look, i don't know what to say, but if you think Cersei considered Joffrey as just a pawn for her, it's just another way to strip her from her humanity......

Just watched the new short trailer and I'm actually going insane!!!
Tumblr media
I love how cute/youthful Ciel looks with this animation style because, in these small quiet everyday moments, it really helps remind us that he's literally a child having to navigate these insane circumstances. I think previous seasons/animation companies struggled to find the balance for making him look his age while still serious/mature enough for the audience to believe the story.
Tumblr media
Anytime they show off Sebastian's fangs, I'm simply crawling up the walls and screaming. I love love loveeee how Cloverworks is animated Sebastian to look more like he does in the later manga chapters. I really just can't wait for the pretty boy facade to drop during THAT moment in this arc.

i think probably the reason i like the idea of like a girl secretly being a dragon but still trying to just have a life in society and be normal is because it's kinda a transfem narrative of the whole like everyone thinks you're a terrifying monster but you just want to be a girl. and the other reason is due to i'm otherkin

Ok people. Real talk for a second. Cause I am genuinely pissed off.
Stop. Reposting. Other’s. Art.
Save it all you want, but stop saving it or screenshoting it and then resposting it (especially without crediting the original artist).
You may think to yourself “oh, I’m just one person so what harm could it do?” and let me ask you this.
How many other people do you think have thought the same thing? That they are just one person resposting another person’s hard work thinking that it won’t have any kind of effect on anyone? Thinking “oh, this is only for me and maybe my friends”. Or “this will give the artist EXPOSURE so it’s fine” (which makes no sense when you don’t CREDIT them and no one can figure out who the artist IS).
Because let me tell you, I have seen what having three or eight or DOZENS of people reposting or liking and sharing reposts of an artist’s work does to some artists. Yeah, some are going to say “meh, I don’t really care” and brush it off. But that’s not every artist.
I have seen artists completely stop posting art online because seeing people take their art and share it without bothering or caring to share who made it makes them feel like ya’ll don’t actually give a shit about them. You only care about what they can make and how you can take it for yourself. I have seen other artists give up on art entirely because they genuinely feel like it’s pointless to keep drawing and sharing at all because it will all just get taken anyway and no one cares who the original creator is.
So why bother making more?
Do ya’ll WANT artists to stop sharing their work for you to see and appreciate?
Because taking it and reposting it is going to make some artists stop sharing their work entirely. Reposting art only does two things: momentary gratifaction for yourself and hurting artists.
And if you are so selfish that knowing your actions hurt other people, emotionally or financially or otherwise, doesn’t get through to you to make you understand that what you're doing fucking sucks then…
Congratulations.
Hope ya like looking at nothing in the future.
And just use the fucking reblog button IT IS RIGHT THERE. THAT'S WHAT IT IS FOR. TO SHARE ART. WITHOUT REPOSTING IT. WHERE PEOPLE CAN SEE CREDIT.
DAMN IT.

No because I’m thinking again about how little care the cast has had for the NPCs this season. It’s even worse when it comes to the parents because the entire basis of the show is that it’s about family. I’m glad hypfix hasn’t blinded me to being critical of this show because when I really think about it, s2 could’ve been handled a lot better.
I’ll talk specifically about Rebecca and how even one of the players said she was the best choice to die. And I agree, but only for the reason that she’s the only spouse who’s actually *done* anything. We’ve maybe had a scene with Veronica once (and over the PHONE), Cassandra was shoved into a plotline to make Willy have an upper hand, and the one time they were with Marco was when someone got killed in his house. And Attack on Titanic does not count to me, sorry. Rebecca didn’t do much either, but she was there all throughout ep31-32 so that’s *something*. We got to actually interact with her. She had some kind of impact on the story. So to me she was the best choice to die in that it would be pointless to kill Terry again, killing another kiddad this late in the game would feel cheap, and killing one of the other kiddad spouses would be nothing. And if Scary’s bio dad had been the one to die that would feel even cheaper. Genuinely why the hell is he even here. I'm worried about what will possibly happen with him next episode, I really would've rather us never meet him at all.
I could also write pages on the disrespect that’s been given to Hermie but it’s all stuff that’s been said before. The constant “is this the new Paeden?” “I think we found our new Paeden” about anyone but Hermie when Hermie’s done worlds more than Paeden ever did.
I’ll stop myself from ranting here but yeah. I really hope they treat the NPCs with more care next season. That being said I'm excited for the finale, but only so they can let these characters go and move on.

People out here like oooh I shouldn't be relating to this villainous character, this character who does bad things, this character who has questionable morals; yes, you should be! You should be looking at the warped funhouse mirror and analyzing what you see there! That is not an accident! The world is not black and white, good and bad, us and them; if you start thinking there's a clear dividing line, that you could never possibly relate or end up like them or they could never have ended up like you, that's how they get you!
You and the rest of humanity are a swirling pool of grey and these characters are, in many instances, a way to reflect on yourself... because recognizing the self through the other not only gives valuable insight into you and those around you in general, but also lets you see how you can avoid making the same mistakes or how you could, given differing and worse circumstances, see exactly where they're coming from and become just like them if the tables were turned, making you more mindful, more empathetic, more open to questioning or accepting your own flaws, and just... so much more.
That's inevitably worded fuzzily, and I've said it before, but the point is, it's not a bad thing to relate to these characters, it's an (often) *intended* and invariably human thing because humans are messy and complex and shaped by all kinds of simultaneously unique and yet universal shared experiences, and in the end, people are people are people, bound by the laws of chaos.
And yes, there may be some exceptions in how you may approach this, but not without nuance.

ashley: i don't think i want it. fearne doesn't want it. i think ashton should have it, i think it belongs to ashton
taliesin: i'm curious about the big red button but you (ashley) get a say in it. we'll talk about it
fearne, in game: if i have a say in it, i think you should have it, i don't want it
ashton: okay, i'll take it then. are you okay with this plan?
internet: ashton was manipulative and took it from fearne

in all my random tag/fandom hopping years i have never encountered the sheer incoherency of star wars fic. It’s amazing? Like, most top kudosed stories will have nice staid comprehensible paragraphs tracking perfectly well from sentence to sentence but once you’re like 700 words in you start to feel like you’re in some kind of funhouse mirror dimension. Nothing makes sense. It’s like the authors somehow built a story without any story in it. It’s the storytelling equivalent of hearing that one song where all the lyrics are in a fake language meant to sound like english in order to show native english speakers what their own language sounds like to those who can’t understand it. It’s the narrative equivalent of simlish. Is it all written by AI? Am i having a stroke? I have to understand how this is done

someone left a comment on one of my videos saying the c3 characters were "boring" and, the complete absence of brain cells to post that on something that someone spent hours on aside, it's probably the funniest way to describe bells hells. half of them are begging for the chance to just run away in order to be boring. if anything, my complaint is gonna be that there's so much to each character that we won't even get to explore a fraction of it before the campaign is over

Getting REALLY tired of the genre of posts insisting that anyone can be abusive without meaning to or realizing it, that it's something that can just like. Happen to you Because, and that one must be on constant alert to one's behavior lest one Become Abusive.
Like sure anyone can do anything and most people are capable of just about everything under the right circumstances but no. Not everyone is one careless action or one bad day from like. Hitting their kid or partner or convincing them that they're incapable trash or destroying a person's thi gs or gaslighting them. And yes there are some personality traits that do make those things more likely, like selfishness, self-centered behavior, inability to take criticism, entitlement vis a vis other people. Like come on.

guess this needs to be said but…
- you don’t have to be on the dash 24/7, and no one should expect that of you. no one should expect immediate responses. you need to understand that people have lives, and they’re not going to respond immediately. roleplay is a hobby. it’s for fun. you have to be respectful of everyone’s time. don’t mistake silence or someone being busy as hatred. be patient.
- you can cater your dash however you want and softblock blogs for not interacting with you, or softblock blogs for any reason you want without any judgement. you don’t have to follow blogs you don’t want to. cater your space and make it comfortable for you so you enjoy logging in and writing. if plotting doesn’t work out with someone, or you just don’t feel like following someone anymore… you can softblock. make your space comfortable.
both of these statements can be true at the same time.

Man, as a trans guy and abuse survivor, whenever I see people saying the likes of, "lmao, men shouldn't be allowed in anything deemed 'women's healthcare'!" It just reminds me that - especially in healthcare - my safety and comfort will never matter so long as it continues to condradict people's preconceived notions of what constitutes people worthy of healthcare. It's just something I wish the well-meaning people who are rightfully frustrated with the state of healthcare would take a second to remember.
Yes, the healthcare system sucks and we must fix it. No, that doesn't mean we ought to leave behind people just because they challenge us on our own biases.
