GRAAAHHHH I HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THE MINECRAFT MOVIE I HAVE TO I HAVE TO!!!

(Small disclaimer: I don't blame any of the underpaid and overworked writers & animators. They deserved better than this slop, I'm sure of it.

like the general public, I too despise the trailer. Let me just start with the trailer itself.

1.) Love how you can tell where the fucking green screen is. /sarc. Also the line "This guy is such a toolbag" they give her feels not only millennial, but fucking stupid jesus christ. You could've made a block joke there like. "...This guy is such a blockhead." "Yeah everything's made of blocks here." Or something AT LEAST TRYYY GUYYYSSS...

2.) The artstyle I know everyone talks about it but the FUCKING ARTSTYLE OH MY GOOODDDD IM DYING why has literally no one talked about the wolf though LIKE???

why is the wolf's body literally discord shaped. Why is Built like That. What the fact did they do to you??? Like, I just... I hate the combination of the realism and the blocks like??? JUST MAKE IT FULLY BLOVKY???? WHAT THE FUCK IS THIIIISSSSS GOD it's so fucking uncanny I hate it. I hate it so.

3.) Love the whitewashed Steve /sarc. Fr though, are we surprised? I hate that Jack Black of all people is playing him like guys that was a joke people was making. Are y'all able to understand jokes? Or understand what a pos Jack Black is? Jesus fuck gamers he's not only ableist (supports Autism Speaks) but a zionist as well. But besides that Steve feels like. Hold on.

Look at Steve. If he actually existed in the real world, I have a feeling he would be muscular (because he mines, builds, + farms like all day), and probably somewhere around his 20's-30's. You're telling me that Jack Black, an actor + musician who's in his 50's. Like, this isn't to say that Steve wouldn't have some tummy fat at all, he probably would! But like... Jack Black just doesn't... feel like Steve at all. Jack Black is like the exact opposite.

There's just like this... massive, icky vibe about the entire trailer that makes me hate it. I think it's a mixture of the live action "isekai" shit with the like... blocky textures that makes everything uncanny and gross to look at. And it feels like rather than taking the concept and saying "Hey, since the experience is so varied, let's take multiple characters and storylines and take proper care of each to tell a different story of the same game" (like Fallout the Show) they're just like, "Eh... I mean... I'm sure the Isekai trope will work again."

Not only that, but like over all it feels like rather than looking and seeing this game and being able to "laugh with" Minecraft fans (side note: I wouldn't mind Minecraft being comedic, admittedly, a block world is a fucking ridiculous concept. But, I'd still say keep the same sentiment that the game has which is, "You can build your own version of the world from the ground up, you are the master of your destiny") they're looking at it like that one mom from that AITA post and saying, "This is ridiculous and childish. Why do you like this? It's stupid. It's just some game about blocks."

I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that fans can't be picky about videogame movies/tv shows at all. Because I enjoyed the Mario movie, despite some fans hatred of it. I can't ignore the fact that videogame movies tend to be 50/50 on how fans will react to them. But still, really? This is what you guys have to show after 10 years? This is what we get? It feels like a punch in the gut, dude. I hate so much. I can't stop thinking about it.

I was attending an event along with my family and a family friend that I didn’t know. I was told that the single mother had four kids, including Careson. Careson was a transgender boy, which intrigued me.

The event began. It was an obstacle course that kept going up, and I was surprisingly fast. I swam, climbed, leaped with ease. Along the way, I met this boy, Hank (who was also simultaneously David.) We were both good at this, so after a little bit of competitiveness, we decided to team up. I also met this younger girl named Emily, who was the child of the family friend.

The last obstacle required opening a locked gate (which I did easily), and then throwing feed into this wooden contraption. The feed would land up the wooden slope, which would coax down these fake chicks, five at a time. We would put them into a basket and carry them back to this shed with cages. The chicks would go inside the cages and into a small wooden hut which seemed to have infinite space, despite looking like it could only hold two. I watched ten chickens fit inside without issue.

I was the first person to reach this last level, along with David. A moment later, these two girls, Murphy and Morocco, climbed up too. Morocco was perfectly nice, but Murphy was a bitch. She kept yelling at everyone when they got in her way, which was weird because it was a competition, that’s what we were supposed to do.

We tossed feed into the slope, but it was harder than it looked. When the first batch of chicks came, I scooped all of them up and dropped them into my bucket. Murphy yelled at me for hogging the chicks.

However, I only counted four chicks in my bucket. I decided to wait for the next batch instead of running back. When they came, I finally noticed my fifth chick and ran, annoyed at myself for wasting time.

I dropped my chicks into my cage, and everyone else was close behind. Once Hank and Morocco put theirs in, a door slid open to reveal a small rocket ship with three seats. We each took a seat, but there wasn’t enough room for Murphy. She went to sulk in a corner.

Sighing, I got out and dragged her onto the rocket. She sat at the very edge, not held down by a seat, and I resumed my seat at the front.

We started flying forward. It wasn’t particularly fast, so nobody had any trouble staying seated. However, Murphy started climbing forward, trying to knock someone out of their seat so she could steal it. Morocco and I pushed her off the rocket, and she fell. We were extremely high up (couldn’t see the ground) but we knew she’d be fine.

We arrived on a tiny floating planet not much bigger than my bathroom. A single person was there, along with a massive pile of costumes. They told us that we were the winners, and got to pick between hundreds of costumes as our prize.

The costumes were very high-quality. We dug for a while, and I decided on one that made me look exactly like a real black panther. It was soft, too.

We then went back to the surface, and I excitedly told my family that I had won. They were very proud of me, and I waited on the ground with them for the event to end. I said hi to Careson, and he just kinda looked at me.

The event was starting again, so Hank and I participated again. He was wearing a green superhero costume that resembled Magnus from Minecraft Story Mode.

However, we weren’t as fast this time, and only reached the last level as the rocket gate opened. We climbed onto the end anyway, like Murphy did, and got to the end planet. The person who was there last time was still there, and told us that since we were in fourth and fifth place, we weren’t eligible for a prize. They then pushed us off the planet, and I landed on the ground without injury. I met up with David again.

Suddenly, something changed. The people around us seemed to stiffen all at once, and the chatter stopped instantly. They were all staring at us.

Then, they started to move toward us. It was like they were possessed. Hank and I seemed to be the only ones unaffected, so we ran as fast as we could. I was surprisingly fast, but we got cornered by Murphy and Morocco, who were similarly affected. We begged them to stop and remember us, but it didn’t work. They grabbed us, and everyone else surrounded us.

Hi Eric! Sorry to bother you with an MCSM question on things that took place almost 7-8 years ago annnd you might have also answered it before, but I would still be more than grateful to receive your answer (sorry for my strange expressions that may exist):

Among all the chapters you've wrote, which has the least block of thinking when you were getting up plots? And if you have to choose, would you rather fight a hundred chicken-sized zombies, or ten zombie-sized chicken? ;)

Also I really want to express my thanks to you and your team then. In China, MSCM also gets a great feedback and awesome fan arts! Personally speaking, the stories of Jesse's surely create a good memory for my childhood(I still enjoy them even I'm now a college student) and that's why I'm here. So once again, thank you, your teamwork really makes a dream work, hah!

Oh it’s no bother at all - this was a very sweet message!

I think the chapter that was the easiest to write was probably Season 2, Chapter 5. By that point, the story was coming to a close and it was just about finding satisfying ways to tie everything up and give everyone as nice of an ending as possible. Compared to other chapters that required making complex lore or convoluted plots it was much easier!

And to the chicken/zombie question… I think I would rather fight one hundred chicken-sized zombies. It would get tiring, but I think I’d be able to do it!

MCSM LGBT+ Headcanons!

Saw my friend do this so ima do this. I should say tho, im someone who changed my headcanons quite a bit. Im not married to any of them nor am i the type to fight people over them. So any of these could change at any time. Alright lets get into it.

Jesse: f!Jesse and m!Jesse i hc as identical twins but im constantly flipping which one is the trans one. You cant have identical twins of different genders unless one is trans. Both are pan ig, i haven't truely decided.

Lukas: Lukas is bi, but prefers men.

Petra: bi as well but prefers women. I think she's also a demigirl or something. Fem leaning but not full woman. I dont have reasons for most of these headcanons lol

Olivia: lesbiam. Women. Also i hc she's transfem and in universe her voice changing between seasons is her finishing voice training :)

Axel: i stole enden-agolor's aroace hc bc i couldnt think of anything else. It fits him well but its not a hc i thought of ya know?

The Old Order of the Stone: polygamous ig, i honestly havent thought about it much.

Harper: pansexual??? Again, havent really thought about it much.

Aiden: he acts super straight but i hc he's gay and lukas's exe. He refuses to be out of the closet bc he hates everyone (jesse and their friends) and they're all gay so he cant be gay. He has some backwards ass logic about how any of this works. Might not be cis but he genuinely hasnt thought about it.

Romeo: pansexual. Also he isnt cis but idk what he is.
