Note
so i know you don't want to write for sahsr right now so may i request a sagau where creator (also artist reader if you are ok with that) reader basically just adoring all the kid playable characters cause they think their just the cutest like the reader cheering on kachina as she makes her way through the night warden wars or the reader could name ingredients that diona could use for her drinks
Welp... 🧍‍♀️
I love that idea so much! It's really cute to think about the creator being absolutely enchanted by the kid characters in Genshin Impact, especially since a lot of them are so precious and funny.
Tumblr media
As the creator, you are a being of incredible power and influence—yet at times, you can’t help but be utterly charmed by the smallest things. And nothing melts your heart more than the precious little ones of Teyvat, who always seem to be ready for an adventure (and often, mischief).
Klee
It all starts when you watch Klee during one of her explosive missions. She’s running around, her small feet taking her across the battlefield, her cheerful giggles trailing behind her as she launches bombs in every direction. And as much as the others cringe, you can’t help but adore her.
You find yourself cheering her on from your place above, your voice soft yet full of encouragement:
"Go, Klee! You’re doing great! You’ve got this, just a few more bombs and you'll show them who's boss!"
You can practically see her face light up, as though she’s hearing your words, her giggles growing even more infectious.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!" she cheers, as the explosions continue, and you think, maybe I’ll draw her with all those sparkles around her next time—oh, how fun it would be to make her look like a literal firecracker in my painting!
Diona
Then there’s Diona, your favorite little bartender, who may look small but holds her ground with her ferocious attitude toward anyone who dares to doubt her drink-making skills. You’ve seen her concoct all sorts of strange but (somehow) delicious potions, and you're there, in the background, naming all the ingredients she might use for her drinks.
"Hmm, Diona," you muse from your corner, a grin spreading across your face, "How about you add some mint leaves for a refreshing taste and a splash of lavender for a calming effect. A little honey wouldn’t hurt either!"
She pauses, glaring at the air for a moment, as if pondering the suggestion. After a moment, she huffs, shaking her head. “Hmph. You think you know better than me? Fine, I’ll give it a shot. But it’s still gonna be better than anything that idiot swillmaster makes.”
You laugh, quietly, adoring her tenacity. You can’t wait to paint her, maybe with some of the fresh ingredients floating around her, her tiny arms crossed in that cute, pouty manner.
Kazuha and Sayu
Kazuha and Sayu often wander the lands of Inazuma together, sharing stories of the world. But you can’t help but notice how small and innocent they both look, especially when they get caught up in their small adventures.
Kazuha, while wise and calm, becomes this beautiful and somewhat soothing sight as he plays his flute while Sayu, despite being a ninja, tries to keep up but always ends up sleepy or distracted by the clouds.
“Hey, Kazuha, you should totally give Sayu a ride on your back,” you suggest with a soft chuckle, watching as Sayu tries to climb up Kazuha’s back and ultimately just ends up lying down instead.
You adore their dynamic. Kazuha always smiles when you’re cheering them on, and Sayu often gives you a tiny wink as if saying, “I know, I know. I’m cute.”
Nahida
Nahida, the archon of wisdom, might be incredibly powerful, but she has a youthful curiosity that’s completely contagious. You find yourself constantly beaming as she gets excited over learning new things, always running around with a little notebook, jotting down facts about the world, or chasing after butterflies in the fields.
"Look at her go," you muse as you watch her from afar, your heart swelling with pride. "She’s so curious, so full of life. You can do it, Nahida! Keep chasing that butterfly! It's yours!"
She looks up from her butterfly chase, beams with her bright, warm smile, as if hearing your praise. There’s a part of you that can’t wait to draw her—capturing her joyful energy, her hair fluttering in the wind, and her little hands reaching out for the world.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, the characters who watch you interact with these little ones are torn between being endearingly amused and very confused.
Albedo, who sees you painting these adorable scenes of the children, may quietly ask, “Are you sure you want to paint them this way? They’re… quite a handful, aren’t they?”
Zhongli, ever the calming presence, merely chuckles, his hands clasped. “Let them be, my friend. You’ve captured their true nature in your artwork, as always.”
Diluc, on the other hand, simply raises an eyebrow when he overhears you cheering for the kids. He can’t quite decide if it's adorable or baffling, but he keeps his opinions to himself, lest you get any more ideas to paint him in some weirdly soft light.
Tumblr media
Before long, you find yourself starting an entire gallery dedicated to your love for the younger characters. Klee’s explosive adventures, Diona’s sassy bartending, and Nahida’s innocent curiosity are now immortalized in stunning, vibrant colors. Every character is fascinated by your works—some even request copies.
And you know what? It doesn’t matter that you’re the creator, or that your abilities stretch beyond the limits of mere mortals. For these small, lovable, and endlessly adorable children of Teyvat? They will always have your heart.

Nct dream  Reaction | You Confess Your Feelings to Him
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: nct dream x female!reader
Genre: fluff, relationship.
Note 1: English is not my first language, so I apologize if there are any grammatical errors, because I sometimes use a translator in some sentences.
Note 2 : Confessing your feelings takes courage, but it's also the first step to something beautiful.
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Mark Lee
Mark would be caught completely off guard. He’d stare at you for a moment, processing your words with wide eyes.
"Wait, really? You like me? Like, like like me?"
Once it sinks in, a shy smile would spread across his face. He’d rub the back of his neck awkwardly but wouldn’t be able to hide the happiness in his eyes.
"Wow, uh... I didn’t see this coming, but honestly, I feel the same way."
Huang Renjun
Renjun would act cool on the outside, but inside, he’d be panicking. He’d raise an eyebrow and try to maintain his composure.
"Is this a joke? You’re being serious?"
When you assure him you are, a soft blush would creep up his cheeks. He’d look away for a second before turning back to you with a small smile.
"I guess I’ll admit… I’ve liked you for a while too."
Lee Jeno
Jeno would be the type to smile immediately. He’d look at you with those kind, sparkly eyes and tilt his head slightly.
"You’re serious? That’s… wow. I wasn’t expecting this."
He’d chuckle nervously, trying to hide how happy he is. After a moment, he’d gently take your hand and say,
"I’ve been waiting for the right moment to tell you I like you too."
Lee Haechan
Haechan would instantly go into teasing mode. He’d smirk and cross his arms.
"Wow, you’ve got good taste. Of course, you’d fall for someone as amazing as me."
But after seeing your nervous expression, his playful demeanor would soften. He’d grin and add,
"Just kidding. I like you too, you know. Took you long enough to say something!"
Na Jaemin
Jaemin would react with pure warmth and affection. He’d give you one of his signature bright smiles and step closer to you.
"You have no idea how happy this makes me."
He wouldn’t hesitate to express his feelings, reaching out to take your hand or maybe even give you a comforting hug.
"I’ve been waiting for the right time to tell you, but you beat me to it."
Zhong Chenle
Chenle would probably burst out laughing, but not in a mocking way more out of disbelief and nervousness.
"Are you serious right now? You’re not joking, right?"
Once he sees how sincere you are, he’d stop laughing and give you a soft smile.
"This is crazy because I was literally just thinking about confessing to you."
Park Jisung
Jisung would freeze on the spot, his ears turning bright red. He’d fumble over his words, trying to respond.
"You… you like me? Like, romantically?"
Once he calms down a bit, he’d shyly admit,
"Wow, I didn’t expect this, but… I like you too. I just didn’t know how to tell you."

A3! Translation: Chikage SSR Card “Rouge Rose of Love” [Valentine’s Day Gossip]
How will Chikage deal with Valentine's Day this year? He receives a blessing and a curse of course.
Tumblr media
Part 1
Tumblr media
Chikage
Never thought I’d share lunch with Chigasaki.
Itaru
I mean, it’s just the pizza place if we’re looking at the big picture, that’s the only common link.
Pizza Shop Clerk
Thank you for waiting, here’s your parmesan and diavola.
Chikage
Thanks, diavola’s finally here.
Itaru
I’m surprised, I half expected it to look ridiculously red like some sort of challenge menu.
Chikage
Chigasaki-san, maybe you’re just not enough of a junkie?
Itaru
Ahaha, you’d be wrong.
Pizza Shop Clerk
Excuse me for interrupting your meal, but we’re passing out our new Chocolate Chunk pizza, would you like to sample them out?
Itaru
Hehh, looks good. Thanks for the food.
Pizza Shop Clerk
Thanks for your feedback! How about you, sir?
Chikage
Sorry but I’ll have to pass, my doctor told me to avoid sweets.
Pizza Shop Clerk
I see, I apologize. Please continue enjoying your meal.
Itaru
…Is that your new year’s excuse now?
Chikage
Whatever do you mean?
Itaru
It’s about to be Valentine’s soon.
Chikage
…Ahh, so that explains the chocolate on the new menu.
Itaru
That look on you, it definitely went over your head.
Chikage
Because I’m not interested.
Itaru
Senpai you might not be, but the female employees definitely are. I overheard them talking about giving out some love chocolate to a certain senior.
There used to be rumors of you having a fiancée, but they pretty much lost their status effect now.
You’ve gotten some before here and there too.
Chikage
Well, they say gossip stays around for about 75 days or so, someone out there probably thinks I’ve been married off silently.
Who am I to deny it, even.
Itaru
Come to think of it, you’re gonna go shopping with director-san today. Wouldn’t that be the perfect chance to get down on your knee?
Chikage
Kneeling in front of director-san in public would be too unfair to her.
…In any case, I feel guilty about pulling director-san into this mess, so I’ll try and think of something else.
Tumblr media
Izumi
Wow, the star anises really have such a pretty shape to them!
Chikage
By the way, Tsuzuru said he’s gonna make fried rice tomorrow, buying this would make it more authentic, right?
Izumi
Hmm, that’s true but then again… they look so beautiful that it feels like such a waste.
Chikage
Then, how about we buy some cinnamon sticks and make some mulled wine?
Izumi
Sounds like a plan! Let’s go with that!
Spice Specialty Store Clerk
——Sorry to keep you waiting.
Regarding the spice you ordered, I checked and it seems like it’s gonna be delayed due to some logistics issues…
I apologize for not informing you in advance.
Chikage
No worries, so when can we expect to receive it?
Spice Specialty Store Clerk
I think you can get it in around 4 days.
Chikage
Four days from now… I have a meeting on that day, so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make it before closing time.
Spice Specialty Store Clerk
I’m sincerely terribly sorry…!
Chikage
It’s fine, it’s not like we’re in a hurry. I’ll come by again on the weekend.
Izumi
Oh, well in that case, should I get it in your stead?
Chikage
You okay with that?
Izumi
Yup, I happen to have some errands nearby that day.
Chikage
Then please be my guest.
Izumi
Mhm, leave it to me!
Chikage
…Sorry, thank you as always.
Izumi
What’s wrong? You’re suddenly all serious…
Chikage
Nothing, just a lot on my mind.
Part 2
Tumblr media
Tsumugi
…Whew, this mulled wine really hits the spot, it’s got some nice spices on it.
Citron
Gets me feeling all warm~
Azuma
The star anise adds a beautiful touch to it too.
Chikage
Director-san said the same thing too, so my suggestion on using it for fried rice was a no-go.
Azuma
Fufu, that makes sense. That’s definitely like her.
So, where’s the director at?
Chikage
Looks like the sleep got to her. To think she was the one who was looking forward to it the most.
Itaru
Sleeping this early is gonna mess up her sleep hygiene.
Azuma
Yeah, I received some chocolate that goes well with the alcohol, I wanted the director to try them out too.
Sakyo
You’ve got that pricey stuff on you again.
Banri
In a few days the place’s gonna get flooded with chocolate from everyone, so director-chan still got a chance to eat some.
Tsumugi
You’re right, Valentine’s is just around the corner.
Itaru
In other words, the overpowered senpai is gonna have his weakness revealed soon.
Chikage
This is a serious matter though.
Itaru
Just call it schadenfreude I guess.
Banri
Ain’t that old news?
Tasuku
So do you have any counter-measures in mind already?
Chikage
Nothing yet unfortunately.
Itaru
At lunch you turned down that chocolate pizza talking about some “My doctor told me not to eat it.” excuse.
Chikage
If I use that excuse at work, it’ll stir up a different kind of trouble.
Tsumugi
Hmm, then again it’s hard to come up with a reason to turn them down especially when it’s done out of the goodwill of the giver.
Chikage
But this year I got a full day’s worth of meetings scheduled so I think I can manage.
Banri
Oh, well that’s a relief.
Citron
It is no relief! Just a temporary solution! That will not do! The same troubles will appear again next year!
Itaru
…He’s being sensible for once.
Chikage
I forgot about it this year and couldn’t do anything so far, but next year I’ll be on a business trip.
Citron
No! That is still a temporary solution!
Banri
Feels like the issue’s just growing.
Citron
That is why we should practice rejection together!
Chikage
Practice rejection?
Azuma
Fufu, well isn’t this interesting.
Tasuku
That’s to be expected, honestly.
Tumblr media
Itaru
…I’m not surprised anymore at this point, but still, why me?
Citron
But of course! This is a family matter for everyone!
Chikage
Sorry, Chigasaki.
Itaru
Nah, you don’t sound sorry at all. …Sigh, it’s a relief I got up and finished an event early.
Chikage
So Citron, we went all the way out in Veludo way, care to explain why that is?
Itaru
Yeah, you can practice rejection at the dorms.
Citron
That much is obvious. It is because we are actors! This is the only place to practice!
Chikage
That’s…
Itaru
Do you mean…
Citron
Frankly, a rejection etude! Yes!
Passerby A
Oh, isn’t that spring troupe?
Passerby B
It is! Think they’re up to doing a street act?
Chikage & Itaru
Itaru
…I’m not sure if I’m up for this.
Chikage
Let’s just get this over with.
Chikage & Itaru
Passerby A
…He’s looking at his phone, is he waiting for a notif?
Passerby B Maybe he’s checking the time.
Chikage
“Are you here to meet someone too?”
Itaru
“Eh?” Chikage
“I mean, isn't it Valentine's day?”
Itaru
“Yeah that’s true, some lady hit me up and told me to meet her here around 1pm.”
Chikage
“What a coincidence, I’m here for the same reason.”
“Whenever I get called out like this on Valentine’s Day, I get excited like some highschooler wondering what it’s for.”
Itaru
“Yeah, I get you. Me too.”
“Forgive me for prying but… have you decided on an answer yet?”
Chikage
“Hmm, I was thinking of turning down——”
Itaru
“Ehh, you too?”
Chikage
“So you’re in the same boat?”
Citron
“——Sorry, I was late!” Chikage & Itaru
“No, it’s fine——”
Chikage
“Ehh…”
Itaru
“Eh?”
Citron
“Eeh!? Chikage and Itaru, why are you both here…”
“...No way, silly me! I accidentally sent the message to both of you!”
Chikage & Itaru
“Huh…?”
Passerby A
… So basically, one of them’s the genuine one and the other is a backup?
Passerby B
Woah…
Chikage
“Um, Itaru-san, do you have a second?”
Itaru
“Yeah, of course. I was meaning to talk to you too.”
Chikage
“You can reject first.”
Itaru
“Eh, no way, that’d make me seem like the backup. You should be the first to actually say no.”
Chikage
“That’s gonna be a different story.”
Kanazuka
So this is Veludo Way. It’s my first time here, but there sure are a lot of people… Huh? Seems like there’s a crowd over there.
Chikage
“——I’m not giving up, even if I was just the second option, I can’t let it end like this!” Kanazuka
!? Is that Utsuki-san and Chigasaki-san from the company…!? This is unbelievable…!
Part 3
Tumblr media
Chikage
Thanks for your hard work throughout the meeting.
Employee A
Great job as well. Ah, since it’s Valentine’s Day, I prepared some chocolate.
Employee B
This calls for tea time, then. I’ll go make some coffee. You drink coffee too, right, Utsuki-san?
Chikage
I——.
Employee A
Oops, I think Utsuki-san will get some from his girlfriend later.
Yeah, that’s right. Sorry about that, Utsuki-san.
Chikage
…? No it’s okay.
Then, I’ll take my leave.
Tumblr media
Chikage
(If I head over there now, I think I can make it just in time for closing time. I wonder if I should contact director-san about how the spices are.)
Itaru
——Hey, senpai. You got a minute?
Chikage
Chigasaki?
Tumblr media
Chikage
Is it something urgent? If it’s not, just tell me about it at home.
Itaru
Looks like the gossip hasn’t reached you yet.
Chikage
Gossip?
Itaru
Apparently, even though your fiancée is dating me now, there’s a rumor going around that you haven’t given up on her completely…
Chikage
…Hah?
Itaru
A co-worker saw that previous street act we did and mistook it for a fight between you and me.
Chikage
Street act…
You surely don’t mean the one where Citron pulled a bootcamp over dealing with “rejection”, right?
Itaru
That’s right, after all it wasn’t rehearsed at all and we ended up just going with the flow of Citron’s act.
Chikage
…So that explains it, is that why I felt a weird vibe during the meeting earlier?
Itaru
We’re actors, that’s understood by regulars of Veludo Way, but the co-worker that happened to witness it was someone unfamiliar with the whole concept.
Then the gossip mill jumped on the bandwagon and said stuff like “Maybe there’s some truth beneath the surface of that act.”
Chikage
Talk about a pain…
Itaru
You said it.
Chikage
(I kinda took advantage of that in the past, so I don’t really have the right to complain.)
Chikage
… Speaking of, what happened to the rumor that Chigasaki’s sister is my fiancée?
Itaru
I don’t know, I think they just assumed you’ve broken up.
Then, what do we do? Looks like senpai’s history with love is getting pretty complicated.
Chikage
Whatever, it’ll probably just die down soon anyway so I won’t do anything about it, I’ll just head home.
Besides, hanging around you like this might be counterproductive.
Itaru
True that. I’ll wrap up my overtime work and head home early too.
Tumblr media
Chikage
(...Not sure if it’s the rumor’s effect or I’m just being overly conscious of it, but I didn’t get any chocolate at all.)
(...It could be better, but I guess it still works out in the end, that rumor will die down soon, and I’m sure the director——)
Izumi
Ah, Chikage-san!
Chikage
Director-san?
Izumi
I got to the store early and had some time so I thought of bringing it to you directly.
Chikage
That’s right, I was just thinking of telling you to meet there since I could make it before closing time, but…
I realized I completely forgot to do it.
Izumi
Really now? That’s pretty rare for you, Chikage-san.
Chikage
A bit of an unexpected issue came up.
Izumi
Good on you for dealing with it.
Chikage
… Director-san, are you in a good mood?
Izumi
Fufu, I just found something good, is all. Ah right, the spices, here you go.
Chikage
Thanks. You’re a huge help.
(... There’s a ribbon on it, is this part of the service?)
(From an outsider’s perspective, they’ll probably assume I’m receiving Valentine’s chocolate out of context.)
(Not sure if the director noticed, but I feel the gaze of people from the company around for a while now.)
Izumi
What’s up?
Chikage
Nothing, it’s just that it feels like a gift when it’s ribboned like this.
Izumi
It is… kind of a present.
Chikage
Present?
(There’s something else aside from the spices I asked her to pick up.)
Chikage
…Does this bottle also have spice?
[ Option 1: Open and see for yourself ] Izumi Open it and check it out. Chikage Right here? Izumi Is it not good here? Chikage That’s not the issue but… well I’ll just open it.
[ Option 2: It’s nothing suspicious ] Izumi Don’t worry, it’s not fishy or anything. Chikage Should I be concerned? Izumi No, I mean it! It really is just a gift. Chikage Well, as long as it’s director-san, I’ll believe it.
Chikage
…Chocolate?
Izumi
Yup, they’re spice seeds coated in chocolate, they were pretty good when I tried them out at the store!
I bought it thinking maybe Chikage-san could enjoy it too, it’s Valentine’s Day after all.
Chikage
Izumi
Oh, don’t worry about returning the favor, a tasty curry made with the spices would just be fine.
Chikage
(I didn’t mean to drag you into this again… I’m sure the gossip’s gonna get updated tomorrow.)
…It’s not my fault anymore, it’s the director’s.
Izumi
Hm?
Story Clear!

SUPERFLY CAN’T HELP but grunt derisively at Xever speaking of others hiding their intentions. He held no derision for the fish himself, of course, just…he can’t understand it.  “ But how could they stand there after everything humans put us through and still side with them ?  It makes no sense. If you ask me, they just couldn’t handle doin’ the HARD stuff. Never could. Always had t’ leave it to their ever so capable older brother. “  He can’t keep the bitterness and resentment from dripping in every word. Speaking in terms of literal years, he’d never been much older than they were. He was a baby raising babies at one point. Yet he still pulled up his bootstraps and got crap done, because someone had to. He’d just hoped that someday they’d GROW UP and return the favour for friggin’ ONCE. Maybe it’s on him for assuming too much of them.
His agitation quiets a little at the addition that one couldn’t be really HONEST on the streets.  “ Yeah, I learned that the hard way, “  he mumbles.  “ First time I dipped my toes in crime stuff, I didn’t know what I was doin’. Had a guy willin’ to show me some ropes, though. Made the mistake of thinkin’ us gettin’ CHUMMY somehow made us friends. Then when things got rough and I wanted out, first thing he did was threaten everything I cared about, ‘cause I’d been stupid enough to tell him things I shouldn’t have. “  Given that they’re stopped, the fly takes a moment to loosen his grip and lean back, exhaling a sigh through spiracles.  “ He wound up bein’ the first man I’d ever taken out. If ya’ catch my drift, “  he adds with a nod towards Xever. And he’d do it again if he had to. Screw that guy.
Although he remains quiet throughout the fish’s speech out of politeness, he can feel the agitation creeping in at the suggestion that he scared his family. That he displayed some kind of insecurity. But really, those things aren’t really a surprise to him. He knows he scared them. He knows he wasn’t always as confident as he made himself out to be. He just never wanted to admit that.  The only reason he doesn’t give one of his usual knee-jerk reactions is likely because he can tell that Xever’s not judging him for that. Not by the way the fish relays his own story. Even if some of the things he says in relation to said anecdote make Superfly want to shift awkwardly in his seat from how uncomfortably close it hit home.
Tumblr media
“ …You’re askin’ a lot of questions, “  is all the fly says at first. But it’s just deflection, avoidance, because whatever the TRUE answer to any of these questions are, Superfly’s simply not ready to admit to them yet. Because that would mean admitting HE was the problem, and he’s not willing to do that.  “ I just did what I had to t’ take care of ‘em, man. Sometimes takin’ care o’ people means gettin’ ugly and doin’ things they don’t like for their greater good. Sometimes you just gotta be the BAD GUY t’ get things done. Means you get blamed for a lotta their problems too. “  ( He still remembers Bebop and Rock’s exchange, claiming HE was the reason they were angry all the time. What a joke. )  “ Way I see it, they found some OTHER folks who put shiny ideas in their naive heads, and decided on a whim that I was the cause of all their problems. I’ll give it a WEEK ‘fore they realize I was RIGHT. “
He’s more than glad to get off the bike by this point, too worked up to stay on for another second.  “ Cool. I’ll follow your lead. “
By this point the pair were now close to the docks. The traffic began to grow less and less as time went on. Only when they reached the waterfront did Xever finally bring the bike to a stop. The pair had talked a lot on the way here, Xever honestly felt lighter since he had admitted some stuff he had kept hidden for a the longest time. Something about Fly rang true to him in some respects. Like they were both jaded souls who the world just seemed to keep crapping on. Xever had to wonder where they went wrong, if there was something the pair could have done to make their lives better. Were they doomed to just be the punchingbags of this world while other far more deserving people got off scot free? Xever wasn't sure.
"Everyone has their own views, hard to tell sometimes what people truly want. They hide their intentions, because sometimes admitting to something they don't want to admit to is harder than just trying to push that truth away from yourself. I admit that I have a hardtime being honest with people. I felt like I couldn't be honest, because that is weakness and to appear weak on the streets is tantamount to death. You can't leave anything that can be used against you."
Not even from those you might feel connected to. You can't even show them your weaker side because they depend on you. And if they saw that you too weren't as strong as you protray yourself to be then would they still hold you in that same regard? Xever saw so much of himself within Superfly or parts of himself at the very least.
Tumblr media
"Maybe, they turned on you because they felt like they saw a side of you that scared them. A side you never felt confident to show them. I did that to someone I took care of and well I did something I couldn't take back. I regret that, because that person was the only person I ever truly cared about which was hard enough being the loner than I am. I can't ever have that connection with them anymore because the side of me they saw was far too ugly. I got way too mad, I said things I did things, it was partly the turtles fault too. As they often are with most things that went wrong with my life here."
Xever felt like he was maybe digging too deep here. He had only just met this guy, but this pile of emotions felt so akin to his own he couldn't help but look into Superfly and see a mirror.
"I could be wrong though, I am not a good person. And despite that I still want to say sorry to the other person. But, even saying sorry might not be enough because they saw something ugly inside me. We can't have what we had anymore, because that side is exposed now. They see it and it will always be there reminding them of it. Tell me, did you hide parts of yourself from your family? Did you feel like there were certain things you couldn't say to them? Because they relied on you? And if they knew you were scared they wouldn't view you the same? How often did you ever let down your guard around them? Show them how vulnerable you were? How much bravado did you project? And how much of it was real? Because I did the same thing, and it builds up in you until it explodes. The turtles feel more like they are the thing that causes that explosion. It is their fault, but how much of the problem was lingering there before they blew it up?"
This was something that Xever realised long after everything was over. He still hated the turtles, they were the source of his woes. But with Mondo, how much of it was simply issues within himself that he kept hidden? If he had been more honest or tried to show his emotions more clearly Mondo might not hate him now.
"This is the place..."

I do kind of hope a series gives us a Megatron and Optimus with a “strangers to respected enemies/rivals to potentially more (at least in the fanfics)” sort of dynamic
Because I feel like that doesn’t really happen, at least not to my knowledge. I feel like if Megatron has a respect for Optimus, it’s usually due to their long, shared history, not something that develops over the course of the series
And I know some people say that’s what happens in TFA, but no, it really doesn’t. The two never reach the “respect” part, with Optimus hating Megatron for being an evil villain, and Megatron seeing him as a nuisance at best and never bothering to learn his name, only calling him it once like 2 minutes after being told it earlier in the fight, which I think in context doesn’t really count for much
I just feel like it’d be neat to properly explore, especially since I’m realizing we seem to have it fairly consistently be that they were “old friends” for a while now, let’s shake it up a little

considering possiblyyyyy including the rest of the 7 teens in the rewrite in some capacity but like not as ashas friends but not as background characters either bc I wanna keep them as a group to some extent but not like acquaintances yk?? If that makes sense? my idea is maybe they can also work in the castle like dahlia does bc iirc shes the only one who directly works there but everyone else just kinda either bummed around or helped her out but that was kinda it?? So I’m considering maybe I could make them work in other parts of the castle so like I said they can be considered a group/collective bc they work in the same place but don’t actually hang out or anything ? But yeah idk shrugs it’s felt a bit odd for me to straight up have them not in it at all bc making them just bg characters feels weird bc aforementioned Simon and dahlia being ashas friends would be kinda out of place/pointless reference wise if you didn’t have all the dwarfs together in some form or fashion
so uhhhhh reason I’m making this post at all is bc I’d love to have any suggestions for like their jobs or thing they do etc
also yes this is just an excuse to include bazima bc I love her but won’t fit in the current group dynamic /hj

Changed my theme!! Tried going for a purple celestial vibe but I kind of don’t like it now 💀💀 lmao even after all the effort I put into it too. I had a better image in my head and I feel like I didn’t translate it well. I’ll go to sleep and if I wake up and still hate it I’ll fix it lol

Robin had never been on to be quiet while on a mission. Thankfully, his team shared the sentiment. "Nice to meat you!" Beast Boy yelled as he slammed a raw steak into the goons face. Raven snorted at the bad pun, sending another group of workers flying. "Robin on your left!" Starfire called, diving behind an empty container. Dick had already seen the man charge, but he gave a quick nod of thanks, leaping onto the high beams of the slaughterhouse and using the momentum to swing back around, kicking the man in the face. Unconscious. Or not. Hands grabbed his feet and suddenly Dick was flying, slamming into the wall hard. "robin!" Starfire screamed. Dick got back up, but he could feel his shoulder wasn't right, could feel the broken bits of bone now floating around in his arm. His team finished fairly quickly, and Dick lent a hand when he could, covering his injury to the best of his ability. "Solid work Titans." He smiled as they filed out of the factory, goons tied up, and headed back to the tower. "You might say we were the... wieners today." Garfield laughed, holding up a hand for a high five as Starfire and Raven rolled their eyes. "It wasn't bad." Victor admitted. "yes it was." Raven muttered. Dick chuckled, shifting away from them. "I have something to attend to. I'll see you guys later." He excused himself, moving to the Tube and zetaing home as fast as his shaking left hand could type in the coordinates. The tube had barely even slid open and he was stumbling into the cave, legs weak, a whimper escaping his lips. Bruce shot up from the Batchair at the sound of pain and whirled around, sprinting over when he saw how pale Dick was. "robin!" He vaulted over the table and caught Dick just as his legs gave out from under him, bile spilling from his mouth. "easy there." Bruce soothed, stripping his mask and suit off with practiced ease and settling him on the med bay table. "arm." Dick gasped, then allowed himself to be dragged into oblivion.
"Good effort today boys." Red Hood growled to his men. "But it drew attention. Head back to base, head to your families. Lay low for a while. I'll contact you for the next job. Davis, Gerald, I need you to patrol the Staves, Ron, watch left shore." His men nodded at the orders, peeling off. "boss, when we-" "I'm not heading back to base." Jason cut him off. Gary stumbled back in surprise. "But-" "We all need to lay low for a while. I'll be back at base in a few days. Take a break Gary." Gary nodded, the cigar that seemed permanently fastened to his lip twisting with his mouth. "You sure Boss?" Jason nodded, moving to his bike. "Yes. If you don't, keep an eye on the Alley, and tell Dieves to watch the bay." Gary nodded. "of course sir." Jason nodded once more and swung his leg over his bike, speeding off. His right leg was screaming at him, and he was fairly sure he had a concussion at the very least, internal bleeding at most. It was pure luck and survival mode that kept him on his bike, hitting the accelerator for all he was worth. The bike had just barely breached the cave entrance when Jason slid off, his bike skidding across the floor and slamming into the wall. "jay!" Bruce's feet scrambled across the floor and suddenly there was light on his face as Bruce removed his mask, tapping his cheek. "Stay with me bud." Bruce pleaded, lifting Jason into his arms like he weighed nothing. "Sleep." Jason murmured back. "No!" Bruce growled, setting him on the table. "Not yet." Jason let out a small whimper as his father ridded him of his suit. Bruce hissed as he took in the mangled wreck that was Jasons right leg. "Jay." he breathed. "Safe?" Jason managed weakly. Bruce pressed a kiss to his forehead. "Yes Jason. You're safe. I'm right here. Its okay." Jason let out a small sigh. "Good." He murmured, then allowed the darkness to take him.
Red Robin hissed as his fingers prodded the exposed flesh of his stomach. He was fairly certain the organ seeping out of his stomach was his liver, but only because he knew it couldn't be his spleen. "robin?" Kon came around the corner. Tim dropped his shirt, turning with a smile. "yeah superboy?" He asked cheerfully. "We're heading to town. Maybe to a few bars. You wanna join?" Kon asked. "The mission was uh.. not fun. So a little celebration is in order, don't you think?" Tim's smile became a little strained. "I'd love to, yeah." He agreed. Kon grinned. "great." Tim swallowed the iron taste that built in the back of his throat and followed his team to town. It was three hours before they returned to base, half of them drunk, the other half acting as if. Tim laughed, allowing Kon and Artemis to throw their arms around him as he joined them in singing a tune they had learned only an hour prior. "alright alright," Tim finally separated, moving to his room. "I'm beat. See you all in the morning." They all waved with varying levels of sobriety and Tim turned, quickly making his way to his room and then the Zeta tube, hitting the home button. Bruce was waiting, face ashen. "You hit your alert button four hours ago." He growled. Tim nodded numbly, stumbling slightly now that he was away from his team and didn't have anyone to lean on. "Got... distracted." He muttered. The ground suddenly seemed very appealing. Bruce's hands were under his arms and they were moving to a bed instead, and Tim relaxed as his head touched the pillow, Bruce's gentle hands roving over his body. "Side." he whispered, letting his eyes drift shut. "Gods Timmy." Bruce breathed. Tim hummed back. "I'll be fine." he murmured. "Make me some coffee yeah?" he asked. Bruce let out a amused huff of air. "Sure Timmy. Sleep now. Coffee later." "Okay." Tim agreed easily, letting sleep take him, safe in the knowledge Bruce was there.
Being a Batkid doesn’t mean pushing through pain just for the ego or superiority win. It means pushing through pain long enough to make it somewhere safe to get help. It means not giving anyone, even an ally, a chance to parse weakness.
Dick finishes a rough mission with the Titans where he got thrown hard into a wall, smiles and jokes with everyone, and then zetas back to the Cave where he promptly throws up and collapses because almost every bone in his left arm is broken and not a single person noticed.

JAILBIRD
Ghost becomes pen pals with an inmate before deciding that he wants to adopt his little jailbird.
Word count: 4.1k
Tw: inmate reader, reader is kept as vauge as possible but is implied to be younger than Ghost, violence, stalking, ghost is a perv, p in v, oral (f! Receiving), creampie, spanking (once), orgasm denial if you squint, unprotected sex, NOT edited we die like men.
Edited to Add: Part Two is posted :)
Notes: Baby’s first fanfic, please be gentle. Let me know if I missed any trigger warnings or if you want to see more! I have an idea for a second part but I don’t know if anyone wants it, right now it’s tucked away safely in my drafts. Enjoy! :)
P.S. I’m thinking about making an ao3 account and publishing an edited version of this on there. I’ll link it if I do! I’ve already spent too much time procrastinating finals but christmas break is around the corner so who knows.
The letter came with the top serrated, already opened, as all your letters came. You mostly ignored them. There were a couple of programs that allowed people to become pen pals with prisoners but you’d been there long enough to know what they often contained.
Many of the women milked poor losers on the outside. Money given and sent. Promises of butterfly kisses and blowjobs whispered over the phone. Exchanges. Some were even able to sweet talk their honeys into giving bribes. Money passed into hands of guards, currency that was then exchanged for cigarettes, which were much more valuable on the inside than the bills used on the outside.
You don’t know why you read this letter. It certainly wasn’t the penmanship, a scrawled handwriting that lay between cursive and print. Maybe it was the blue pen, you’d recognize a Bic anywhere, or maybe it was the fact that it smelled a bit like top-shelf liquor.
It was rather blunt. But not in an obscene way. Simple and straight to the point as if constrained by an unknown word count. It wasn’t memorable, but what else was there to do? Pace your cell back and forth and wait for zoochosis to settle further in your bones. Close your eyes and remember what freedom tasted like before it dissolved in your mouth.
The pen they gave you was cheap, the paper even cheaper, but you were used to making things work. Your reply was shorter than his, than Simon’s, but it got the job done. If he wanted to write back he would. If he didn’t, well, the new prison guard was starting to get rather handsy with you. The time will pass no matter what.
___
His replies came in strange patterns. Some weeks you’d get eight in a week, other times you wouldn’t hear from him for a few months. It took a year for the first phone call of which lasted less than a minute and consisted mostly of him grunting on the other end and a schlick sound you pretended not to notice. It was his fourth phone call that he finally said a few words in a voice so low it made the phone buzz against your ear, tickling like a lover's breath. Eventually, you had some semblance of conversations, even if they were interrupted by a recorded voice warning you of the time you had left.
He told you he was a soldier and at first, you planned on cutting the whole penpal idea off. Even before you got arrested you hated bootlickers more than anything. But Simon grew on you, and your friends all suggested you get in his good graces to see if he could pull some strings. You would’ve felt guilty if he was anything other than glorified government property. Both of you were.
The first thing he gave you was a book, The Yellow Wallpaper, which was thicker than you remembered from the time you read it in school. It was only when you cracked open the spine did you find a pack of cigarettes inside, the pages carved out so your real present could be placed inside. You couldn’t help the smile that split your lips as you pressed one between your lips, not noticing the tiny S carved into it.
You thank him for the gift by whispering his name into the phone. A mantra, a prayer, it didn’t matter as long as you kept your voice breathy. He promises to get you more and you learn not to refuse him. At one point, you notice that little robotic voice doesn’t time you anymore. The guard who couldn’t keep his hands to himself was replaced with a woman, hair pulled back into a military-style bun. And you got an extra cookie with your meals.
It took a year for him to visit. You knew it was coming eventually, men are only fine with their imagination for so long before they crave something tangible. Hell, even you were curious about the man who wanted to sink his teeth into you. It almost felt like getting ready for a date. Butterflies dropped like lead in your stomach as you tried to tidy your appearance as much as you could. You smelled, but there wasn’t much you could do about that. The whole damn prison smelled like a county fair bathroom. The lack of air conditioning in the heat of summer just added a sweet BO tinge.
The first thing you noticed about Simon was his size. You had never met a man as big as he was. The next was the thick scar tissue that marred his face. Though, even without the scars you would be hesitant to ever call him handsome.
Intimidating.
That was what came to mind staring at the thick cords of muscle that covered his arms and the broadness of his shoulders wasn’t just genetics. And he just stared at you. You glanced at the phone that connected to his on the other side of the glass and back at him but decided against it.
You offered him a small smile and an awkward wave. It unnerved you. The focus and attention pinned you in place. Normally you kinned yourself to a tiger you saw at a zoo when you were a child. One that paced back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. A habit you understood all too well. But sitting in front of your pen pal you realized you were rather off.
Simon was the tiger and you were the bird that caught his attention.
It took far too long for the guard to come and collect you. For once you were grateful to retreat back to your cell, so much so that in your retreat you failed to notice the nod your warden gave Simon.
___
After that Simon met with you in person as often as was allowed. He never said anything and neither did you. Eventually, the novelty of him wore off. Humans were rather adaptable creatures, and you could only be scared of the man for so long before your body adjusted to him. Despite your silence, Simon didn’t appear displeased with you. In fact, it was almost the opposite of it. More gifts arrived.
A pillow, high-end shampoo, a toothbrush (that you had a strange suspicion was used before being given to you), nail polish, and more cigarettes. Some of the women were jealous of the attention given to you, others tried to get with you to share your bounty. Somehow you dodged most of the conflict. But you can only run so long while trapped with so many women.
When you showed up to your meeting sporting a bruised cheek and split lip the air quickly changed. Before you thought Simon looked like a predator.
You were wrong.
Fear coursed through your veins and you recognized the look in his eyes. Every woman in the damn place knows what a hunger for violence looked like. Slowly he reached out an arm, the sleeve of his hoodie riding up slightly showing off tattoos, before grabbing the phone and pressing it to his ear. With a shaking hand, you did the same.
“Bird.” His voice was somehow deeper in real life than over the phone.
“You should see the other guy.”
His lips twitched.
There was something uncanny about his eyes. They weren’t brown, they were black. Obsidian. You realized that before, the first time you met him, he wasn’t trying to scare you. Though, you were pretty sure it wasn’t directed at you.
“Just a little spat is all Simon. Everything sorted itself out.”
All over a bottle of nail polish. Tempers run short in prison. You spend most of your days in a cell, and what little free time you get surrounded by the same insufferable bitches, it’s a mystery there isn’t more violence. For the most part, things were settled with words. The more physical an inmate gets the more time spent in your cell. There were some weeks where you spent twenty-three hours a day in that little room.
Simon let out a sigh as if dealing with you was the most insufferable part of his day.
“Did ye’ get medical attention a’ least?”
You nodded your head.
He gave a grunt.
That seemed to be his preferred method of communication with you. Caveman grunts and growls, the occasional moan over the phone he couldn’t hold back. You figured it had something to do with his job. He was quite tight-lipped about it, but you gathered he has co-workers (his squad? Platoon? What was the proper lingo?). Despite this, you were under the impression he spent the majority of his time alone. He always seemed more primal after those month-long stints of silence.
You always wondered how you would feel if he never contacted you again. Went out and didn’t come back. Would you assume he was dead? That he moved on to prettier things that aren’t locked away? Would it make a difference to you?
No. It wouldn’t.
Even now you got letters upon letters from other men. Though none were as giving as Simon was.
It was back to silence and staring contests that you were used to. The both of you slipping into a familiarity. He never put the phone back. Even when your warden came and escorted you back. You didn’t glance back at him.
Tucked away in your cell you didn’t get to watch Simon slowly rise out of his seat, chair creaking from the shifting of his weight. You didn’t see Simon lurk in the back as the inmates met with their loved ones on the out. Didn’t see him take notice of a particular girls with nails painted the same shade as his gift to you. The same shade as the tip of his cock.
___
The girl was transferred. For a singular moment, you thought Simon had something to do with it. Then laughed at the idea. Simon may be in the military, but you highly doubted he had anything to do with the bitch who got transferred. At least you got your nail polish back. It was a strange shade, and the idea of a man as big as Simon standing in an isle trying to pick out a shade made you chuckle, it was the thought that counted.
Time marched on. Penpals came and went but Simon stayed the consistent part in your life.
Eventually, the possibility of parole was on the horizon.
Freedom.
So close you could practically taste it.
Unfortunately, that meant a laundry list of to-do items. Court hearings, lawyers bankrolled by Simon, arranging for transportation and housing. Simon handled most of it. By now, the lingering guilt of using your soldier fiance had long left you. He seemed like the kind of man who needed to learn lessons the hard way, and entering a relationship with a felon was a lesson most didn’t need to learn. Still, he had been putting in quite a hard amount of work. He deserved a treat.
And after years of forced celibacy, you needed it bad.
The two of you would enjoy each other for a week or two. Simon would realize he made a mistake moving you in. He would kick you out. You’d pawn the ring he’d give you and use the money as a cushion as you landed, getting back on your feet. The two of you would go your separate ways and never see each other again.
Being in prison taught you a lot of things. Despite everything, patience wasn’t one of those lessons. The day you were gaining your freedom passed was the slowest part of your life. The checking, double checking, retrieving your stuff, checking again, until finally,
Finally,
You were outside. You were outside in something other than a uniform that stunk of sweat, there were no handcuffs. Anxiety crept everywhere. You wanted to get as far away from the prison as you could, if you breathed wrong a warden would drag you back. A pair of arms snatched you.
You looked up and couldn’t help but laugh, pressing your lips against his scarred ones.
“Fucking Christ your tall.”
He chuckled against your lips before taking them again, hands digging near painfully into your ass. The two of you somehow managed to walk back to his car peeling off one another before Simon peeled away, hand clutching the fat of your thighs as he drove.
“Never pictured you as a reckless driver.” You giggled.
The adrenaline and giddiness of being free hadn’t worn off yet. If anything it seemed to slowly be morphing into a different beast entirely. You pressed your lips against his bicep causing him to groan. You glanced up at him, watching as his jaw clenched weaving in and out of traffic in a way that was certainly not legal. You would’ve been worried about being pulled over if he wasn’t driving a military vehicle. They answered to a different police, or so he told you.
Eventually, he pulled into the yard of a house with an honest-to-God white picket fence. You smiled as you got out, curiosity creeping in about what his house was like. Simon opened the door for you, which would probably should’ve made you swoon at his gentleman-like behavior, but truthfully it was how he hauled you out of the card and dragged you inside that got your heart racing.
Impatient.
The door barely closed before his body was pressed against yours and his lips were pressed against your jugular. One of his rough hands slipped up your shirt, grunting when he found a clear path to your tits instead of meeting the edge of a bra. The other dipped into the waistband of your pants, running over your clothed cunt, no doubt feeling the wet spot against your underwear. Your hands slid over his arms, squeezing at the muscle, before slowly sliding them up and up, going to the back of his neck, a hand threading through his short hair the other cupping his face to kiss yours.
A large thumb found your clit, only the thin cotton stopped him from rubbing directly against it. He pressed down hard on it, causing your breath to catch in your throat, his thumb moving down your slit. The seam of your mouth parted in a moan and he used that to stick his tongue down your throat.
The kiss was obscenely wet, beastly as his spit passed from his mouth into yours. Before prison, you would’ve pulled away with a grimace. Too much tongue, too much teeth, too much. But your whole body was on fire, years of pent-up orgasms made you desperate for it all. For someone to press against you, to be inside you.
Simon was oh-so-convenient.
You tried to pull away, lungs burning enough to convince you that air was in fact a need, but the door stopped you. Pressed between it and Simon you had no escape. You whimpered against his mouth, again and again until he finally got the hint and pulled away, a string of spit connecting your mouths as if it too was reluctant to pull away from you.
“Bedroom?” You panted, though if he took you here against the door you would die happy.
Simon threw you over his shoulder and took his stairs two at a time before tossing you on his bed making you laugh. The caveman and his prize. Simon took the moment of being away from you to pull at the collar of his shirt. You watched in appreciation as it lifted higher and higher until it was discarded on his carpet.
His body was marred in scar tissue, muscle, and a layer of fat that made for a solid fine specimen of the male species. His pants were discarded next, and either he pulled his underwear down with them or he just wasn’t wearing any to begin with. You didn’t have much time to ponder that thought distracted by his hard cock.
Jesus Christ.
Big was an understatement, monster was the word that popped into your mind. It crossed the territory between delicious into scary. Large and thicker than you thought possible. You swallowed and for a second hoped he would forget about the blowjob you promised him after he gave you a pillow.
“Yer’ wearin’ too many clothes Birdie.”
Quickly, though not as quickly as Simon was, you wiggled out of your pants, shrugged off your shirt throwing it in the same pile as his clothes. He stepped closer to you, one large hand grabbing your ankle before retching you towards him.
He leaned down, mouthing at your bare tits, slobbering over them. The soft press of his tongue flicked over your nipple before he moved to the other and grazed his teeth over it. His hands were everywhere. He was everywhere. Impossibly big and pressed against you everywhere. Until all your senses were filled with him. As if Simon was the only thing that mattered in the world.
The artificial sun in your glass cage.
His mouth moved lower, nipping at your skin before he moved between your legs. He settled his body in between them, the calloused palm of his hands pressing your legs further and further apart until the stretch burned in the muscles where your legs met your pelvis. Quickly the pain faded into the background as he pressed a kiss against your bare clit, before taking it in his mouth and sucking. You felt the rough pad of his fingertips press against your hole rubbing against it but never quite dipping inside. Again and again, he moved it against you but never in you.
It was maddening.
You tilted your pelvis against his mouth, trying to coax his fingers into your welcoming body. He growled against your clit, removing his mouth causing you to whine. A sharp sting met your ass cheek and you yelped.
He spanked you.
“Behave.”
You never took the man to be hungry for anything other than missionary, but it seemed he had learned a few tricks over the years. He did have a few on you, you were sure of it. Your thoughts leaked out of your ears as he moved back up, slotting his hips in between your legs. Liquid lust ran through your veins at the sight of him rubbing his dick against your mound, a mess of your slick and his pre dragging along your pussy and up to your belly button. Your poor hole clenching around nothing at the image of how deep he was about to be in you.
You took a deep breath, mesmerized as he pressed the tip against your entrance, catching it before pressing himself inside. He went slowly, and you couldn’t help the moan that left you as he finally began to sink home. Throwing your head back you closed your eyes as he stretched your body out.
You weren’t a virgin before you were locked away, but years of celibacy made you feel born again. Hell, with the size Simon was even if you had fucked him before he would’ve made you feel virginal with the way he was splitting you open.
When you opened them again you caught his gaze, he stared at you watching your expression pinch as he gave small thrusts, working the last of him inside you. When his balls pressed against your ass you let out a shaky breath. You had passed your limit two inches ago but somehow Simon had managed to coax your sweet pussy to take the last of him inside. The pain of him had taken you away from the edge of an orgasm he was working you towards, but when his hand found your clit again you knew you weren’t going to last long.
If his shaky breaths were anything to go by Simon wasn’t going to last long either.
He kissed you again, this time it was softer. Sweeter. Made your stomach turn in a moment of guilt. It was replaced when he drew out of you, slowly letting you feel inch after inch leave your body, before slamming back in.
He moved again against you. And again. Building up a punishing rhythm. You couldn’t help the small ah ah ah’s that left your lips as he rutted in you. Your hips pushed against his, working with him as you both chased your highs.
His hand never left your clit, as if glued to it working in tight fast circles. His other hand traveled along your body as if he couldn’t get enough of you. Squeezing at your tits so hard you thought it might bruise, running up your bare skin, constantly moving and feeling. As if he couldn’t believe that you were real. That you were out of your cage and underneath him panting his name in his ear instead of against the end of a phone.
Your own hands wandered. Moving over his arms, God’s gift to you, his chest. But mostly they moved down his back, feeling his muscles move and contract under your hands. Before you left you would convince him to put a mirror over his bed, so you could watch his shoulders shift and move as he thrust inside you.
It was too much. The feel of Simon, the stimulation on your clit, the thick cock pistoning like a machine inside you, pressure built and built inside you. Your nails dug into his back, dragging down as he pushed you off that ledge.
Simon’s thrusts stuttered as he felt your walls fluttering around him, suckling at his cock, coaxing him. He came with a groan soon after you, painting your walls with thick globs of his cum.
You panted as he rested against you, letting his cock soften inside you as you ran your nails over the nape of his neck and caressed his short hair. It was oddly soft, comforting to run your hands over.
Simon began to untangle himself from you, slowly as if reluctant to part from your embrace. He moved to what you now realize was the on-suite connected to his bedroom. You could feel his cum start to drip out of your cunt and down your asshole, shifting at the uncomfortable feeling. You couldn’t find the energy yet to move, not even sure if your legs could support you right now. Simon came back to you, wash-cloth in hand, and began wiping up the mess he made.
“We’ll have to get a Plan B tomorrow.” You murmured as he crawled back into bed next to you.
Simon didn’t say anything, but he had always been a quiet man. He maneuvered the both of you until you rested under the covers, your hand running along his bare chest. Tracing his happy trail before moving back up, not ready to go again.
The adrenaline from before had worn off, leaving you suddenly exhausted. Sated and free you dozed off against him.
When you woke up again it was darker outside. Not yet the full black of night but rather the soft blue that came after the sun had only just dipped out of sight. Simon wasn’t in bed next to you. You rolled over with a sigh, sitting up and smoothing your hair. Thirsty you threw the covers off your body and padded across out of his room entering into a small hallway. There was a door directly across his room and with a shrug, you went into it.
It wasn’t snooping if you lived here now too. Even if you were only going to stay for a little bit.
The handle turned easily but the room was darker than you expected, no windows to let in any natural light. Your hands patted at the wall until you found the edge of a light switch, with a click the room was bathed in a soft glow.
Your breath hitched.
The room was bare except for a small desk and chair, the walls were covered in photos. Photos of you. Old photos, from before your prison stint. Mugshots. But what made your skin crawl were photos of you in your cell. You sprawled out on your uncomfortable cot. You sitting cross-legged across from your cellmate. Images of you in the cafeteria. Images of you in the yard.
You took a step back, then another, and another.
You flicked the light back off and slowly closed the door. You took a shuddering breath and yelped when you felt a chest pressed against yours.
Simon’s hands dug into your hips, pulling you tight against him.
“You look like you’ve seen a Ghost, Birdie.”
Poor little bird, trading one cage for another.

“What if you taught me some Spanish?”
“Sorry, what did you just say?”
“That's it, Y/N. Teach me some Spanish.”
You, completely absorbed in looking at the pictures you had taken during the date you had with your boyfriend that same day, lifted your gaze from your phone and raised an eyebrow, fully taken aback by Oscar's proposal.
“Spanish? You? You already speak English! English is the only language that matters to you all…”
Oscar shrugged, nervously playing with the steering wheel. At that moment, he reconsidered what he had said, unsure now, and realized that maybe it had been a somewhat strange proposal on his part.
“I just want to understand you when you talk to your dad or your family. I know no one knows we’re together yet, but sometimes when you do video calls with them, I feel a bit lost. I also feel like sometimes you talk about me, and I’d like to know if I should worry,” he confessed, glancing at you from the corner of his eye.
“And why do you assume we talk about you, huh?”
“Well, because you always look at me out of the corner of your eye when you do.”
You couldn’t help but smile at how cute he looked with that unnecessary concern.
“Why do you have to be so chismoso?” You said, making Oscar give you a little tap on the shoulder. That just made you laugh more. “Alright, alright, fine! But I warn you in advance: if you laugh at me speaking Spanish or don’t take me seriously, I’ll break up with you.”
What started as a completely random proposal, with little prospect of a future or sense at first, eventually became one of your favorite routines. You took advantage of every moment together to practice, always hiding it from Checo or any member of the Pérez family when you were in the paddock. Moreover, whenever you were in your respective countries, you would watch Mexican movies and TV shows, and also some in their original version with English subtitles. You even started sending each other the occasional message in Spanish, thanks to the Australian’s initiative.
Oscar seemed to have, in your eyes, a natural talent for languages. Not only did he manage to learn greetings and basic words in less than a week, but after a month, he was already making the effort to use your Mexican accent and even incorporating words that seemed exclusive to your family’s vocabulary.
And that was exactly what, a few months later, turned into a real nightmare for the secrecy with which you kept your relationship.
While no one knew you were together as a couple, Oscar and you pretended to be just friends when you were in public. That’s why it was completely normal for Checo Pérez to see his daughter with the Australian, having coffee and chatting animatedly after a press conference.
“¡Buenos días, Checo!” Oscar said in almost perfect Spanish. “¿Cómo va, papá?”
You, hearing that last word, spat out the little coffee you had left in your mouth and opened your eyes, completely surprised. Checo, however, made a face and a frown, questioning his daughter’s friend.
“What did you say?” You asked, though you knew perfectly well that what your boyfriend had just said was something you hadn’t taught him, and he’d probably heard it from you.
“Well… ¿Cómo va, papá?” the guy repeated innocently. “Did I say it right?”
“Papá?” repeated the Red Bull driver, even more shocked. “Do you even know what that means, kid?”
“It’s an expression, right? Isn’t it like saying buddy?”
Checo stared at him for a few seconds that felt like an eternity to Oscar. Then, he turned his gaze to you, who was pretending to fiddle with your phone to avoid having to face an awkward conversation about why your secret boyfriend had just said that.
“¿Te importaría decirme por qué Oscar habla como tú?” Pérez asked quickly in Spanish, clearly aiming for Oscar not to understand.
“He doesn’t talk like me!” You quickly replied in English. “Oscar has been practicing Spanish, and well… he wants to fit in better so he’s trying. Duolingo isn’t the best app for learning, so he’s been watching YouTube videos... Right, Osc?”
The guy nodded, but that didn’t convince Checo. Still, he didn’t say anything else and, instead, coldly said goodbye to you both.
As soon as he was far enough away not to hear you, you turned to Oscar and started shaking him:
“Of all the things you could say, you call him papá?!”
“I didn’t do it on purpose, babe!” He rushed to reply, feeling bad for you. “I’ve heard it so many times that, well… I just said it without thinking. I honestly didn’t think it was anything bad.”
You huffed, knowing that it wasn’t Oscar’s fault or his curiosity and interest in learning your mother tongue, but yours for not setting boundaries or explaining the meaning of each word, as well as the context in which it should be used or who it was addressed to.
From that moment on, your father started paying more attention. He was an expert in discretion, but you knew him well enough to realize that, since the incident with Oscar, he had become much more alert and interested in you both, especially looking for clear signs that would confirm his suspicions that his daughter was dating one of the newest additions to the grid.
Unfortunately for you and Oscar, the Mexican didn’t need to investigate much, and he only did so for a month to confirm his theories.
During one of the briefings with all the drivers, Checo heard Oscar mumbling an “Órale, wey” followed by some insults in Spanish that you had made up when it had gotten pretty late and everyone was eager to return to their hotel. Also, instead of saying “sorry,” he let out a “¿mande?” which wouldn’t have been strange if he hadn’t continued speaking in English, as if nothing had happened.
You and Oscar seemed unaware of all your slip-ups; on the contrary, feeling like you weren’t arousing anyone’s suspicion, you lowered your guard. Displays of affection in public, though still cautious, became more frequent, especially when Checo wasn’t near you. Or at least, that’s what you thought.
The back of the McLaren garage, just a few meters away from Red Bull’s, as expected, wasn’t the most suitable place.
“We should go somewhere else,” you said softly while nervously fiddling with the collar of your boyfriend's shirt, who had his arm around your waist.
“Why? This place is perfect,” Oscar replied, unconcerned.
“Yeah, sure, perfect for my dad to catch us,” you muttered. “If he already suspects and looks like that doll from the red light, green light game on Squid Game, analyzing us so much to jump on us as soon as he catches us… imagine if he finds us. He’ll kill us, I swear.”
“Come on, Y/N, just try to relax. We’ve got it all under control. Seriously, there’s nothing to worry about, mi amor.”
You blushed at the compliment he had given you in Spanish, and couldn’t help but plant a chaste kiss on his lips, even though everything inside you felt chaotic.
“If you’re trying to convince me that everything’s fine by speaking to me in Spanish, just know that you’re doing it perfectly,” you declared. “But don’t forget, that doesn’t mean I don’t feel a tremendous anxiety and keep thinking that we’re literally one step away from getting caught. Do you know what he could do if he finds out that you and I… that?” You asked hesitantly.
“Is he going to give us a lecture on how we have to stay professional whenever we’re in public? Or is he going to tell me he’ll kill me if I even think about getting you pregnant?”
“He’ll probably make you come home to have lunch with my family and only speak Spanish,” you tried not to laugh but couldn’t help yourself. “And trust me, you don’t want to be in that position because you’ll have all my aunts, and there are quite a few of them, right next to you, asking you some very uncomfortable questions.”
“Then we’ll have to tell him as soon as possible so he can prepare. How about I tell him that I’m absolutely and completely in love with his daughter?”
You shot him a glare, panic flooding your insides at the thought of that happening.
“No, don’t you dare do that, Osc, and especially not here. You have no idea how my dad would react if…”
“Why not?” He interrupted. Then, he stopped, and after a few seconds that felt like an eternity to you, he seemed to finally find the courage to speak: “I could tell him something like… ¡Señor Pérez, estoy saliendo con su hija porque además de ser la mejor mujer de este mundo, me hace la persona más feliz del mundo!”
You couldn’t help but laugh, filled with emotion inside at Oscar’s sweet yet innocent declaration of love aloud.
However, a cough behind you made you snap back to reality.
“Can I know what you’re doing with my daughter, Piastri?”
You both slowly turned around. There, standing before you, was Checo, arms crossed, with a very unfriendly look on his face. You swore that if Oscar walked out of there alive and without a reprimand from your overprotective father, he could do whatever he wanted for the rest of the year.
“Well…” Oscar began, his confidence suddenly disappearing.
“Esto no es lo que parece, te lo juro,” you said in Spanish, trying to calm your father, even though you knew your attempts would be in vain.
“Oh, really?” Checo asked, raising an eyebrow, knowing you were both lying. “Then, what explanation do you have for this kid shouting to the four winds in almost perfect Spanish that he’s in love with you? At least that’s what I understood, if my Spanish doesn’t fail me.”
You were about to reply, but instead, Oscar gently took you by the wrist and stepped forward, surprisingly confident.
“Checo, I’m not playing around. Okay, I was joking about that, but not about what it means… like…” Piastri explained slowly, nerves eating at him as he couldn’t bring himself to look Checo in the face. “Your daughter matters to me, well, like… you know, like a boyfriend cares for his girlfriend.”
Checo tried not to laugh at the declaration of love from the man who had just confirmed he was his son-in-law and did his best to maintain the protective fatherly composure, thinking no guy would ever be good enough for his daughter.
“So you care about my daughter… You, one of my coworkers, a twenty-three-year-old kid, care about my eldest daughter enough to believe you can have a relationship with her…”
“It’s not that I believe it, it’s that I know I do.”
Not only you and Checo were surprised by the boy’s words, but Oscar himself too. He regretted it immediately, but before he could apologize to Checo, the man stepped forward, raising a hand and staring at him:
“So… are you two dating or not?”
“Yes, for almost six months now,” you answered, feeling a knot in your stomach, but much less pressure now that your father knew the truth.
Checo sighed, running a hand over his face as he tried to process the news his daughter, his little girl, had just told him. The girl he knew ever since she was born and now he had to imagine her spending, if not the rest of her life, at least part of it, with another man.
“And why didn’t you tell me before?” Checo asked, his voice tinged with disappointment but also some understanding. “Don’t you trust me?”
“It’s not that I don’t trust you, it’s that I knew you would react badly,” you answered, frustrated. “I trust you, and I know you want to protect me from any guy who could make me feel bad, but you have to understand that I’m twenty years old, and whether you like it or not, I’m not a little girl anymore.”
Checo looked at you and then turned his gaze to Oscar, who had his head down. Besides his nerves being pretty evident, so was his willingness to face any kind of dispute or reprimand from him just to stay with you.
That made Checo feel a bit bad, though it also gave him some relief seeing that the Australian was truly concerned and, why not say it, in love, willing to do anything for his little Y/N.
Finally, he let out a small sigh, trying to calm himself. He repeated your words over and over in his mind before saying anything else because if you had never disappointed him in your life, then he didn’t want to disappoint you just because you were in love.
I’m not a little girl anymore.
“Checo…” Piastri spoke, but Checo raised a finger, silencing him instantly.
“I’m only going to say this once: you better not hurt my daughter, or I’ll hurt you when I kick you off the track or crash into you accidentally. Is that clear?”
Oscar swallowed hard, feeling that Checo wasn’t joking.
“Understood…”
“And as for you,” Checo now spoke to you, completely stunned, “don’t think this is over. Your mother, you, and I will have a conversation about this and several other topics when we get home.”
Unprotected wild sex, alcohol, and drugs, for sure, you thought, forcing a smile to try to hide your worry.
“Now go on and keep loving each other, but be careful where and how you do it. I don’t want to be a grandfather just yet.”
With those words, Checo left, leaving you both.
“Well… now he knows. Finally,” Oscar said, letting out a sigh of relief.
I told you he was intense. Do you believe me now?”
“Of course, mi amor,” the Australian replied, taking your hand and heading to your room in the McLaren motorhome, so, as Checo had said, you wouldn’t become grandparents just yet. “Your dad scared me, but I’m not going to lie to you, he gave me enough motivation to beat him in every race from now on.”
