I woke up feeling like I was crying to sleep when I wasn't??? And my dream was about Mei from Turning Red riding a snow sleigh. Um There's nothing sad about that??? Lol

Anyway, the warm up sketches. The colors were added in Medibang. It was pretty fun, might do that technique some other time. My body still refused to recover from being bummed out throughout the day so I did house chores instead of commissions. 😅 Will try again tomorrow.

#The heat man. No wonder I was dreaming about snow. Lol. But I bet I'll just die the moment I'm put in that much cold environment. Haha #There is already a way I draw Connie's side view angle in the regular style. Also so so so so tired. I almost fell asleep in the middle of the floor like 3 times today lol #Trying to finish some costume photos and also another poll adventure thing. plus I do really want to do a sculpture sometime #I haven't finished one in a while. Hopefully my tiredness is nothing bad.#Maybe I'm anemic again so that's making me tired. Or maybe it's just a Listless phase. not that I'm ever really THAT productive considering #all of the health problems and etc. always holding me back. but still. I'm not usually 'sleep or just stare at a wall literally all day' ty #e unproductive.. at least not for multiple days in a row so. hmm... Sometimes especially in the summer though I will have periods of time #that are listless like that. I am under low level phyiscal stress for months at a time due to summer heat so I guess it makes sense #that would eventually take a toll. I just have SO MANY THINGS I WANT TO DO!!!!! AAUUGhhh #I also came up with a new idea for a game that is so so cool and I wish I could make it but I have to finish the other one first lol #which I will NEVER do. if I spend all day just sleepy unfocused barely able to do anything #I also really need to sell some clothes and sculptures because I'll probably have to buy a new computer soon so I need money. (plus still #recovering the costs of having to euthanize my other cat.. wehh) There's nothing clearly wrong with it right now but it's getting gradually #slower and there's more weird glitches happening randomly and idk.. just weird things that make me think 'hmm... bad.. possibly.'#ANYWAY... I just have so much to do that I both REALLY want or need to do - so it's perpetually frustrating that I just can't for whatever #reason like. Time is always mving forward. every day I waste is a wasted day. The year is already almost half over. I havent finished #any of the projects I wanted to .. and there's only more and more things to do each day. It's overwhelming and stinky #and thats not even considering having to do all of my tasks also with the background noise of economic inequality. everything increasingly #going into an even scarier political direction. active climate change crisis. pandemic that still exists and is insane to act otherwise. et #etc. HOW am I supposed to solo make two whole games . write 3 book series. finish sculptures. do costumes. make outfits. game videos. make #stable network of social connections. do my little side crafts. take care of myself and cats. pay rent. manage health issues. keep a routin #.try to make some sort of money. go to doctors appointments. handle regular maintenance like cleaning and cooking and self care #and buying new plates when old ones break or etc. make sure to do other things like backup my computer data regularly. do shopping lists.#take care of plants. pursue like 6 different academic interests. do the other side side projects I have for fun (like music or carving avoc #ado pits). eat in a healthy way thats okay for my Special Health Issue diet. exercise so i don't die early. etc. etc. etc. AND all while it #82F in my apartment all the time and I have tiny income and also need to move to another country/climate somehow??? lol......#ANYWAY.. ..very frustrated today over my chronic Tired Sleepy.. time for Cat Photos - which cure all of life's ailments lol

A few little sketches of some possible school uniforms for mage schools/learning centers for magic/etc. :0c Though because Nanyevimi is so scattered and disconnected, it'd actually vary much more by region (like not everywhere would have a cultural concept of what a suit jacket or neck tie looks like lol), so it's probably unrealistic for so many of them to follow too many traditional Uniform Conventions from cultures in our world, etc. But, still, fun to mess around with designs, and think about which would be most fun to wear/what school you'd go to just based off the clothing lol~

#I haven't felt well enough to do anything actually productive lately GRRRR.. evil health issues....#but I can sometimes at least draw while I lay on the floor with a heating pad and etc. lol.. so...#goofy little sketches. Still dislike that the ipad thing someone gave me is either like.. maybe the settings are just off OR possibly the #screen is slightly broken in some regard - so the pressure sensitivity does not work at all. thus all lines are blunt looking #instead of having tapered edges. which I KNOW can be a stylistic thing. like I think it's fine mostly #but sometimes shading looks weird for all of the lines to be the exact same size/width with like no variation lol #though since it's just little sketches it doesnt matter lol but still... hrmm... ever working out my strategy for how to use the ipad for a #art things/if I can ever get used to it/etc.#AAANYWAY... still so uniform obsessed.. and have been since I was a child. Like way before going to middle school and meeting #the people who like anime and get into school uniforms of that variety. I mean like... age 7 before even having any friends #and having zero popular media interests or outside influences that would make uniforms Trendy. but I would see like a 'private school #uniform' on a new story on tv or something or in a book and was just like OUGH... I Should Dress That Way #I used to go to thrift stores and find multiple seperate pieces that could be combined together to look like a school uniform #I had like 4 or 5 different 'uniforms' that I made myself in that way. My first outfit that I was ever allowed #to pick out for myself as my big First Day Of Middle School outfit was literally like school uniform inspired #(maybe mixed with a little goth.. like it was a school uniform sort of look but black and white with fishnet armwarmers lol.. plaid +#stripes pattern mixing my beloved... )#I think it's just the same way that I love apartment buildings because I'm infinitely fascinated with like.. observing human nature and peo #le displaying their psersonalities in little ways and how you can give 10 people the same exact identical space but each one will decorate #it completely differently just depending on their own tastes and reasonnig and etc. I love the idea of everyone in some setting #having to be in one specific set outfit BUT you can tell something about them by the little ways they customize it or what type #of accessories they wear or if they choose to button their shirt fully or not or etc. etc. I like the constraints of 'okay everyone has to #be in exactly the same uniform - NOW. give them their own unique style somehow despite this' etc. etc. like #yaaaayyyy.. I love thinking of little obscure details that convey personality. they have a little pin hidden on the inside of their #hat. their shoes are just like everyone else's but more worn out. they have a necklace barely visible beneath their collar. their tie is #always a little more askew that everyone elses. or even. the uniform is EXACTLY on model entirely clean crisp pristine not a single element #customized or out of place - which STILL tells you something about them. etc. etc.#ANYWAY.. yeahg.. struggling to get anything done these last few weeks so.. blam. poof. alakazaam. scratchy little sketches #of nothing very productive or relating to any other project in particular be upon ye

i hate summer so much yall

it's already 80 during the day here and my ac doesnt work. Everyone telling me they love the summer is wrong and crazy. come back and tell me you love the summer when your bedroom is 80 degrees at 4am.

I usually sleep prety well these days but tonight i can't seem to stay asleep, even with my fan on and pointed right at me. The ac is on too, set at 65 but the themomerter in my room says otherwise. we've been texting the landord Repeatedly. The Ac repair man never calls

#this post has no Real meaning #other than me bitching into the void bc i got 4 hours of sleep and probably wont' be able to go back to sleep #bc i fucking hate the heat and it makes me grouchy and overstimulated #i am texting the landlord again at a more reasonable hour #but for real #if i hhear one more person say how excited they are for the warmer days i'm gonna lose it #i bet they have nice cold bedrooms and work in an air conditioned office #then again #the girls who work style at my job wear hoodies in the summer and complain of being cold #while im in a tshirt and shorts and Sweating #so maybe i just don't handle heat very well #either way #i needed to bitch and no one i know is awake lol #d rambles

#i'm so full of blueberries and raspberries #i went out at 9am just to eat something and go for a walk #went back at noon bc the heat was unbearable #it's 31°C and i am not used to it #i still hate the heat but it's nice to live in a bigger city in summer #where you have many parks to choose for your saturday morning walk #and you can get iced matcha latte :') you can't get it anywhere in the town i moved from #now i'm back in my room and ready to binge be my favorite #i haven't watched any thai bls in like 2 years except for not me (beloved) and kp which i haven't even finished (yet...)#but i'm sooo curious abt this one #and later maybe i'll go for another walk... after the sunset lol i am not made for summer but it's fine it can be a one-sided crush #k.txt

i think i have given up on the yard now

there are things planted and we'll see what we'll see, but from everything i've read stuff will either die in the 110F heat or later on in a winter freeze so further $ invested may be a waste

and the only solution is to keep everything as potted-and-mobile or indoor plants

there's already been issues with ants and gnats so the impetus to leave them outside and then bring them in later is now very low

so maybe i will just have a lot of indoor plants - at least i can take them with me when i go

the one pothos is at least VERY enthusiastic and all the greenery is *so* fucking mentally soothing

... i just really want to buy so many more plants and i *have* to stop

#maybe if i liked succulents more or cared about flowers #but what i like is green and leafy and e idently none of that is really happy around here #like i have 'almost total shade' and 'lots of sun' options but nothing that will take those PLUS the stupid heat even with watering #gonna plant the the asiatic jasmine anyway just to see but then i guess just try to keep up with watering #i have two sansevieria a boston fern several pothos two peace lilies (one 3 ft) salvia sage oregano #a very sad dieffenbachia and tiny croton and some rosemary that i think gave up the ghost while the mint *may* be hanging on #got some indoor elephant ears from a kit just starting we'll see what happens and a red anne #the hostas and caladiums will come up or not idk #i just wish i knew something that would grow like these weeds lol thank goodness for the horseherb #i realized that sll i want is the same plants we had growing up but we were in sub-sealevel galveston - basically tropical #so all that won't necessarily like it here - people say hostas don't like austin :/#but we had what i'm pretty sure was the asiatic jasmine out at the front of the house and the elephantears and caladium #around the side with the ivy and the dracaena and the azaleas #everything i see that i like in the nursery ends up being labeled 'indoor plant' here #tempted to try to find some pink mulhy even though it's not 'leafy' just bc it grows here and might live #the palmetto does keep coming back after the freezes so that's something #obviously if i wanted to spend a lot my problems would be easily solved but it's not my house so i'm not buying like .. full shrubs

There are so many lectures and panels I want to attend in the next few weeks, but god am I just completely sapped of energy. I’m falling asleep on my feet.

#got probably dozens of fluid ounces of caffeine in my body and still...#thinking about napping before class lol. at least i'm not feeling too stressed yet. but i think that's because i'm sort of dazed.#my oldest friend had a medical emergency and i've been taking care of her. had to come home eventually though #and i didn't want to leave her... but i'll see her again soon #this year has just been relentless on everyone i know so far. seems like every single week something monumental happens.#i'm genuinely surprised i'm not super stressed. just tired. wanting to cook again for my friend though. i like doing that.#maybe i'll bake her some kind of casserole. something she can heat up again or just eat cold.
