Damn, that's nice. Great idea, awesome execution, would write a story. Although can seem a bit overwhelming for beginners. Also seems a bit like exclusive choice: short or long, heaven or hell. And I will ask here: why not both? Moreover, shorties are awesome way to get into the storytelling bizzyniz; it's obvious, that one must start, and probably be not very good at something, before getting into "the groove", and for that, and making mistakes, checking out what "clicks", art-wise and/or story-wise, getting mad skills, and feedback, the shorties kinda make sense. Also, there are a few long running comics I know, and surely many more I don't, which used to have this distinctive progress both in art and narration, you barely notice in per episode progression, and kinda smashes your face in when you decide to re-read whole thing from the beginning. it seems that many authors find it somehow squicky to look back on their art of them olde days (understandable, it sucks to suck, whether it is part of the process or not), but for me it has it's awesome aspect of seeing them grow, and their art change for better. Anyhow, thanks @thechekhov for the idea how to unmake my hipothetical story conspect to be those boring and uninspiring wall of text, that I may, or may not, commited (like in → crime) a few before ;]

I've had this little idea in my head for a while now, so I decided to sit down and plot it out.

Disclaimer: This isn't meant to be some sort of One-Worksheet-Fits-All situation. This is meant to be a visual representation of some type of story planning you could be doing in order to develop a plot!

Lay down groundwork! (Backstory integral to the beginning of your story.) Build hinges. (Events that hinge on other events and fall down like dominoes) Suspend structures. (Withhold just enough information to make the reader curious, and keep them guessing.)

And hey, is this helps... maybe sit down and write a story! :)
