Fanfic Idea! (ABO Lucemond, Hair Care)

Lucerys is obsessed with Aemond's hair. It always looked impeccable, so straight and clean, and it shone wonderfully under the sun. Even when they were kids, Lucerys always found a reason to touch his hair. Sometimes he doesn't have a reason, he would just reach forward and touch it, marvelling at the softness, at how his fingers easily ran through it. Yes, Lucerys very much loved Aemond's hair.

Which was why when he returned from the Stepstones with his luscious hair all cut, he almost had a heart attack. Whilst he helped his husband in the bath, he decided to wash his lost love. He lathered up his hands with soap before massaging his head and petting what was left of the hair, mournfully wishing for his long beautiful hair back. Aemond was amused, asking if he was truly mourning for hair of all things, and Lucerys just continued petting the hair on Aemond's head, looking extremely disappointed each time his fingers combed through what was left of it.

"Couldn't you have left a bit more? Maybe just above the shoulders at least?"

Aemond huffed, amused. "I'll be sure to make a note of it next time, husband."

A bit happier with the answer, he washed and dried the hair, putting oils so it would grow soft and smooth for himself to play with.

Aemond is beginning to like his husband's curly locks. He hated it, long before. Dark brown hair that curls around his fingers, how very un-Valyrian-like, it was like the most obvious sign that screamed "bastard", no matter how Rhaenyra and their father denies it.

Then they were engaged, and he watched, annoyed, as Lucerys takes a long time to fix his monstrosity of a hair in the morning, often giving up half way. It was nightmarishly tangled, like a bird decided to rest on top of his head, building a nest with his hair and abandoning the messy thing in the morning. Still, to ensure that they wouldn't be late, and to ensure that they would have a good image, he decided to help his little husband with his morning problems.

It was a bit hard, at first. He is unused to combing curls, and pulling the brush straight down was most decidedly not what he was supposed to do, if the tears coming from his husband's eyes and the yelp leaving his lips meant anything. He tried to be as gentle as he could, starting from the bottom before combing the top, gently de-tangling it and fixing it with oils. It soon became a daily routine, with Lucerys saying the servants couldn't do it properly. So Aemond had to wake up earlier to train and bathe before returning to their chambers where Lucerys would wake, just so he would help with his hair. And Lucerys, the little spoiled brat, enjoys it.

Soon, Aemond found some comfort fixing Lucerys' hair, which was why he was pleased with how much it grew while he was away. His poor husband doesn't find much joy in it's length as he does, though. Their children have a tendency to pull on anything, and Lucerys' poor hair suffered the most because of that. And it was up to Aemond to fix his hair again, braiding it, tying it up, making sure they're safe from grubby toddler hands in an effort to make sure Lucerys wouldn't feel the need to cut it off.

wrote a whole post and lost it so this will be the abridged version but has anyone ever written an au where shannon has a hot mamma mia summer and hooks up with buck and eddie and then oh noooo she's pregnantttt so she tells them both and they all decide to like be friends and just get a paternity test after the baby is born. but then shannon has like a rough labor and chris is in the NICU so they just forget about it for the immediate future they're like okay that doesn't even matter they just focus on shannon's recovery and getting chris healthy.

and suddenly chris is four months old and technically buck has his own little shithole apartment with four roommates while eddie and shannon are dating and living together but in practicality eddie and shannon barely spend any time together and buck stays over on the couch all the time and he and eddie have become Buck And Eddie and they both love little baby chris so much that they don't really Want to do the paternity test anymore because once that happens their little bro parenting arrangement will fall apart and one of them will have no claim to their beautiful baby boy...

meanwhile shannon has never been more stressed in her fucking life and she wants out. everyone keeps saying that it'll get easier and she sees buck and eddie both settling into parenthood and enjoying it but she just feels like she's in a cell and the walls are closing in. at the moment she's the only one on the birth certificate and she's acutely aware that buck and eddie could both just dip if they wanted to but she can't. so she starts pushing the paternity test issue and they both keep making stupid ass excuses to put it off and her and eddie's relationship is a fucking mess and she wants OUT.

so finally she's fed up with it and she goes and has the test done without telling them. and when she gets the results back she updates chris's birth certificate and she knows that she should tell them but well. now that she's faced with having to tell the guy who's dedicated his entire life to christopher for the past six months that actually he doesn't need to be here. she thinks she understands why they didn't want to get it done. and now that eddie's name is on the paper next to hers she thought that the anxiety and the trapped feeling would let up but it doesn't. if anything it makes her feet itch more. and she tells herself well eddie can do anything he needs legally. and buck will probably stick around and help even though he's not the father. so they don't really NEED her christopher will be fine and buck will have an excuse to stay and she and eddie won't have to keep playing pretend.

so eddie wakes up the next morning to a crying baby, an empty bed, and a fresh legal document with his name on it.

I just finished writing the script + outline for my new multi-part comic and I'm in shambles. I'm never making something this sappy and vulnerable ever again. I am melting into my cringe era. I'm way too old to be writing stories about colorful Trolls becoming parents. GOD. AGH!!!! SAVE ME BROPPY SAVE ME!!!!!

(FR though I'm excited about it and I can't wait to move onto drawing this out. Drawing Trolls is my therapy LMFAO)

I'm gonna make this my weekend project. Probably.
