What summery lighting for such a wintery fellow!

Before I started working on the Purely Personal painting, I needed to work out the style rendering. It's partly inspired by Max Grecke, whose smooth shading and sharp shapes while still being atmospheric I admire.

This was done in collaboration with Inktooth for a Max Grecke challenge, she created the atmospheric, wonderful background and I drew our characters dressed up for halloween !
