When homework, classes and taking in the local sights weren't taking up his time, Tristen made sure to practice for the soccer team. He didn't have aspirations of being a team lead or anything, but he didn't want to let his team down either.

Part of Tristen's program while he studied abroad was the scholarship he got to be on the local soccer team. While he'd been a football player in high school, soccer seemed to come naturally.

The night before semester started, Tristen could barely sleep. He was so excited about starting college and his study abroad that he couldn't keep his mind from racing.

Kalamainu'u spent the day with Tristen, taking him to the local hotspots she knew and even came over to his home to give it a local blessing while he lived here.

For lunch, Tristen tried out the local diner. He had some delicious homemade chowder, vegetarian of course.

One good thing about the rental house he was staying at was that it had it's own workout equipment. So days like today when it was raining outside and he couldn't run on the beach, he could just stay inside.

Tristen made sure to keep in close contact with Cassidy. They were going to try this long distance relationship thing, though he had his doubts that they were going to make it work.
