Friendship at first sight. When Mav ended up at the hospital because of his shenanigans, he got lectured by Dr. Mother Goose every. single. time.

At some point, the good doctor got to listen to a loopy Mav's impassioned speeches about a blonde ice cube.

He met said blonde pilot who once came to visit Mav with flowers.

Well, he was pushed into Mav's room, rather rudely, by his giant of a RIO.

"Huh. Blonde Ice Cube, I presume?"

"It's Mister Iceman to you doctor!"

"Oh. And you are?"

"Free for a coffee right now. I think it best to leave these two alone."

Thia is how Doctor Mother Goose met Hulking Guy. Instant meet-cute.

Many years later, his son Bradley became a doctor. Chief Dr Bradshaw loved to dump his idiot best friend into Dr Bradshaw's care.

"What did you do AGAIN, Mav?!".

Then Mav tried to justify himself but it's hard to resist Baby Goose's sad brown eyes. So, he always tried to be on his best behaviour. Only for his favourite godson though.

Of course one of Mav's precious Daggers had to be hospitalised because of a training accident.

Jake "Hangman" Seresin thought for a moment the accident was way more serious 'cause wasn't he seeing double?

"Wow. Are there two Dr. Mc Steamy & Dreamy Moustache? Wow. Lucky me. Coyote. Do you see that?! Wow. Do you do house visits in case I have a problem later? Yes or Yes?"

"OMG. Don't flirt with my father!"

"But you don't mind my flirting with you, I hope?"

"Nope. He doesn't mind. And he's single."

"OMG. DAD. Don't pimp me?!"

"Ah. You do your best Navy fighter pilot a great service. Much appreciated Older Dr Sexy."

Top gun 50s/early 60s AU but it's also a boarding school AU.

There's a separate boys and girls school but they kind of interlink, they do dances together and stuff so think like the two schools in Heartstopper and how they're close by and do social stuff together

Carole is a scholarship student, she's a bookworm who has those big glasses and a gap toothed smile. Her roommate is Penny, a nepotism baby with a dad who got offered the role of an Admiral after his excellence as a Captain in The War, she's very sporty and more butch, or as much as she can be in the late 50s/early 60s, as she has 4 brothers.

Carole's friends with the other scholarship kid, Charlotte Blackwood, who's detemined to make it into college even if her parents really don't think that's a woman's place. She's got a weekend job in town and saves all her money up for fancy clothes, bright red lipstick, satin dresses with fur trims and does her hair like Marilyn Monroe. Her roommate is one, Elizabeth Corday, a british student who just wants to be a surgeon like her dad

In the boy's school we have Nick Bradshaw and his cousin, Mark Greene, both kids with dad's in the military. Goose is called that for how he sneaked a goose into the girls dorms during a prank war.

He's best friends with Pete Mitchell, sent to the school by an aunt who just wants him out of the way like everyone. Last year he dormed with goose but this year, let's say their junior year so 16-17, he's been paired with Tom Kazansky, determined to be an Admiral just like his dad.

But Goose realises he not only likes rock and roll, learning to play a lot of songs on the piano much to the teacher's dismay, but also boys. One boy in particular, the Captain of the Football team, Ron Kerner

Ron's a scholarship kid too, he's serious about getting out of his shitty life any way possible and does not have time for dating

Goose goes to the school library with his friend Carole, and finds out that she has a crush on her roommate Penny and, to make it even more taboo for them, her friend Charlie as well

And when his cousin Mark makes the assumption that he's dating her, he gets the brilliant idea to fake their relationship, try to set up their crushes with each other, Charlie with Pete and Penny and Ron, secretly date them behind the scenes, using their double dates as a cover up to go off with their crushes

The only problem is, they have to do this without outing themselves and maybe getting themselves kicked out to conversion therapy *sad 50s noises*

And to add another layer, Penny and Charlie don't even like each other because they're fighting over Pete

Charlie dated him last year, as a cover up and in the poor hope that it will get rid of her outrageous crush on Carole, but showed up after the summer to see him sharing spit with Penny

So they hate each other

But both love Carole

And Carole loves both of them

When hanging out on the weekend, Penny and Carole find themselves alone, one thing leads to another and they end up kissing

Carole still loves Charlie too, and Penny's not giving up her cover with Pete now

At a school dance, Goose, sad that he's still not got closer to Ron, offers her a solution, set Charlie up with Ron, two career focused people who both have an image to up keep

Cue typical rom-com shenanigans, also featuring Carole and Penny cuddling for warmth in winter, Goose watching Ron train and going fully red when he walks over and smiles, all covered in sweat

Eventually, Goose kisses Ron, he teaches him a bit of piano and tries to show him that he can still have his golden future and have fun at the same time

Also Icemav get together in the background

Eventually we get a grease like situation in terms of friendship, but charenrole, sloose and icemav together secretly

Also Mark and Elizabeth get together too, but that's really in the background, just got to sprinkle in my love for ER wherever I can lol

I feel like I've been a bit of a lump through June, I have done a lot of scribbling and it makes me feel more productive to share

First up is some pyromegan victorian doll mask sketches(and Megan herself) from when I was figuring out how closely I wanted her to resemble a doll and I just love the vibe these sketches give off

Jake Seresin works at the San Francisco General Hospital as a pediatrician whose patients absolutely adore him. His job is everything to him: he lives and breathes being a doctor. His best friend Dr Machado, a renowned surgeon, tries desperately to set him up on dates, but Jake always makes excuses and leaves his dates hanging.  

However, after invoking the Bro Pact, Javy manages to make Jake promise he’ll come at his house for dinner (and a blind date, but Jake doesn’t know it). On his way to Javy’s, Jake is in a car accident and falls into a coma.

A few months later, Bradley Bradshaw finds a very nice apartment in San Francisco which he takes a sublet on. Bradley is a grieving dad, his daughter Elizabeth Natasha Bradshaw, or Lizzie-Nat, died of an undiagnosed  disease, and Bradley still feels responsible. He thinks he should have seen his daughter wasn’t feeling very well much sooner, maybe then…?

Couch-potatoeing and drinking become Bradley’s daily life. The man can’t work anymore, it’s too painful: he used to be a voice actor for kids shows; shows his daughter loved to listen to because of his dad’s voice. And despite his best friend and firefighter Natasha’s best efforts (to matchmake, amongst other things), Bradley becomes a reclusive.

Until one day, a blonde man inserts himself into Bradley’s home and life, and begins to boss the guy around (“Step off that perch of yours, Bradley McNugget Bradshaw!”). However, Bradley is convinced he’s become crazy as he’s the only one able to see the infuriating man and talk to him…

Welcome to The Sims 2! Part 42

Greetings, Sims Fans!

Where, but in The Sims 2, will you find a Social Bunny or an invisible Shrink when the going gets tough? The Sims 2 is, without a doubt, the funniest, quirkiest and most eccentric game that your gaming dollar can buy – a fact we're all extremely proud of. So when it came time to set the game to music, we looked for talent that shared our particularly skewed outlook on life, simulated or otherwise. An unspoken guideline during this process was, if we could find someone with a history of donning flowerpot headgear, our search was over.

Enter Mark Mothersbaugh...

Mark's music career spans more than thirty years, way back to 1972 when he first formed the electro-pop ironist oddity, Devo. The fact that a band as immediately unique and strange as Devo met with some real serious commercial success in the 1980's with hits like "Whip It" draws some obvious parallels to The Sims, which came from out of nowhere and went on to reap a whirlwind of critical and financial accolades, much like the boys of Devo. Of course, when you continually craft gorgeous pop gems, it hardly matters if you dress your band members up as potatoes, which they did for 1982's Oh No! It's Devo! album.

What most people don't know about Mark is that he has been largely eschewing the limelight for the last decade or so to focus instead on a prestigious and lucrative career as a film and television composer. You can hear his handiwork all over the place, popping up in kid-friendly shows like Pee-Wee's Playhouse, or the Nickelodeon hit, The Rugrats. Mark has also crafted some amazing adult-themed scores for indie-film auteur Wes Anderson's films Bottle Rocket and Rushmore, provided the audio accompaniment for Adam Sandler's ode to goofiness, Happy Gilmore, among others.

Mark, thanks for lending us your particular brand of unhinged genius for The Sims 2! We couldn't be happier with the music!

So in anticipation of the impending release of The Sims 2 we'd like you to get yourself in the mood by listening to this track that Mark wrote for the credits of the game over and over and over again, while you daydream about all the endless hours of fun you'll have once The Sims 2 hits store shelves. I like this track as it really captures the quirky, fun feeling of playing The Sims 2.

This track is particularly important for The Sims 2 team, since it's such a happy, bouncy track. It's impossible to hear this piece of music and not be filled with joy, especially when you listen to it playing over the credits. Watching all those names scroll by, it really hits home that the game is complete and that a team of well over 100 extremely talented people worked their tails off ceaselessly to bring it to the screen of your PC. Mark's music really drives home the sense of accomplishment we all feel – not to mention the party atmosphere that has now descended on the office!

Ahh, jeez...I gotta go. I'm getting all misty.

P.S. How many of you have been tracking The Urbz, our upcoming Sims console game? Well, if you haven't seen it yet, head to The Urbz Website ( http://www.theurbz.com ) to get a brief rundown on what happens when the Sims hit the city....and why am I bringing this up, you ask...well since we are on music-related news, I thought it would be cool to note that the hip-hop megastars the Black Eyed Peas are going to be providing music and more to The Urbz: Sims in the City. The Peas are dropping a new album, Monkey Business, in November, which is coincidentally when The Urbz will be hitting stores as well. As part of the deal, new versions of nine of the songs on Monkey Business will be re-recorded in Simlish for the game, and the Peas themselves will appear as characters in the game! How cool is that!!?
