Tessa fucks me up dude can I just talk about her for a sec? Yeah? Yeah.

She loved those drones. She loved them because they were what she had. She felt sympathy for them when nobody else did. And I like to think there was a little bit of loneliness motivating her as well.

Her mother hated her. She was nothing to her. When her mother scolded her by saying "seems you still can't follow simple orders" her respone was "No, no no! Please!" BEGGING. Begging her mother to believe in her and be kind to her. She got chained up in her room (multiple times btw. At leas tthats implied. the hand she winced at and rubbed is the same hand the chain was on, which means shed be chained up long enough for it to rub her skin painfully. long enough to leave lasting pain.)

She is very connected to these drones, to the point where she kept all the error drones aroud because she LOVED them. She spent time digging them up. HELL SHE TOOK A FAMILY PHOTO WITH THEM DUDE...

Even when Cyn was creepy and scary, she kept her around. She'd rather lock Cyn up than get rid of her. and when n points it out, shes apologetic and hesitant. But we know WHY she did that. Even if it was kind of a sucky move, it was because she didnt wanna have to throw cyn out. and in the end that killed her.

Also she knows J well enough to know what sets her off (enough to. bite the shit out of a chain). She knows them. and she loves them.

I wish we'd gotten to know more about her an N. why is he so clearly her favorite? but thats not relevant ig

also her saying "I've only ever yakked to robots, J!" She has NO human friends. she has nobody to support her other than these robots. these robots who get treated like garbage by her family.

and then she has to watch these robots turn on her. Not just THESE ROBOTS but the three that she loved most. (also im going off what wouldve happened in ep 5 WITHOUT uzi, where n doesnt get out of the swamp, and nobody goes down to the basement)

V first, then Cyn, then J. And we KNOW she loved these three+N especially bc she took a family photo w them, interacted with them more often, and generally just seemed much closer with them.

and what does she get for it? killed. And also its implied by this screenshot that she wasnt ACTUALLY killed by cyn right then

(the scientists, the sword beside her, the footprints, the way shes sitting against the wall, the expression she has. she totally just saw all that shit)

and she cant have been skyn bc the scientists wouldve known. the skinsuit wasnt exactly. hm. pretty.

which means she DID see her whole family+more slaughtered in front of her while she was powerless to stop it. She DID see J violently kill everyone around her. She DID see Cyn kill everyone. And she just has to. Deal with that. And despite all her efforts, the solver took over and cyn killed her. (im assuming tessa died somewhere around when n's mineshaft flashback was like i mentioned b4)

and all the while she was convinced shed lose N, id assume. based on the state of the other drone out there.

And honestly, i think what she got was worse.

The way he looked at her, and the way he was suspicious of her. He knew HIS Tessa would never treat a drone like this. Cyn has been known to have relatively shitty recreations of people at times (like Thad in episode two) But even so there was no way he could believe it was someone else (like. who would it be? he saw her blood he heard her voice like...) which is why he was so stressed after killing her (when he leaned on his sword and was breathing heavy, yk?)

he loved her and she loved him and now shes dead. just like everyone else he loved.

this isnt about n but like. idk if tessa could see him now i think shed cry. she loved him and all of them

in my mind dean was always supposed to get older and become the new bobby. like ok you're a hunter, maybe a little new to the scene and still figuring things out. and you're tracking down a werewolf, easy case. except some things don't line up quite right and now you're thinking it might not actually be a werewolf. so you ask around a hunter's bar and they all say the same thing. go to this one bunker in the middle of nowhere in kansas

and you're like sure what the hell. you're stumped anyway, might as well check it out. maybe it's a weapons storehouse or something. but then you get there and there's a doorbell and a bee-shaped welcome mat out front and you're starting to think you've got the wrong place. the door swings open and there's this middle aged guy with a robe and batman pyjama bottoms. and he laughs at the look on your face and tells you to come in, he doesn't bite. not since he got that vampire cure, anyway. you're not sure what to make of that last part but he winks at you when he says it so you figure he's joking. maybe.

he gives great advice about hunting everything under the sun and if you stick around long enough he'll go on and on about how he saved the world at least five times. ok sure. you don't want to be rude so you just sit there and sip your coffee politely while he talks about some guy called chuck and how much of a bitch he is. and another guy who's aged a little more gracefully comes padding down the hallway in a metallica t-shirt and rolls his eyes. has he told you about tvland yet? ('i was just getting to that part!')

if you go to the basement you'll find shotguns filled with salt, wooden stakes, holy water, and demon-killing bullets for sale. and if you're lucky the witch who sells hex bags might be around. low-grade curses only, of course. you better leave the powerful stuff to the professionals. and she'll get in trouble if she gives you anything stronger, not that she can't be persuaded. a girl's gotta make a living after all and she's always encouraged eager new witches. it's worked out pretty well for her so far. and then a guy you swear is twice your height will raise an eyebrow at her and insist she only sell the weaker hex bags, please. you don't need any more witches in your coven, rowena. you've got plenty

pagan god giving you trouble? there's a man who swings by every once in a while who knows how to deal with those. give him some candy or a fun magic relic and he might help you out. it depends. he's a little picky about dishing out advice and he likes to play favorites. and if you've got a demon problem they can give you the number of a guy who swears up and down that he used to be the king of hell. but you've seen him walking around with a purse-sized terrier tucked under his arm and a dozen more following him so you're not really sure if you believe him

idk i like to think that dean got to grow old and retire. that doesn't mean he stops helping people, it just means he hangs up his coat and becomes an old man who rambles on and on about 'back in my day' and makes a dent in his leather armchair. there's a foosball table where the dungeon used to be and sam complains about beer bottles being everywhere and it becomes a safe haven for anyone still fighting the good fight. it's just that for dean and the rest of team free will the fight is over. they're done hunting now

I didn't give myself much time to draw it bc I got stuff to do (pipipi) but it's colorful and that's all that matters to me ajskd

It's based over that moment in the Good Place where Michael's like 'what am i supposed to say-?' and then says all he has done wrong, and Chidi's like, yeah, exactly that. And so, Michael apologies for real and he confesses he's scared and waa (I think, i haven't rewatched the show in a while pipipi)

Anyways, maybe Ballister's getting the apology he wanted but he hates Ambrosius so much and has so much resentment that his apology just makes him angrier- in a Yeah, you should hate yourself, I'm glad you do way, but he still feels like weird bc the guy's apologizing, and he has fondness for Ambrosius despite everything, so he's like 🧍

I like the idea of Prismo, and Scarab being latched onto each other, and rarely letting go when they get more comfortable

But what if when they have space apart like in this case they are in the same room

They are focusing on their own projects, or whatever they are doing and Prismo stops what he is doing randomly to give Scarab some quick affection

Cause I do this. I’ll be somewhat focused on something but I’ll stop for less than a minute to give my cat affection randomly, and poke her

So what if he did this. Like he kinda feels like procrastinating something, but needs to push through. So he gets randomly getting up, and walking to Scarab to like give a little kiss on the forehead, or cheek. Maybe a quick hug, and poke him a little

I just like to poke my cat sometimes. I boop her nose, poke her cheeks, poke her forehead. Earlier I poked her from her back to her head. She doesn’t get mad at me for this btw. She is very calm, loving, and lets me do a lot. I give her lots of pets

I just think it would be funny I guess if Prismo just randomly pokes Scarab a few times for no reason

I've always wondered this entire time.... I watched my gf play dao (see pinned post). And I've always wondered....

Morrigan is antisocial. She sleeps away from everyone else in camp.

Shale too. She's off a bit. Near Bodahn and Sandal.

Zevran Oghren leliana Wynne and Alistair are far more social and are all grouped near the fire. It just makes sense.

So why? Tell me why Sten is so close?? It would make sense for him to be distant too. Even if for no other reason than not wanting to talk and a barasaad compulsion to check camp fortification.

I've ALWAYS wondered why he chose to stand so close to that little social circle.

But seeing him here in the warden's room in Denerim......

Yall I'm swooning so hard. I'm grasping at straws with unmitigated joy.

"It is not every warden that can say she has her own Barasaad."

"What is your wish, kadan?"

Yall I find this big grumpy man choosing.... of his own volition, to lump grump in the warden's room in Denerim (side note but Morrigan is there too and don't think for a second that another distant person in camp choosing to lounge so near to the warden isn't every bit just as meaningful to me.....)

You go to speak to him and the first thing he does is complain about Denerim's fortification.

"But they will do." Said by this giant grump that's choosing to spend his time essentially watching over where the warden sleeps as he has since he became a companion.

After my gfs Dalish warden's first dream of the archdemon she woke up near the campfire. That was my first taste of camp. And there he was. Not off being distant as I'd expect him to be. And not right next to her like Alistair. But still only a short distance away.....

And you know he heard her tossing and crying out every night with those dreams.

As pissy as he is..... the warden took him out of his prison in Lothering. She found his Asala. He called himself "her own Barasaad." He called her kadan. In my playthru he did not fight her in Haven. Merely said his piece and moved on. He's the most vulnerable in fights and still my warden drags him everywhere and painstakingly shoves the majority of healing potions down his reluctant gullet (he really does sometimes curse when you select a poultice for him ynhnhh).

And now he's here. In my warden's room. Worried about fortifications and choosing to spend his time watching over the warden's dreams as he has since the beginning. As steadfast and routine as any good soldier in the Barasaad.

My dwarf warden is in a romance with Alistair. And he's over with the Arl. Nothing wrong with that. The fate of the world and his own obligations to the throne and to Ferelden make this an understandable necessity.

Simping aside I find it so so meaningful that the two most socially distant companions have chosen to spend their Denerim time near the warden. Literally more close to her than any other companion.

I've seen people saying that Sten is a wooden character. Or put in to ignite interest in the qun and begin that part of game lore. And this he certainly does do at least for me.

But this man isn't wooden at all imo. Just because he doesn't talk much doesn't mean he doesn't have thoughts and opinions and reasons for the choices he makes.

And I friggin love him to pieces gnybgbg
