More TGAMM werewolf au doodles, featuring some funny stuff, angst, and FINALLY some sort of reveal of the werewolf that bit Scratch/Todd.

-Had this idea of Molly and Libby needing to get into Andrea's good graces for a bit and then gaining some form of entry in order to have access to her home since there's a library that might have something on how to reverse a werewolf curse. And of course, Libby needed to be in disguise (and is disguised as a kappa for an obvious reason).

-They ended up stealing the book, due to shenanigans.

–Which leads to the reveal of there being only two ways to undo the curse, which invites a lot of angst for those involved.

–Ok.... so Ollie's dad has been tracking a specific werewolf that was targeting the midwest a few years back, and estimates that it might be coming back very soon. All he could gain for his efforts was one photo. However, this particular werewolf seems to show up around the time a very brutal death occurs (and the fact that it happens around a full moon confirmed it was a werewolf) and they were dangerously close to Brighton a few years back... on the EXACT day Todd was biten. I'm sure you can connect the dots on that one.

(Putting a tw for slight body horror. Why? Well... take a look at the werewolf. For one thing, it might not look like it, but that werewolf is actually MISSING a nose).

Last ref/artwork of the TGAMM!Monster AU [3/3] (for now, might do more art eventually haha)

Andrea Davenport - the werewolf, because I said so. Also she's a brown wolf because I used the colours of her eyebrows, since we don't know her natural hair colour.

She's the daughter of Brighton's most known business family & monster hunters.

Yes, both her parents are human and are known to go after the more dangerous monsters and beasts out there [aka. werewolves would fall under that category of monsters] - that's why Brighton is mostly full of humans and the less beast like monsters.

How she got the curse is still a mystery, but she found out she had it at a young age.

After her discovery, since she knows her parents fear the beast she is, she does all she can to keep the beast inside. This however backfired, as when her father started convincing the major to increase certain monster regulations, forcing Molly and Libby to go into separate classes, she couldn't contain her wolf self and started to protest by uncontrollably destroying her parents' shops. [in this AU her parents own a few more store locations, or maybe storage areas than just the one store in canon].

She comes out to Molly, Scratch and Libby first and they help her keep it from her parents and try to convince them not to hurt her when they do eventually find out.

She can shift between her human form, half wolf and full beast [which is twice her size and she is a bit less in control when in that form].

For those who'd want to know how the big confrontation would go in the TGAMM werewolf au, here it is (TW for blood, eye scream/injury, body horror, and injuries)

In case you forgot, it's established in this au that if you kill the werewolf who cursed you, you have to kill him in order to lift said curse. And as hoped for, that extends to anyone else you bit, be it intentional or an accident.

Also yes, that suspiciously familiar shadow around Scratch/Todd's eyes WAS intentional.

Some of you showed more interest in this au, so here are some more doodles, including (FINALLY) a color drawing to show what colors the werewolf forms are. I had to get some input as to what to do with Molly's eyes, but I liked the idea that the eye color from the ghost forms also showed up in these forms. I wanted to transfer the hair color to the fur but unfortunately I had to give Molly a lighter color since her hair color was too dark to use

The 'Todd/Scratch as a werewolf' idea was amusing, so I had to draw more of it. (And in case you didn't know why, it was because of the whole 'if they have a unibrow, they must be a werewolf' myth).

-Had this idea that the whole reason why he turned Molly into a werewolf was because she was in the middle of eating something... and of course knowing his food obsession, he somehow bit her on accident.

-I decided to add more so that any character who was a ghost is instead alive and a werewolf. And I decided that Sally of all characters would be the Leader/Alpha of the werewolves because she gives off those vibes.

-.....Yes. I wanted an excuse to draw a shirtless Todd/human Scratch because I could see him losing it somehow. You are welcome. And the lucky onlookers are myself, @artistcaptainbendy and @candyheartedchy

If I may ask, what would the roles of the Ghost Council and Jinx be in the Werewolf AU?

Also, was Scratch being bitten and turned into a werewolf an accident like Molly's transformation into a werewolf was or did whoever bit Scratch do it on purpose?

Jinx would definitely be a werewolf. I imagine she has a position of authority as a human but she enjoys being a werewolf more and can’t fathom why someone would want to give that up. She’s encountered Scratch a few times as a werewolf but I’d imagine that he’s managed to avoid her detection as a human. Plus she’s well aware that werewolves are not supposed to create more werewolves at this time (especially children!werewolves), so there’s a certain matter concerning Molly, who poses a huge risk for the werewolves until she gets herself under control. Also, Jinx has no issues with killing humans who get too close to the truth about her.

The council is something I’m mixed about and I don’t know what is funnier-them being part of a governing council over the county Brighton is in (and causing more harm than good which sadly is true for a lot of counties) or if they are werewolves too, and give Scratch more of a reason to keep the biting incident a secret.

Now as for Scratch/Todd…

It was more of a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He had one of his depression episodes and decided to stop by the woods for a bit to try to clear his head, but made the mistake of being out too long on a full moon night, despite the warnings. The mystery attacker saw him as a target and attacked, and Scratch barely escaped with his life. He was in for a nasty surprise the next month and almost killed someone himself, which is something he deeply regrets and is one of the reasons why he forced himself to try to control that part of him.

Scratch has tried to figure out who it was but still doesn’t know. The few werewolves he does know confirmed that they don’t know who it was, but they have a feeling that there is a werewolf who is attacking and even killing with little regard to the consequences (especially how they can endanger the others), and could be responsible for turning more people into werewolves beside Scratch.

And that particular werewolf is still out there…. And it’s only a matter of time before they come back to Brighton to continue their hunt.

(Before anyone asks… no it’s not Jinx, even though she is a suspect within the AU for awhile.)

Coming back to the werewolf AU...So what DID happen when Ollie got confirmation that Molly was a werewolf?

He was in shock for awhile but didn’t tell his family about it (Ollie didn’t want anything bad happening to Molly). He wasn’t even sure how to approach Molly about it and only made minor casual talk with her in order to save face. He doubled down on his research on werewolves and after learning about the whole ‘need to kill the one who bit you’ he correctly assumed Scratch did it but he also assumed the attack was intentional and made plans to get him. (Of course that ultimately didn’t happen because that misunderstanding was cleared up later).

Since I established major angst for those recent TGAMM werewolf au drawings I had some ideas for it. (Also TW: mentions of suicide attempt).

So as established, Molly found out that you have to either die or kill the werewolf who bit you in order to free yourself from the curse. Which Todd overheard. And he also overheard that she refuses to kill him.

So he’s kind of shut off from Molly for a bit, trying to figure out what to do and sinks further into a depressed state. He already knows that if he forced her to end his life, she’ll refuse.

So… he decides he’s going to take matters into his own hands.

He finds the highest building in Brighton and goes up. He has a better chance at this as a human than as a werewolf, and he’s too scared to do it any other way. He’s at the edge and he is honestly terrified because dying was always something he’s scared of… but not this time. It’s probably going to be the one good decision he’s ever made in his empty life.

However, before he can muster enough courage to jump, he hears a scream and turns around to see that it’s Molly. She somehow figured out what he was going to do and wants to stop him.

He gets angry and frustrated. He tells her that he had nothing in life even before he was bitten, and that he regrets cursing her in turn. She didn’t deserve this, just because he made an incredibly stupid mistake in not controlling his own impulses. So he’s sparing her the burden and doing it to free her.

But Molly is just as stubborn-she believes that they can find the original werewolf who bit Todd and maybe if they can get him instead, then both curses would be lifted.

Todd-ever the cynic-doesn’t think they can ever find the werewolf. He demands to know why Molly is refusing to let him die. “Why do you care whether I live or die?!” he snaps. “Why can’t you let me give you back the life I took from you?! Why does my pathetic life matter so much to you?!”

“Because your my friend!” Molly cries back before pulling him away from the edge. “And because you didn’t deserve to be alone and you don’t deserve to die! If no one cares, then I do!”

…And she tightly hugs the man. It’s one of her usual right hugs but this time there is an urgency and need to protect in this one. In this one, there is all the friendship, love, hope, and determination that comes from her heart.

For the first time in so long, the man finally feels it-someone cares about him. Someone wants him. Someone doesn’t care that he’s cursed or that he’s otherwise a painfully average shell of a human with nothing to offer. Someone would truly feel his absence if he was gone.

…. And he realizes that he doesn’t want to lose this girl in turn. Despite the headaches she caused, she gave meaning and purpose back into his life and gave him a reason to find happiness in an otherwise miserable existence. She made him feel human.

So he embraces her back. He hugs her and returns her friendship in full.

He realizes that he wants to live-not simply exist-but to live. And he wants to believe in this girl with all of his heart. He wants to have her optimism and face his nightmares so that neither of them have to hide.

They both leave, and now he has a new goal in mind-he’s going to take his life back and give her’s back without making her sad. However long it will take, he’s going to do it.

Another idea or three for the Werewolf AU.

The one full moon that Todd doesn’t spend hiding is the one that falls in October. People assume that he’s just some dude in an elaborate costume, and if he just throws sandals on, then it’s passable. He only takes advantage of it if he has any errands to do.

In Molly’s case she would fully take advantage of it. Especially if the full moon happens on a school dance for Halloween festival. She’s not going to miss out on the fun. (Though Todd would likely have a heart attack if she did this without proper preparation.

In case of an emergency and either get caught, they can use the one excuse that solves everything and gets most people to leave them alone-they are dressed for a furry convention.

Another idea is that Andrea IS going to be a vampire because if you have to do the ‘werewolf vs vampire’ thing, then she’s the only candidate. And like I said before, she’s the kind from the original Dracula novel where she can walk out in the sunlight but isn’t as powerful in the day. Both her parents are vampires and they have access to blood without resorting to unsavory means. She figures out Molly’s secret and while she assures the girl that she won’t tell, she also comes off as a bit condescending and implies that she sees Molly as more of a pet if she were to work under her family. Molly is understandably not amused by this. (Also, Andrea still has a thing for Alina).

I almost forgot but Libby does eventually find out about Molly’s secret, which goes almost like that one episode where Molly struggles with telling the truth to her. Once the truth is revealed Molly gets all happy and info dumps on Libby who has a lot to take in but decides to research into werewolves (especially to see if there’s a cure just to be safe). Much like in canon, Libby and Todd would bicker and be jealous for a bit before they find any common ground.

Also when Libby does her bloodhound howl, it triggers Molly into howling, regardless of where and when and if she is werewolf or not.

Have you told the story of mollys first transformation yet?

Actually I did! It was covered in this post! Even how Scratch bit Molly is covered in the post as well as their first proper meeting, which was on the night she first transformed.

I'd say that she was scared and in a bit of pain when that transformation first happened, but the pain was gone quickly and she was in for a huge shock.

What is the relationship between Molly and Ollie in The Wolf Woman?

It’s about the same as in canon except the stakes are a bit higher at first since Molly is one of the very things Ollie’s family is after. She wants to hang out with him but can’t at certain times for everyone’s safety. 

Like the school dance might still happen and she’ll delude herself for a bit until she gets that reminder that she’s in danger if she gets too close (and to an extent it would endanger Todd/Scratch). 

But of course Ollie would still find out, though that would pose another problem or two since he’d be conflicted about how he feels vs how he’s supposed to act until Molly is able to convince him that not all the creatures his family go after are evil and that she herself hasn’t bitten or harmed anyone. Though that’s where Todd comes in to embarrass her a bit with how long it took for her to get herself under control. And when Ollie makes accusations at the man and his part in the whole thing, he had to flat out tell him it was a complete accident and if he knew how to undo the curse it would have happened ages ago. 

So other than that… not too much changes but Ollie does look into how to reverse the werewolf curse that doesn’t involve having the person die in order to be freed from it.

Though since Molly hasn’t tackled the hormone side of herself as much, she’d be a LOT more cuddly towards Ollie as a werewolf even if she doesn’t mean to. Which is how she would need to undergo a bit more restraint training or at least try to keep away from him during full moons for a time.

what is the chen family like in au de molly werewolf woman?

They are almost no different–they just cover cryptids and other supernatural creatures besides ghosts, and they have a bit more of a well known reputation because of that.

However, Molly still has a crush on Ollie, but her own personal safety is at stake this time. Todd is more terrified over the whole thing this time around, especially considering he has less chances to escape or hide compared to canon.

Other than that, their personalities are about the same. I also think June might relate to some of the creatures they seek out to some extent.

Of course, much like in canon, Ollie and June would find out the truth about their friend and her secret, and Ollie would also be researching on how to undo a werewolf curse.
