Just curious in the prison AU how did the character yk react when being arrested? I’ve seen a few videos and some people like yk resist arrest or like make it difficult for the cops to load them into the car and others just kinda let it happen? I’m just curious on how much of a struggle did the cops have when trying to arrest the proxy’s/pastas

THIS MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS FOR FUTURE PARTD OF THE PRISON AU, IF YOU DONT WANNA SEE, SCROLL PAST.

I like to think the proxies got raided, so I'm going to take some inspo from my Insane Asylum AU

Maybe Toby left a piece of evidence that led the cops right to them. For this mission, the Proxies were staying in a motel. It was the middle of the night, Toby's watching lord knows what, Hoodie's looking at some photographs he took of the victims, and Masky's smoking outside. But, as Masky's smoking, he sees bunch of cop cars in the distance. He'd run inside and tell them that they gotta leave now.

However, they got caught. Hoodie would probably be the most willing. Hoodie's the most logical of the group and he knows damn well that he isn't going to get away unless they all have a plan. He'd have the most annoyed look on his face but he wouldn't do anything.

Toby almost gotta away. Toby's had so many run ins with the cops, starting back when he was a late teenager. He would've gotten away to if his tics didn't start to act up like crazy. He'd be screaming, maybe bite a cop or two, they wouldn't definitely put a muzzle on him because he'd been sent to jail before, as mentioned in Part 1.

Masky is similar to Hoodie where he's more so annoyed then anything. But, I can see him being extremely paranoid about what the Operator and Slenderman are going to react, not even Kate has gotten caught and she works alone. He'd curse out the cops, but during the car ride, he'd be mumbling to himself, and maybe even have a panic attack.

Now to everyone else!

Ben, Jeff, and EJ were also caught together. They were all hanging out in a cabin where Jeff killing the current residents. However, Jeff had left a piece of evidence at one of his old crime scenes that led the cops to them.

EJ was dissecting one of the people Jeff killed with Ben looming over him, smoking a blunt while asking him hundreds of questions. Jeff would come over and now all of them are looming over this dead guy's body, his stomach cut open with his kidneys ripped out.

I just wanna note that these guys were the hardest to find because they're not always together, EJ eats the evidence, Ben's killings rarely leave a mark on the real world, and Jeff is good at what he does.

When the door got kicked in, the cops stared at the three in horror.

Since Ben was high as hell, he'd start laughing while saying they were fucked. Might I add, if Ben wasn't high, the three of them deadass could've escaped no problem because the cabin had a TV.

Ben was caught first and he'd be laughing, yelling "Fuck the police" while spitting on the floor. The most unserious motherfucker.

EJ killed a good chunk of the cops, but then his hunger kicked in. He ended up eating a cop, but he was able to get knocked out because of it.

Jeff got carried away and got knocked out as well.

Liu's arrest was actually recorded on live TV.

After going on a minor killing spree in a city he was in, he was seen in the background of some guy's livestream.

Liu's identity was roughly unknown by the police, and they had a few sketches of what he might look like, and unfortunately for him, they had one that was really close.

When Liu realized he was being followed by a helicopter and a few police cars, he booked it. The entire chase was live, and in broad daylight too.

He ended up cornering himself after he ran into an abandoned building. When he realized he was caught, he just sat down and waited for the cops to catch up.

When the cops walked in, they saw him sitting on top of a crate, his head facing the floor as he spinned a knife in his hand, humming a lullaby to pass the time. Tbh with you, he let himself get caught. When Jeff found out, he was so fucking pissed off. When he saw him enter the inmates ward, he yelled and playfully hit him for 30 minutes straight, Liu couldn't care less tho.

coming as a shock to absolutely no one, nina would 100% be a slasher simp, and given i already hc that she reads and write fics and x readers i can easily see her writing slasher x reader stuff

you both bounce ideas off of each other, and if you have a favorite slasher.. you may notice an influx of writing for that character-

similar to EJs part you two sometimes sit and rank a bunch of the slashers though its less of a "whos the best" and a "whos the most attractive"

LAUGHING JACK

oh hes 100% going to copy some of the violence he sees when hes out doing his... whole thing...

will add his own twist, as if the scenes he leaves behind arent already horrifying enough

doesnt have a favorite slasher or movie, he thinks theyre all neat and have their own charms

seems to have a soft spot for the elm street and childs play movies thanks to some of the humor they slipped in, will quote some of the lines

laughs at the sheer stupidity of some of the characters in the film for doing something that inevitably gets them killed

tries to be sneaky like some of the slashers without using his clown powers, hes... not very good at sneaking but you pretend you didnt notice him coming up from behind

EYELESS JACK

he subconsciously makes notes of the gore in the movie and WILL talk about it when its over, whether it was accurate or not

i feel like he would be a bit of stickler for details like that, if something is inaccurate hes going to get hung up on it

i can see him being a fan of slasher movies, actually, especially when he was still just some normal dude- any gore gripes he has are usually overshadowed by the work that went into it

probably has a few slasher shirts and hes willing to let you borrow them every now and then as long as you return them eventually!

you might be able to convince him to do a matching costume for him when halloween rolls around- though its unlikely youll get him to go out and show off with you... maybe... if you have him still wearing a mask

I hope it's okay if I just do an in general Male Reader because I don't like to use specifics unless it's necessary, like for trans/cis exclusive experiences ie: dysphoria/euphoria, overly descriptive nsfw if I ever end up doing something like that, and/or things like periods which cis men don't experience to allow more people to relate. Eyeless Jack

• obsession obsession obsession. Beastlike has things he stole from you in a nest. Kills people who interact with you. Almost wolf-like if I had to put a fine point to it.

• At first it's just people who were mean to you, hurt you, or made you feel badly about yourself because surely a boy like yourself would praise him for being so helpful to you, right?

• Then it's anyone who gets too close or appears to like you romantically.

• Then it's anyone you spend too much time with which interferes with time meant for him.

• He's delusional, but in the practical sense.

• Think, "I'm doing this to protect him" , "Those people would hurt him eventually", "He's not safe on his own, he needs me to look over him." "The outside world will tear him apart."

• Stalks you 24/7. You are never without eyes on you but you also don't have a clue he's watching at first.

• After all he only steals things you haven't worn in months or you could chock up to misplacing.

• And he's a hunter so he specializes in stalking whether for food or in personal matters.

• You won't know he's there until it's too late.

• He'll make his move to kidnap you once you've essentially isolated yourself out of fear to those around you dying. He'll treat you gently during his kidnapping.

• Using his medical knowledge he'd give you anesthesia as you sleep and take you home.

• May remove an organ or two as souvenirs, treats if you will to add to his nest.

• Once you are in his possession he will add you to his nest and you'll wake up pressed firmly into his chest as he mumbles incoherently.

•If you ever try to leave he will make you pliant in anyway he can think of. He's not above physically harming you if that makes it so you can't leave him. He worked so hard to retrieve his mate and he won't lose you even if he has to hurt you or you end up hating him but you will stay.

Ben Drowned

• A lot like EJ he's also always watching difference is you are always overly aware of his presence.

• He wants you to know that he's watching. He wants you to interact with him. Even if that interaction is you yelling at him and begging him to leave you alone.

• He is 100% playing some sort of sick game with you that he knows you'll lose. Think you'll develop Stockholm syndrome before he even kidnaps you.

• If he ever leaves you alone for a few days you'd find yourself missing the teasing remarks and add ons normally added as you went about your day.

• All due to his tendency to drive people insane of which you are not immune but the trail of your insanity leading directly to his arms.

• He knows this and is overly cocky about it both to your face and to others. Think, "oh poor you, you love me, what an unfortunate situation." To your face the first time you fall asleep around him with a stupid sick grin or "I'm going to kill you and he's going to come to me for comfort and protection when he finds out." when talking to someone he's deemed bad for you.

• He wouldn't go on a murder spree without a trigger but then like Jack that'll devolve into killing anyone he disapproves of which is everyone else.

• He has a general distaste and distrust of people due to the nature of his creation and will find an excuse to kill anyone around you should his murderous intent be triggered which can happen in three different ways you're constantly distraught by someone, you start ignoring him to be around someone else, or you've failed to keep him entertained so he needed a more entertaining situation.

• Possesive with a capital P, if he does not know your precise location or have you within arms reach at any given moment he will lose it.

• Clingy but veiled with indifference. He'll act as if he doesn't care but insist on keeping some kind of contact at all times. Once he physically has you this would be physical contact and before hand just following you everywhere saying he doesn't have anything better to do.

• Will use psychological and emotionally harmful methods to keep you in line if you ever try to reject him or his advances but claims won't hurt you physically in anyway.

• His vice grip on you reveals otherwise though. Enough so to encourage you to go along with him.

Laughing Jack

• I feel he'd court you in cat-like ways. If you've been in his box more extravagant shows with him as the lead, carrying you around places. (Being weary to let you leave until he eventually stops letting you leave.

•Leaving you gifts that go from sweet to scary really fast. Think your favorite treats and then your loved ones' hearts carved from their chests so you never have to leave him again.

• He's the king of being delulu and reacts poorly to ungratefulness so do try your best not to scream or hit him when instead of cotton candy he has a loved one's head on a stick.

• You can try to gently coerce him to stop killing your loved ones in order to isolate you and making you stay forever/to let you go. But he'll say "you're being silly" and "here is where you belong you goofball of a boy. " covered in your loved ones blood as he ruffles your hair.

•The accidentally kill you for being ungrateful/not accept him and keep your corpse like your still alive type.

•Keep it lighthearted and the Jester is your friend. If you don't and mention troubles he'll fix them violently.

• Is constantly coddling and cuddling you.

• Since he was once a guardian angel and he believes his murdering of ungrateful children is God's work, he sees you as a present for all his good work.

• Like a child being gifted a puppy on Christmas.

• Bone crushing hugs and grips that bruise your skin and make it so it hurts to move but he acts like he didn't mean to and gets moody if you push him away or say he's hurting you.

• It's an act though, he likes seeing you squirm in pain and the expressions you make trying not to cry when he holds you.

• He thinks it's cute. He thinks you're cute when you're in pain.

• On a lighter note, he 100% is the type of clingy to hold your sleeve going places or to poke you (mostly) lightly in order to get your attention.

Homicidal Liu

•The softest in this lineup.

• I believe the term is dormant Yandere? Yeah. It is, because you wouldn't guess something is off until something starts getting between the two of you.

• You remind him of before his traumas, whether that be you look like someone who was kind to him before or upon first meeting you were genuine, honest, and kind. You make him feel safe and calm or as calm as Sully gets and he's never letting you leave him.

• He'd incorporate himself into your life truly getting close to you. Like this is months if not years long in the making. He becomes the closest person to you in your inner circle and you're the same for him. He plays the long game.

• You guys live together and you probably already like him the same way he likes you but both of you are too awkward to talk about it and Sully has been forbidden to say anything or Liu threatened to take his meds. Or you guys are in a long-term committed relationship already.

• Protective, possessive, and obsessive but fairly level headed. He is aware of the reality of the situation. Ie: his possessiveness is giving you his clothes and repetitive thoughts of "mine" during times of physical contact or seeing you in his clothes and needing texts or where you are, why you left, and when you plan on being back as well as if anything changes. He obsesses over your likes, dislikes, mannerisms, emotional cues, and interests so he essentially knows you even better than you do. Protective being watching over you as you sleep in situations where it's acceptable to do so and setting up security systems for the house.

•More likely to grab your arm or hug your knees and sob "please don't leave me" than he is to ever hurt you. The most agressive he gets is when Sully is fronting but even then the likelihood of him hurting you above holding you a bit too tight is 5% and reserved for extremely specific occasions which virtually don't happen. Ie: you find out he's a murderer and react too poorly in a way he didn't expect, you leave him cold turkey, you treat him poorly

• Clingy always needs some kind of contact most of the time this equates to holding hands/pinkies in public and ensuring the two of you are essentially attached at the hip. Though because he's entered your inner circle you just think it's because you two are close and that's the product of your closeness.

• His hunting turns into stalking and killing those who've been bugging you and you've talked poorly about whenever he feels his bloodlust bubbling over.

•'Cause if he kills people you've said that you wished would die or that you hate you'll be able to forgive or even praise him right?

• Unlikely to kidnap you unless he gets caught/found out then he'll probably relocate the two of you but he'd rather talk to you about it beforehand so it'd be a last minute emergency type thing. Or if you spend too much time away from him.

Jeff the Killer

• Doesn't play games of any kind. He'll observe you just long enough to learn about you, your schedule, who all knows you, and how frequently they check in. Then he'll remove obstacles and he'll just just take you.

• Impatient and the shortest fuse known to man.

• He's not afraid to hurt you in fact he enjoys it so the more perverted side of him wants you to push him and his expectations.

• The chain you up in a basement type

•He'll kill anyone involved with your life so when you beg him to let you go with tears in your eyes saying you have people waiting for you he can tell you with certainty that you don't. Not anymore. Laughing as he tells you and stroking/tugging at your hair.

• Degrading and mean to the point where you can't tell if he hates you or not. Uses pet names in a derogatory way as well.

• Pretty distant and cold even after you warm up to him and he lets you wander around a contained and highly surveillanced area, though it's probably just the torture basement he chained you up in to begin with.

•Most affection you'd get is a pat on the head or shoulder.

•Any other form of affection wouldn't really feel like affection.

•Wants to break you into a mindless doll essentially for him to love, use, and abuse. But the breaking you into it is very important to him.

• Will torture you severely for any mishap.

•The only way you can tell he's attracted to you beyond physically, is if he goes too far with the torture, when he's patching you up, or when he brings you something you like/he likes.

•Though he talks to you sweetly sometimes after you pass out and/or are slipping into unconsciousness. "You were made for me, sweet boy." "So good for me." It wigs you out though.

•you will feel like you live on eggshells as try your best to accommodate to him.

• you are most likely to go insane and learn to crave his mistreatment.

Ticci-Toby

• Delusional. He is convinced you and him are in love and have the white picket fence dream. Complete with a German Shepherd and two adopted kids.

• And because of the way his brain is scrambled once he starts thinking about you regularly he can no longer tell what really happened or what was a daydream.

• Hopefully he has a good enough grip on reality to have actually interacted with you before his delusions convince him that you need to be with him at all times and he kidnaps you.

• 'Cause if not he's going to be really confused as to why his boyfriend who told him this is what he wanted is freaking out to the point of needing restrained. You'll hurt his feelings and he'll probably successfully gaslight you into believing his delusions himself.

• Also the lock you up type but more in the paranoid of others stealing you from him way, so if it's not together you aren't going.

• Like Jeff he allows you to roam around a highly surveillanced and locked up area but unlike Jeff it's an actual house and not a basement.

• He will hole up with you for weeks until duty calls or the house runs out of supplies

• Very "I love him I love him I love him I love him" coded and needs you to be just as enthusiastic.

•The hurt you on accident and profusely apologize immediately after but loves how you look when you cry and tremble as he patches you up type.

• Think someone telling him something that insinuated his affections towards you didn't count so he grabs your arm and squeezes it as you try walking away, asking "Toby... you're hurting me." He says wide-eyed struggling for only a moment as his kidnapper/partner tightens his grip with steel cold eyes. "Tell me it counts. It counted right?" (may or may not be my first ex-core as in my experience based)

•He feels really guilty about it too and periodically he will be crying into your lap forcing you to comfort him after an outburst because he feels just like his dad and he hates it.

Tim/Masky

• Much like Homicidal Liu and Hoodie he is actively incorporating you into his life. Difference is he's trying to manipulate you into thinking he's the only one you can trust.

• Uses the White Knight Method, which in case you're unfamiliar is a highly efficient manipulation technique in which they solve your problems while unbeknownst to you being the source of said problems until you become obsessed with or fall in love with the "knight" protecting you.

• If you feel like someone is watching you, he's toying with you. In fact he'll probably show up shortly after from the opposite direction of where you think watching is coming from and ask you if you're okay. Revelling in the look of fear on your face as you gush to him about what's bothering you and promising to protect you as he walks you home.

•He'll sabotage your relationships by making you think that they're the ones who've been leaving disturbing gifts on your doorstep/trying to hurt you.

• It's very much so a game to him and you're the prize.

• He's the type to want to see every emotion you have to offer.

• He's also the likes when you smile and likes when you cry more type

• But his need for you to need him and seek him out basically nukes the previous headcannon and makes it so he settles for comforting you when as far as you know something/someone else made you cry.

•Essentially by the time he's done with you, you'd beg to never leave his side, for him to keep you close and keep you safe but you don't have to because that's right where he wants you.

Brian/Hoodie

• Stalker alert! He's watching you sleep and following you everywhere

•Also uses the White Knight method but he uses what would have been a one time scary occurrence and uses that occurrence as a scapegoat to make more situations/scenarios which isolate you and bring you closer to him.

• In fact, his protection is a gateway to you, his foot in the door.

•It starts with him stepping in when things get scary then you see him somewhere you frequent and you talk to him or he talks to you and numbers are exchanged.

• After of which you are his clearly. Obviously, you just don't know it yet.

• Then he starts staging more scary, making your loved ones hurt you/turn on you/are the culprit in a scary situation until he's all you have. Until you need him.

• Mans has hidden cameras all over your house.

•You know where most of them are after all it was his idea, he said it was for your protection. What you didn't account for is all the hidden cameras in the gifts he's got you.

• He's the quiet, doting, infantilizing type.

• As in he genuinely believes you are too small, weak, and pure to know any of his intentions and he treats you as if you have no clue about anything always. Babies you constantly at a gradually increasing weight until it's suffocating.

• He wants to lock you up and protect you.

• Gaslighting king, if you catch on or try to leave him he will gaslight you into staying.

• Think "Baby boy what are you even talking about everything I've done was for your protection and your protection alone. There's no secret cameras you don't know about you're being silly." Or "Sweet boy, I've never done anything you didn't want or need. I'm very intuned to your needs and you need me. You need to be protected, you aren't safe unless I'm near."

• So genuinely and heartfeltly said that you'd clearly be the bad guy for even thinking like that and with how deep he has you you'd believe him too.

SlenderVerse AU

Over a decade has passed and those who have survived the Slenderman/Operator in the past are taken and transported to a desolate area of woodlands. No signs of other people or even civilization can be found. Not only do these survivors not know each other, but the longer they are able to survive in this new environment. Those who were originally killed or lost their lives to Slenderman/The Operator in the past are also revived and placed into this world as a way of bringing people with experience into the game. Those who have never experienced the entity are likely to perish much faster. There are tools and supplies for survival as there are 2 cabins in the mass forest where the survivors are able to rest and recover. Necessities such as food, clothes, tools, water etc are provided in these cabins though the supplies are limited of course. The survivors will eventually need to either grow and hunt their own food to survive. Each survivor is also given a camera and a vast supply of tapes that will be replenished over time by the entity. 

Those who please Slenderman/ The Operator are likely to find different types of ‘rewards’ including weapons, food, supplies, but most importantly pills to suppress Slender Sickness. The survivors do still have their memory from their past encounters with the entity, however do still suffer the same effects they had in the past with it. The survivors only have a singular goal. Survive, and hope that the entity will eventually let them go.

So here's the ones that I casually forgot to add (and also, lore bits :D ):

He has ADHD, depression, an anxiety disorder, and child PTSD (he got this from the bullying and the death of Lyra, as well as the abuse he endured

He has so many bandages on his fingers because of how much he bites them

Has such long, messy hair (as shown in my Toby icon drawing) that he doesn't really care much about

Season 4 Scene Prompt 3

I want Maddox/Jet's parents to talk to EJ. I think they would love him more than anything. And they would be sooo proud of him and would tell him that and thank him and just be bomb ass parents to this wayward white boy.

Just think about it, based on what we know about the family.

The family moves to Salt Lake City following the release of the Frozen Documentary

This is despite them both working high hour jobs that already keeps them from home a lot. Noted by Jet at the shrine.

Jet has ongoing behavioral issues, compounded by burnout and guilt, and other normal teenage hormonal and mental changes. These do not include ADD/ADHD, so also medication complications may be a factor.

Said behavior has escalated to a point of expulsion from his previous school. Also ditching his sister's birthday.

But somehow Maddox does not know what happened, so either the siblings go to different schools despite being very close in age, or the events are being deliberately kept from her and apparently other kids at school are also going along with this.

Maddox has a hard time connecting with others. Her whole circle of camp friends either consisted of only a few people, or they have collectively decided not to rejoin this year after the breakup.

Part of her challenges are that she tends to avoid large social groups, including missing at least a few of the proms, a massive tradition, despite being very absorbed by them otherwise.

Despite all these, the siblings are being transferred not only to a different school, but to a different school in a different city, in a different state, and specifically the school where Maddox's old camp friend attended. EJ is directly connected to everyone in the siblings' sudden progress.

Any one little change would be appreciated but you don't uproot your life for one friend. But when you see such a stark change in your children, when you get to remember what they look like happy again....well...

These guys love their kids, okay? They love them enough to keep trying, to keep pushing them to make connections. So many parents would just accept that their kids are loners, or would accept their child as a nuisance. But they're trying to help.

They're trying. EJ succeeded.

thoughts on the ships that are going to be potentially endgame this season? (madlyn +jetney) and also what do you think is going to happen to rina this season based on the teaser!

i am so excited to see how the ships develop this season. i think both madlyn + jetney have a lot of potential. however, i saw both of these ships as sort of slowburns, but with the time left it does make me hesitant to see how they pan out. especially with jet and maddox being recurring characters. i am highly intrigued with how their story may play out however. so i guess what i am trying to say is, i am putting my trust on the writers to deliver a good/satisfying storyline for them.

as for rina and the teasers. i have sooo many thoughts! (sorry if this is long i tend to ramble)

first, i have to say, it is so so sweet how in love they look! it makes me so happy that after three seasons we can finally see them together like this. happy and in love and in a healthy relationship!

gina being a cheerleader for the hsm4 movie and ricky the nerd is perfection to me. popular girl x nerdy boy is one of my favorite tropes ever. (they did this for me!) it’s also genderbent troyella, so i’m expecting lots of rina parrallels to troyella this season.

it seems gina will have some type of storyline with mack. or at least, that’s what they want us to think from the teasers going into the show. more so for drama purposes i suppose. they revealed in the character description mack is a child actor and has something with dani. so, i do not believe it will be something in regards of romance whatsoever, but more so to do with where gina’s career may be heading. since, it seems that gina will have a bigger role in the hsm4 movie. this seems to be a big season for gina so i am thrilled to see, as she is my favorite character.

honestly, ricky and gina are so in love with each other that the idea of any outside character “getting in between” just will not make me flinch. (though i am already rolling my eyes at the anti rinas who will cling unto mack and gina out of spite…)

i do think there will be some conflict with rina, because obviously, every plot needs some. but i see their main conflict being more about their circumstances. something that parallels troyella’s in hsm3. as individual characters, it looks like ricky and gina will be going through a lot of changes and ups and downs this season. which is something that will ultimately trickle down to their relationship. however, i know they will work through it to show the contrast between them and their past relationships. the core of rina as a ship is them fully understanding and getting each other, so they will get through things smoothly. joshua also called them a healthy relationship, so i am sure they will handle things fine.

what i hope to see is the orange buggy making a comeback! it is only right to bring back the car one last time since it is where they first felt a spark between them. if they brought the hat back then they could bring the car back too. to which, i hope leads to a rain/car scene. the bts pictures leads me to believe there will be a rain/car scene. i am fully convinced! there could be an emotional build up to lead up to that scene too. in the teaser we saw a scene where ricky looked sort of sad where he spoke with ej, so it may be a big moment. we will have to wait and see. hoping we get something more in the trailer to add more credibility to this theory.

lastly, i think i am most excited for an i love you scene. i just think that it will show great growth on ricky’s part and will be a sweet moment overall. (they’re so in love i wouldn’t be surprised if ricky just blurts it out without noticing :ag&/sjisakakjkjk)

This came together a bit easier than I was expecting, but I think it has the spirit of the original conversation while also having Bill and Laura being as familiar as they would be after knowing each other as they do.

“We’re not going to start that. They’re still human beings. Tell the captain that I expect daily reports on the wellbeing of the prisoners, and if there’s any mysterious deaths, the Astral Queen may find herself on her own without the Galactica’s protection,” Laura instructs, and as she does is torn between admiring her nerve for offering up the Galactica for protection without his consent, but he also feels annoyed because of the exact same reason.

“Yes, Madame President,” Billy responds, and Bill is shocked to hear someone call Laura that for the first time, though it also seems right, before getting up and leaving.

“EJ, can you give your dad and I a minute?” Laura requests as even after everything that has happened, she still wants to keep her daughter from seeing her and Bill fight.

“Sure,” EJ says to her mother, recognizing what she is doing and not having it in her to argue against it, not after everything that has happened. “I’ll wait outside,” EJ tells her parents.

“Don’t go far,” Bill tells his daughter, as he knows there are a lot of dangerous things going on at the moment and he wants her safe.

“I won’t,” EJ assures her father as she heads out and because it is clear to her that they want to talk alone she closes the hatch behind her.   

“That looks like a nasty cut,” Laura notes, trying to tell if he has gotten stiches, but Bill is currently too far away for her to tell.

“That’s what happens when you fight a machine,” Bill responds, as he walks over to Laura. “Cylon’s look like us now, Laura, right down to the blood,” Bill explains, having no intention of keeping that from Laura, as he sits down across form her.

“Are you sure?” Laura asks, her voice shocked, realising that that means things are about to get so much worse.

“Positive,” Bill responds. “They could be anyone,” Bill tells her.

“Well, that’s horrifying,” Laura comments, knowing that it is going to be a huge problem, and she just adds it to the list, and she leans back on her chair. “Are you planning to sage a military coup?” Laura asks.

“What?” Bill asks shocked.

“Do you plan to declare martial law? Take over the government?” Laura asks, leaning forward once again.

“You know me better than that, Laura,” Bill tells her, as he has always made it clear how he feels about marital law, something which he would think Laura should know.  

“I thought I did,” Laura admits, and Bill realises that his earlier words hurt her more than he realised, and he isn’t sure if he can make that right.

“I’m President of the colonies now Bill, which makes it my responsibility to look at the bigger picture, and the bigger picture is that there are fifty thousand civilian refuges out there who don’t stand a chance without you and your ship to protect them,” Laura tells Bill.

“You will if you stay here at Ragnar,” Bill tells Laura, thinking that is for the best. “You and the fleet can stay here where it’s safe, the storm here effects all Cylon technology, while the Galactica will rejoin the fight, because that’s my mission,” Bill says, knowing that Laura should understand that because his ‘mission’ is always what got between them.

“Your as bad as Saul,” Laura says, rolling her eyes, and Bill recognizes the insult. “I can’t believe I’m the one who has to keep saying this, but the war is over, Bill,” Laura tells him, needing him to comprehend that.

“Actually Laura, it hasn’t begun,” Bill corrects.

“That’s insane,” Laura says, trying to keep her frustration down as twenty-seven years of experience tell her that becoming frustrated won’t get her anywhere.  

“Would you rather that we run?” Bill asks, not understanding how Laura could think that’s a good idea.  

“Yes, absolutely,” Laura answers, without hesitation. “It’s the only sane option we have,” Laura informs him. “We leave this solar system, and we don’t look back, it’s our only hope,” Laura tells Bill, needing him to understand as while she can lead the fleet if they are going to have a chance at survival then they need Bill and the Galactica.

“And go where?” Bill asks, wondering if she has really though that through.  

“I don’t know,” Laura admits. “Another star system, another planet, somewhere where the Cylon’s won’t find us,” Laura says to Bill.

“If you really want to run then you can, but this ship will stand, and we will fight,” Bill says, even though he doesn’t want to say goodbye to Laura and EJ again, and Laura continues to try to push her frustration down.

“That’s a mistake,” Laura tells Bill. “Bill, I need you to really listen to me, the human race is about to be wiped out,” Laura tells him “We have fifty thousand people and that’s it,” Laura reminds him. “Now, if we are even going to survive as a species, then we need to get the hell out of her, and people need to start having babies,” Laura tells Bill, needing him to understand exactly what is at stake.  

“Excuse me,” Bill says before getting up and heading out of the room, Laura’s words having more effect on him than he’d like to admit, and after watching him go Laura takes off her glasses and rubs her eyes, feeling a headache coming alone.

“I’m going to guess that didn’t go well,” EJ’s voice says, and Larua opens her eyes to see that her daughter has walked back into the room.

“Honestly it went about as well as I was expecting,” Laura says, knowing that the best she can hope for is that Bill thinks about what she said and realises that running is their only option.

“Dad wants to fight, doesn’t he?” EJ asks, as from the whispers she has heard, and what her uncle said earlier, that’s what she assumes is the case.

“He does,” Laura confirms.

“Do you think that is a fight that could possibly be won?” EJ asks her mother, and for a few moments Laura debates how to answer that, as she doesn’t want to lie to her daughter, but she also doesn’t want the truth to traumatise her.

“No, I don’t,” Laura admits, deciding that answering the question honestly is for the best.  

“Then I really hope Dad listens to you,” EJ admits, knowing that she doesn’t want to lose her father now that she just got him back, nor does she want to lose Lee who would also be in danger if their father decides to keep fighting.

Hes not very good at dancing, ignoring the fact that hes never danced before. Alone or with someone else, hes totally new! Keeps accidentally stepping on your feet.. he probably calls it quits out of frustration. That being said I do think he would try again if it's something you really want to do it are very passionate in.. you might even catch him looking at stuff to help him, or even practicing by himself when he thinks you're not looking. Its.. actually a little sweet.. even if he does get it down, dancing isnt really his thing but he does feel nice about making you happy

Jeff the Killer

Oh hohoho he HATES dancing, getting him to agree to dance with you is like making a cat take a bath. Hes a terrible dancer, too, by the way. Does not know what to do with his feet or hands and he kind of shuffles across the floor.. think of the stuff marks if hes wearing shoes-! Unlike toby he doesnt attempt to work on his skills on the side, and hes only going to dance with you once and probably never again

Laughing Jack

You may think you're getting a slow dance but with LJ, nothing is going to be slow. He makes use of his long arms by spinning and dipping you, hope you're used to seeing him stretch and alter them because hes going to show that little ability of his off- tries his best to not send you flying- it doesnt matter how you're built, lj is MASSIVE and the fact hes putting so much energy into it.. its bound to get a little intense

Eyeless Jack

Not much of a dancer, actually now that you think about it he doesnt seem to be very active in your day to day lives. If you ask nicely he will give it a try, but like most of the other characters in this post, he doesnt seem to know what hes doing. He let's you take the lead, for the most part. Doesnt stutter or stop if he accidentally steps on your feet, just a quick apology and you both carry on as not to ruin the dance by making it a larger deal than it is. He'd prefer doing something else but he doesnt want to deny you of some happiness

Ej Hauser

Discovery is EJ Hauser in the WINDOW on Walker Street in Tribeca and the off-the-grid gallery in downtown LA. Brooklyn-based artist, EJ Hauser, syncs her drawing and painting practice. Lucy Mu Li

Like Hauser, Lucy Mu Li from Southern California is interdisciplinary, combining photography and painting. Playing on the elements of water, earth, and sky Li’s philosophical paintings are metaphors for that which embodies life itself. She has an obsession with infinity as one painting extends to the next continuing the metaphysical narrative, “time is the artist, water is the hand that paints, stone is the traveler”. Moving are references to love, family, elders, aging and how time transforms stones (humans) into sand. So inspired by one of her titles, to age is to unearth, I jotted it down as a reminder. In response, unearthing exceptional female emerging artists is the intent. If I could only express in two words Li’s work, like a condensed haiku, it would be moving movement.

Jadé Fadojutimi

Drawing on her eclectic interests in Japanese anime and sounds, like the Crown soundtrack, one can imagine the atmosphere of Fadojutimi’s South London studio. The bold energy of her vibrant colors, brushstrokes and large-scale canvases create excitement and a feeling of awe and wonder as if you’ve had an epiphany about what life should be if you were living it properly. Fadojutimi’s world sparks an urge to dance, sing without shame, walk the red carpet wearing something fabulous while running through an English floral garden. Too much? Maybe not, she expressed, “It is heartbreakingly beautiful just to exist. I mean those two words literally. Life is really fucking beautiful. It just means accepting everything that comes with it, spilling into the time that we have; one of the many definitions of ‘love’”. Abstract girls rule in part because they love to express love.

Heather Day

Another California abstract artist, Heather Day, deconstructs compositions and reinvents through a rearrangement of disrupted composition. The freshness lies in its deconstruction and yet she achieves a harmonious flow from one panel of canvas to the next. Blue Prism No. 1 and Rose Prism No. 1 are like cut-up Frankenthalers repurposed and defaced with mixed media. Giving geometry to stained canvas and blended paint may seem irreverent, but it’s the deconstruction of preciousness and reimaging Abstract Expressionism that is au courant. Almost juvenile marks of finger-smudged color add a precocious yet intentional flair. Day’s work is more purely abstract and when her titles become verbs, the paintings take on a simplistic, mysterious identity.

Do you ever look at people on TikTok saying that Rina was one-sided in season 1 but then just remember that Ricky was the one who kept staring at her during her fake homecoming date with EJ?

Frankly, it would be a stretch to say he liked her then. It just seems intriguing.

Like think about it. He’s the only one out of the drama group at this time who didn’t think she was bad. Him saying “maybe you are what people say you are. A little too ambitious for your own good or anyone else’s.” Wasn’t his direct quote, it was a message from other people in the drama group. He in fact was the one who said “I sort of thought you were classier than this.”

Which just shows he had a level of respect and understanding with her. As proclaimed by him when he says “I sort of thought we like got each other.”

I find it fascinating how they both said things to each other that worked as wake up calls for their previous actions.

Ricky saying what the other theatre kids said about her really worked to set her straight. She genuinely started to rethink the way she acted around other people.

I think it’s significant that Gina is the one who says to him “you’re not the only one with home drama.” Because after that, Ricky ends up realising that he’s been acting like a jerk to her. Like the initial apology may have been pushed by Big Red, but afterwards Ricky seems more genuine. Especially when he says “I didn’t mean to add to yours.” It shows that he’s starting to think about how there are more people who are going through things too.

I think he may have wondered why he was making Gina and EJ’s date his business. But I think he figured at this point, after she kissed him on the cheek. He might’ve thought “that’s why.”
