He didn't let a single goal in the entire time he was in net and then they pulled him halfway through to let #33 get time in net and he let in 6 fucking pucks. I have nothing against you Mr. 33, but I so wanted to see how long Matty could go without letting in a goal.
Also just feel like all of you should know that he only let in one puck the entire time he was in net with Utah and it was during the shoot out that they won anyway!
Justice for Matty, he didn't even get a full game, even after the other three got sent back down

Happy first NHL callup to Matt Villalta! 🎉
Tumblr media
21 years old from Kingston, Ont.
Identical twin.
3rd round pick of the Kings in the 2017 draft.
Played three seasons for the Soo Greyhounds of the OHL.
Has played about two seasons for the Ontario Reign of the AHL.
Grew up with Gabe Vilardi. (And happened to be drafted in the same draft as him by the same team.)
Only found out he had been drafted by the Kings when he took a break from fishing and went into his Grandmother's house for a freshly baked cookie while the draft was on and he walked in as the pick had been made.
I know he's only going to be a backup but still...
