You know, a long time ago I read this stupid ass Reddit comment complaining how they couldn't understand why people were "obsessed with making Crocodile a woman", and of course I just looked at it like "bro, if he's trans then he literally ISN'T a woman, that's the whole point, nobody wants Croc to be a woman 💀"

But I feel like the more and more Dragodile seems to pick up in popularity the more I keep on running into fanart where Croc's either being feminized/woobified/intentionally made to look smaller, more petite and feminine than Dragon, or straight up he's been detransitioned to live as a woman farting out more babies 24/7, not to mention the constant she/her'ing and calling Croc a "mom"

Like people are allowed to do whatever the fuck they want, but man. Some of y'all really do want Croc to stop being a trans man and be a woman instead. That's just so emotionally distressing to realize.

y'know it's funny how we talk about certain fan reactions to izzy's death bc i watched the recent m*a*s*h documentary where they talked about abyssinia henry (an episode which kills off a major character) and there was a clip of the showrunner quoting angry letters he received after that episode aired:

'you tricked us' 'you sucked us in' 'we thought this was a comedy show' 'how dare you toy with our feelings'

this is a show set in the KOREAN WAR and people still felt a character death was a 'trick' and a betrayal. not only that but i cannot express how thematically relevant and important this death was for the entire thesis of the show. and yet they received 1,000 letters from viewers about it (though some were praising the episode, and it is overall viewed positively in retrospect).

idk i just found it interesting. this episode came out in 1975 and nothing's really changed.

Even when Dean was with Lisa, a woman he tried to tell himself was the love of his life, he always thought of his Sammy.

Nights where he'd drown in whisky thinking of his baby brother. His baby brother who's dead, his baby brother who's always been there for him, his baby brother who he vowed to protect. He's dead, and every time he'd remember, he'd feel a wave of grief crash over him as if it were the first night all over again.

He tried to tell himself there was no point in living in the past, tried to live in the present with his step son and "wife", but he'd always be thrown into the memories of his Sammy whenever he'd see something he knew he'd like.

He couldn't even look at the impala without nearly breaking down some nights. He knew, somewhere in that car, he'd carved his initials next alongside his brother's. He thought, during that year of Sam being gone, that that was the most he'd ever cried in his entire life.

Sure, there were times Sammy were gone, but now he's gone. Dead. He was sure he'd never see him again. He'd remember, and he'd drink himself half to death to forget.

On more than one occasion, Dean had contemplated killing himself. It wasn't a new thought, but the overwhelming urge to actually go threw with it, grab the gun from his bedside table and paint his brains on the wall behind him, was.

That entire year went by like molasses, and every month, every week, every day, he was surprised he made it through them alive. The day he'd seen his brother, he thought he was hallucinating him again.

He'd never felt relief as strong as he did that day, when he embraced his brother once he'd proved he wasn't a demon. To feel his skin, to smell his scent, to feel him. If Heaven were real, he was sure that was it.

I'm an anime-only bsd enjoyer & ever since that damn sword popped up after Atsushi & Akutagawa killed him on the boat but he was able to erase/undo(?) that timeline, I've been thinking that technically means there's multiple timelines. This would be the one where Fukuchi won that conflict we just saw or something else entirely is going on given the way he's dressed (if that even is him)! 👀👀👀
