The Implications of EchoTard

Okay, so I’ve gotten a few questions about Echo x Goultard and where it came from so I figured I’d just make a post about my various speculations and headcanons, as well as the lore for them I invented.

The most important question (where they came from) can be answered with a scene from s3.

That’s it. That’s my entire basis for this ship.

But doesn’t that look like a past admirer staring lovingly at the object of their admiration??? There’s so much affection in her gaze one can’t help but speculate on the implications of this look.

One should also consider taking their meds

SO!!!! I came up with a whole ass AU for this brief, 3 second snippet because I’m insane (Keep in mind my primary basis on Krozmos lore is Wakfu so I just be making stuff up here).

Echo and Goultard are both demi-gods, resentful in one way or another towards their parents. Echo, because … what other reason would she have to join the brotherhood, and Goultard, because he feels resentment towards his father for abandoning him.

In my mind, they met a few hundred to a thousand years ago in Inglorium (this would be pre-Oropo). Seated at their respective Godly parents right hands, they spy each-other rolling eyes at the Gods’ endless droning, and an instant connection sparks.

After the meeting, they begin to chat and discover they have quite a few things in common (namely, disdain for their parents).

Cue a decent bout of courting and a good, long relationship, before they inevitably split due to a differences in ideals.

Echo wishes to take a more rebellious route for dealing with the Gods’ negligence, and Goultard wants to just leave Inglorium all-together. They fight and eventually have a very long, messy break-up.

Goultard leaves Inglorium and rebounds with his mortal wife we see in his OVA, and Echo finds Oropo and joins his cause.

They don’t think about each other for hundreds of years until the s3 finale, when Echo sees him laughing with the family she’s just helped reunite and years of memories come rushing back.

Cue a moderately uncomfortable reunion, and the season 3 ending plays out pretty much exactly as it does in the show, except when the portal to Inglorium opens, Goultard pulls Echo through and she survives (because I HATE that she died with a man who basically lead her on for centuries).

And then they get back together. Don’t you just love a happy ending that I made up??? I bet you do!!!

He’d also just treat her WAY better than Oropo would, which is why I like the ship so much. That man is devoted as hell.

So, yeah, they’re pretty much canon and we should all stan Echotard because they’re cool and awesome.

Some Piper lore ✨

- He/They (shapeshifter, and more of a celestial being than anything human)

- One of Wasteland Wonderland’s Wonders (The Guide)

- His Duality is Monster.

- Piper’s bubbles are his form of ‘spells’. He can use them to cast portals, doorways into other worlds, use them as windows into other realities (past and future included) and if need be, they act as a sleep powder that induces visions when popped.

- True appearance includes 6 arms, but he’s admittedly a little vain and prefers to alter his daily form into something befitting a traditional siren.

- He floats and ‘swims’ through the air, not just water. He has no use for legs other than when he feels like it which isn’t often.

I'm a little confused about what Y/N works as. To me, they look like a manager, kind of, but they have a staff hat, so I assume that means they're a lower/general employee. Do they work with Sun and Moon directly or do they just see the boys often when they're working?

So, this is something I'm INCREDIBLY glad I got an ask for, as Y/N's role is very plot relevant to the catalyst event of the fic. (In a way...)

To start off, you're actually half-right on the manager idea! In Chasing Stars, every Pizza-Plex employee is meant to have a 'supervisor' for the first month or so - the person they can go to for help or clarification instead of bothering upper management with their plebeian pleas. This supervisor is also meant to give the employee under them their welcoming tour, along with their uniform. The supervisor is always the most experienced (via time there worked) in the same position (ex. food staff, custodian, P&S) as the person they're supervising, and don't actually have much authority over them.

This is how things usually go, HOWEVER, when Y/N was accepted into their role as General Staff, there wasn't anyone else currently in that position (the previous ones 'left' rather quickly. Hm.) This resulted in them not receiving a supervisor, along with a stark lack of instructions. Sucks for them I guess!

But what sucks even more is that shortly after being hired, ANOTHER general staff member joins the team, and since Y/N is technically the most experienced General Staff member... They become her supervisor.

Who is this mysterious girl? Why, Vanessa A. of course!

Vanessa's nickname for the reader in the fic is 'Boss', and despite Y/N trying to correct her that: A. They have have literally no jurisdiction over her and B. That they're just as clueless as she is, she insists upon the name. Even after she gets put on Security duty due to [SPOILER], she keeps term for Y/N. (Interspersed with a more fond nickname that I shall not disclose yet).

Vanessa and the readers relationship is a significant and complicated one that's going to change a lot throughout the fic. In fact, I'd call it the second most important relationship in terms of plot/themes, after the DCA. But overall, I'd say they're... 'good friends'.

As for the last part of your question - which yeesh, sorry for the yap session - the role of General Staff is to do whatever odd jobs are left over after everyone is assigned their work, but more importantly, they can be called on by any animatronic or other staff member that happens to need help with their job. You can basically summon them like your personal butler. Of course, Sun and Moon abuse this ability to the extreme, which means that Y/N ends up working with them very often. (I mean, the daycare just gets so busy and we're so understaffed!! You understand, don't you? And- we finish the work so quick with YOUR help that you may as well stick around awhile longer, right? Management won't care about a few missing minutes... or hours. We won't tell if you don't :) )

(PS. CS! Vanessa's personality is very inspired by @/naffeclipse, because by god I love her interpretation of the character so much.)

hi hello. can you catch me up on the oc lore

Since I've gained like a LOT of followers since the last time I did a lore summary, I'll happily do another!

First off though, here is Martin's character profile and Noah's character profile. Those have got the basics about the two of them, and I have a summary for how they met and how their relationship develops right here.

But since i've also brought up Gabriel a lot lately, and plan on mentioning him more, i'll give a little info dump on his relationship with Noah under the cut:

I plan on making Gabe his own character profile in a bit, so i'll go more into detail about him then, but basically he's Noah's oldest and best friend.

Their mothers were also best friends and they were born only a few months apart, so they've been together since before they knew how to walk pretty much.

Noah was a preacher's daughter so they went to church together. They also went to school together and drove their teachers mad if they were sat too close in class.

I touch on the subject of Noah falling in with a bad crowd as a teenager in his profile, but i'm not sure i've gone into much detail on that, it's important to his and Gabe's relationship though.

The short version is that Noah gets tempted into hanging with a guy who's a couple years older than them, called Marcus. Gabriel, always the one trying to keep Noah out of trouble, ends up getting dragged into this group with him.

Marcus makes Noah think he's the leader of their little crew, but basically all he is is Marcus' scapegoat. Marcus would get them all into trouble, and because Noah was the preacher's kid he'd pin the blame on him because he figured he'd get off easier than the rest of them.

In the end though, Gabriel manages to make Noah see how fucked up their situation is (after they both get a pretty bad scare), and the two of them try to distance themselves from the group, eventually getting out of that life.

Noah goes off on his own, and Gabriel becomes a decently successful tattoo artist who owns the flat above his studio.

Their current day relationship is that Gabriel tries to live the life he's worked hard to build for himself, while having the constant reminder of his old life (Noah) stumble in through his door every few months, drunk, beat to hell or straight up just sick.

Noah always jokingly says that in another world it would have been the two of them together. They're pretty much soulmates in every way that matters. With the way things turned out though, all Noah ever tolerates are quick visits and quick fucks to scratch the itch before he's off again.

The two of them keep up their little friends with benefits things way after Martin and Noah start their years long routine of dancing around each other. Even after Noah stops sleeping around with strangers, he comes back to Gabriel when he feels the need to.

Basically he's one more person Noah has wrapped around his little finger.
