Hello everyone. Today, i'm gonna write my review about first semifinal of "Melodi Grand Prix". This is norwegian musical competition and the winners will be represent Norway in "Eurovision Song Contest". And by the way, this is the first time when i watch "Melodi Grand Prix". I think maybe it will be better than this boring albanian selection. Ok, are you ready? Let's go!

The hosts of Melodi Grand Prix is Fredrik Solvang and Marion Ravn.

Tempted to write a trolls fic in Norwegian (my mother tongue), both to practice my fiction writing in my own language and to write something for my sister (who is 9 and finds my Hanahaki au a bit too exciting), but my main reason is that the BroZone brothers have the most dork names in Norwegian 😭

Or, the three oldest do, Branch is just the literal translation “Kvist”, and Floyd is “Falk” which means falcon. So objectively Floyd’s the best one

Clay is “Karse” aka watercress (fitting honestly with his hair-)

Spruce/Bruce is “Barlind/Erling” aka Yew (a species of tree so fitting with Spruce) and a “more mature version” of the name

And John Dory is Jan Didrik. Which is the most dork name ever and doesn’t have a translation as it’s just a name.

So if anyone needed evidence for whatever reason that JD is a dork, just take the Norwegian name as proof-

So I saw Les Mis Oslo and I have many emotions #1

This is from the show the 11th of January, and I'm seeing it again later tonight (15h of March) so watch out for more notes later!!

-So first of all ; it's amazing and gay as fuck

-I must admit I payed more attention to Les Amis than the rest, but

-ok so it's clear from the start Håvard Bakke is amazing and an incredible Javert, plus he's real fucking handsome so that's a good thing

-In addition to him Eponine (Marion Ravn) Enjolras (Andreas Hoff) Grantaire (Lasse Vermeli) and Jean Valjean (André Søfteland) all have the strongest and most incredible voices in the entire cast

-that's just facts

-Jean Valjean is ripped af, making it very believable he could lift the truck and do slave work for 19 years

-The actor playing Courf (Marius Grønsdal) has sung before the royal staff members several times. He's a lil bean and super cute, and he too has an amazing voice

-Ferre is not in it however;Jehan, Courf, Feuilly and Joly are. R and E as well as Marius obviously

-and just like the movie they make it seem Marius and E are the revolutionaries

Rant over, now to the show

-In the beginning you can see the slaves work hard, dragging a boat (you can see the shadow of one in the background,) and Javert is standing on top of a building

-They're all singing, and when one of the slaves die, Javert makes two of the soldiers drag his lifeless body of stage

-Underneath the building Javert is standing on, there is a loop for hanging people

-The soldiers are whipping the slaves, and when Valjean is dragged forward, three soldiers holds him hard and push him into the floor as Javert sings

-Javert then throws his yellow papers onto the ground. The background disappears, and Valjean is left alone on stage

- He is left walking around, (the stage spins) and you can see R (as a rich man) telling him to get lost as he won't get paid working for him
