reworked some of my la5 film, happy 3/22 to everyone that ever tried to perform a ritual to summon my chemical romance

This was revealed to me in a vision.

On the goth axis is the bat costume from the first New Jersey show and the “Black Swan” look from the first Boston show. There's so much to unpack here. Mikey and gerard with the matching crisscross applesauce hands in lap pose. Gerard staring at the camera like he's looking at god or perhaps joan of arc. The pure "coolest kid on the fifth grade playground" energy frank is exuding. Ray's...jeans. yeah. Looking at his jeans. They're nice jeans. He should wear them again. Im saying this in a normal way. That's it.

Fake Your Death - Los Angeles 10/17

Happy anniversary to Sing being performed for the first time since 2012.

Happy anniversary to Sister To Sleep being performed for the first time since 2003.

Happy anniversary to the live fucking debut of fucking Fake Your Death.

Happy anniversary to when some of us thought they were gonna do something MCR5 related since they currently don’t have a fifth album out.

Happy anniversary to LA night 5. My Chemical Romance forever and always <3

listening to the studio version of "fake your death" and realizing that each part of the band is so, so deeply showcased in it: the riffs from ray singing alongside gerard, the thrumming baseline from mikey, the strum off the cords from frank - it was all meant as a swan song final goodbye, a showcase of what mcr could do at its best, now that, it seemed, the best years were behind them

and so how fitting to perform it at the last night of their kia forum residency, a kind of goodbye, but a hello again, at the same time

i went so insane on ruby to convince her to get tickets for mcrla5 that the word "mcrla5" has become some adjective/verb for us meaning "to go completely apeshit upon, to lose all morals in the pursuit of a single objective"
