The other day I woke up from a dream where Jason Todd was reborn in a wuxia kind of world and had quite a happy life (he was a kid). He had loving living parents, a competent caring teacher, a pacific hill with a lot of houses/buildings where his family, relatives and others lived (I'm pretty sure they either were a clan or an important family and their loyal coworkers/workers/followers/idk) and a library big enough to get lost.

Then he went with his teacher and his dad (his mom stayed bc something about keeping the near town safe, i think) on a business trip to a city. Guess what happened? Shen Jiu happened.

He went to wander around the house of the person they were meeting but he heard a strange sound. He looked around following the sound to a locked shed. Inside there was a boy chained in. A small, mistreated child.

I don't know what did he do but at the end of my dream little Jay was walking with little Shen Jiu on his back.

Days before the new trailer (I hope!), three and a half weeks away from the season 2 premiere, I had a dream of watching an sxf episode. This time it wasn't new manga stuff that I wasn't "supposed" to read, it was an actual new episode so I was watching it without any inhibitions.

And anyway what was going on was that Yor for some reason was doing some work (not assassin work) in a high school (yeah, my new job will start influencing me a lot lol) and Twilight was there hidden for Spy ReasonsTM unrelated to her and Yor heard some female students talk about the "Red String of Fate" thing (probably also because I'm kind of? writing a twiyor au with that) and how you have a string that leads you to your soulmate. So Yor listened to that and smiled because she knew she had no string, and thus no soulmate, but was happy to hear them happy about it. However, when she went to her locker (idk why she had a locker there, she wasn't a student), she found a piece of string attached to it that went on and on somewhere. She decided to follow it and it led her to an apartment. She knocked on the door and who other than Loid opened the door, holding the other end of the string and wearing an apron, saying he's cooked them dinner. So it was made obvious he gave her an innovative invitation to a date between them.

Sadly the scene changed there to something completely irrelevant but damn if that wasn't interesting for inspiration. I don't think I'll do anything with it but you're welcome to - just don't make Yor a student and Loid an adult, yeesh. Either they're both students or both adults.

Why did I dream that I was running a nsfw side blog on tumblr and by mistake I reblogged nsfw content on my main instead of the side blog letting everyone on my main see it 😭

I had really weird dream about My Babysitter’s A Vampire. It was like... as if they done a reboot of the show or something, but it was more... comedy and silly-like, ya know? It felt more like the other live action tv shows that Disney shows on its channel. As if the dark edge/feel that MBAV usually had was just... greatly watered down to make it more lighthearted and funnier.

Anyway, it had a whole new cast of actors playing the characters, but not all of the characters were there. Erica and Benny weren’t in it, and they had changed Sarah’s name to Mina. Weird, right? I remember dream-me trying to figure out if what I was watching was either a season 3 (finally) or a reboot/remake since the original cast members are all grown up now and some of them have taken on different career paths. Fyi, dream-me never did figure it out before I woke up, though. Lol! I gotta stop thinking about MBAV stuff while trying to sleep at night. Smh. Lol!

i had a dream last night that i organized a tumblr meetup and we all agreed to go to a local bar together. so i go to the bar but it was a really busy night and i didn't want to ask every stranger "are u here for tumblr reasons" bc that's embarrassing and i'm shy. so i just got a drink and felt very awkward & hoped someone would approach me. tried to look inviting and like i was from tumblr but not like i was "from tumblr". when i left some girl stopped me to ask if i was there for the meetup but i was too shy and asked what's tumblr?

in the dream i went home to make a post about how nobody showed up to the tumblr meetup but my entire dash was people saying they'd gone to the bar but were too fucking shy to admit to being on tumblr so we'd all just had a drink and gone home

I had a very weird dream this morning about a webcomic about an older goth guy and his 2 adoptive “ant girl” daughters.

The goth dude kinda looked like if you combined young Trent Reznor and young Peter Murphy. The ant girls were kinda like cat girls but with ants instead of cats, like they looked mostly human but with ant features. They were about the size of the average teenage human. I remember one of the ant girls was like a red ant with long red hair and whatnot, and the other was a black ant with shorter black hair. I think the red girl had some kind of backstory about how she was a parasitic ant larvae that was sent to infiltrate a different species ant colony (???) but failed and got abandoned and that’s how goth guy adopted her. Idk about the other girl’s backstory or the goth guy’s backstory or what any of their names were.

The comic was REALLY popular online, esp tumblr and Reddit for some reason. On Reddit the red girl was more popular but on tumblr people were REALLY obsessed with the goth guy, I think my subconscious invented a new tumblr sexyman.

So, other weird dream. And when I say weird I mean: I woke up and stared the ceiling in confusion for ten minutes asking myself what the actual fuck was that.

Anyways—

In my dream, a purple genie-like guy (imagine him like a purple and fanged version of the genie from the fairly oddparents) kidnapped ogCale and a bunch of other random people and put them into a ginormous magic version of a escape room and told them to pass it.

He also held other people as hostage? I think Bassen and Lily were between the hostages.

Between the other forced participants were Alberu, Cage, Taylor, Venion (lol), Choi Han, maybe Hans because he appeared in an interaction, but dissapeared immediately after (how???), Mary, Neo Tolz, Witthira, and some filling extras.

There were riddles and puzzles that required really antique knowledge, but the Cale from my dream was kind of a history and language nerd so they were fine. Cale's trashy reputation not so much tho.

Mary also was having fun with the puzzles and riddles.

Everytime they completed a task, a door was opened or appeared from somewhere with a lot of special effects.

One of tasks included summoning a spirit for something. That was actually an easy one. The spirit that they got to summon found it entertaining and willingly helped them.

Around halfway on the magic escape room (does that even count like a escape room?), multiple doors with different designs opened at once. Each of them had to enter to an especific door and pass through a trial.

Venion never came back of his (lol).

Cale's trial involved a time travel trip through different points in time. He ended up changed things quite a little bit, preventing Oliene's death and also saving the red egg and Raon (after his fight with Choi Han). When he went out, he sealed the door and erased any form to pass through it because messing randomly with time is dangerous and all that.

One of the last tasks was a just dance battle between Cale and the host's old friend. I don't know why there was that there, nor how Cale knew how to dance Earth dances, but he won.

I don't remember much more.

last night i had a dream that they were so desperate to keep david tennant in doctor who they made a spin-off show about a weird timeline glitch that led to a separate dimension version of the doctor that was just slightly worse than our own and so everything was much lower stakes. and instead of just one companion it was rose, martha, and donna all there hanging out like a sit com. they even had an occasional laugh track at really weird times. episode topics included rose’s bisexuality, typical “oh no we accidentally took someone out of the main doctor who timeline but uh i guess it’s fine” shenanigans, and chronic illness, which i guess every character had as a result of the dimension split to varying degrees. someone asked what would happen if the doctor (tenth doctor because again david tennant) had to regenerate and his response was something like “¯\_(ツ)_/¯”. the tardis looked more like a normal british phone box but blue. it was not good.
