For those who'd want to know how the big confrontation would go in the TGAMM werewolf au, here it is (TW for blood, eye scream/injury, body horror, and injuries)

In case you forgot, it's established in this au that if you kill the werewolf who cursed you, you have to kill him in order to lift said curse. And as hoped for, that extends to anyone else you bit, be it intentional or an accident.

Also yes, that suspiciously familiar shadow around Scratch/Todd's eyes WAS intentional.

Scottish acid band Primal Scream's 2000 album Exterminator (stylised often as XTRMNTR). A powerful album and a strong return to form for the band, who had sort of lost direction in addiction-fuelled hazes after the success of their 1991 hedonistic rave staple, Screamadelica.

The album boasted a star-studded cast: this was Mani from the Stone Roses' first official album with the Scream (he'd written with them before, but this was the first time he was credited as a band member), fellow Creation Records labelmate Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine became an unofficial member and played live with the band. There's a song on the album, 'MBV Arkestra (If They Move Kill 'Em)' that basically references the band in the title. (It's a rework of 'If They Move, Kill 'Em', from their previous album Vanishing Point (1997)). The Chemical Brothers mixed a track and were semi-producers. Liam Howlett of The Prodigy is also a producer.

Tracklisting and credits:

The album was more connected and political than previous Primal Scream records, in particular Bobby Gillespie was quite vocal about the military-industrial complex (in particular in America), and this reflected in the imagery of the album and its music videos.

This was the last album to be released on Alan McGee's Creation Records, the label that famously signed and released the best work by not just Primal Scream and My Bloody Valentine but also bands like Oasis and Super Furry Animals. mbv's attempt to record their experimental follow-up to 1991's Loveless literally bankrupted the label and it folded.

Anyway, cracking album. If you think you haven't heard it, you've probably heard songs like Swastika Eyes, or the acidic grooves of Kill All Hippies on radio stations like BBC 6 Music. It's one of Primal Scream's best ones.

Ever since @artistcaptainbendy did a Spiderman version of Molly and a Doc Ock version of Scratch/Todd, I KNEW I had to do that specific version of that one part of the bridge scene from Spiderman No Way Home. If you've seen it, then you know the scene in question.

And it is hilarious just how accurate it is for early season 1 of TGAMM.
