To make the Old Builders stand out a bit more, I made sure they wore more clothing than most cats. Harper does as well.

It turns out that wirehairs are one of the least friendly cat breeds, along with Egyptian Maus. So guess what Mevia is!

She was originally going to be mostly black and red like her outfit, but that wasn’t working. I like this version much better. She looks so royal, but not in a good way.

Otto’s just kinda there, he’s chill. I don’t know how I managed to pull off making a fluffy cat bald but I did it somehow.

His blanket thing makes him look kinda like a tortoise, and I like that. Fits him perfectly.

Everyone’s favourite stoner girl! I wasn’t sure how to go about her fur, but I’m proud of what I came up with.

The armband is a marker of what team she’s on (green) but because of it I now headcanon Nell as aroace. And since I own this AU, it’s canon now. I feel powerful.

Em’s design went in a weird direction, but I don’t… hate it. It’s not horrible. Just kinda eh to me.

I like Slab’s speech near the end of the episode about bad bosses. It’s just absolutely hilarious how they write him out of the final battle. He could’ve just stood five steps away with you, where he already pushed you to, but nope. Get flattened by TNT. Great stuff.

Also did y’all ever notice that the insignia all the gladiators wear is actually a portal? I only saw that because I had to draw it. It’s neat.

You know, all this talk with Gabriel makes me remember how at one point I thought he and Slab were brothers who got separated and Gabriel later joined the order to find Slab but never could. They reunite later on and they are so happy the see each other again. I don’t remember who I made the older brother so I just decided screw it, twins.

When me and my friend played this Ep for the first time, we couldn't take it seriously, joking abt how Gabriel decided to change sides-

Something I did for my little favorite gladiator, no big deal. He's such an underated character, you know? The moment I played his episode I just knew: "gotta write about him". That took almost two weeks since my first language isn't English and my fingers can't be controlled in the fanficxation.

(So since Slab is in only one episode, and isn’t featured too often, it’s hard to tell what he’s like, but after reading a bit of the quotes on the wiki i think i can get some headcanons done. sorry this took a while)

-He used to do a lot of manual work before he was a gladiator

-He also liked to read, but he would have to re-read simple books due to not having a ton of access to books at his home

-He ended up missing reading a lot, and was very pleased to be able to read Lukas’ journal

-He had two brothers who did manual work with him

-He misses them too much to even think about them, so he’ll never mention them to anyone

-Has a small locket somewhere with a picture of them together

-He considered searching for them, but wasn’t sure if they were even at their old cabin

-He pondered if he should help with the new games or wonder off on his own

-Both would be full of painful memories
