hi! i’ve seen that you also work with tarot cards so i wanted to ask this question mostly for curiosity and also to understand more tarots!

is it possible to misread the cards because of bias we have? like we really believe in something or we have a strong opinion on someone and then when we do a reading about them or that topic we just read what we wanted to see, i mean we are still human so i think it’s pretty hard to be as unbiased as possible, right? eventually, is there a method that we audience can use to understand when someone is biased or not?

honestly i think no 😅 maybe the only way we can have is observing and making our conclusion lol.

And it is something I try to always to about on here!!! It comes hand in hand with a lot of other different topics, especially when it comes to the generalisation of social media and content creation/consumption.

Listen, I get it. Tarot and astrology are fun. They're quirky, they're great, they have a somewhat stable foundation. They're a pseudoscience and when done right, it can be scarily accurate and thus, lures you in. So I get the popularity, the need to consume. To know more.

Now, I wish it were more about becoming more knowledgeable on the spiritual practices themselves rather than it being just about having to know the tea. There are a lot of ifs, buts and ands when it comes to tarot (more so than with astrology, which isn't that much interpretative).

Truth is, wanting the tea to be spilt, comes with a lot of attention and a point blank period opportunity to get attention on social media. It isn't that hard to just- you know, order a deck on Amazon, use its booklet for interpretations, ask a question and just- pull a set of cards from it, write something up, post it online and stir some things. Right?

Whereas CREATING CONTENT RESPONSIBLY should be a MUST, I truly believe that the way to fill the gaps and not create a hostile environment within the spiritual community online is RESPONSIBLE CONTENT CONSUMPTION.

I actually tackle all of this in one of my intro to tarot courses (which have yet to come back) and I'll probably create one that isn't that much about reading tarot but consuming its content. YES, readers 100% have a bias when reading!!!

But also, YES, it is our job to get rid of it. Now, not many people do it, because it takes time, patience and most important, willingness to admit that you might make mistakes. I'll try to give a quick rundown on how exactly it goes on before we move on to how YOU as a tarot content consumer can better approach these situations.

As intricate as the art of tarot is, it can easily be summarised as us (readers) using a spiritual tool (the deck) to access a universal answer (the answer to a question being asked) and we do this by *threading* personal energies (of those around the matter at hand) under a specific current context (especially time) and by doing this, we get to pick and choose which of the outcomes seems best suited for what we are looking for.

If you've seen Doctor Strange/Avengers Endgame... you can picture it similarly to the scenes where Dr Strange gets to see a million possible scenarios and finally settles on a specific one being 'the most viable'

The reader's bias comes into play when we are truly wishing for a specific outcome/ our mind is settled before the reading (which is why, it is extremely important to prepare beforehand/set the mood/meditate) since the 'strongest energy thread' AKA what we usually take as the most vibrant/accurate one will be the one most influenced by our own energy and it may not necessarily be the most accurate one.

As all divination methods, tarot isn't 100% accurate because they're just archetypes that are subjected to change due to a million things. But having a biased reader will most likely downgrade the accuracy to around a 20-40% in accuracy.

Now, even expert readers may be biased. Not that much, and most definitely not all the time. The difference with someone who is pretty much biased and set in remaining that way is that practised readers are able to tell when they're being biased even in the middle of a reading (eg. they'll see a card that doesn't fit and know it is out of place)

It's a pretty wide topic... and it doesn't necessarily mean to instil in you a fear of content consumption, nor does it mean that YOU have to become knowledgeable in tarot if you want to have fun reading silly little things online.

My best advice is: Don't be afraid to question things!!!

More often times than not, biased/unethical readers absolutely despise being cross-referenced (but do so politely, please)

There's this weird idea of content creators, especially spiritual ones being all dark and mysterious, vague in explanations and unapproachable, creating this sort of gap that sort of makes them seem like they're in a position of power. When!!! that's!!! not!!! the!!! case!!!.

Tarot/astrology/divination methods are spiritual choices that we make in our lives in our human search of becoming better people/nurturing more sides of our multidimensional being. And while doing so with respect and proper guidance, there isn't a reason why it should be treated as something that is only accessible to some and kept out of hands reach for the rest.

ok hi so I saw emonette on my dash and when I saw her in fingerless gloves it made me think of those black & pink prom tulle dresses that had spaghetti straps/were strapless from the 2000s/2010s or like an Avril Lavigne type dress with a long torso that has like tool underneath

yes, in my HC she does have top surgery! she is genderweird... (t4t adrinette is so real. to me.) because of how much the show likes to reverse gender roles for marinette and adrien i see marinette as being butch/GNC + also being a Half Ladybug Creature when using her miraculous affected her self perception and xeno'd her gender, she's like if an insect was a tomboy.

(also marinette and adriens wedding jewelry is replicas of each others miraculous..... thats just my hc....)

Hello! Oh I’m so glad you’ve come to enjoy my readings on bts! I appreciate the love for my hard work so much and I love to have you guys enjoy them!

As you might have noticed from my astrology/tarot content, I am very wary and specific about how exactly I handle love readings for the members since my top priority has always been respecting their boundaries.

I completely understand the itch we can get to know a bit more about them and their personal lives as they are celebrities but I refuse to strip them from their privacy and human sides, opting to keep away from most of their most private aspects of life like some other tarot/astrology content creators do.

Now, I am very much aware of the fact that you can easily get a too intimate look into their lives elsewhere so by all means, I’ve always encouraged everyone around here to be sure of the type of content they would like to consume and advise on doing so consciously.

I like to think that my main differentiator with other content creators of the like, is that I always have and always will prioritise that the content you guys get from me is accurate and unbiased, 100% not about the clout and as educational as I can get it to be, by being very transparent and respecting the artists’ personal boundaries.

Please remember that us readers do not have explicit permission to access celebrities energies and even less so to get the info we might read on out there so we mess with something a bit bigger than us when done correctly.

It is also important to note that when it comes to love readings, it is even much more delicate. And I’m being brutally honest here.

I can’t use astrology on a celebrity’s current or future s/o if I don’t know who they are. I can’t possibly come to know the exact date of birth/place of birth using only the celebrity’s chart and somehow whip out a synastry. Surely, the celebrity’s chart might show signs of astrological archetypes on generalities about the type of person they might benefit from or would be a nice fit for them, but it isn’t a future telling method nor is it guaranteed as there’s a lot of other factors to be played.

When it comes to tarot as a divination method, it’s faulty. Tarot can only be used as a reliable source for the future up until 6 months after the reading. Even more so, it is difficult to read on significant others as the archetypal source of energy is the same for s/o, spouse, or any other situationship + when it comes to celebrities it’s so hard to tell on their love life’s future simply because there are so many people around them manifesting them and pushing a lot of energy their way.

Now, what I actually CAN deliver to you guys in terms of love readings (and I have and continue to do so) are love readings which information I get I can assure you is high quality and veritable, which have to do with how love as an archetype/as a general concept relates to the artist.

And I’m sure you might be able to find a bunch of them in my masterlist, such as: what he thinks of love, the type of person he might benefit from, what he considers his ideal type, his thoughts on relationships and the like.

If there’s something that abides to that boundary and you’d like to know or know more about something I’ve put out/an updated reading, do let me know and I’ll get to it in due time!

The mouse miraculous' curse is indeed a kind of disassociation! The miraculous side effects are often like radiation poisoning, a bleed from the magic of the miraculous to the person wielding it. So the side effects often represent an aspect of the power one gains from the magic or the animal it's associated with. With the mouse miraculous, splitting into multiple people who you *are* simultaneously would probably mess with your sense of awareness a little even without the magic radiation/

Also, regarding Tikki and the other Kwamis, remember, they are immortal. They can care, in their own way, about their wielders, but know how temporary those wielders are. Would you shoot a dog to prevent a thousand dogs from dying? To prevent the universe from ending? Would you shoot *your* dog? Even if you loved them a lot, you have to admit that the value of that one life is nothing in compare to the benefits of ending or ruining it. So it goes for Tikki and the other Kwamis. Their wielders are inconvenient at worst, and represent short friendships at best. Tikki, like Marinette, will ultimately value getting the job done over total honesty. And besides, Marinette never asked. Why would she volunteer information that would make Marinette *less* likely to serve her purpose?
