I love when people who are already far along in Elsword look at me theorizing while being like ten regions behind in the lore, because they know if I’m right or wrong and I must be entertaining to them because they just look at me with their hands folded like “yesss, yesss” tapping their fingers together like an evil mastermind.

The whole reason I’m so dead set on getting caught up now is because Barkat is officially involved and I’ve been anticipating her since I first picked up Lu and Ciel and got hooked like an addict.

Hi. Could you share us your headcanons of Dominator/Mastermind personality?

Sure! As Mastermind, he has a strong work ethic that sometimes comes at the expense of his health. It’s common to find bags under his eyes from doing all-nighters on the newest project. His preferred foods are sandwiches and riceballs because he can eat them with one hand while reading a book. Mastermind’s cooking skills are a work in progress as he always struggles to cook without recipes. His motivation in learning how to cook and bake is out of the desire to take care of himself without relying on others and making as many sweets as he wants. However, traveling with the El Search Party has led to him reluctantly admitting that traveling in big numbers had its uses. Mastermind started baking as a hobby after Ciel caught him stealing cookies and insisted on having the scientist help him in baking more.  

Once Mastermind finds something of interest, he will invest hours of research to see if it is of use to him. He likes to think of himself as pragmatic and logical, although there are moments of vulnerability that makes him feel exposed. Mastermind complains about the El Search Party being too nosy and trying to get into his business but always follows them out of the fear of being alone again. As Dominator, he’s less reluctant to say he has some form of attachment to the party that took him in. He particularly finds Elsword to be strange in trusting him but amusing to talk to. The scientist takes pride in the arm he helped build for Furious Blade, who came to him for advice on how to optimize it.

Aside from research and baking, Dominator likes cute things and has a collection of cute gifts given to him by the El Search Party. Apocalypse was designed with the personality of a cat and a pair of ears to match. He claims it was meant to be modeled after the apex predator side of cats, but the destructive cube is often found following its master around the lab like a kitten.
