while it's not a classical astrological belief in any system to my knowledge, i think mars really likes to be in leo and is less malefic here than in some other locations. while we may require/seek more attention this way, we also have so much capacity to put leo's heartful generosity into action and use our talents however we see fit, which is hopefully for the forces of good. there will be a retrograde of mars before long which will eventually take it back into cancer for a while, but for now, mars is here until early january.
