Sera loved Christmas. Then again, there wasn't a holiday that she didn't like. She was all about the celebration and party aspect of it all. It all came from her love of having a good time. This year was definitely going to be something different, though. She wasn't going home for the holidays. Her parents had asked her to, but after they cut her off and her whole family giving her a hard time for wanting something different for her life, she had decided to stick to Kismet Harbor for the season. She had decorated the apartment with Waverly and now with the winter festival, she was so excited to look it all over. She had grabbed a few gifts to send out to her family, though, and then some for Waverly and even Mateo. Speaking of who, she spotted as she walked along and smiled at her boss. "Hey. I was starting to think you didn't leave the bar." She teased him a little bit. "It's good to see you on the outside."

@aeternuswords
What even possessed him to say all that? For all he knew, she probably just thought he was an awkward puppy and that what happened at the cabin was just because of the mistletoe. Mateo wasn’t used to talk about his feelings like that, well romantic feelings anyway, so the seconds that passed until Sage spoke again felt like the longest of his life. Then her lips were on his. Okay, maybe there was nothing to worry about after all. He pulled back and smiled. This kiss was even better than the first one. It carried hope and tenderness and if he thought it wasn’t possible to be more in love with her, he’d clearly been mistaken. Mateo still couldn’t believe he’d finally told her after all these years but now he was glad he did. “Yeah”, he finally admitted “so I was very disappointed when my family got there”.

He nodded. "That I was. I hated not working or cooking." Eddie wasn't the type to just sit around and do nothing so the time off was hard even if it was beneficial to his health. His smile increased as they talked about Verity. "She really is." He wouldn't know what he would do without her and he hated he scared her so bad. "Oh, I'm sure. I don't think Roscoe would make it if she left." He chuckled. "I gotta head to meet her, actually but it was good seeing you, Mateo." @mateoxtorres

"It is," he chuckled in agreement. There was no doubt about that. During this time of year, Mateo always made sure to have a cocktail or a few cocktails on the menu that were of the essence of fall. He knew how much people enjoyed them. "Good, good," he nodded his head as Eddie said he had been back to work for a few weeks. "probably more than ready to get back, huh?" Mateo knew he wouldn't survive long without being able to work. "She's a good one," he smiled at the thought of Verity, "kept me in line when I was lettin' her stay with me." Mateo joked, "Sunflower still mopes for a few days after she visits." @eddiexcastro

Campeonato Nacional Rotax Max Challenge 2023

option 2
Sipping on their own juice with serious head nods, Mason was fully engrossed into the clues Mateo -- here was a dude that was taking things seriously! "I once saw an octopus fully escape a fish tank and the whole aquarium too by like camouflage and shit, and it helped other fish escape too it was wicked cool." Mason paused to think if that in an actual documentary or them misremembering Finding Dory which featured an octopus but that was a mystery for later. "Hard agree with prime suspect." Stroking at their beard to say deep thoughts were being thought off Mason pondered on what Mateo said next about the butterflies, points were made and they were no false - butterflies could fly! "Dude, I never thought as butterflies to be mini fairies but you're so right! It was in my face all this time, damn you're smart. What if it was like a raccoons in a trench coat situation? All the mini fairies ganged up to make a big fairy? or..." Mason gasped at the sudden realisation, "Yo, what if it's another cryptid? Like the Moth Man? I always thought that dude to be chill but he could have an evil twin or something."
As ideas bounced into tangent thoughts Mason's mind was reeling with every possibility imaginable. "The fae taken were my friends though, I can't imagine if they were also involved in conspiracies." A beat later Mason gasped again when a different thing popped into their head, "Are worms spineless?"
Open Starter: @lunarcovestarters Option 1: Outside the Police Station
Once the verdict had come in, Anna heaved herself out of the uncomfortable holding cell and collected her belongings from the front. At the door, however, she seriously considered just going back inside. Her sentencing might have been light--she'd been told she 'got off easy'--but she was starting to think she'd prefer to be in jail than face what was coming to her. The version of 'community service' she'd been given was, frankly, humiliating, and that it was for a crime she had not committed was just salt in the wound. There were plenty of things Anna had done that would have resulted in far worse than community service, so it had an ironic sort of sting to think some petty vandalism--that looked it had been done by school children--would be the thing to do her in. She had come to Lunar Cove 50 years ago to stay out of jail. This was the town where she'd gotten to start over, to finally stop running from the demons of her past and the many, many mistakes she had made. But now? The instinct to head straight home, pack a bag, and skip town was nearly overwhelming.
She blinked against the bright sunlight as she stepped out of the station. She'd taken two steps down the street when her purse ripped and her things went scattering across the sidewalk. "God fucking damn it," she hissed, bending to pick up her wallet while a few coins rolled toward the shoe of a passersby.
Option 2: Paradise Juice Counter
"I've been looking into spineless," Mateo was saying, his notebook in one hand and a juice in the other. "And I've got three suspects, right?" He flipped open the notebook--a cardboard, bound notebook shaped like a red couch and made to look like the Handy Dandy Notebook from Blue's Clues. On the first few pages, he'd drawn what were actually very detailed and impressively realistic sketches of invertebrates--though they were all done in brightly colored, glittery gell pens. "We got the octopus. Prime suspect. They're super smart, you know what I'm saying? They can wiggle out of anything! Masters of disguise and sneaking around. Real cool stuff. And they got eight hands so they could have held hella knives to destroy that couch with, right? But then--" he grammatically flipped to the next page. "There's the butterfly. They're small. They're flighty. Like the fae. Maybe they're mini fairies. But I don't know if they could have held that spray paint. their hands would just be real small, you know?"
Mateo passed his 'crime notebook' over to his companion at the table and waited seriously for their input. Ever since he'd spotted the vandalism and been involved in the arrests, he couldn't think of anything else. Of course, his investigation might have gone in slightly the wrong direction, as he was taking the word 'spineless' left on the crime scene a little too literally.

“Bet you weren’t expecting lil ole me.” She laughed as she stood up on her tip toes to hug Mateo. She wasn’t sure if he knew or not but Estelle had always looked up to him ever since he used to babysit her back in the day. For the most part she enjoyed annoying him, vulnerability never quite being one of the woman’s strong suits, even when it came to complimenting those she loved. “Sorry I stole you from one of your pretty lady friends, but not that sorry.”

Ari really should be more careful. More paranoid, more cautious, watching the dark shadows for something that might slink out. But in truth, he wouldn’t even know what to look for, which is perhaps the most frustrating thing. Aside from the normal suspicious behavior of people hanging around dark corners, there’s nothing the human can truly see to distinguish who is a threat to him and who isn’t. And so he attempts to keep his head down, to not be such a noticeably easy target, but that also means not watching as intently where he’s going. They come out of nowhere, the person that steps in front of his path, and Ari nearly walks right into them, catching himself at the last moment. “Sor—” the apology is already half out his lips when his gaze snaps up, and he freezes in place. No. No, not him. ( @mateoaguilars )

WHO: Masha Vetorva & Mateo Reyes, @reyesmateo
WHERE: Rosnovy Medical, 4th floor, left corridor, room 6.
WHEN: July 15th, 21:25.
It’s so easy that she didn’t even have to dress down. Sharp red heels stroe through the sanitised corridors of the hospital with no hesitation. The gun in her pocket didn’t belong in a place of medicine, but the metal detectors at its entrance hadn’t dared to make a sound. (Even if they had, who here was brave enough to deny Masha Vetrova?) The wards were quiet, visiting hours long over for those who had to abide to the locking of doors. But Masha walked through without so much as a hitch. Electronically locked doors, elevators requiring ID - they bent to her will as if under hypnosis. Really, a simple lock would have been more efficient. She wound her way up towards a certain room undetected and undisturbed, she hadn’t even told any of her Angels about this particular visitation. The wrong she’d come to right was, after all, a personal offence.
It had been a busy week (to say the least) and this particular trip was not one she’d anticipated. Even lying wounded though, Francesco and his spies had brought curious whispers to her ears. Whispers about rogue reapers having headed north, retracing the very tracks of those who had ruined her festival. So it seemed it was the underboss, the pet of Faulkner, who’d broken her truce and pulled the trigger, fleeing north - or at least orchestrated it. Well, let the punishment fit the crime. He should have let himself freeze to death whilst he had the chance.
The room which held Mateo Reyes (she’s not surprised he’s here, the Reaper hideout, she now knew, was no warmer than the outside) had guards outside. With one hand she touched the wall, felt the electric veins within it and set an alarm off two floors down. For good measure, she pushed 12 MISSED CALLS - TSAR onto their phones, cut the signal, and watched them scurry away. Pitiful. She walked to the door and pauses, stared through the window at the man, asleep on the bed. A bird with broken wings. She entered silently, radiating unmatched confidence. Really, she didn’t need her gun. There’s numerous machines medicating him, helping him breathe, and each one was instantly under Masha’s control. She coughed lightly, dragged the visitor’s chair across the floor with a purposefully loud, jarring screech and elegantly sat on it, facing the bed. “Mr Reyes,” she started cooly, as soon as his eyes began to flicker, giving him no time to react, “Tell me, do you understand what a truce is? Do you understand the consequences of breaking mine?” The lights of his room quivered around them, as if warning of danger.

[pm] It's been like two years. Well, maybe that's where you and I differ. I don't like being rooted. Besides, the world is wide and beautiful. Why stick in a town as small as this?
[User considers this.] Hm. Irresistible offer. I'll come with, sure. I'll bring a few of my blades, because I know you think those hot. I'd like a good time.
[pm] So you're bored already? I mean, I don't know about you, but I'd get pretty bored and sick of moving around all the time. Maybe just travel?
Look, maybe you should join me for one of my jobs. I can recreate the zamboni kill if I gotta. Blood is pretty hot, you know? Could be a good time.

valentines day @mateovaldcz
The last thing she had expected when she opened her door to leave was to see Mateo standing there. Instantly her eyes drew to the smile on his face, one she had almost forgotten in all those years apart. Years apart that had been caused by him. It was that bittersweet thought that had her hesitating in place. Quinn had been on her way to the town’s Valentines Carnival, ready to set up the event with the dozens and dozens of roses that had been purchased to decorate the event. Though, Valentines was far from something she enjoyed. Or at least, she used to enjoy it. When it was her and Matty against the world. “What are you doing here?”, she asked, smoothing her hair back. Their afternoon in her flower shop, reminding each other of their bodies and the attraction that clearly never went away.

VALENTINE’S DAY ⇻ SATEO.
TAGGING: Summer Rose, Mateo Chávez.
LOCATION: Mateo’s apartment.
TIMEFRAME: 2/14, evening.
WARNINGS: None. Pure fluff.
NOTES: Finished discord para; Mateo finally makes things official on Valentine’s Day.
MATEO CHÀVEZ
Even though today was Mateo’s birthday, he was much more focused on the actual holiday — Valentine’s Day. Now that he’d been talking to Summer for quite sometime, it was no surprise when the two of them made plans for the day. He wouldn’t admit it to Summer, but he’d been putting in extra hours at work just so he’d be able to spend the day with her. As whipped as that made him sound, he didn’t really care too much. Today was the day that he finally fucking made things official. He wanted to spend the night inside with Summer, opting for a romantic homemade meal over a cramped and busy restaurant. He’d spent the day before making sure his apartment was clean, and getting a large amount of flowers and candles to be cliché. He’d made a simple meal of Parmesan chicken, spaghetti and salad because he knew Italian was her favorite. Finally when everything was ready, Summer showed up at the door. Mateo was dressed nicely in a suit, and knew that he was really fucking whipped, but he didn’t care. Summer deserved one night just like this, at least. It was the least he could do after worrying her all the time. He opened the door with a smile, and an assortment of different colored roses in his hands. “Hey, babe,” he grinned.
SUMMER ROSE
Of course Summer Rose would end up basically falling for a guy who not only was a romantic so he loved Valentine's Day... but his birthday just so happened to fall on Valentine's Day. Of course Summer Rose would end up being an overachiever when it came to that. Because, of course, there wasn't already enough pressure to spend Valentine's Day with someone you were seeing but weren't with yet officially - fate just had to give her a little 'fuck you' and throw a birthday in there as well. With Autumn gone, Summer was freaking out a little (a lot) and had no idea what to wear, though ended up wearing a dark red dress that was a perfect fit on her, even with the lingerie she was wearing underneath. What? She was classy and also wanted to get some. Sue her. Even though Summer wanted to cook for him because it was his birthday, Mateo had taken it upon himself to prepare dinner for the two of them; all she had to do was show up. And so, she did... carrying a teddy bear, chocolates and a bottle of their favorite wine. She wasn't going to show up empty handed; she was going to do this right. "Happy Valentine's Day!" she smiled, leaning in to kiss him and when she pulled away, she kept her eyes closed as she took the smell in. It smelled delicious in his apartment. "Smells amazing" she said as she kissed him again, handing him what she'd brought, "I'm excited! "
MATEO CHÀVEZ
As soon as Mateo saw Summer, he couldn’t help but take a step back and take in exactly how gorgeous he was. His first instinct was to rip off all of her clothes and show her exactly how beautiful he thought she was. But not yet. Summer deserved a lot more than that, and Mateo was well aware of that. He grinned and kissed her back, looking at all the things she had brought with you. “Look at this,” he chuckled, taking the teddy bear from her and closing the door behind them. “This is fucking adorable, babe,” Mateo said, kissing her cheek when she noted how amazing it smelled. He wasn’t someone who normally cooked, but he made sure to consistently check with his cousin Valentina to make sure he was doing everything right. “Thanks. And can I just say...” Mateo put his arms on her shoulders and twirled her around, nodding and grinning as he looked at her from head to toe, “that you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever fucking seen?”
SUMMER ROSE
"Look at what it's holding" she said as she motioned to the teddy bear, pointing toward the heart and the M stitched on it, "I got it just for you." And she had. The Rose's barely had money and had always struggled when it came to finances - Summer was still struggling as she tried to balance writing and working at the café, but she made sure to have a little extra for today. The lingerie she was wearing and his small presents had meant a couple of days of overtime, but she knew it would be worth it, especially with the way he was looking at her already. "Stop it" Summer shook her head, refusing to duck away from him, but knowing that she was visibly blushing at his words. "You don't look so bad yourself, mister" she countered as she checked him out, her left brow quirked because, yeah, he definitely cleaned up well. "We can just say we both look great, yeah?" Summer chuckled, not caring that she couldn't help herself and kissed him again, "I'm glad to be spending Valentine's Day - and your birthday! - with you, by the way."
MATEO CHÀVEZ
Mateo understood more than anything that Summer and her family struggled with their finances, and so he knew it meant a great deal that she had gone out of her way just to buy him a few things for Valentine's Day. The fact that it was something personalized meant even more, and it just confirmed what he already knew -- he really needed to make things official with her. There was no way he could imagine Summer with someone else, and that just told him exactly how much he liked her. "Thanks, babe. I mean it. It's all great," he said quietly, kissing her blushing cheeks to make sure she didn't feel embarrassed about blushing in front of him. The two of them sat down to eat and enjoyed the food he had cooked, Mateo constantly asking her if there was anything she needed or if it tasted good. He was just a little bit anxious about his food, yeah. After they ate and he cleaned up, he led her to his living room, smirking when he turned off the lights. There were candles everywhere, and a playlist playing songs quietly. So, yeah. Mateo was a fucking sucker for Valentine's Day. "Imma just tell you now, I haven't really done something like this for anyone before. I've always wanted to, though, so I hope you like it."
SUMMER ROSE
Simply put, most guys really weren't like Mateo. From experience, Summer knew that guys would much rather take the easy route and instead of cooking, would rather pay for a dinner and a movie or whatever other cliché Valentine's Day activity they could think of. But Mateo wasn't like that. Clearly. He'd cooked for her, he'd dressed up for her, he was constantly asking if everything was okay with dinner and whatnot. Truly, Summer appreciated how much Mateo cared about whether or not she was enjoying their Valentine's Day dinner. Not only that, but the set up was extremely romantic. So... yeah. Summer knew for a fact that guys weren't like this. Most guys weren't as thoughtful. Most guys just didn't care. "I appreciate you doing this for me" she replied quietly, nodding when he commented that he hoped she liked it - now he was just being silly. Of course she liked it. In fact, it made her feel a lot more for him. Nobody had done anything quite like this for her. "I love it" she smiled, looking around, grateful that Mateo had done all of this for her. "Why me, though?" Summer might've seemed like the most confident and outgoing of the triplets, but... she still suffered from some insecurities sometimes.
MATEO CHÀVEZ
As soon as Summer asked why me, Mateo couldn't help but frown, not realizing that she had so many insecurities. She was beautiful, loud and always voiced her opinion without fear, and he could've never guessed that she'd be confused as to why someone would do these things for her. "'Cause I don't want anyone else," Mateo told her quietly, hooking his finger underneath her chin and gently tugged on it, forcing her to look at him for a moment. "Wouldn't want to do this for anyone else but you. Look, baby..." Mateo sucked in a deep breath, not really caring that his birthday was all about Summer. In fact, that's all he wanted it to be. Valentine's Day was turning out to be a lot more important than his birthday. He kissed her lips gently and led her to the couch, and turned towards her, taking her hands in her own. With all the girls that he'd been sleeping with, he never took anything to the next level. He always said he was way too fucking busy for a girlfriend, so it was just gonna be all about sex. Damn, was he wrong about that one. "You're fucking beautiful. And hilarious. And headstrong. You know what you want, and that's fucking sexy. I met you 'cause you were bein' crazy, and I love that about you." He chuckled, remembering her without any clothes and when he had gotten the call go to diffuse the situation. "It's taken me awhile, and I'm sorry for that. But, yeah, I'd like to make things official with you and me, if you'd want that with me."
SUMMER ROSE
For all the things that Summer Rose was - confident which borderlined on cocky sometimes, loud, energetic, fun, a wild child - she was also incredibly anxious and insecure about some things. It was crazy to her to know that a guy like Mateo would want to do something like this for her. Sure, she could tell Autumn or Kiara that she deserved something like this, but it wasn't like she actually believed it. But as Mateo spoke, she began to believe that she was worthy of someone spending their birthday trying to make her happy. As crazy as it was, with the way that Mateo was looking at her, Summer knew that he was being honest. As he listed all the things that she was, and made her chuckle along the way as he reminded her just how they met, her blush deepened. He just had to say all the right things, didn't he? Especially as he asked to make things official between them. Of course, in true Summer fashion she had to act as if she was thinking about it, but only for a couple of seconds. "Of course I want that!" she replied with a chuckle, leaning in to kiss him and wrapping her arms around him, brushing their noses gently together as she pulled away. "Took you long enough, mister." she teased him, but kissed him almost immediately as she hoped he knew she didn't hold it against him.
MATEO CHÀVEZ
Even though Mateo knew that Summer was joking about it taking too long, he knew that it had. They'd been spending time together for a few months now, and it was more than clear that they felt something serious for one another. After being hurt by previous relationships, he had somewhat of a wall up and hadn't let anyone past it in quite sometime. Summer smashed the wall in seconds, and ever since then Mateo knew that he wanted to be with her. "You know what, babe?" He started, distracting himself by kissing her a few times, happy that she'd said 'yes'. He was concerned that there was maybe another guy in the picture, but this just solidified that she was only thinking about him. He couldn't help but continue kissing her, deepening the kiss along the lines, forgetting that he was meaning to say something to her. He chuckled and pulled back a little bit, a sheepish grin on his face. "Sorry. Just wanted to kiss my girlfriend." He kissed her cheek and pulled back, a more serious look on his face. "I know it actually did take a long time. Or longer than I wanted. I had some walls put up, and to be honest I was kinda scared to open myself up to you."
SUMMER ROSE
For a while, Summer had felt a little dumb for not playing the field and focusing solely on Mateo, especially since she had no idea if he even wanted something with her or if he was seeing girls on the side. To her, it would've been easy to lie about other girls - he had a busy schedule, and she wasn't the type of girl to check whether or not someone was lying, especially if they weren't official. Funny thing was though, that she was definitely someone who would do that for one of her siblings - she had her people, okay? They knew how to find out information. And yet, she wasn't one to do it for herself, oddly enough. Summer was glad she'd listened to that gut feeling that told her Mateo wasn't sleeping around and that she was the only girl he'd been seeing because that moment had led to this. "I get that" she replied seriously, nodding because she understood that letting your walls down for someone took guts and courage. It wasn't an easy thing to do. "I've been scared to do it for a while too. I know guys aren't like my sister's... husband" she said the word between gritted teeth; she still hadn't told Mateo everything and especially not about her scar, "but I was just scared too. I was scared to be as unlucky as the Rose's usually tend to be. But I'm willing to open up to you too. I promise I will."
MATEO CHÀVEZ
At Summer's words, all Mateo wanted to was wrap his arms around her and shield her from the world. He did what he could and held out his arms, waiting for her to get closer before pulling her close to his chest and holding her tight. The Rose family seemed to have shit luck, and it almost broke his damn heart to know that she was worried it would happen to her too. Mateo didn't know much about their situation, but it was obvious Millie didn't have a husband and that her sister was a single mother. Guys fucking sucked. "I'm sorry, babe. I'm sorry that your family has shitty luck." He kissed her hair, holding her close for a moment longer before pulling away, and giving her a look. "I wanna break that cycle. And that doesn't just include you. I wanna make sure I make all of the Rose girls happy, yeah? You just gotta tell me what to do." Mateo understood that with a girl like Summer, family was the most important thing to her. Luckily enough, he was just as close with his brother and his mom so he completely understood it. He kissed her again, letting it linger for a moment and then pulled away. "We've done everything that I had planned. Was there anything you wanted to do, baby? I'm not trying to act like I'm in charge here, or anything."
SUMMER ROSE
Guys really weren't like Mateo, and Summer was slowly realizing that she was pretty lucky that a guy like him wanted to be with someone like her. Not only did he want to make her happy, he wanted to make her family happy. Because of their hardships - really, literally every one of them had gone through something - the Rose's were all incredibly close, always putting the others first before everybody else. The fact that Mateo understood that and made sure to let her know that he wasn't just thinking about her? Well, that meant the world to Summer. Family came first. Though then again, she could tell that Mateo was close to his family; perhaps he understood her better than she thought. "You're amazing" she replied quietly and simply, knowing that there actually would be a time when she would need his support - the Rose's never seemed to be able to catch a break. When he asked if there was anything she wanted to do, she couldn't help but smirk and wink at him, though she kissed him and murmured a 'later' against his lips. For now, she wanted to continue being a cliché - not that she cared about that, anyway. "How much would you hate me if I said I wanted to watch a Nicholas Sparks movie?"

Kara was a little skeptically when Mateo called her and asked her to meet him. It was weird and definitely not something she expected but she also wanted to meet him, to ask about his relationship with Matt and to find out more about Matt that Matt never really told her. Meeting at the bar like she agreed, Kara fixed her dress and approached Mateo who she spotted sitting by the bar. “Hi, I didn’t expect you to be messaging me. How... are you?” x x

during her time at captivity, mateo made sure to train her body to respond at his every touch. she had been strong in the beginning, fighting him off every chance she could, but with the amount of times he fucked her, it was only a matter of time till he broke her down. despite her constant denial, he knew her body betrayed her. she was already sopping wet before he even touched her. no need for foreplay with how sloppy her cunt got for him. large hand massaged at her perky breasts, while his lips pressed open and wet kisses along her neck and shoulder. "can you imagine what your family is thinking right now? seeing your pussy grow wetter with every touch of my cock." he let out a deep chuckle, almost taunting her. like he always was. the hand on her breasts travelled to cup her face. forcing her to look back at him. "you want daddy's cock in your messy hole, don't you baby?" he questioned in a louder voice so it was clear to their viewers. he licked at the seam of her lips before adding, "and don't lie. you know i always know when you lie."
she shouldn't believe him but a part of her doesn't want to believe that someone could be this terrible. she had grown up sheltered and naive to the worst horrors of the world. outside of books and movies, meghan's life was very boring up until now. mateo is right too. even if she knows her chances of escape are all but nothing, her family must still be desperately hoping for it and she hates the idea of letting them down. another raw sob comes out as he positions her in front of the camera, so she's even more exposed if that was even possible. there is no way to hide even the smallest reaction and when he taps his length against her slit, the camera can catch a perfect shot of her cunt clenching pathetically around nothing. in a few short days he had managed to train her body react desperately to him, like a craving she couldn't quite satiate. her mind didn't want this but her body felt attuned to his and the slap of his cock against her begins to sound sloppier as she gets wetter. her eyes close in humiliation and her cheeks are burning as more tears slip down her face and meghan tries to focus. maybe... maybe she can do this?
