Fate/Grand Order
Familiar on TV, TYPE-MOON's Fate RPG! You can enjoy a full-fledged RPG even on your smartphone. A story where you can enjoy an overwhelming volume of over 5 million characters! In addition to the main story, we have prepared a story for each character, and the content is enough to satisfy both Fate fans and those who are experiencing the world of Fate for the first time. 2015 AD. Chaldea, which observes the future of the Earth, has confirmed the fact that human history has collapsed since 2017. The "promised future" until 2115, which had certainly existed until yesterday, suddenly disappeared without warning. why. Why. who. how. A provincial city in Japan in the year 2004. "An unobservable area" that had never existed before appeared here. Chaldea hypothesized that this was the cause of human extinction, and decided to carry out the sixth experiment, which was still in the experimental stage. "It's time travel to the past." A forbidden ritual that transforms humans into spirits and sends them to the past, intervening in events to reveal or destroy singularities in space-time. "The name is Human Rights Protection Order, Grand Order." It is a general term for those who fight against fate and confront human history in order to protect humanity. An easy-to-use command order battle optimized for smartphones! The player becomes a master and manipulates the spirits to defeat enemies and solve mysteries. "Whether you fight with your favorite Heroic Spirit or a strong Heroic Spirit, the battle style is up to the player." ◆ Gorgeous voice actors participate one after another Shiki Aoki, Himika Akaneya, WoL Inspiration Chart
Yume Aino
Template from Twitter (I didn’t actually use the template and made one myself.)
In order of top to bottom on first column, then move to the right and down the third column:
Tifa Lockhart from FFVII
Tifa is the one FF girl that resembles Yume the most, as she is beautiful, intelligent, compassionate, and such a sweet person who is so much more complex than she seems on the surface. Her personality and her looks are really similar to Yume, and Yume would steal Tifa’s entire wardrobe.
Rei Hino/Sailor Mars from Sailor Moon
Yume has a lot in common with Rei/Sailor Mars from the Sailor Moon Manga and the new Sailor Moon Crystal, not the original 90’s anime that completely revamped Rei’s personality and character arc. Both women have visions, though Rei’s are premonitions and a sixth sense whereas Yume has the Echo of course. They both seem calm and composed, but have strong emotions and are highly protective of their loved ones.
Mariko from James Clavell’s Shogun
Mariko is one character I always had in mind when I created Yume, and she has always been a favorite character of mine in general. She’s a retainer for the daimyo Yoshi Toranaga, and she’s such a sensitive but strong willed woman who is a complex character in her own right and doesn’t just serve as the white man’s love interest. She defies the tired and, quite frankly, racist Lotus Blossom trope, and she is a brilliant character who continues to inspire Yume. I assume many haven’t seen this TV miniseries, but if you can get a hold of a copy of Shogun, I highly recommend it!
Auron from FFX
Oh my, how can I talk about Yume’s inspirations without talking about Auron? If you have played FFX, this pretty much speaks for itself. Auron was the guardian for Lord Braska and then becomes Yuna’s guardian on her pilgrimage to Zanarkand. Auron is essentially a FF homage to a ronin, so how could he not be an inspiration for Yume?
Chiyo/Sayuri from Memoirs of a Geisha
Now, if you have followed me long enough, I’m sure at some point I have talked about Zhang Ziyi and how she is Yume’s faceclaim/voiceclaim. But by far, her role as Sayuri in Memoirs of a Geisha was the biggest inspiration for Yume. Her lifelong goal of love, her struggles with wanting to live her own life, and her perseverance are all in common with Yume. Not to mention that I chose Yume’s black hair and bright blue eyes to honor Sayuri.
Jasmine from Disney’s Aladdin
Now this may not be the Disney princess that you might have thought I would choose here, ahem Mulan cough, but actually, Mulan and Yume’s personalities are very different and outside of them both becoming warriors, the similarities between them are very superficial.
HOWEVER, Jasmine and Yume are so alike its honestly crazy! They are both women born into high class who are being forced to marry and these women are NOT happy with that! They both want to marry for love, and eventually, they both do. Yume also loves birds and tigers like Jasmine, both love the color blue, and they are intelligent, feisty, and compassionate women.

Additional Info
Creator Shinobu Ohtaka shared the following comment back in August along with a celebratory illustration:
"The staff of the Orient anime are hard at work making the best anime they possibly can. As an author, I can’t wait to see new life breathed into my characters, and see how they move when animated."
Director Tetsuya Yanagizawa commented, as well:
“I’ve been reading shonen manga since I was a kid. I’ve learned a lot from manga. I love strong characters, and the way they stay true to what they believe and fight through any trial has given me courage many times. I like weak heroes too. When somebody falls and then gets back up again, they always grow as a person. Sometimes fighting with your friends, or laughing with them... I like all those kinds of manga. And Orient has all of that. I’ve always wanted to make a show like this."
As did series composition writer Mariko Kunisawa:
“The world of Orient is the society we live in. The more I read it, the more I realize that.” I want to share the things that make this manga great with as many people as possible, and both the director and I are working are hardest at it.”

youtube
Svelati anche i doppiatori dei due protagonisti della storia:
Tsugumi Hattori: Rie Takahashi (Takagi in Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san)
Naotora Takeda: Satoshi Hino (Kyojuro Rengoku in Demon Slayer)
