W a close friend who's kinda half dead/alive?

They were from another universe but somehow ended up in their universe making them half dead/alive cause they don't exist in the universe so they technically have yet to die in it (Their abilities are like Danny phantom's)

They can become alive or a ghost, also to make this more fun let's make the close friend someone from.... What about the pirate era?

They'll have a blast when they know what they missed out on! Woah, there's flying cars now? There's a weird guy who dresses like a bat and is one of the good guys in this universe? Holy fuck? TELL THEM MORE

Soaks up any information they got from rouge like a sponge, so so curious of the new era around them and imagine their surprise when there are modern pirates too! (When I found out about it I was pretty surprised, thought the pirates stuff was long gone now)

Continued my draft soundtrack case study for my visual media composition module, of course

I wasn't being too productive today since my deadline for the draft soundtrack case study is in two days. I haven't made an Excel cue sheet for the visual media music module besides making two compositions in video form and one composition in audio, so fuck it. I need to go one step further and get started on the next module as soon as it is assigned. The event group meeting deadline getting past due was bad enough, but I won't go for another one this time. Looks like I'll be needing my music to take away the stress, or my breathing technique.

I want to shut off the world when I listen to music because no matter if I'm reading a book, playing an open-world video game, taking a nap, or doing a mini-study session, it helps me get rid of the drama around me on a real-life basis, dissipating the fury inside of me. It's like Hans Christian Anderson always said: "When words fail, music speaks." Only a hot-tempered moron would get stressed out over nothing to the realization they had done something silly that released their temper to start off with.

Lost the original post, but someone was talking about Tim mostly just having the same gallery of Rogues as the rest of the Bats, and that’s not actually true. Our lad had over 200 issues of solo comic during post-Crisis, he definitely has some Rogues that are his more than anyone else’s!

King Snake (Edmund Dorrance). Dorrance is 100% specifically one of Tim’s villains. If in modern comics any writers decided to resurrect him and start using him again I would be delighted, because he’s such a painful white guy who thinks he’s all that and better than the Hong Kong-based gang he runs. He’s also ‘died’ multiple times and just because he appeared in Blackest Night doesn’t mean he’s still dead now, we’ve had two universe reboots since then!

Lynx (and the rest of the Ghost Dragons). Both Lynx I and Lynx II are also Tim’s foes, though he’s happy to share them with Cass if she also wants to get some kicks in. Lynx I also has died twice (both times due to Cass) because a writer couldn’t be bothered to check the canon bible while writing.

Ulysses Armstrong. The General mostly exists to be an absolute pain and cause Tim angst. Also I’ll never forgive them for killing off Matthew and Hillary Armstrong, who helped Tim out from their very first appearances.

Anarky/Lonnie Machin. Tim’s shadow half. They’ve been feuding since 1990 and there’s no sign they plan to stop (even when they’re working together).

Ratcatcher is arguably more Tim’s villain than Bruce’s, and nobody else really deals with him.

The Sk8er Bois. Bring them (and Tim’s extremely dangerous skateboard) back!

Johnny Warlock. Wow do I ever hate Johnny, and he’s super annoying, but he’s definitely in Tim’s gallery.

The obvious one: Lady Shiva. She’s not Tim’s exclusively but only Cass has a closer connection in the Batfam and Tim’s connection is arguably closer than Bruce’s.

Plus of the more standard Bat Rogue collection:

Arthur Brown particularly dislikes Tim (alongside the obvious pick that he’s part of Steph’s gallery)

Maxie Zeus has mostly only tangled with Tim out of people who aren’t Bruce.

Arguably Tim’s the main Robin to deal with Mad Hatter too.

Ventriloquist is again a Tim-as-Robin era villain (mostly 1, I don’t think 2 spent much time near any Robin)

There’s probably some correlation between Bane’s position among the Rogues and Tim to make, because of how their timelines cross, but equally I highly dislike Bane so I’m not going to bother sketching it out.

Riddler has a soft spot for Tim.

So does Selina, whose first reluctant team up with that kid was during the original Clench.

Can’t forget Jean-Paul Valley (while hallucinating St Dumas)

And that’s just off the top of my head, there’s definitely others with more than a single storyline.

Descendants DR

This is a lonnnggg Deep dive into my Descendants 1,2, and 3 DR.

I've had this DR since I was 15 I'm really attached to it. So there is a lot. Nothing is grammar or spell checked I was just yapping and it was late at night.

About Me:

The Daughter of Constance Hatchaway and Jefferson "Mad" Hatter. They met right before the beast locked all the VKs away.

I use my real name and face for all my DRs. But online I use a nickname aka Lilly so let's say in this DR I'm Lilly Hatchaway Hatter.

Because of who my parents are I kinda have powers like them. Since my mom is literally a ghost my hair can go blue. And Like Hatter my hair can go from an orange-ish red to white. One of my eyes is a brown/green color while the other is a total ghostly blue. I can also summon an axe whenever I want to and can go "ghost mode" where I'm kinda transparent.

My aesthetic on the isle vs at Auradon. By the third movie both styles have combined.

Background:

Lived with my Mom Constance Hatchaway on the isle, she runs a hotel. That happened to be close by the queen of hearts casino. I grew up being best friends with Roja Hearts (I always felt bad giving her what I felt like was a basic name but then Descendants four literally did the same) and Lucid Hatbox (son of the Hatbox ghost) we all spent a lot of time either at the casino or the hotel.

One time I found Carlos hiding and my mom felt bad for him so she lets him stay in the hotel whenever. Carlos of course always helps around but we keep whenever he is there to ourselves. We had crushes on each other on the isle until I suddenly left. My mom didn't tell him I was in Auradon no one but Roja and Lucid knew. He stopped frequently going and would only come by every once in a while when his mom got too much over the years.

With Harry Hook he and I first got into a tussle when he tried to steal from the casino. Once again my mom grew pitty on him so she promised not to tell the queen of hearts as long as he and his crew kept both the mansion and the casino out of trouble. He'd often frequent, him and Carlos never crossed paths. He is the one that taught me to actually defend myself and told me about the Isle since I never go to his area. Would often steal some of my things but would return them since I did the same to him. I tried to see him before I left but he was with Uma. He took me leaving the hardest because he saw it as betrayal. He stormed out of the mansion and never came back.

This is all as we are kids that's why my mom isn't harsh on them. And she left the whole killing men thing behind after she met my dad.

My Dad Mad Hatter (face claim is Matthew Lillard) found out about me and started sending me letters. Eventually he wanted to see me and would visit every couple months. (With permission of the beast who was highly against it) Him and my mom came to terms to send me away with him. Making me the first VK on Auradon but no one knew I was a VK except for Ben, Bayou (Daughter of Tiana and Naveen) and Lotus (Son of the white rabbit) they are my best friends.

Ben had been dreaming of Mal and all that but what helped him really come to terms with wanting to invite VKs is me and my stories from the Isle. Ben See's me as his biggest true best friend so he comes to me for everything.

Descendants 1

I had wanted to add more songs into this DR so I sat down and listened to artists that's why many repeat.

My roommate is Bayou but I don't wake up to her I actually wake up to Ben telling me to get ready because the VKs could be here any moment. I sing Show You (originally by Shawn Mendes) with him as we make our way to the courtyard.

Carlos quickly recognizes me and I give him a handkerchief with my initials on it that only confirms his assumption. In private away from everyone even the VKs we have a moment and he promises to keep my secret.

I sing Paralyzed by BTR with the Bayou and Lotus when I notice that I still like Carlos.

Mal decides that it is a good idea to spell me too, Carlos feels bad but has to go with it. I don't know if I wanna script one of us (or maybe a duet) with the song Love Me Again by Big Time Rush but we aren't in the same place. We sing Can I Have This Dance from HSM 3 on our first date while he thinks I'm under the spell. Idk if I wanna script something funny and have Ben dump a bucket of Lake water on me like in many fanfics from back in the day xd

During the Family Day Audrey exposes me as Constance Hatchaways daughter. It causes me to run off to my room, a while later the VKs appear at my door and talk with me. Carlos of course stays behind when they leave and reassures me more.

During the Coronation I admit to Carlos that the spell wore off. He gets extremely nervous but we agree to stay as friends but there obviously more. After set it off, me and the others are singing Just Getting Started by BTR.

How You Get The Girl by Taylor Swift - was thinking of this one being me singing when Lotus asks me for help but when the lyric is about "me" I sing it looking at Carlos.

I am going to be honest I don't focus on the next 2 movies that much since I usually just run with what happens.I would love to script in more songs but have trouble finding some.

Descendants 2

During this I'm trying to get comfortable with showing my "VK side" I contact my mom more and even ask Ben to let me visit the isle.

Since Carlos and I are "just friends" I tend to get jealous with how he is with Jane. I sing a version of Any Kind Of Guy by BTR with Bayou and Lotus. It's supposed to be fun and silly. But once I hear word that Carlos and Jane might like each other I go to the Isle to spend some time with my mom. I sing Rockstar by Prima J with Roja and Lucid as I change into a more Isle appropriate outfit and run around the casino. By the end I run into Harry and get word that Ben has been captured.

Harry and I have an argument about how I abandoned him and left him. I try to defend myself but fail as he ignores me as he walks off. The tension is high trying to help Ben, Carlos and I not knowing where we stand, and the other VKs from the Isle calling me out for kinda abandoning them. Still Roja and Lucid help save Ben, I steal Mal's rap verse in It's Going Down. So Harry comes close to me as the boys suddenly appear behind me.

While the battle is going on I get a chance to explain everything to Harry and apologize. He goes off on me again saying how it hurt because he liked me and he can see how I am with Carlos. This is where the DR can change, if I'm shifting for Carlos there is nothing romantic with Harry. But if I am shifting for Harry we have a moment where we stand really close looking at each other before I'm pulled away.

Carlos: We kinda relieved the tension there is because of Mal and Ben. He questions me as to why I was as on the Isle. He can't help but be a little jealous at the thought of me possibly going to see Harry. When I explain how I was just feeling out of place and wanted to find myself a little he nods and softly holds my hand. Like in the movie with Jane suddenly asks me once we are back at Auradon.

Once Ben walks down the stairs with Uma and starts dancing with her Carlos and Lotus have to hold Bayou and I from rudely questioning him. Everything happens as it should. Carlos and I make our relationship official. Even though he literally asked me to be his date I wanna play the surprised card and admit the jealousy I had to Jane to have a cute moment.

Harry: Even though uma is having a temper tantrum next to him and he's not happy about the VKs escaping he gives me a small wave with his hook. The tension in the limo is high but after the girl talk before Carlos asks Jane he talks to me. Tears are fall but we come to an agreement. I can't get Harry off my mind but am hurt by the Carlos thing. When I go to run my mouth at Uma and Ben it's someone else that stops me. Something in me can't help but hope that maybe Harry got across with Uma.

Descendants 3

Both Evie and I focus on the isle more as she focuses on the kids and the program while I focus on making sure they are getting enough supplies and getting treated better. Roja and Lucid being my insides on the isle.

I don't have much for Carlos here other than the classic he is protective. When sea 3 join them he makes sure Harry knows I'm taken.

Harry: now that I can visit the isle more openly I go more often. I try to run into him on purpose and he tries to always know when I'm on the isle so he can do the same. As flirty as he always is we are on a good card but I still get "frustrated" when he messes with the VKs. I can't help but think he might pull a Carlos on me once Uma is back. We get closer during the whole thing and the others can see it as we blatantly flirt and banter. When everyone finds out about the barrier closing, he walks away with Uma. I can't even blame him but I'm hurt that Ben kept it from me, Mal agreed, and because I think I've lost Harry.

It's an emotional "forever" goodbye between me and him. Until Mal and Ben's speech when my face lights up at Mal saying the barrier is coming down. I'll let time in my DR reveal when I kiss Harry for the first time but the top 3 moments in my head are. Before he leaves, once the barrier comes down, or at the end of Bring It Down.

There are some things outside of the movie timeline that I scripted but I will leave that for other posts about this DR
