Had a silly idea earlier of a writing project where it’s a typical “person falls into fantasy world and turns out to be the chosen one” story but instead of one guy it’s like, a whole hema group

20 people with training swords and shields and polearms and shit go out into the woods for some big group fighting event and eventually wander far enough that suddenly they’re now surrounded by guards using actual magic and real swords asking how the fuck they got there

They’re all dysfunctional as hell, do NOT want to follow this prophecy, won’t integrate with this army they’re supposed to be helping, and are all just really, really excited to be using actual sharps. Half of them are still wearing their painted fencing masks

Finally finished! It probably still has a ton of mistakes, but I’m happy with it.

It’s a training fight: Blade versus Palladium and Avalon in a 1v2 match. The setting is the sandbox from my book in front of Alfea. Blade is in her Winx form, Palladium wields his lightsword and plasmasphere spell, and Avalon is dressed in his white jade training robes (without the plate armour) and uses his martial arts and ice magic.
