What is your OC's fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?

Martino's fatal flaw is best described as love. He cares about being with the people he loves (Giacomo specifically) more than any consequences it might have for him or the world around him. (His fatal flaw could probably more accurately be called "Giacomo's whole existence'). He's aware of it but isn't super invested in changing it.

Niccolo's fatal flaw is vanity--he's desperate to control the way he's perceived and spends incredible amounts of time on image and perception. He's got no idea about this, he just thinks he's fastidious.

What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

Martino's sort of been stable since he came into being--the takes no shit adult in the room, who gives good advice to the younger generation and has dangerous weapons that he just gives out.

Niccolo used to be a lot more of a villain--a predecessor to Basilio in the same way Enrico's a predecessor to Nova. Eventually I fell in love with the idea of him and Enrico together and he became technically a good guy, but retained a lot of his villain qualities.

If you met your OC, would the two of you get along?

Martino and I would sit in a nice silence, cause neither of us talk that much, and honestly I'd probably just be in awe of Niccolo

Hi!! Not really an ask but I didn't know if you'd be okay with me dming you so i thought i'd send you these here!! I thought you would appreciate the sheer fucking SCALE of the main stemma compared to the others surrounding it!

+ I enhanced the colouring on the pic a little because it was kinda washed out in the lighting when I initially took it, I just didn't have the energy to do that before posting last time whoops

Anyway i hope you enjoy! I actually have a few more that I think you'd appreciate, though most aren't actually renaissance art, they are *chef's kiss*

This is the 'Monument to Marchese Spinetti Malaspina', who was a condottiere who died in 1407! It was made by Antonio da Firenze, Pietro Di Niccolo and Giovanni De Martino Da Fiesole and was originally made in Verona ca. 1430-1435.

This is 'The Sleep of Sorrow and the Dream of Joy' by Raffaelle Monti, made in 1861 (so obvi no renaissance). I just find her absolutely beautiful though - it's widely considered a comment on Italian politics at the time; a say on the resurrection of cultural unity in the country as it was proclaimed a kingdom on the 17th of March in 1861.

This is 'Diana Hunting' by Giovanni Maria Benzoni, made in 1859, and was adapted from the 4th century B.C. marble statue known as the Diane de Versailles which is situated in the Louvre. Personally I'm just a big fan of how he's managed to sculpt the flowing tunic, an art the Greeks mastered, but hasn't been lost (thankfully) even centuries later.

Finally here's some pics from the statue hall at the Victoria and Albert museum - most of these are copies but it's still very pleasing to admire. Trajan's Columns are the big ol' ones in the first pic, and any renaissance lover will recognise David in the second pic. I hope to visit Florence one day and see him in person <3

Even if it isn’t Renaissance art, I AM a very big fan of art and art history! (Perhaps one day I’ll get around to posting all of the works of art I got to see in New York a little over a year ago now!)

I was in Europe last December to see and spend time with my Fiancé, and it’s a dream of mine to be able to go back and do a tour of art and historical museums in a multitude of countries. 🥹✨💕

Totally out of nowhere:

I know you only watched the og skam and only liked isak, even and sana. Same.

Could you take a look at the Italian one and tell me what you think about the chemistry of the mains?

If you don't want to take a look at all of them, which I would understand, just the evak equivalent because they disappointed me so much

I actually did watch some clips of SKAM Italia before because anons wanted me to, and I didn't see many clips of Niccolo and Martino because YouTube mostly has edits but from what I had seen, I was underwhelmed. They weren't awkward or stiff but they weren't remarkable, there was nothing wrong with them but they weren't palpable, they kind of reminded me of how I felt about Noora and William in original SKAM where I was just like ... OK.

and then for Edoardo and Eleanora:

I watched a few scenes of them on YT and I agree that they don’t have palpable chemistry and they can sometimes feel awkward and yet I didn’t hate watching them? I’m guessing they’re supposed to be a version of Noora and William who for some reason I want to call Christian and I would rather watch them than Noora and William.

And I just now realize I prefer watching them because Edoardo is more charismatic.

The Evens and Their Drawing/Art Style

I wanted to make something that showed how each version of Even has a different drawing/art style. I know that most people do not use one style exclusively, this is just the one they use most often/is most often shown by their instagrams and the art wall in the evens' houses. I am not an art major so if something is not the right word to describe the style, let me know in comments.

Even

Made some films like the Vladimir Putin and captin america film and his Isak video.

He made little sketches for Isak.

Niccolò

He draws and plays piano. He composed melanconia (melancholy)(at least I think he did, it was created by rocco).

Art style: Comic

Eliott

Wants to be a director and made lux and obscurus. I think he is supposed to be in film school.

Art style: doodles (?)

This what he has on his Instagram and gives to Lucas. Is defiantly more into films. I think he made the story board for polaris and that style is more realistic but his Instagram has more doodle type stuff.

Joana

She is shown to be drawing mostly comic style a few time, in class, on the napkin during her date with Cris.

The fact that all the Evak remakes and their scenes+music+draws+everything they do live rent free in my mind and they don't let me do my uni work is actually messing me up.

I love Skam Italia boy squad. It is my favorite so far. I haven't watched all the versions yet but I'll get there.

Anyway in Skam Italia I love the relationship they all have, not only Gio and Martino. I mean can we talk about Gio and Elia that understand each other's thoughts just with one fucking look? I mean that's mind blowing.

But I also love how everyone is different.

Gio is the person who understands everything but won't say anything and will just wait for his friends to come and talk to him when they feel ready while still trying to cheer them up and reassure them while Elia is the opposite. He understands everything but won't take his friends' bullshit without commenting. He will just let them know that he knows they aren't saying the truth and will get a bit frustrated about it but will be ready to forgive them as soon as the argument is over. Martino is the messy one. He cares deeply for his friends but he is so lost in his own troubles that he can't help them but when he's fine, he is always there to support his friends. Last but not least there is our desperate Luchino who doesn't understand anything but is still incredibly supportive of his friends and couldn't hate any of them, doesn't matter what they do.

Niccolò just fits in so well and like they accepted him right away with no problem. I'm so soft!

I just love them so much and I want more of them. So I'm waiting for a season on Elia.
