Hello after a long time :) Even though I was working hard, I wasn't posting here. I hope there will be more, let this post be a step.

An update: I started my master's degree in neuroscience :'

I meant to begin my journey into thesis researching earlier in the week, but as expected, the transition from summer vacation to work mindset hasn't been the easiest.

With that being said, I met with my supervisor last month to better determine my thesis research topic, plus some guidelines on how to start. It was a very helpful meeting, and thus today I began researching the aspects we mentioned. Next up I will have to look into case-law, which is probably my favorite part of law research.

I ended up deciding to do research on copyright duration, so that's what I shall focus on for the next months as I go through this journey. I'm feeling some insecurities on whether I'll be able to write a good master thesis, but I'm excited to be able to explore Copyright Law on a deeper level with this--it's my favorite kind of law.

Featured in the photos are the music that kept me company during my work session, as well as my current read, Malice by John Gwynne. I'm still only 84 pages into it, which isn't a lot for a 600+ page book, but I’m enjoying my time with it. Adult Fantasy is truly something else.

My first post after a long time💫

One of my goals for this year is to continue to post regularly. Firstly, I want to talk about my experiences in 2024. I'm accepted to architectural restoration master program.  I moved to another city for this program. Rightnow I take English preparatory lessons. It was a nice and successful fall term. I'll take English lessons in the spring semester, too. Next year my department courses will start. I hope this year will be the most beautiful, productive, peaceful and healthy 🥰

Day 1 of preparing for my Master's degree!

I'm starting my Master's next month, so I'm finally starting to prepare. I'm visiting my parents at the moment so I took the opportunity to do some studying at my high school favourite cafe :) Today, I:

Started thinking of dissertation topics - there's one I'm really excited for but I need to do a lot of further reading and thinking before committing to it!;

Read an article from a list of introductory readings for one of my modules;

Finally sent a few emails I've been putting off sending for a month now.

I'll be honest, my brain isn't working too well today - I only got 3 hours of sleep because I caught an early flight this morning.

When typing the date for this entry, I accidentally wrote 2025. Let’s hold off on that, shall we? 😅

It’s finally October, the best month of the year. I’m super excited about all the spooky books and movies, Halloween too. In the meantime, however, I’ve been trying to soak in as much sunlight as possible, so today I went on a run and walked by the park.

I also worked on reading some papers pertinent to my thesis. Slowly but surely we’ll get there. I’m hoping to have written my first chapter by the end of November.

How do you express loneliness?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently writing my master’s thesis in social work on the topic of loneliness. After already having written a bachelor's thesis on loneliness during the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown using a questionnaire as a research tool, my thesis supervisor and I came to the conclusion to stay on the same topic but handle it with a different approach.

Everyone has had experiences with loneliness in their life. No matter if they felt lonely themselves or heard about it, seen it on TV or read about it. Within my master’s thesis I want to explore the different ways people express loneliness. The research question of the master's thesis is therefore: "How do you express loneliness?".

My idea was to base the research on submissions. Within the submissions everything is possible, no matter if it is textual or written, artistic, videos, songs, photography or anything else that might help contextualize loneliness. (Examples could be: poems, texts, essays, haikus, lyrics, paintings, drawings, collages, videos, songs, photos etc.)

the force is drawing them together, and has been long before ezra and kanan ever laid eyes on each other. because kanan tells hera later that even before they knew ezra, they were drawn to lothal. that no matter what happens, they always end up back on lothal.

like kanan was meant to go there. like he was meant to find ezra, in the same way that he found depa.
