Hypothetically: would Gallifrey attempt to use me as a way to get to my Time Lord if my Time Lord happened to be a wanted renegade and would they even be able to find me to do that?

What technology can the Celestial Intervention Agency use to track someone?

Gallifrey and the Celestial Intervention Agency (CIA) have some advanced and, frankly, intimidating technology at their disposal for tracking individuals, especially if they are interested in someone as a means to get to a renegade Time Lord. Keep in mind the below information is limited due to classified information.

🔍 Tracking Methods

Artron Energy Signatures: Every sapient being leaves a unique trail of artron energy, which can be tracked across time and space. That includes Your Time Lord, their TARDIS, and you.

Tracking Devices: Devices can be planted or set to emit signals that are easily tracked. Some will be so tiny you won't even notice them being put on you.

Psychic Tracers: The CIA can potentially trace psychic imprints left by Time Lords and those they interact with. Yes, that's you again.

Matrix Surveillance: The Matrix contains detailed records and can predict movements based on historical data with predictive modelling.

Biodata Alterations: Biodata alterations are also very trackable.

Agent Pursuit: The CIA employs agents who are capable of passing off that they're your mother.

🕵️ Would They Use You to Get to a Renegade Time Lord?

Absolutely. Gallifrey is highly strategic and doesn’t hesitate to use any means necessary to achieve its goals, especially when dealing with a renegade Time Lord.

Gallifreyan technology is notoriously difficult to evade, and if your Time Lord is a wanted renegade, any interaction with them could lead the CIA straight to you. Remember, the glory of Rassilon is at stake!

spider-man didnt even get a whole lot of spider related powers from the spider bite. like theres the wallcrawling of course but beyond that he got enhanced speed/agility and enhanced strength (and the knowledge needed to perform gymnastics [joke]) which are like the basic shit every super character has. and the webbing isnt even a super power its a gadget. which like i like that he has a mix of powers and gadgets but its really funny that only two of his things are really spider related (spider tracer being shaped like a spider does NOT count) and one of them isnt even from the magic spider that bit him. and also hes psychic for some reason

Hi! I would love to hear about the general "power rules" of the Eriverse! (Since there's gonna be more in the canon soon so..)

Eh, it's a soft magic based world. Where things can happen or not depending on plot for the most part.

Obviously there are limitations, but that is more based on the specific power than of the whole universe. So like some powers get exceptions to the rules compared to others that are much more restricted or something.

Mostly the world is based off of NSR individual powers. So instead of taking the "world runs off of music" from NSR, it places much more focus on the individual and their specific powers.

There's also like no "magic magic" type of powers. Like you can't just wave a wand around and create cake out of nowhere or change another person into a chicken or something.

For the most part, powers have to come from a person and only affects that person themself and then a little bit of the world around them. Think of like Miles being able to turn invisible or Tatiana using time manipulation to teleport.

There are obvious exceptions to this, such as Tatiana (and psychics) being able to make time spheres that slow down time, but it's not an overpowered spell that can just be tossed around or completely freeze someone.

Which also has it's own exception in the case of Matvey, but you'll notice each exception creates a smaller group of people that can do that exception. So anyone with time manipulation powers has ability over their own time (Tracer Overwatch, the Felt Homestuck, Tatiana NSR). Then there are exceptions that allow a smaller group to use their powers to interact with the world around them because they are stronger users (Tatiana and Matvey NSR, Raz and Helmut Psychonauts). Then there are even fewer who can hold a direct grip on others with their powers that is mostly inescapable (Matvey NSR).

Really the magic system is kinda like an upside down triangle where we start off in a broad and vague way that gets more specific but less populated as you go down the powerline.

The weaker you are, the more people will share your powerset as well as the less you can manipulate the world and others around you. The stronger you are, the less people have your specific power (even if it's just an offshoot of a main power) and the more you can influence the world around you as well as others.

It's supposed to be a very flexible type of system. The powers themself have their own rules but I'm still working on that. I don't want something like Dragon Ball where you can just fly and shoot lasers and stuff. I want powers to come from within and be more of a natural power of the world. This is probably why I ended up adding elementals to the world.

It's really a combination of NSR's element and personal powers, combined with HiFi Rush technology powers/advancements, and Psychonauts ability to mess with the world and mind.

This is absolutely not gonna help, but for the most part, my main goal is to have very little OP powers out there. Only some people get those (Matvey and Satoru and blue's family being some of them) kinds of powers.

You can get some basic powers, but that is through music, passion, fans, stuff like that. They aren't permanent powers like ones you are born with, but you are still able to gain powers (or synthesize powers through technology, which by itself could conform to a new power ruleset to come in the future).

This is honestly a mess, but the whole point is that the natural magic of the world is ever changing. You are supposed to flow with nature and stuff, not try to control it or keep it stagnant. It's how new powers grow and start to form (such as technomancy and biotech gaining basically becoming part of nature as the story goes on).

I'm positive there are some contradictions to what I've said, but mainly I want unique-ish powers, powers that are more internal than external, and overpowered sets like Goku or Superman to be not there at all or at a very minimal use.

Hope that kinda makes sense. As of right now that is what I have. It's hard to make a cohesive hard magic system when you have things like psychics, half-aliens, cyborgs, plant people, and possibly now curses/demons and time traveling alien trolls.

It's why I stick to a more flexible soft magic system that is based primarily in NSR, Psychonauts, and Hi Fi Rush logic (leaning more heavily towards NSR).

The natural powers at play are always changing and conforming to the times (it's how robots started getting sentience and technomancy started showing up), so adding parts of JJK and HS will either expand the magical world or conform those new media into the 3 major media I am basing the magic off of (basically what I have been doing with JJK might be how I handle HS, by changing the source material to fit the Eriverse, instead of expanding the Eriverse to add the source material like with Psychonauts).

PT and AT are less shy about holding hands and kissing now. if AT reaches for PT's hand, PT will take his hand into his. if PT nudges AT and leans in, AT will meet him halfway.

it's like this that they find themselves cuddling on a couch, enjoying each other's presence.

they're each doing their respective thing: AT is zoned in on notes from the other night and PT is fiddling with a protoype Apocalypse cube.

but AT is so deep into his notes, he doesn't catch PT's eyes, or that he's nudging him, or any other signs.

so PT pouts.

"arc," he drawls AT's name like a child.

"psych?" AT responds, blinks, looking PT's way for half a second before returning to his notes.

PT is not amused, "arc, c'mooon, ya said you'd be done like thirty minutes ago."

"mmh, is it thirty minutes?"

"arc," PT whines way too loudly, "it's almost been an hour!" and when AT gives a noncommittal hum, hardly any acknowledgment, PT's leg begins to bounce impatiently as he turns from AT. then stops, & coolly rises, "'m gonna find TTr then-"

PT doesn't get to finish that sentence.

PT blinks, wondering when gravity flipped, and realized after blinking that gravity didn't flip but some bratty tracer has pulled him down back to the couch. he blinks again and finds AT hovering over him, looking incredulous at him.

"you'll do no such thing," AT says simply.

PT would be embarrassed, from their positions alone, but he's too annoyed, "well wha was i suppos' ta do with you ignoring me!"

"i was not ignoring you! i said i'd almost be done and-" AT goes into a spiel about his research & any other time PT would be interested but he's not.

PT's more interested in AT's mouth, those soft lips he felt some hours ago and doesn't realize he's flushed until AT finally stops talking.

"p-psych… ?" he says cautiously, like he already knows where PT's mind is.

PT gasps, "w-what? i wasn't-" but he was.

AT, now equally embarrassed, sits back on PT's legs and also realizes their position, "p-psych--stop moving!"

"'m not!!!"

"you-!" and the PT can't help himself any longer and grips AT's wrist to tug him down for a kiss, hardly chaste at all with the sound AT makes after.

"you--stop it this inst--!"

and AT and PT do both stop when they realize it wasn’t either of them. AT looks as if it's the perfect chance to escape.

but a hand guides AT back to PT and PT is smiling apologetically at AT. "'m sorry. probably went too far, huh? let's find TTr together, 'kay?"

AT fights back his blush and nods at PT. and instead of replying, he wordlessly pecks PT's cheek sweetly, and walk off together.

MM's face is buried against LP's chest. he refuses to look at LP, but it's not like he has much choice with LP caging him against a wall in the other room. "you really have no shame," MM angry-whispers. LP chuckles & MM can feel the rumble of his chest.

"they're gone now."

"and that makes it any better!?" & now MM raises his voice, glaring angrily up at LP. "really, i can't believe you. why can't you be more like PT-"

LP tips MM'S chin with a gloved hand and leans in, not quite a kiss, just a feather light of touch ghosting against lips, "sorry."

and all MM can do is gasp soundlessly as he feels LP brush his cheek with the back of his knuckles, too tender. "you know," MM starts, "i'd almost believe you," and he brushes his knee between LP's legs "if you weren’t so hard."

and the aborted moan LP chokes back is sweet revenge, music to MM's ears.

"'why can't you be more like AT?'" LP taunts back, voice gruff as he rolls his hips back against MM's.

between heated kisses, MM isn't sure who's making the soft gasps or low moans anymore.

they're both disinterested in any more familiar banter, instead letting their bodies go back and forth between each other. and this too is just as familiar.

PT joins LP on the couch, same Apocalypse protype in hand.

"MM's gonna realize you still have that," LP starts.

"you know he's tired of you, AT, and TTr poking in his lab."

PT keeps toying with the cube, pouts, "'m gonna return it. just borrowin' it."

LP's only response is to ruffle PT's hair fondly. he watches PT stand, presumably to return MM's prototype.

"psyker?"

"hmm?"

"maybe… next time take yer own advice?"

LP doesn't get to reply as PT scampers off, snickering as he does so. LP can’t help but laugh too.
