Butcher listens to punk rock, the revolting bastard, and the language won't make much of a difference — he'd love the Brazilian punk bands with a history of dirty lyrics and censorship such as Plebe Rude, Os Replicantes, Inocentes. However, as with the Spice Girls, he knows a powerful pop teamup when he sees one...

HUGHIE CAMPBELL

He's a classic rock/pop guy, 80s stuff, so he's bingo-ing all the standard "plays on the radio" bands — Legião Urbana, Paralamas do Sucesso, Barão Vermelho... He cries to Epitáfio by Titãs and 100% has dedicated Tarde Vazia by Ira! to Annie.

M.M.

Undoubtedly our family man loves a good pagode — a subgenre of Brazilian samba that comes from a community celebration with food, music, dance, and drinks. He'll go out to dance with Monique to Turma do Pagode and Grupo Revelação's hits. Also, as a fan of rap and Black protest music, M.M. would be really into fundamental Brazilian rap artists such as Racionais MCs that denounce racism and political violence.

FRENCHIE

This guy canonically listens to French trap/rap so there's no doubt he'd get hooked on artists such as Matuê and Teto. However I also feel like he'd be into psychedelic rock and its trippy guitar riffs — which leads us to artists like Raul Seixas, Os Mutantes, and O Padre dos Balões (will never pass on an opportunity to recommend my favorite small band). He'd also listen to Mamonas Assassinas because I think so.

KIMIKO

She has a soft spot for classic musicals, jazz standards, and slow ballads — the samba and bossa nova classics would be a gold mine, from Cartola to Chico Buarque, João Gilberto and Tom Jobim. She'd be obsessed with Carmem Miranda! And I can also see her falling in love with Elis Regina and Marisa Monte's voice. I can also see her jamming to 80s pop that sticks to your head — A Fórmula do Amor by Léo Jaime and Kid Abelha jumped immediately to my head (and it's been there since, send help).

ANNIE JANUARY

Annie is the type to have grown up listening to sertanejo — a very popular genre of Brazilian country music. The classic duos, such as Chitãozinho & Chororó, and especially the movement of female-centered sertanejo led by artists like Marília Mendonça and Maiara & Maraísa. However she probably stopped following these artists around 2019, so anything newer than that (like Ana Castela) "doesn't sound right" and takes her on an angry rant.

Ukraine says it can't intercept Russian Kh-22 missiles

Ukraine confessed that the Russian supersonic missile Kh-22 (X-22) is too fast to be intercepted and refuted reports that it shot down one of them.

"I've been talking about this for half a year - we can't take down Kh-22 missiles. This is a supersonic missile, with a speed of 4,000 km/h in flight. We have no means capable of intercepting this missile in the air,” the spokesman for the Ukrainian Armed Forces Air Force Command, Colonel Yuriy Ihnat, said on TV during the national marathon on Sunday morning.

On January 15, more than 20 people died after a Kh-22 missile hit an apartment building in Dnipro, in central Ukraine.

"This missile with a 950 kg (2,000 pounds) warhead, which is called the 'aviour killer', is designed to destroy groups of aircraft carriers at sea. It can be equipped with a nuclear element. And this missile was used to reach a densely populated city. There is no explanation or justification for this terrorist act," said Ihnat.

The heavy Kh-22 missiles of the 1960s, known to NATO as AS-4 Kitchen, were designed primarily to destroy aircraft carriers using a nuclear warhead. It has a declared autonomy of 600 km. To aim at the target, it uses a radar search engine, which makes it extremely difficult to "see" objects on the ground. When Kh-22 is used in ground attacks with conventional warheads, they are considered highly inaccurate and therefore can cause serious side and low damage. The weight of the highly explosive ogive of the Kh-22 is about 900-1000 kg, which leads to large-scale destruction.

"In some reports, it was reported that someone dropped him somewhere, they probably caught another missile in this case. It happens. There were several messages and the advertisement picked them up,” Ihnat explained. He pointed out that there are moments of inaccuracies, because the information is provided quickly.

The Ukrainian Air Force claimed that Russia fired more than 210 Kh-22 missiles from its territory. “None of them were shot down by air defense,” the service admitted, adding that the military needs Western equipment such as the Patriot to defeat them.

Haven't seen talk about Shipwrecked on my dash (and I haven't looked in main tag yet) but I gotta say I really love the dynamic between MC and Manu.

Especially if you're playing it as gays or switching the dynamic (male mc, female main li) because??? MC is so chaotic and Manu is literally just trying to keep their SO alive at the end of the day. Manu probably would need to keep MC on a leash they're that damn bad sfkjsdf but I love this MC being this wild with sarcastic ass Manu making sure nothing happens to you.

Since corvids and dragons are avid hoarders, imagine Manu collecting every single shiny thing he finds on the ground. Coins, jewels, jewel bugs, fireflies, buttons, glasses, rocks, shit like that. He has a whole chest full of that and he gives some of them to people he likes.

Of course it took a while for mama/papa MC and papa Malleus teach him that "Manu, my dear child, jewels are a better gift than paperclips. Please give those to guests and friends!"

"Ah, thank you, your Highness. I will hold this... Gift close to me." The elder Fae smiles, a crooked grin, amused by the young heirs innocence. He was trying not to laugh, but he couldn't help the few chuckles that left him, but the young Princes face was still lit up with joy.

Short white hair messy from the small hands that played with it earlier, the young Prince looking quite proud of himself, the elder ran his hand to smooth down the mess on his head. One could say it looked like... A birds nest.

"I'm glad! Thank you for looking after me today!" He smiles, his back turned to you and Malleus as you burry your face in your hands, cloak covering your shivering form as you contained your laughter. Your son, your small, funny, entertaining son. Brighter than the largest star, more caring than Lilia, and wrapped together with a heart of gold and Malleus' sense of fashion in black and green leather.

At least he had your cloak.

I mean... Your son considered a paperclip as a gift of gratitude, and though it was adorable, you were sure you could even see Sebek and Silver smiling at the corner of your eye.

"Manu, come now, we need to get you something to eat." Malleus said, a soft and gentle tone, a hand going to pat his sons head right between his horns. He thanks the elder again before picking up the young one, resting his weight on his hip before taking your hand in his own, Lilia floating overhead.

"Manu... I know you meant the best, but how about hold or a special gem next time, for your gifts." Malleus smiles, pressing his face to his son's head, making the young dragon giggle.

"But- they're both shiny! They've got to be the same!" He exclaimed, bouncing a bit, his hands loose around his father's neck.

"Yes, but they hold different value, and meanings." You continued, going to stroke your son's cheek, his smile melting your heart and his innocence making you swoon.

You had to thank Malleus again later, for giving you the little one.

"Well, Young Lord, why don't we go looking for gifts together when you wish to thank someone? So there is no mix up again." Sebek muses, striding along side Silver, who is currently being harassed by the floating Lilia.

"Are you sure? I can find plenty of shiny things!"

"Yes, it's quite alright."

"Does that mean we need to look over my chest my to my bed?" He asked tilting his head, your face confused as Malleus stifled another laugh.

"N-No, son, but perhaps that can be your own personal treasure trove, alright?"

Well... At least he had the spirit.
