ABOUT

Born into a big extended family, May has never known a quiet day, especially with her little sister, Kenzie, close at her heels. She was always someone people could talk to and rely on.

She was creative (loved music, dance and art) but music lessons and dance classes were too much money and so she fell into art which didn’t require classes as much.

May ended up getting rejected from every college she applied to and was gutted for a bit before that Vaisman determination kicked in and she asked the owner of Al’s Originals to let her learn. It seemed a practical application for her skill and work.

He did and eventually became an uncle-figure/mentor to May who’s skill grew over the years.

When Albert Shaw died, he left his shop to her in his will. May always tried to keep apart from the Reapers but learned shortly after becoming owner, that they had a deal with Al which she’s obligated to keep if she wants the lights to stay on. 

She’s not naive and knows that sometimes it’s how things work, and she knows many Reapers from growing up in Center Hill, but she can’t help but feel a bit resentful of the fact that they get such a large cut of profits. She doesn’t quite know why Al made the deal he did, but she also doesn’t want any trouble so, for now, May pays her dues and keeps her opinions to herself.

Has a pretty successful IG following for her work and is highlighting Al’s Originals now that she’s the owner.

She is happy to do tattoos around scars for discounted costs or free depending on the situation surrounding said scar 

She dotes on her nephew, Koda, like crazy and thinks that all his good traits come from her sister.
