free with me!

Adam is extremely overwhelmed and confused. Lucifers fingers are beginning to grow into black claws and are now piercing into Adam flesh. Horror struck Adam as horns begin to project from Lucifers head and a stream of blood runs down Lucifers face.

Lucifer: I love you Adam. I meant what I said about teaching you what love is…

Using divine magic, Sera intervenes in the nick of time and is able to save Adam from being dragged into the pit with Lucifer.

Adam is traumatised, confused and terrified at what just happened. He sits back on his knees as the ground closes up and eventually the angels return to heaven. Lilith and eve approach him in matching confusion.

I guess it was liliths idea to share the apple that Lucifer had tried to feed to Adam, Adam refuses it but Eve eats it. The two girls are banished from Eden but Adam decides to go with them encase they need help. He does father children with both of them but there’s no romantic love between them. Adam becomes more of an uncle as Lilith and Eve grows to love one another and raise their children together as a family.

Still scared from what happened years ago in Eden, Adam keeps to himself. He doesn’t entertain relationships or love because lucifer frightened him that day. He has permeated scaring in his wrist from lucifer trying to take him to hell with him.

Once Adam dies and goes to heaven, he just wants to be a hermit and live in his room. He’s that socially awkward guy lol it was going great! Until word accidentally gets out to Lucifer that Adams in Heaven now and he has a shot!!

Cue unreasonable demands during the Hell and Heaven meetings and almost childish tantrums lol

Adam one day being taken to the headquarters of heaven by Emily. They meet sera waiting for them in the corridor. She appears annoyed, tired and stressed but she relaxes when she sees him.

Adam: um why do I have to attend this meeting?

Sera: it…let’s just say it’ll help everyone of you begin to attend these meetings Adam..

On the other side of the realm, Lucifer is cockily sitting in the meeting chair and legs crossed on the table while looking at his claws.

Lucifer: wonder how they’ll deal with my new demands? It’s just a matter of time before I see my darling again ~

He glances at the thick red scroll sitting on the table with a crooked smirk. Unraveled it was almost the length of the whole pentagram city.

Lucifer: can’t wait to see sera’s face when she sees that

Lucifer you little shit lmao Him throwing the biggest bitch fit until he can see Adam again is the best thing I love that for him.

He almost got Adam to fall with him.

Bet he's still mad it didn't happen and that Sera was the one to stop it.

She's taken a leap of absence

Her body laid numbly under Adam's foot, the blood seeping up her throat as she coughed it out onto herself.

The static noise grew as Alastor watched Adam's foot dig deeper into his beloved's chest.

"Get your dirty foot off of her." He growls, his dark black shadowy tentacles extending from his back as they ready to rip the first man apart.

"Haha I don't think so. Dirty ungrateful sinners like you and her don't deserve life even in the darkest depts of hell. So, I'm going to do everyone a favor and kill her." Adam laughs, his egotistical voice coming out proud and confident.

Snarling Alastor's body grows, his limbs cracking as Adam stares up in horror.

"What are you." He says disgusted, before shaking his head putting back on his confident and proud exterior. "I'm not scared of some sinner." He laughs.

"Al' just let it be. I-" She coughs harshly, her voice coming out weakly. "I don't want you t-to get hurt. Please." She pleads.

Alastor's eyes land on his wife's dying body causing his anger to spike again, his tentacle limbs grabbing Adam.

"Fuck you." He states, ripping his body off of his wife's before throwing him into the air where Charlie waited for him.

Before anyone knew it, Alastor grabbed her before his shadows allowed them both to sink into ground disappearing from everyone's sight.

Landing in his broadcasting studio, Alastor looked around for a spot on the ground that hadn't been destroyed yet. Finding a spot her carefully sat her against a panel, his eyes searching her body for the injury that he knew was killing her.

"Al' it's ok." She said softly, reaching her hand up to cup his cheek.

"No." He states desperately his eyes unfocused as they fly around hoping to think of something, anything. "I-I have to think of something. You can't die on me again." He whimpers, the radio filter that always covers his old voice now off. Desperation clear in everything he does.

"Oh, my sweet boy. There's nothing we can do now." Smiling weakly at the man before coughing as she bends over to the side, the puddle of blood growing. "Just lay with me. Please." She says lip quivering as she tries to hold her calm exterior for his sake.

"Please don't leave me. Everyone always leaves me." His lips quivers as the tears start to pool down his face. She was the only person he would let himself go for, the only person who see this side of him.

Sliding down the panel next to her, he carefully lifts her into his lap before setting her down. Laying her head on his shoulder she places a kiss on the junction between his neck and collarbone.

"I'm not leaving you; I promise. I'll always be here even if you can't see me, my love."

Alastor listens to her breathing weaken as she nears the end of her life. His heart breaking deeper as her breaths get softer and softer.

"I love you so much, please understand that I'm not leaving by choice." She says, wanting him to know that she would never leave him no matter what. "This isn't your fault my love. Please do not blame yourself once I'm gone." She pleads.

"Ok." He whimpers. "I love you so much. I'm so sorry I couldn't give you a child like you always wanted."

Chuckling weakly, she reaches up and pulls his head down softly to look at her eye to eye. "I only ever wanted a child because it would give me another reminder of you, my love. You're all I've ever wanted."

Sniffling, Alastor leans down and places his lips on hers. All his love and sadness put into this one kiss. All he wanted was a few more minutes, a few more hours with her, but alas everything has to end at some point. Kissing back, she uses the last of her energy, smiling into it.

Alastor felt her kissing back until she wasn't. Her body laying limp in his arms.

"No. No, no, no, no!" He yells clutching her body closer to his. Now sobbing he nuzzles his head into her hair, wanting to drown in her scent.

"Where's Alastor and Scarlett?" Charlie asks the group worriedly.

"I don't know I haven't seen them since-" Vaggie was cut off by the appearance of Alastor, his large smiles straining on his face. His appearance disheveled, the small tear stains on his cheeks noticeable to everyone but Charlie as they all look down in sadness and guilt. Angel with tears in his eyes, Husk and Vaggie giving sympathetic looks.

"Oh Alastor!" Charlie says happily. "We were so worried. Where is-" She continues only to get cut off by Vaggie's hand on her shoulder as she shook her head silently, glum look on her face.

Charlie looks at Vaggie for a second in confusion before gasping, her hands flying towards her mouth, eyes tearing up.

"It seems Scarlett is taking a leap of absence for a while. With that I will also be taking my leave. Good day." He says his normal radio voice absent, as he trails off before turning around and leaving the hotel. Little did the rest of the group know, that would be the last they saw of him for a while...

SAW: (unrated) rant

Okay. I just watched the unrated version of Saw (2004) in theaters. So for some reason, they alter the ending for the unrated version of Saw. I have no idea why they chose to do this. I didn't see much discussion going over the details so I thought I'd go over it and why I think its inferior to the original cut. (Forgive me if I seem nitpick-y, I just love the original film so much haha. Totally fine if you like the unrated ver., I'm just sharing my thoughts here.)

To start, the unrated is advertised as a version with more gore/blood, which it does fine on that part. There are a few extra seconds of shots, for instance, the scene where Amanda is sifting through organs, some of the crime scene photos, and the wire trap maze is slightly longer. Here is a good article that goes over the Director's Cut with more details if you are interested. (I believe the Director's Cut is the same, if not very similar, to the unrated version? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.) Also, I think the colors are also less blue? I can't confirm this though. I believe there may be a few other details changed as well, but they're not super relevant. Feel free to share any ones I'm missing just for fun though.

These extra shots are fine, thumbs up emoji. My problem starts and ends with the final moments of Saw (unrated). This is Tumblr. You all know the ending to Saw and are probably obsessed with it. It's incredibly impactful and angsty. Its one of my favorite ending sequences of all time. I still think about Adam being left to die alone often. RIP.

Now, lets go over what's changed in Saw (unrated)'s ending:

Some of the final lines are cut out. (Why???)

For some reason, they cut the line where Adam asks, "Am I gonna be okay?" and Larry turns back and says, "I wouldn't lie to you." Why would they do this? I don't know. I can only speculate. Maybe they thought that it contradicted with Lawrence's character, since he is in fact a liar/adulterer? Maybe they thought it was too "hopeful"? Homophobia? (joke)

I think that it's really a shame, because it makes Larry much more likable imo. This one moment is representative of his character development in the film. There are a lot of complex emotions tied with that one line. For once, Lawrence isn't lying to Adam. He truly does want to help. At the same time, you can tell that he feels uncertain. He doesn't know if he actually will be able to make it back in time (if even at all).

Notice how he responds to Adam's question in a roundabout way. He doesn't know if Adam will be okay.

In a way, Jigsaw's trap did work. Lawrence learned empathy. LMAO. It is also makes Adam so much more tragic, any last glimmers of hope he had left get ripped away as soon as he realizes that Jigsaw isn't who he thought it was. They are both fucked. (Ignore that Saw 3D exists for a second here, lol. I definitely think that the original implication here was that Larry is screwed. Either Kramer gets to him, or he bleeds out.)

2. The end credits are changed.

Saw ends with Adam's haunting screams bleeding into the end credits. There's about 20-30 seconds of silence/very subtle music. Then, it leads into the song "Bite The Hand that Bleeds" by Fear Factory. I just LOVE the angst.

Now, lets see what the unrated version is like. (I had to really dig to find this lol.) Obviously, there is no longer licensed music. It instead plays the "Saw theme". (I believe Hello Zepp/Overture is the official name of the song?)

It's...fine. (Once again, forgive me for nitpicking. I'm starting to think that I may be overreacting a bit, lol.)

I sort of understand why they would change the licensed music. It makes the first film feel more "connected" with the sequels; now they all have matching theme songs. (Another idea is that they simply didn't get the rights back to the original song for the re-release. I'd have to do more research on this.) However, it still makes me sad, lol. I just love how edgy and aggressively 2000s the original end credits feel. It matches the film's tone so well imo. The filmography of Saw reminds me a lot of early 2000s nu-metal music videos (unique colors, over-edited to hell, etc.).

I want to really emphasize the importance of film preservation in this post. Thankfully, the original theatrical cut of Saw is pretty easily accessible. (However, this isn't the case for all films. Star Wars is probably the most famous example.) I am just a little saddened that some first-time viewers will end up watching this version of the film without being aware of these changes. I love Saw so much you guys

Some problems i had with the finale in hazbin hotel

now before i start i just wanna say that i absolutely love and adore this show with all of my heart but with that being said i can still recognize its flaws and god does it have some

lets get one of the most obvious things out of the way first. charlie did literally nothing. she hit adam once or twice and he beat the shti out of her which was just a dumb excuse to have lucifer show up nad beat the shit out of him.

but more on that later. charlie is the main character and she only gets the motivation to go full 'god mode' when sir pentious dies? even then she didnt do anything. dazzle ends up dying but oh well its fine (or razzle i cant remember). she stabs adam once and even then he beats her up more than anything. hes powerful yes but charlie couldve put up more of a fight

she even has a song in episode 7 about taking charge but honestly... she doesnt really do that. actually sir pentious had a better arc than her and we hardly see him throughout the entire show

sir pentious' death was fine we see him gearing up and it was kinda leading onto the big scene where he would take on adam but...

bro got obliterated in less than like a second and then adam made a joke off of it. tbh at this moment i started laughing so hard because goddamn was it hilarious but then you have charlie and the hotel mourning it like not even five seconds after- like half a second after the joke.

the tonal whiplash of that scene was just... ugh-

like i didnt care about it being serious because guess what? im already laughing at the joke like everything that i cared for about him just thrown into the gutter because guess what? haha funny :)

but for that to be what makes charlie go into her full form still makes me mad- ugh

A beat passes as you both stare at each other, before the soft pitter patter of rain bounces off the the tent roof and breaks the silence. And just like how the sky opened up, Leon finds himself wanting to speak what's on his mind as well.

"My feelings for you never changed either. Even when I was back in Australia, all I ever thought about was you." He shuffles closer, "But we're reunited again, aren't we? This time, I'm not going anywhere. I belong by your side."

So for once, nothing angsty, but something more fluffy! ANd its based on food!

So I think, if I remember right anyway, canon Alastor does not like fast food or like food similar to it, and that kind of implies to Radio Guard Alastor too. To a degree tho. He very much would rather cook than have take-out, but also he is not complaining if you wanna give him the egg and spring rolls from the Chinese takeout. It is mainly when he super tired though or had an exhausting day and just has no energy to cook for the gang, since I imagine he may have took over the cooking duties of the hotel.

And now for everyone's favorite types of foods and or flavors of stuff! Alastor-Def prefers more homecooked meals, doesn't matter what, if its homecooked, he will probably enjoy. Does however lean more towards spicy stuff. Man loves spicy dishes, be it a painful spice or a comforting one. Def knows all types of Louisiana cooking and is so happy to share them to others.

Charlie-More on the sweeter side of things. Probably has a love of homecooked food too, mainly like breakfast foods I imagine. But probably also likes fruity stuff too (haha get it because she's the daughter of the Morningstar aka the Devil, the one responsible for Adam and Eve eating the Forbidden Fruit //bonked). Probably loves more baked good spices too? So like cinnamon apple stuff would be her favs

Vaggie-Spice and bitter girlie I imagine personally. She will take her coffee black with a spot of cream or milk while chomping on ghost pepper dusted chips like it was nothing. Can also, for some reason, see Vaggie was a soup girlie. Idk, she gives soup girl vibes. Probably loves spicy veggie soups that just warm you up. Ignoring the fact they are in hell and hell is probably already super hot.

Angel Dust-Def ate like junkie munchie foods. Like cheap, really gross and greasy food. Didn't like it, but it hit the spot. If not that, then super healthier, lean foods, since lets be honest, Valentino would his workers on extreme health diets so they would stay "pretty", so the whiplash of foods probs wrecked Angel's stomach. Now, while trying to go sober and in a safer and healthier environment, Angel def enjoys trying to cook Italian food he remembers his pa or ma making. Would like baking more me thinks

Husk-Bar food. Husk is like Angel, he is eating junkie bar food to use the grease to curve his later hangover. Maybe not as much anymore, but its still there. Alastor does get on him, now more so in a place of concern for Husk's well being. Honestly probs better just making drinks but I can see Husk knowing how to work the kitchen too. Def the type to go to if you have the late night munchies since he knows how to make the most killer late night meals

Nifty-Sugar. Just. Pure. Sugar. She is the type to dump marshmallow fluff on a pizza its that insane. She knows how to cook, sure! And she can cook well with others, yes! Alone in the kitchen? Haha no. Your food is gonna somehow end up in lime jello and taste like you liked the bottom of Willy Wonka's boot. Just dont.

Sir Pentious-Probably doesnt really mind anything. As a snack he def has a more meat based diet which took some time to get used too. Probably likes more mild to bitter foods than anything else. Like the Brit he is, he is def drinking tea with everything. Probs also likes egg based dishes since some snakes do eat eggs. Probably mainly bird eggs, like quill or chicken. So egg bois are safe!

Lucifer-Dont think Luci has a pref. For a good long while it was just whatever he could find in the kitchen after staying locked up in his workshop for days on end. So bowls of dry cereal or pb&js to name a few. It took being forced out of his workshop by Alastor (and seeking therapy by Alastor and Charlie's request yeas later) that Lucifer started to eat more. Like his daughter he loves fruity sweets, and as a given likes pancakes. Probs makes killer cinnamon apple pancakes.

Vox-Probs cheating to say Alastor's cooking, but it is Alastor's cooking. Def has more of a spice tolerance than other Voxs hfdsjkf. Outside of that, probably any more homey foods. Or cheaper stuff like ramen since he never wanted to leave his room at V Towers. Def survived on energy drinks that tasted horribly sweet but kept him going at the tower too. You can imagine his utter joy when at the hotel when he just got to eat proper cooked food again, especially Alastor's

Something I Love About the Show/Movie: I honestly don’t know if I loved it. I mean. I’ve recommended it on multiple lists but it was triggering, I bawled my eyes out, I had to stop watching part way for over a month because it devastated me and, after everything, it ended so unfairly. Watching Banana Fish is an experience that festers within me that I am occasionally compelled to relive. So maybe there’s something to be said for a story that can inspire that in a way that lasts (I’ve literally only watched it once and won’t again). Maybe I just love the idea of a broken person who can still be loved and regarded gently without condition.

SK8 THE INFINITY

Favorite Character: Kaoru “Cherry” Sakurayashiki, he’s so gender.

Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: this is one series that justifiably has a beach episode if only to set up Miya cockblocking Joe. Joe will never beat the Down-Bad-For-Kaoru allegations, either.

Character I Think is Underrated: Miya. I feel like there’s more unexplored lore RE: Adam, his relationship with food and, of course, his relationship with his parents and peers. Oka is another sleeper but I think I was just intrigued by the fanon idea of Oka from fan art

Character I Think is Overrated:

Favorite Ship/Pairing: MatchaBlossom, also, knowing Kaoru and Adam had some fling or something pre-MB is precisely what I mean when I say your favorite characters wouldn’t just settle down. Let them be messy like people, it’s better for the lore.

Something I Love About the Show/Movie: I love a show I can share with my niece and nephew but, more than that, the music was a VIBE.

ATTACK ON TITAN

Favorite Character: Levi Ackerman

Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: Erwin’s galvanizing speech in Shinganshina. 🔪💔 Or the big reveal at the castle tower when the main cast were just recruits under scrutiny. Their outlandish victory there.

Character I Think is Underrated: Poor Moblit had to put up with so much hahaha respected Hange's pronouns, supported their eccentricity (with caution) and was an absolute ride or die.

Character I Think is Overrated: Eren Jaeger.

Favorite Ship/Pairing: Eruri

Something I Love About the Show/Movie: the exposition. Not by the spoonful but, instead, by the shock of a snapping jaw. With the subject matter being as heavy as it is, the world building unfurled in such a way that you, as the viewer, are an ignorant person behind the wall. You learned things as the characters, namely the main trio, came to understand them. They grew up with your expanding world view, their innocence falling away as the harsh reality of the world they lived in shifted into focus and it was done so elegantly that you never see the next big twist coming. Even with all the easter eggs you come to realize after the fact!

WOTAKOI: LOVE IS HARD FOR OTAKU

Favorite Character: Hanako Koyanagi and Hirotaka Nifuji are like neck and neck

Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: Not only finding out that Hanako cosplays but that she is like renowned for her handsome characters.

Character I Think is Underrated: Naoya Nifuji - I kinda feel like there's not a thought behind those eyes but so, so nice. Also, well meaning chaos when he almost blows Hirotaka's cover. But, see what I mean?

Character I Think is Overrated:

Favorite Ship/Pairing: Both of the main two couples have some issues but.. isn't that real life? So.. Hanako and Taro even though they argue, the love runs deep

Something I Love About the Show/Movie: It's so relatable ✨ (see above)

JUJUTSU KAISEN

Favorite Character: So many, honestly. Gojo, Nanami and Nobara are just top tier, in my opinion for many reasons.

Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: Toss up between Nobara and Yuji becoming accomplices because the trio were really stepping up while trying to undo that curse or the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc in setting the stage for everything.

Character I Think is Underrated: Nanami Kento. I talk a lot about Geto Suguru being doomed by the narrative but maybe it's just any earnest man in jujutsu society. It's why Gojo tests to make sure his students are crazy before accepting them.

Character I Think is Overrated: Toji Zenin. Don't get me wrong, character wise, he's zesty and he's so grossly mischaracterized that it makes me question people's reading comprehension. He's an interesting wildcard whose omitted background, I think, will boomerang back into the story. But some of the fan obsession is a bit out of my realm of understanding.

Favorite Ship/Pairing: *gestures vaguely to the rest of my blog* SatoSugu, but it's pretty casual.

Something I Love About the Show/Movie: Surprisingly, the prevalence of alternative representation and bad ass female cast that subverts typical shonen fodder. But also, the fact that the chaos that is seemingly bringing on the end of the world in the current timeline is literally thanks to two teenagers who would willingly fight a god but couldn't be honest about how they felt 10 years ago. There are so many "if only's" in this series, it's maddening, actually.

MY HERO ACADEMIA

Favorite Character: Katsuki Bakugo

Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: All Might vs. AFO as Bakugo and Deku watch from a distance.

Character I Think is Underrated: Tokoyami. Having placed third in the sports festival, Tokoyami appreciation is still not loud enough for me. Locks down an internship with the Number 2 hero. Bears the burden of a heteromorph quirk while locked in an eternal effort to subjugate Dark Shadow. Has presumably stellar taste in music and poetry. Kid is legitimately fearsome and, yet, people don’t put enough respect on him even though he’s lowkey also OP.

Character I Think is Overrated: I’m going to get some hate for this but.. All Might. His arrested development may not be his fault but misguiding Midoriya out of some misplaced sense of ego or obligation was so frustrating when he's the adult in the situation. I just think he deserves more slander.

Favorite Ship/Pairing: BakuDeku and/or EraserMic (fanon EraserMic content is always just 😘����🏾) but there are a lot of great ones to choose from, I have plenty of faves.

Something I Love About the Show/Movie: The idea that anyone can be a hero and, inversely, that anyone can be a villain. The latter stemming from the fact that you don’t know who you are in other people’s story, nor how close you are to ruin with one lapse in judgement. There’s a persisting idea of redemption while a lot of the heavy hitters in this conflict are entrenched in generations' worth of unrest. Think about Compress, Geten's family (not calling out a spoiler here but IYKYK), Redestro, All For One, One for All... the list goes on and on. I have a draft somewhere about this but got too busy to put all my thoughts down for a lot of theories I had for MHA. So maybe I also love that it's a story that has always kept me guessing in a really constructive way. Lastly, with such a huge, nuanced ensemble cast, I think a lot of people are able to see themselves in the context of these characters which is really unique.

Okay, so, excitingly enough, this was actually a requested game! Not only was it requested, but it was requested by the dev themselves. Allow me to flex for a singular second or two.

No, like, deadass, can everyone just forget about the game for two seconds and focus on me? Like, I'm actually hype about this! I didn't have to go game hunting! The game hunted for me. THE DEV hunted for ME. I'm just mad excited about that. That being said, if you didn't know you could send me requests, now you know lol.

Anywho, so, the game!

Admittedly, this game was a lot better than initially expected? If you've read my reviews before, you know I'm conceited and want to be absolutely immersed and live out my sick, twisted fantasy by self-inserting. Unfortunately, this game isn't a self-insert, and the start was a lil' slow, not gonna lie, but like once shit started rolling? I no longer cared about the lack of self-insert because lmaooooo it got kinda wild.

There really is something so lit about a game that you're like "...Yeah, I don't think I'm feeling this" or "I don't think I'm going to vibe with this" but then you're suddenly super invested, and you're just sitting there like "What the hell is going on?!". I can honestly say that that was exactly what happened, and gods damn it, am I glad that I stuck around for the madness.

That all being said, I think the intro is long enough. Let's get into the game, because lowkey excited to tell you guys about it. As always, I will give you as much information as possible without actually spoiling it because you just may have to gotta, really, totally play this for yourself

So, boom.

We do the generic wake up in the morning feelin' like PDiddy thing and welcome the day with positivity. After admiring the sky for a little, we notice that there is that good breakfast smell in the air and rush into the kitchen, but not before putting on the glasses that our loving boyfriend always reminds us to wear -- don't wanna trip over any steps or anything like that haha ha... ANYWAYS!

Before we see the breakfast, though, we see the absolute snack that's in front of us. The snack is bae, and the bae's name is Declan. Look at this little cinnamon roll.

To go off topic for a bit, I've seen cuter/more hot LI's but this one got the "adorkably cute" aesthetic pretty good, because he is lol. He's a dorky cute, and frankly, it's fitting.

Anywho, so we exchange our good mornings, eat our breakfast, and help Declan clean, even though he's adamant that we don't have to. I mean, sure, we could've not helped, but what kind of partner doesn't help with household chores?! Nah, we're gonna help the bae! So, we do, and...we get hurt in the process. It hurts, and Declan's freaking out a bit, but we get patched up -- even though we're not bleeding or anything -- and life is all good again.

We get dressed, making sure to wear our super cozy jacket to make sure we don't get cold -- even though, we're never cold but Declan always insists that we are -- and get our day with Declan officially started, but not before this weird little quip happens.

See, Declan gets a call from work, right, and he's trying to explain to them that we still aren't well after our car accident. Apparently, it was pretty bad, and we got some kind of amnesia from it, so Declan took some time off work to get us reacclimated to...well, life, but corporate ain't trying to hear that and told him to bring his ass back into work, like, yesterday. So, Declan somewhat finesses it and is able to get an extra day, but he's super sad that he has to leave us, and the feeling is definitely mutual. No worries though! Why? Because we've still got two days, so why not just make the most of it while he's here with us! Until...he falls ill, that is.

So, us being the amazing girlfriend that we is, we take care of Declan like he's been taking care of us. After a little while, Declan just opts for sleep, and we let him do so. Sleep does help a lot when you're sick, after all!

Tending to ourselves, we try to make ourselves a fat bowl of totally not Lucky Charms, but Luck Jewels -- totally different, and not at all the same, so don't argue with or "@" me. Whether we're eating knock off Lucky Charms or a totally different cereal doesn't matter though because there's not really any of it left except the dust, not to mention we totally wrecked the shelf while trying to find something else to eat.

This is a bit of a problem because we don't have a screwdriver to fix the shelf, and we're still damned hungry! We don't really have any choice but to go to the store, but for some reason, Declan's really weird about us leaving the house since we're still struggling with amnesia and remembering how certain things work, let alone how to actually do it properly or so he tells us. So, we put on a brave face, get dressed, take some money from his wallet, and head on out!

While scoping out the supermarket, we make note of these really bomb cupcakes in the window of a bakery and make a note to visit another day, but right now, we're on a mission, and we must stay focused, my bois! As planned, we get in there, get our cereal and a screwdriver. Okay! So far so good! Well, our plan kind've diverged when we run into this girl, and...huh...

She damn sure looks...

...a lot like us. More than a lot, actually. She's pretty much an exact copy. Well, that's...slightly uncomfortable and extremely confusing.

Clearly, she's thinking the same thing about us because she kind've rushes out before we can think any more about it or even say anything to her about it. We decide to follow suit and rush home ourselves to fix the shelf and finally eat something! We messed up a little though because we had gotten hurt -- again -- and Declan isn't exactly wearing glasses for no reason; he immediately noticed. We handle it pretty well though through some innocence and tears, and Declan drops the topic as soon as it comes up. Everything is gucci, again, and we're able to move on with our day and go to bed like normal.

The next day rolls around, Declan goes to work, and we officially have the house to ourself and our trusted stuffed companion, Bruce. After some debate, we decide that today is the day we could go to that Bakery that we saw and get some of those cupcakes that we saw in the window. When we get there, something really odd happens.

The guy who works in the bakery is talking to us like he knows us, even going as far as to mention our dad. He starts trying to follow up with us and mentioned stuff about a break up, and this evil man, and someone named Mittens and...what the hell is this guy talking about?

So, of course, we're just standing there, because we came in for cupcakes, and this man just comes out of the woodwork with all this...information, and we don't know how to respond to any of it, but here's the even wilder part. Remember that doppelgänger we had saw yesterday? She's ends up coming into the bakery during all of this, and immediately, the man takes note of his mistake and allows us to go on our way. Like...what the hell was that?

Whatever though, we eat some of our cupcakes, hide the rest when Declan comes home, skip dinner (for obvious reasons), and get to bed. Fast forwarding a bit, we end up leaving out again, and we're feeling a bit adventurous and decide to buy some hair dye to color our hair like the girl that we saw because...well, we thought it was super pretty, and we wanted to be pretty, too, so it felt like the right thing to do lol. It...didn't come out well.

Like, at all. Aside from the absolute disaster that our hair came out to be, we have an even bigger worry: How is Declan going to react when he sees us?

Yeah, that's...what I thought.

Well, now...this is damned embarrassing, but still, Declan is our sweet and loving boyfriend! He loves us! Surely he wouldn't think it silly of us to want to dye our hair. Surely he wouldn't make fun of us for failing so miserably. Surely he wouldn't get angry that we snuck out to buy the hair dye. Surely he wouldn't get angry when he figures out that this wasn't our first time sneaking out. Surely he wouldn't lash out and turn into someone he isn't...

Surely not.

And that's all I'm going to tell you! Aht, aht! Don't make that face! You know that I (usually) never tell you about how a visual novel ends! You gots to play it for yourself if you want to know how it ends, and trust me, you're going to want to know. Just a tip, this isn't even the "true" ending, and believe me when I say...

It gets pretty wild.

Okay, so this game is actually pretty good!

Y'all know I wouldn't lie to you, even if a dev specifically asks me to review their game, and let me tell you, I was not feeling it at first. I honestly truly wasn't. The start was kinda slow, there was a side-sprite of the MC, and there wasn't an option to put your own name in. I was pretty bummed because one of the main things for me is the option to self-insert, so for me, the game was kinda doomed from the start, and I probably wouldn't have downloaded it if I was just scrolling along and saw this game on my own, but listeeeeeen.

The plot itself, while it's nothing super innovative or anything, it was pretty damn solid. I really want to tell you the specifics but it would literally ruin the game as a whole. Honestly, from the title and just what I told you, you can probably gather what's going on, but how everything goes down and the information that we find out and ultimately how it all ends is a bit wild.

It's not a super choice heavy game, but the choices that are available -- and pay attention because this is about to be a "pro not really pro but something I think would be helpful to point out" tip! -- are essentially options that dictate how the second half of the story goes and what points you to the "bad" ending, the "good" ending, and the "true" ending, so keep that in mind.

The only gripe I have about the game is that the title is kind've a dead giveaway as to what's going on, especially when you play through like the first couple "scenes" or so of the game. Other than that, it's a pretty good read! It definitely kept me interested despite it being more "novely" (if you read my other review, that's a word I use to describe visual novels that have a more linear story line). Not to mention, the art style was pretty damn adorbs, and I liked that there was a lot of different CGs. I haven't run across a visual novel yet that's had as many CGs as this one has, so that was definitely a welcomed change because...well, I like art/drawings lol. Like, look at some of these images!

Ugh, the amount of CGs just scratched my brain so correctly. I am a visual novel CG slut, I tell ya. Anytime there's a CG in a visual novel? I'm all over that shit. I love CGs. CGs for life. CGs forever.

Okay, that's enough gushing about the CGs...

What fandoms or franchises do you think they are in or follow? Could be podcast related, Reddit forums they are a part of, movie sequels or trilogies or novels!

Definitely something that should be mentioned more in canon comics so let’s use this as a manifesting moment by detailing it out 🤭

Right off the bat, I have to make it clear to absolutely everyone that Barry is 100% a Trekkie and Hal is most likely a Star Wars fan. And while we’re on the most heated sci-fi debate, I’ll add that once Hal and Barry became friends and Barry learned more about the Green Lantern Corps he undoubtedly introduced Hal to Star Trek and successfully convinced him that it was the superior sci-fi franchise, we stan two Trekkies 😜

Now then, I don’t think Hal would be very into book series or fantasy in general but he’d definitely have a particular interest in the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings trilogy and I think he’d try Game of Thrones and The Witcher because of everyone’s recommendations but would probably not like it very much. He’s the noble-type though and would be pretty easily convinced to read the Lord of the Rings books (including the Hobbit and Silmarillion) because of the nobility of the characters and story. Same reasoning goes for Donita K. Paul’s DragonSpell series. He’d also probably be into the writings of Henry David Thoreau, Ernest Hemingway, and Raymond Carver, not hugely into them necessarily but if he was super bored and he had access to their stuff he’d dig it haha. His favorite poem would also probably be Tennyson’s In Memoriam A.H.H.. I don’t see him being too into podcasts, but he’d definitely like rock bands like Foreigner and AC/DC. He’s also definitely into movies more so than tv shows and would love movies like The Right Stuff, Top Gun, Braveheart, The Patriot, John Wick, most blockbusters classics really, and probably anything with Bruce Lee haha. He’d probably think anime/manga was for nerds until someone pointed out that Dragon Ball Z was, in fact, an anime then he’d realize they can be pretty cool hahaha. And with video games, I’d say he absolutely doesn’t have the patience for long form RPGs but can probably be convinced to play some FPSs with friends like Call of Duty and Halo lol. Basically, this was a long way of saying that Hal is probably more sporty, not in an obsessive fan of sports way, mind you, just that he participated in mostly sports growing up and even as an adult probably prefers hanging out playing baseball with kids (Adams’ GL run has an adorable scene of just that) rather than watching/reading/listening to anything so essentially he’s just not very media-obsessed; he’s a doer! He also probably wouldn’t participate in the fandoms of any of the media he does consume because he cares more about engaging with the media itself rather than about others’ thoughts and feelings on it haha.

Onto Barry, honestly, Barry is kind of tougher for me to figure out purely because I feel like he and I are very similar so I’m inclined to list basically all my favorite things and my thought processes haha, but I’ll try to avoid doing that 😝. So, like I said, Barry is definitely a Trekkie, the Federation’s belief in preserving alien lives and lifestyles plus its dedication to exploration and science all appeals to his inner nerd. He probably loves the shows For All Mankind, The X-Files, and Bones because of their science-y natures (he definitely introduced Hal to For All Mankind and it’s one of the shows they watch together haha). We all know he’s a huge comic book fan (shout-out to Pre-Crisis that had him reading Golden Age Flash comics 😜), but I’ll also add that I think this love of Golden Age Flash, thanks to his mom, would have led to his own love of Greek and Roman mythology once he realized where the idea for Jay Garrick’s helmet and shoes came from! A love of mythology would eventually lead to a love of ancient western philosophy and writings then to Medieval romances like the Arthurian legends and the works of Chaucer. Old English stuff would’ve crept in there too starting with Beowulf. He was an old soul from a young age so all these things would’ve caught his eye on trips to the library and the old-fashioned romantic notions and chivalry has definitely stayed with him. All this appreciation for much older works would then slingshot back around to him loving and appreciating more modern works that took heavy inspiration from all this older literature like The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings, the Percy Jackson series, the Harry Potter series, the Codex Alera, and the Dresden Files, oh and all the detective novels, just all, from Doyle, Christie, Poe, Hammett, etc. then when he found foreign detective fiction he’d go mental and just read them all haha. He’d also probably read the Remo Williams and Jack Reacher book series and convince Hal to do the same! I’d say he’s also into old movies and classic tv shows because they all make him feel good with their sweet morals and happy endings. He’s probably not much of a gamer except for the ones with good stories, he’s too interested in learning new things to just watch someone else play though, if a game’s story interests him then he’s definitely playing it himself. Mass Effect is probably one of his secret favorites. He’s super into podcasts, anything informational and/or scientific, probably conspiratorial and/or true crime stuff, too, if for nothing else than to help him get inspiration on how to approach his own cases, he may even try and solve some cold cases that he hears about (he’d probably stumble across Black Box Down then convince Hal to listen with him haha). He definitely grew up with both the Pokémon TCG and show and was actually aware that it was an anime so is likewise somewhat into other very popular anime/manga like Naruto. Music would be jazz (he’d try and fail to get Hal into it, too, see: New 52 Flash’s Annual #2), 60s rock like the Beatles and the Monkees, and probably 80s pop like the Culture Club, oh and Air Supply (which is also Hal’s guilty pleasure band hehe). He likes sports a lot, both playing and watching, but was still more likely to be found reading/watching/listening to something rather than playing; still, the same way Hal can be convinced to play a video game in order to hangout with friends, Barry can be easily convinced to join in some sporty endeavors if it’ll mean bonding with a friend or loved one. Finally, like Hal, I don’t see him engaging too much with fandoms, he’d probably try when he was younger but wouldn’t find too many people who were into the same things then when he did find people things would devolve into arguments instead of just joy for whatever the thing was so he eventually would resign himself to just enjoying the thing itself, our Barry is a soft boy 🥹. He likes discussion though so once he found people who were his safe space they wouldn’t be able to get him to shut up hahaha.

Snake

It was the first time Michael had ever shot at him, and vice versa, although that realization only sank in much later.

At the time, he merely escaped through the gate and docked behind the wall of stone to be safe from the bullets — although before he had made the conscious decision to do so, he already found himself locking the gate after him. 

See, there was something salacious in the thought of a snake slithering towards freedom, tasting the dust of the ones it deceived, only to be thwarted by the ones it crossed. In that moment, Trevor was Eve, deciding to take matters of revenge into his own hands, to crush the serpent’s head before it could escape the garden, just as his kind had been burdened to do. 

This is what you get when you fall for a snake. You have to be the one to end it.

Except he couldn’t, now, not with the small army worth of men storming the graveyard; he needed to get the fuck out before they’d get him too. But he made his way around the site, hidden by the fence, wading through the snow towards the car he had stolen, and he heard the gunshots and Michael yelling back at the men, although the exact words were lost on him; he was attracted to the sound like a moth to a flame, imagining Michael getting hit and bleeding out in the snow — for real this time, not smoke and mirrors. His life spilling out for Trevor to enjoy.

If Michael was dying, he needed to see it. He deserved to see it. Watching Adam crushing the snake must feel equally as good as doing it himself, right?

He came to a gate at the side of the cemetery and risked taking a peek. He didn’t know if it was disappointing — by this rate, Michael would make it out alive — or exhilarating to see him taking out man after man, the skill he’d honed during years of crime and depravity, on full display. He didn’t linger for longer, continuing his way to the car. More attackers came in vans, which was why the one and only Sedan stood out like a sore thumb. It must be the car Michael had arrived in. 

The opportunity for sabotage was too delicious to resist. 

And so he stayed despite the risk; from his hiding place, he watched Michael run toward what he must have believed was safety, except he didn’t see what Trevor did — two more men in front of the church, guns trained at the corner behind which Michael would soon emerge, destined to hit.

Trevor could have stopped it. He almost did, mouth already opening to shout a warning, but he didn’t. If Michael was so adamant about not needing him, he would handle this as well, right?

One of the men wasn’t terrible at aiming, but Michael barely even flinched when he was hit, adrenaline undoubtedly making him immune to all pain. Trevor only had to imagine the red seeping out, Michael’s face as he aimed and killed the guys, but the delicious shout of pain rang in his ear even after Michael was taken from his car and dragged into one of the vans, clutching his arm. 

The wrath of betrayal mixed with the rush of escape mixed with the satisfaction of revenge — it was no wonder Trevor found himself leaning one arm on his plane, the other vigorously jerking his cock that didn’t even get fully hard in the cold, let alone the effort it took to actually cum. But rubbing one out while thinking of Michael getting hurt was worth it, one last middle finger to the king of snakes.

hello hello!!! time to rate series 6 of doctor who :D once again remember that my opinions are mostly based on Vibes and also i change my mind like daily sldhks yay! also like. making these mostly for my own benefit because it's a lot of fun

1. The Doctor's Wife (6x4) - SO SO SO SO GOOD i LOVED that we got the TARDIS like actually be an important character she is so precious to me, like it's unbelievably unfair towards me specifically that she's not a real character most of the time like HELLO the missed potential??? we have A BIGGER ON THE INSIDE, SENTIENT TIME-SPACESHIP?! y'all best believe that if i ever write an episode for doctor who i'm gonna make the TARDIS important (i'm not even british they will NOT hire me) but yeah just a brilliant episode neil gaiman DELIVERED thanks king, i love everything about this episode very much one of my favourites for sure

2. The God Complex (6x11) - SO fascinating, i loved Rita especially i was so sad that she died :( she would've been such a great companion i feel. the episode is unsettling in the best way and obviously i LOVE the doctor and the ponds, such a great episode

3. The Girl Who Waited (6x10) - i loved loved loved rory in this actually, the ending is so beautiful and so devastating like😭 an interesting concept and i LOVE timey-wimeyness

4. Night Terrors (6x9) - this episode is like. genuinely kinda scary the dolls are terrifying 😭 yeah a really good episode, also adam's dad from good omens what are you doing here!?!?

5. The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon (6x1/6x2) - LOVE the silence and the plot is so good imo, i love the whole concept of creatures you always forget and the design is so good i think, love river and amy and rory as always, and yeah, really great i think

6. A Christmas Carol (6x0) - really really like the story in this one and the fish are so so cool i actually love that there's sort of fish swimming in the air it was beautiful, one of my favourite christmas specials for sure!!

7. The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People (6x5/6x6) - what i do like about this episode is that this kinda shows that you know we should be kind to everyone and understand them and like you know. not value others less because they're different or scary, i feel like that's important, yeah i like this story, also the half-human-half-föesh looks are lowkey scary 😭

8. The Wedding of River Song (6x13) - i LOVE some timey-wimey bullshit, it was so cool that everything was happening at the same time, it was brilliant i think and also slay doctor for not dying after all‼️ amy was so cool i love her. i do kinda wish we had more reaction than just amy killing madame kovarian from amy and rory bcs they lost their BABY but i'm not complaining abt kovarian's fate haha

9. A Good Man Goes to War (6x7) - has some really cool moments and i loved seeing like this sort of crew the doctor assembled, i love vastra and jenny and strax so much. i do feel like this episode is a tiny bit all over the place but i like it

10. Let's Kill Hitler (6x8) - i do like the plot and love river and the doctor in this their plotline was so good in this but tbh i didn't warm up to mels i just didn't like her and i feel like she either should've been in more so people would actually care about her or just should've been left out completely, tho the twist that she was river was pretty good i think

11. Closing Time (6x12) - i still like craig and i liked the ending, and i liked seeing 11 being kinda domestic and looking after alfie (stormageddon) and frankly this was pretty funny, had a good time

12. The Curse of the Black Spot (6x3) - i like this, i had a good time watching it, but i don't have much to say tbh

so i saw this post of mine has 2 notes now (haha, lucky me) and thought i'd share whatever i could save from 10 years back, considering i probably won't be able to actually write this out anytime soon.

mind you, i was 16-17 when i wrote this, back in 2012-13 or so, now I'm almost 28 (in 2 months). my writing style has changed a lot but also not very much. I'm cringing a little while reading this too, but this was one of my better stuff from back then and kinda reflects my current style to a great extent.

also, heh, turns out you forget details with time. it's kyoya who's leaving for college and ryuuga stays behind because he wanted a career in music. anyway, here ya go.

needless to say, do not repost. i hope it won't happen. this is a child of mine i haven't been able to nurture. but. you can have it for now!

The two days after their trip and before Kyoya's departure, Ryuuga's head is constantly swimming in a sea of emotions, muscles wound tight, an oppressive air all around him, inside him, threatening to choke him to death.

Anger. Hatred. Disgust. Betrayal. Loss. Loneliness.

He lists off each one as he helps Kyoya pack, but can't decide which one of them he feels strongest.

When they are done — two heavy bags neatly arranged at the foot of the bed, Ryuuga turns to leave.

"You should stay" Kyoya says with a hopeful lilt in his voice, and that is when Ryuuga makes the lamest excuse of his life to get away from this boy he has loved since the first time he laid eyes on him.

"I've got a headache" he says, heading towards the door. "Gonna take a nap."

Kyoya does not look the least bit convinced and Ryuuga does not want to argue with him right now of all things possible because he knows how adamant Kyoya can be when he wants his way.

"But kaa-chan made dinner ——" Kyoya starts, moving towards him to make his point and ——

"I wanna take a goddamn nap, Kyoya! Can ya leave me alone for once?"

The room goes deathly silent then.

Kyoya stands beside his bed, hands balled up into fists, lips pressed together and jaws shut tight.

And while Ryuuga keeps looking at him, he hates himself just a little bit more.

He did not mean to burst out like this, but he's so angry right now; has been this way for so long, since the day he came to know that Kyoya got into Tokyo U.

That this will probably be it. Their end.

He wants to claw his eyes out, pull at his hairs until they are nothing but shreds of dead protein, because he is so so so goddamned scared right now and there is no one to talk to, definitely not Kyoya, and God knows that if he stays here one more minute, he'd go to Kyoya crawling on his knees and beg him to stay, to hold onto them instead of his dreams, to wait for a few more years so that they can leave this place together, so that ——

"Okay" Kyoya says, uncurling his fists, and so, instead of doing all this and more, Ryuuga takes that much needed step back, learns to let go before Kyoya pushes him away, because regardless of everything else, what does not change is the fact that he is twenty years old and a coward, scared of being wounded by love.

The headache he lies about comes to bite him in the ass.

By the time it's eleven, his head is pounding so hard he thinks that his eyes might just pop out from all that pressure.

The thought of Kyoya leaving is constantly bugging him and truth be told, he's fuckin' tired of it all now.

At 10.50, there is a knock on his bedroom door and he grumbles just loud enough to make himself heard, "Maa, I don't want dinner, I ——"

"I thought you needed a nap."

—— and that is definitely not his Maa's voice.

He sits up to look at Kyoya standing by the door.

"What're ya doing here?"

Ryuuga gets a raised eyebrow for that.

Kyoya walks up to him and places something on the study table.

"You forgot your watch" he says and just, stands there, watching him.

After a while, Ryuuga sighs loudly and says, "C'mere", opening his arms for Kyoya to slip in.

He kisses his forehead then, just a soft press of lips not meant to lead anywhere.

"Sorry I was a dick" Ryuuga mumbles, running a hand over Kyoya's stiff back.

"How's the headache?" Kyoya asks in return.

"Don't have one" he lies.

"Your eyes are bloodshot, Ryuuga."

Ryuuga takes a deep breath then and reminds himself exactly why he did not want to see Kyoya's face tonight anymore.

He knows, that even now, there is a huge possibility that if he asks, then Kyoya will stay, apply to some other college on the island or something.

But that is the problem, isn't it?

He does not want to squash Kyoya's dreams, in spite of everything that he wants.

So he draws back and says, "Go home now. I'll see you tomorrow."

Kyoya reaches towards him, stubborn, so stubborn, says, "You can talk to me."

But Ryuuga doesn't want this, not right now at least.

"There's nothing to talk about" he tells Kyoya, sternly this time so that it gets through his thick skull. "I'll see ya tomorrow. Promise."

Kyoya stands, tips his jaw up, defiant, strong-willed, and then presses a kiss to his forehead, hands him something from his pocket.

"Take them with some food" he says, "or you'll get gas."

Ryuuga's lips twitch up, fingers curling around the ibuprofen tablets, and this is another problem, isn't it? Kyoya jokes without meaning to, cares without showing, loves without asking and Ryuuga, he's going to... miss him so much.

"I love you" Kyoya says, before he walks out, shutting the door behind him.

So Richard Campell Gansey III is a fancy rich boy who believes he has a Destiny™. He died once and a ghost told him has to find a Lost Ancient King and so he built his entire personality around that. Also he is going to die again but that's nbd

Ronan Lynch is an ANGRY rich boy. His dad was murdered a couple years back and his life has spiraled out of control since, including the dreams/nightmares he kind of brings to reality once in a while, and a lot of drag racing and other general bad ideas.

They are BEST friends. They go to the same private school. When Ronan was on his self-destruction spiral, Gansey saved him from being killed by a nightmare and they have been attached at the hip since. Ronan goes on countryside walks to satisfy Gansey's obsession. The only time Gansey, a famously moral person, did shady things was to keep Ronan on school and therefore by his side. He also punched a man to defend him once. They would die for each other.

There are more parallels than this but it would get too long. You can even cast Adam as Neil.

The best part of trc is that literally every relantioship is too unhinged not to be a little romantic. They are all canonically in love with each other

because of this i did pick up trc again! i do have some thoughts so far and youre right adam can be cast as neil because they have a very interesting brand of self-flagellation and snark! also very observant and somehow detached from it? can't quite explain it but i really see it!

gansey oh well ive always liked him :) reading trc now ive really only grown more fond of him, hes smart and beautiful and gentle........ i dont know yet about him being anything alike kevin but i do really see how his little gangly pack of mutts' loyalty for him is alike to how andrew and neil (and jean!) look at kevin..... i think perhaps gansey is a manic pixie dream girl-fied version of kevin, which is not quite how he is in reality, but is definitely how the remains of the perfect court see kevin! so in a way they are the same. but more so kevin is a shadow of ganseys shadow if that makes sense

and for ronan i was surprised at how much i actually liked him! ive seen him going around on tumblr and well i need you to know i dont trust bald men or even men with buzzcuts so in my first read of him back in 2020 i didnt like ronan at all. now that im older and more mature and such i do like him a lot though! he is angry and child-like which i see in andrew, but because he is so undeniably 16 years old about it there is an earnestness to him andrew has since lost. nevertheless i really see how he trails after gansey like a puppy on a leash so yeah in the end. kandrew

as a final and perhaps funny consideration i think kevins trcsona might actually be blue.... a little gruff and clumsy and moved by a lot of guilt (im only on book one!) but still with a lot more bite than youd expect..... im not yet sure though. just throwing ideas around. for now lets stick to gansey

Let's see how he'll react to her being mentally strong as well. (Honestly I am on the edge (lol) of my seat to know what happens next.)

God and this is such a good debut to Edge's pride. It's so uncanny to see how "different" he looks when he's smiling and all dad-like like that even when talking like some professional business, since his pride might as well be in a way, like a white-furred Simba compared to his first appearance (and obviously the fact that he's evil and not above killing others *Still sobbing over Quiet amd Clever and now whatever emotions Adamant is going through rn aaaaa* and might as well be the equivalent to a Lion mafia boss, but still, it's weird in a good way and you nailed it). I almost wanna punch that face lol. But y'all have certainly made him charming in this chapter, Imma make it a double punch with both fists in that case. You have officially made him more likable for me than he already has been, I'll always appreciate when Word of God turns into canon. Like... god I hate him but I love him already now too as a character just from this chapter, why'd y'all do this to me? xD

And omg I love Bright already, she's so childish it's honestly kinda cute even if it's to the point of immaturity. I had such a different image of her before this but now... now she seems like she'll be a fun character to see play out in the comic and is so fricking precious. I need more of her now. I wanna see how bad she can be too. Evil(?) lesbians are so damn fun to write because I've done it before because my friend's was the same simple archetype (ofc that wasn't all to it but, it's the jist) hah.

Fade... aaaaaa, others have said more about him than I can but aaaaa. The way he looked at Hopeful, what's on his mind? Hope doesn't know her lil' sis was originally gonna be wedded off to him certainly, that must be so awkward now that I think about it. He don't like this scenario one bit. Though saying anything while Edge is talking might as well be like going into the bosses/principles/etc. office knowing they're your parent at the same time and it just makes things even more unpleasant than they already are.

YES I'm so happy people liked Hope mirroring Clever haha it was a great idea presented by RJ.

Edge, while he did horrible things, does present a good case to Hope. Despite her experiences with her father and mother, she wants a pride, like many lions do, and he was able to lean into that.

And yea drawing him smiling and fatherlike was difficult, especially because I wanted to make him more vain with his expressions /but that wouldn't work/ because he's being completely honest here LOL He's not trying to trick Hope. He means what he's saying, and a villain that keeps their promises is pretty scary in my opinion. I wish I could've had Vanish and co do more, but they'll be doing more next time.

Once again I'm thrilled Bright made an impression on people. I like writing evil? lesbians too LOL Its so much fun. She is quite immature, but that'll present itself more later. I can't wait to show more of her.

And yea Fade is stuck in a hard place because his dad is actually good to him, but he's definitely hearing and seeing some things he didn't sign up for. He'll need to discuss a change in his contract.
